Tim's house was in a nice part of Gotham, not Bruce Wayne nice, but nicer than her two bedroom apartment. She walked up the front stairs to the blue door, she raised her hand, and pushed the doorbell. A dog was barking on the other side of the door and she could hear a voice yelling that, 'Yes dad' he was getting the door!

Tim's eyes were blue.

That was the first thing she noticed about him when he answered the door, the other was that he looked very suprised.

"Steph! You're here?" She nodded and pulled him in by his shirt for a hug. Her arms held him tightly to her, and slowly he hugged her to him. "So you know?" Steph nodded against his chest tears falling down her face. "Steph," he pleaded, "please don't cry, I'm okay. Really truly okay." Steph looked up at him and stood up on hip tip toes and wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him down to her in a heated kiss. Her tongue ran across his bottom lip, lingering, waiting, until his mouth opened against hers. And there on his door step his tounge danced with hers as she gripped his black hair in her hands, holding him to her.

When she came up for air her tears had dried and a smile was on her lips. He pressed a soft kiss against her cheek and grabbed her hand in his, pulling her into his house.

"Dad?" Tim called, standing in front of the door as Steph crouched down to scrath behind the ears of a small white and brown beagle that had come bounding over to her when she walked through the door. She stood when a man, who looked almost exactly like Tim, except for the black rimmed glasses sourounding his blue eyes, came wandering in from the other room.

"Stephanie?" His voice was deep, but still sounded like Tim's. She nodded blushing and shook his outstretched hand.

"It's very nice to meet you Mr. Drake." Tim shot a look at her and smiled when he noticed the blush creeping up her neck.

"Same to you Stephanie, I've heard a lot about from Tim. Apparantly you are quite the girl." He smiled at her and looked to his son who was now taking his turn at blushing. " Well I'll leave you be, I have to go to work. There's food in the fridge if you'd like to stay for lunch." He grabbed his keys out of a bowl by the door, and left them alone in the foyer.

"Soooo," she drew out turning to face him. "I'm quite the girl?" Tim smiled and placed his hands on her hips, pulling her into him.

"You are quite the girl Miss Brown." He pecked her lips softly. "You're smart," peck, "brave" peck "beautiful" peck. "And you have quite the kick." She was laughing by the time he laid one more sweet kiss on her lips. "Now would you like to watch a movie with me?"

"I would love to watch a movie with you, Tim." She stressed the new name, testing the feel of it in her mouth, she smiled up at him and he nodded. Leading her into a comfy looking room with a tv mounted on the wall. She sat on the couch as he rifled through the movies in a drawer by the tv.

"What do you want to watch Steph?"

"Anything you want," she said, laying her head against the back of the couch, her eyes sliding shut. The couch shifted as he sat down next to her, pulling her head to rest on a pillow in his lap; an arm draped over her, his hand petting her blond hair. She smiled sweetly up at him, keeping her eyes closed, as the opening notes to Star Wars rung through the living room.
