A/N: Thank you all so much for the warm words and messages you have been sending me regarding this story! I read all your reviews/messages and they make me smile each time! Thank you so much! Before I continue on into chapter 11, I want to answer one of the questions I received.

"Will there be any lemons in this story?" - Well, I been teetering the line of lemons and seeing how much detail I can comfortably go into. I don't mind reading lemons or anything of that nature, but when it comes to writing them its a little awkward! Haha! But I am definitely going to be writing lemons, how much of a lemon it would be I'm not quite so sure. If anything, it won't be in complete detail. Hope thats alright, but I will try to make it tastefully done.

Well lets start off with chapter 11... hope you enjoy as much as you have so far!

Chapter 11: I See You, You See Me Differently

Raven teleported to the roof of the palace, hoping to stay out of their leaders way. She really didn't want to be reprimanded, especially not right now. She could hardly hold onto her emotions and the fact that she did so much dark magic didn't help the situation. She took deep breaths, staring out at the realms of space. Worries started to cross her mind as she tried to cut them down. Will she be thrown off the team? This is her second offense for almost burning a person alive through her dark magic. Will no one trust her? And Beastboy... what he must think of her for trying to devour his girlfriend. Raven clasped the sides of her head, covering her ears, trying desperately to tune out the negative voices in her head.

"I'm so selfish! I'm such a horrible person! I'm going to ruin our chances to save Starfire!" She rambled to herself, letting the tears finally flow freely from her eyes.

Bird noises began to squawk as she let her hands drop from the sides of her head. She looked over to find a green raven transform back into the boy she was terrified of seeing right now. Beastboy.

"No you aren't." He responded, his face was so serious it looked like it was chiseled out of stone. Raven brought up her hood, covering her eyes. She didn't want to be glared at so heavily by Beastboy. "You aren't selfish." Beastboy echoed. She heard his footsteps shuffle closer to her, stopping right at her side. She stayed frozen, not moving a muscle. Azarath, Mentrione, Zinthos...

"Raven, I'm not mad at you, you know." Beastboy spoke up as Raven's shoulders tensed. It was like he could read her mind. She felt his warmth as his arms extended around her back, holding her close. She felt like she could melt, but kept her composure as best as she could.

"Why? How aren't you?" Raven managed to hiccup as she didn't dare stare at the green changeling.

"You couldn't control yourself. I can't blame you for something you can't control. We been through this predicament plenty of times already." Beastboy moved his hand in circular motions on her lower back. The urge to resist kissing him was growing stronger. Why hadn't she just kissed him so long ago? This situation wouldn't have ever happened.

"Can't blame me?!" She scoffed, still remaining stiff. "I almost sent your girlfriend to a whole different dimension." The word girlfriend bounced off Raven's lips painfully. The full realization that Terra held that title over her was too painstakingly real. Beastboy's pointy ears twitched at the word as he stared out at the stars. What exactly was his relationship with Terra? He thought he figured it out while speaking with Cyborg but there was still inches of him that were unsure.

"Rae..." Beastboy didn't have a clue on how to start this conversation off. "She isn't exactly my girlfriend." Raven's eyes widened, she felt relieved but at the same time disgusted.

"What do you mean? You just felt her up and threw her to the side?" Raven blurted, she couldn't help but feel differently about the Beastboy she was coming to know. One who would drink and screw random girls without pity.

"Woah! Raven, you know I'm not like that!" Beastboy protested, holding his hands up.

"But that's exactly what you're doing." Raven retorted, hugging her cloak tighter around her body.

"I made a mistake, Rae. I didn't care at that point because of how you were treating me. I'm not saying Terra was something I went up to to just fuck around with." Raven turned to get a small look at Beastboy. When she did she was almost horrified, the amount of seriousness on his face was equivalent to Nightwing. She couldn't believe Beastboy had this level of seriousness even in him. "Terra is someone very important to me, if I didn't care about her I wouldn't have stopped you now would I?" His voice becoming as sharp as knives, Raven could feel them stabbing away at her already fragile heart.

"Then what is she." Raven clearly stated, giving Beastboy her full eye contact. Beastboy got choked up over the tensity in her violet irises. Her eyes were moist, full of questions and sick of not getting answers.

"She's a person that I loved deeply in the past. Someone that haunted my dreams for years, someone I wanted something with. A future, a life, an escape. When I saw her again, the sight of her beautiful blue eyes and that soft golden hair... I immediately felt a part of me wanting to launch myself at her. That Beastboy that whimpered around her room, laying on her bed, holding the heart box I gave her, constantly putting flowers on her stoned body... the Beastboy that so desperately wanted her to come back... to love her... to show her that she was something greater than a villain.. a person to be feared." Beastboy closed his eyes as he cleared his throat. Raven listened to all his words clearly, tracing them over in her mind. She bit at the sides of her mouth, trying to be strong.

"When she was finally standing there in front of me, I felt like I was handed a trophy. I felt so rejected by you, that I felt this was the universe's sign that maybe Terra was the answer. I didn't care of repercussions and did what I always wanted to do. I wanted to make Terra mine, in some way, some form." He breathed in heavily, trying to collect the right thoughts. "What the younger Beastboy didn't notice was that times have changed. I have changed. I'm not that desperate little boy anymore and in some ways I have matured and in others... I clearly haven't." When he opened his mouth to continue, Raven pressed a slim gray finger to his lips.

"No more." She hushed, shaking around violently. Beastboy put his hands on her shoulders, trying to hold her still. "I can't hold on to this darkness anymore!" She squeeled as Beastboy stood, staring down at the demon eyed Raven sitting before him.

"How do we get rid of it?" He questioned as Raven fought to stay in control as her cloak flashed from red to violet.

"I need to let it all out, if I don't let it all out now it will interfere with our mission... Starfire could die because of me!" Raven screeched as Beastboy pounded a fist into his palm.

"I know what we have to do, let's let it all out." Beastboy spoke, extending his arm out to her.

"But if I do that, Terra will be destroyed!" Raven cried.

"No, your problem doesn't involve Terra. It's all about me Raven." Beastboy sternly looked at her as he raised his arms outward. "Come at me. I will do this. Not only do I deserve this, but I will do this for you." Raven's eyes grew wide as the inner demon in her took over. She raised to the skies dressed in red, hunching over Beastboy as he looked up with her with a wide smile.

"Don't hold back." He beckoned as Raven flew towards him, throwing him through the palace's roof. They went toppling down into the old throne room where Starfire won the crown back from Blackfire many years ago. And just like that battle, this fight was sorely between Beastboy and Raven. However, Beastboy wasn't going to fight back. He was just going to take it. He laid on the cement ground, motionless as he awaited Raven to take out all her frustrations, all the dark magic on him. He was then pulled up in the air by his left ankle, Raven's mouth foaming as she tossed him left and right, hitting into the giant pedestals in the room.

"You hurt me, you betrayed me!" She spat as she dropped Beastboy to the ground once again. His body was beginning to become sore. Bruises were forming on his sides, the skin being punctured on his legs from the broken marble. The long black-like vines came swirling out, grabbing a hold of his midsection. The dark energy swirled around his stomach, squeezing it to the point where Beastboy's legs were flailing. He couldn't breathe.

"Let me show you how it's like to be hurt so bad you can't even breathe!" Raven mocked, squeezing him tighter than flinging him into the emperor's throne. His chin smacked the edge of the chair, causing his jaw to almost unlock. He hunched over in pain, breathing heavily as he tried to regain his composure. She slithered over to him like a serpent, the long lines of telekinesis trailing out to him, grabbing him at the ankles and pulling him towards her cape. The darkness that was emanating from the other dimension she was trying to pull him into was prominent. He was beginning to get frightened, but let her drag him away swiftly. He wanted her to get rid of this rage and if it was by him being tortured by her... so be it. Plus, he trusted her. That as enough for him to convince himself that his life wasn't in danger.

Beastboy found himself surrounded by darkness, there was nothing to be seen, only the bitter coldness that surrounded himself from the utter darkness. As he laid there, waiting for a something to happen, he felt a stab go through his shoulder.

"Augh!" He grunted as he held his shoulder in pain.

"One, two... buckle my shoe." He heard Raven singing, he peered around into the darkness but couldn't find her. "Three, four, close the door..." Two more stabs were pierced into the opposite shoulder. He screamed in pain as the blood began to trickle down his arm, trailing a long line towards his finger tips. As the crimson blood began to drip, it floated around him... like little drops from Jupiter.

"Five, six... pick up sticks..." His legs began to be stabbed through twice, the tears welling up in his eyes as he began to turn into a horrible figment of christmas. "Seven, eight... close the gate.." Two more digging through his flesh as the warm blood covered his feet from the numbness that was traveling through his body. He wanted to beg her to stop, but he deserved all of this. Thoughts of Terra danced throughout his head, moments of Raven and him tearing him apart. "Nine, ten, let's do this again...."

She continued to sing as his body was covered with all different types of pricks, wounds, and holes. Blood began to travel up his throat, getting caught like a ball between his windpipes. He coughed uncontrollably as thoughts kept pouring into his head. The first thought that came to his mind was a memory of him and Raven, when they were sharing an apartment together. As he reminisced through this thought to keep him away from the sheer and blatant pain he was going through he began to see the imagery come to life. The voice stopped singing and the shots stopped penetrating his skin.

"You really love music, don't you Rae?" Beastboy questioned as they sat on their beat up couch in the living room. It wasn't much but its what they had and all they both really needed was each other.

"Yeah, I mean.. who doesn't?" Raven questioned, giving that stink eye that she did on a normal basis towards him. Beastboy didn't realize how much her cheeks with turn a hot pink whenever a subject was brought up that meant something to her.

"Why?" He prodded as she rolled her eyes, tuning the radio to a different station.

"Because, it helps to express how I'm feeling. Since I'm really bad at that." She finally found a station and the famous song was 'As Long as You Love Me' by The Backstreet Boys. Beastboy couldn't help but chuckle. He couldn't believe how much Raven had loved that song. She hummed along to it, staring at Beastboy with lustful eyes. Beastboy disregarded it and shuffled to the kitchen. He went into the cabinets in search for some cereal.

Raven sat there, with a bit of a frown on her face as she turned away from him, focusing her energy on the radio. Beastboy began to sing the song as Raven lightly chuckled.

"What?" Beastboy laughed. "I mean, come on! Who in the nineties didn't like them?!"

"Boys, usually." She remarked as Beastboy let out a huff of air.

"Oh, please. They were full of shit." Beastboy shook his hips to the music making Raven crack up laughing. That was the first time he ever seen her become so easy going around him. Just laughing and singing along with him.

Beastboy looked at the memory dressed up like a play before him, he traced over all of Raven's actions and that's when it hit him. And it hit him really hard. He smacked a hand across his already bruised face, the cuts on his cheek stung but it didn't ache as much as his whole being right now. The words Raven said echoed throughout the darkness repeatedly.

"Because, it helps to express how I'm feeling. Since I'm really bad at that."
"Because, it helps to express how I'm feeling. Since I'm really bad at that."
"Because, it helps to express how I'm feeling. Since I'm really bad at that."
"Because, it helps to express how I'm feeling. Since I'm really bad at that."
"Because, it helps to express how I'm feeling. Since I'm really bad at that."

The answer was in front of Beastboy's face this whole time. How she would calm down whenever that song would play, how she would smile at him so sympathetically whenever the song was on, how she gave him the songs lyrics inscribed on a metal dog tag, how she called it their song so many times... How she blatantly told him that music explains how she feels. For years, Raven had been telling him that she had loved him. It was in front of his face this whole time, how she was struggling with her powers because of all the heavily used dark magic, how she was acting vile towards him and didn't understand why he was upset with her, how she was behaving different but at times was back to her old self...

Beastboy floated in the dark space as he finally realized what he had to do.

Although loneliness had always been a friend of mine, I'm leaving my life in your hands. People say I'm crazy and that I am blind, risking it all in a glance.

"Raven... I'm truly leaving my life in your hands right now. I trusted you so much to leave it in your hands and if you take it in your hands so be it. I may be crazy but I don't care, I been blind this whole time... I never realized what was right in front of my face. I always saw something but just dismissed it. I was scared."

How you got me blind is still a mystery, I can't get you out of my head. Don't care what is written in your history, as long as you're here with me.

"You always said to me no one could care for you, that I should of stayed back at the tower three years ago when you fled. But I just couldn't, back at that tower all I would of had was thoughts of you and that would of drove me into insanity. I don't care that you're the daughter of Trigun, I don't care if demons come after me from time to time because I do something stupid. I don't care about all that Raven!"

I don't care who you are, where your from, don't care what you did. As long as you love me. Who you are, where you're from, don't care what you did. As long as you love me.

"I know I screwed up, I screwed up bad. I should have never drank, I should of just talked it out with you. My rage took over for me and I know you know what that feels like. We may be two different entities, a half demon and a changeling. But we seem to be one in the same. We are the same person Raven! A bit screwed up in the head and misunderstood. I know your maturity is years before mine, but...I can't lose you..."

Every little thing that you have said and done, feels like it's deep within me. Doesn't really matter if you're on the run, feels like we're meant to be.

"I need you in my life Raven, okay? I was so scared of saying these words open and honestly with you. Just like you were with me. Instead you played it over a song, you told me over a song. I was too deaf to really get the message even though you straight up told me! I want to be by your side, I was by your side when the police were after you, when you were becoming a public enemy because of your powers. I don't want anyone else."

I don't care who you are, where you're from, don't care what you did. As long as you love me. Who you are, where you're from, don't care what you did, as long as you love me.

"I'm sorry for everything, I know I was an asshole. I know I done things that you can't forgive me for. I know I was blind and maybe I was on purpose. I don't know, but there is one thing that I do know Raven."

I've tried to hide it so that no one knows, but I guess it shows. When you look into my eyes. What you did and what you're coming from, I don't care, as long as you love me, baby.

"I love you, Raven!" Beastboy shouted at the top of his lungs as the darkness around him began to dissipate. His surrounding began to shatter like a mirror that fell to the floor. Pieces began to burst open through the darkness revealing a bright, white light. He threw his arm in front of his eyes as he shielded them from the ferocity of the bright lights. Beastboy stopped floating and felt himself land hard against the concrete, his body skipping like a stone on the water across the throne room. As he rolled over, pushing himself up he saw his reflection in the mirror that hung from the ceiling. His legs were full of blood, he couldn't move them without a heavy spike of pain shooting up to his ribcage. His face was blue around his right eye, his lip had a deep slice through the corner as his cheeks were full of small claw-like scratches. His arms were also stained in red, they shook about from the shock of multiple pressures.

He glanced around the room looking to find Raven as he collapsed to the cold ground. His body just didn't want to move.

"Beastboy!" He heard a voice cry out as footsteps clicked their way over to him. He looked directly ahead of him to find a pair of white shoes in front of his face. Her pale gray knees toppled to the ground next to him as she grabbed his face in her clammy hands. She anchored his face on her lap to look up at him. When his vision un-blurred he saw the most gorgeous sight before his eyes.

"Raven..." He breathed. She was fully dressed in white, her hair grew longer past her shoulders. It laid messily but almost perfect around her circle face. Beastboy let out a small smile as his chest heaved.

"Let me fix this!" Raven screeched as she began to use her healing magic on his ribcage. Beastboy kept smiling, staring up at her.

"Raven, wait." He softly spoke, his hand reaching up to cup her cheek. His arm was shaking violently as Raven's eyes widened.

"I can't wait, I have to-" Raven blurted as Beastboy shushed her.

"I don't care who you are, where you're from, don't care what you did, as long as you love me." Beastboy sang, staring deeply into her eyes. Raven couldn't believe the amount of passion she found in his eyes as she explored them. She could feel her lips tremble as she tried to respond to him.

"I don't care who you are, where you're from, don't care what you did, as long as you love me." Raven sang back, tears brimming over her eyelashes. Some drops of her salty tears landed on Beastboy's cheek. As she went to dry them with her finger, Beastboy jolted her head close to his. Before she knew it, the moment she was waiting for was planted right on her lips.

His green lips provided warmth on her cold gray ones, he was fierce, pulling her head in even closer as his tongue drifted over her bottom lip. She pressed into his mouth further, battling for dominance as they held each other close. The moment was full of pure bliss and relief that they both haven't felt in the longest time. As Raven broke the kiss, Beastboy pecked a trail of kisses from the corner of her mouth, to her upper cheek. He smiled meekly, as they rested their foreheads on top of one another. He laced his fingers softly around Ravens as he held her hand to his chest. She continued to heal him with her magic as they sat in silence for awhile.

When Raven finally healed up Beastboy, he sat up straight, stretching a bit.

"Thanks, Doc." He smiled as Raven smiled back.

"Thank you for doing this for me, Beastboy." She shyly responded as Beastboy rubbed her knuckles with his thumb.

"Anytime, Rae. Anytime." He went in for another kiss as Raven desperately accepted. He pushed her to the ground, climbing on top of her as she bit at his upper lip. A slight moan escaped his mouth as Raven opened her eyes up to look at him. When she did, she saw a vision of Terra sitting on top of her, her blonde hair cascading over her face as her blue eyes stared into hers menacingly. Raven jolted upwards, tossing Beastboy off of her as sat as straight as a board.

"What's wrong?" Beastboy questioned, calming himself down as Raven let out a small huff.

"Beastboy, as much as I am happy we are where we are now we are still not in the best predicament." Raven breathed as she looked around the room. "You still severely hurt me and I forgive you, but it will take some time." Beastboy listened to her words, then nodded.

"I completely understand, I'm sorry I was pulling a fast one again." He grunted as he stood up, dusting off his uniform. "But let's agree on something." He looked to Raven as she stared up at him blankly.

"Let's keep our minds concerned on Starfire now. We know me and you have issues to work through still but we should be putting Starfire as our number one priority. We can deal with this stuff later. You know where my heart lies, right?" Beastboy commented as he reached a hand out to Raven. She accepted it, as he pulled her to her feet.

"I couldn't agree more." Raven smiled as Beastboy reached around her waist, pulling her into a deep embrace.

"No matter what happens, what we will be tested through from here on out, know that I am here for you." He whispered into her ear as she melted right into him, finally finding out where she was longing to be was finally right.

Terra stood behind the gigantic doors to the throne room. She kept a gloved hand over her mouth, trying to keep in the sobs that tried to escape her lips. She saw the whole thing, she watched them lie in each others arms, she watched as Beastboy easily kissed Raven like he so easily kissed her not that long ago. Her head tilted down, staring at her boots as she wondered what was the truth? Beastboy clearly told her they would work together on their relationship if there was one, now he just threw that out the window? Was he involved with Raven this whole time? Did Raven know that they had sex?

She heard them singing to one another and her stomach started to do flips. The first man she trusted in her life, apart from Slade, betrayed her. He took her innocence, and acted as if it was no big deal. Was Raven really okay with this? Was she just floating on cloud 9? Everything wasn't okay, in fact it was far from that. Terra felt that the scene she was watching only was part of the truth. Did Raven trick him? Maybe even coerce him? There was no way, Raven turned down Beastboy. Right?

She was so confused as she slid down the wall, listening as they slurped each other's faces off in the adjacent room. She covered her face in her hands. She was beginning to wish she never emerged from the rock in the first place.

"You're in great danger!" Val-Yor repeated as he pounded on the door to the jail cell. Starfire scrunched up into herself, seeing as how she clearly saw that she was the only one she could trust at this very moment. Was everything just a lie? She looked over to Selene who began kissing the glass door, her face squished up against the glass. "Starfire!" He hissed as he beat on the door even harder. Starfire looked over to him to find that Selene's neck snapped around, glaring after her. She began to slowly crawl towards her.

"He's calling to you why don't you answer him?" She spoke in a low, disgruntled voice. She slowly got herself up in such a way it was disturbing, her bones seemed to click in different ways, like she was putting herself back together.

"I... I do not know how to respond." Starfire responded, a bit shaken up from the atmosphere developing in the tiny room. Selene walked over the the mirror, staring at her blank expression.

"What are you to him?" She spat viciously as Starfire looked into Val-Yor's eyes.

"Come over here." Val-Yor mouthed, Starfire trembled as she tried to move forward. Selene placed a hand to the wall, spinning around to focus on Starfire.

"I SAID WHAT ARE YOU TO HIM!" Her fist went flying into the glass mirror, sending shards of glass to fly everywhere.

"I... I.." Starfire stuttered, she looked down at her wrists to find they were still encased in the shackles. She didn't have her powers to help her out. Selene came running up to Starfire, scooping up a piece of sharp glass with her her hands. She gripped the glass so hard that a dark line of blood trickled down her arm. "You are hurt!" Starfire squealed as Selene grabbed Starfire's hair, hoisting her up into the air by it.

"Shut up!" She yelled, throwing her arm around to Starfire's neck. The glass shard was close to poking into her skin. Val-Yor pressed a red button by the edge of Selene's cell as Selene eyed his movements. "Who is she Val-Yor?" She hissed. Val-Yor paused as Starfire stared at him with panic in her eyes. Starfire felt the blood begin to rise in her, she wanted to rip out Selene's organs one by one. She shook the thought away, trying not to give in to her instincts. She couldn't attack Selene because that would automatically result in her death. A guard rushed over, about to open the cell.

"Don't you dare attack me or she gets it!" Selene spoke, foaming at the mouth as she poked the edge of the glass shard into Starfire's neck. Starfire let out a small gasp as she tried to stay completely still in Selene's grasp.

"Selene, baby..." Val-Yor spoke, reaching out his arms towards the girl. "I'm not going to attack you." The guard shuffled something behind Val-Yor's back as Val-Yor stepped into the cell.

"Val-Yor?" She questioned, her grip on Starfire began to loosen up as she eyed the silver alien. Her eyes danced over him like he was a man from The Bachelor. She licked her lips, dropping Starfire and the glass shard to the floor. She crawled her way over to Val-Yor as Val-Yor got on his knees. With his one hand he grabbed the back of Selene's neck, massaging it as she closed her eyes making moaning noises. With his other hand he made the sign for Starfire to get out of there. Silently, Starfire began to scoot forward on the floor. Starfire ran over a piece of loose glass, making her wince. The sudden noise made Selene's eyes pop open.

Val-Yor suddenly hoisted Selene's neck up towards him, embracing her in a kiss. She flew her arms over his neck, bringing him in for years of passion that she was holding in for the silver alien. Starfire was finally able to escape the cell, hiding behind the wall, leaving Val-Yor on the floor kissing the short haired girl. When Val-Yor realized Starfire was finally out of the room, his eyes grew wide as Selene's eyes popped open, staring back into his wide-eyes. Behind his back he had a injector full of sleeping fluid. He quickly shot it out, stabbing Selene in the back of her neck. Her hands went frantic like cat claws, but was soon enough lying on the ground in a wordless heap.

Val-Yor stood, closing the cell door behind him with a great sigh escaping his lips. He smiled over at Starfire, placing a hand to her shoulder.

"I'm glad you're okay, Starfire." He smiled. Starfire felt warmth fill up her heart as the ship shook about. "We are entering war zone." He embellished as he escorted Starfire quickly back to her room.

It was time. The team gathered in the front courtyard of the palace, hopping onto the T-Ship. Terra stood, pinching at her legs as she walked over to their leader.

"Nightwing." She called out as he spun around, nodding with the most serious face ever. "Is it alright if I share with Raven instead?" Nightwing's jaw dropped like it was the worst problem ever. His face clenched together as he looked around at the team. He saw Raven was dressed in complete white, she seemed happier than usual. Which only meant something good happened, presumably between her and Beastboy. Especially since Terra did not want to accompany him in his pod this time around.

"Ask her yourself, if not team up with Barbara." Nightwing responded as he climbed into the front pod of the ship as Terra nodded. Terra ran her way over to Raven as Raven sat in her chair, making the necessary preparations for taking off. Terra climbed up the small ladder shaft, poking her head into Raven's pod. Raven looked over to find the girls blonde locks floating over her console.

"Yes?" She questioned, saying her first words ever to Terra this entire time.

"Mind if I sit with you?" Terra asked, polite smile laced onto her lips. Raven let out a sigh, looking back at Beastboy who didn't seem conscious of what was currently going on right now.

"I guess." Raven managed to choke out, curious of the girl's actions. She watched as Terra nestled in beside her, clicking her seatbelt into place. When the team was about to close the glass down on the pods Beastboy finally noticed Terra's absence. He looked around the area, surveying his teammates to find that Terra had cozied up with Raven. His face drooped as he sat down in his pod. Why? Why was she doing this? What's going on? He closed his glass chamber to find Galfore shuffling up to their ship.

"Good luck young travelers. I hope you return to Earth safely with my little bumgorf." He smiled tenderly at Nightwing who nodded back.

"I won't return until I find her." Nightwing promised as he closed the glass on his pod. Barbara stared over at Nightwing. He had been distant, especially since they landed on Tamaran. What exactly was going on in the leaders head anyways? "Titans, GO!" He yelled as the T-Ship took off for distant space. Cyborg had the ships coordinates locked in and they were heading off to hopefully find Starfire, alive and well.

"The ship will be stopping for now until we reload on ammo." Val-Yor spoke, sitting at the edge of the bed where Starfire sat against the headboard, a million thoughts running through her head.

"What is the truth, Val-Yor." Starfire asked, poker faced as she looked over to Val-Yor. Her eyes read no bullshit as he fumbled with his fingers.

"About what?" He questioned.

"Selene." Starfire simply stated, waiting for a response.

"Oh, what's the matter jealous?" Val-Yor heartily laughed as Starfire let out a harsh breath.

"No. I want to know the truth of the situation. Is Selene dead or not." Starfire pushed onwards.

"Well.." Val-Yor rubbed at his temples. He couldn't believe he was actually going to let Starfire into his life more than he already had. "I didn't tell you lies, but I didn't tell you the whole truth either."

"I would like the whole truth this time." Starfire's eyes narrowed, waiting for him to start his story.

"Well, I..." Val-Yor grunted. "You can never make things easy on me can you? Fine... you see." He trailed off gathering his thoughts, trying to rub the residue of her mouth from his lips.

"Remember how I said I saw her head get snapped by a Gorthien? Well, that was true but it was all a ruse. I thought I lost her but instead, a year later they dropped her off onto my planet. Selene was laying in tattered clothing, shaking uncontrollably. You see, this is when the war between this part of space broke out. Like I told you we need you to be a pure Tamaranian? Well, humans are said to be vicious, loving to fight, loving to yell. They took Selene captive to try to make her into something like a Tamaranian to use to protect themselves from the war. But when they tried to use her, they fell to the empire striking at them. They found no use of Selene and decided to weaken my senses by dropping her off on my planet." Starfire covered her mouth with a bit of a gasp.

"I can't believe they did such the thing.." Starfire sighed deeply as Val-Yor continued.

"She was a shell of her former self. She saw me, ran up to me like she always had, and told me she loved me. She jumped on me for days, constantly trying to have sex with me and talking of having a family. I thought it was normal, but something about it was off. Next thing I know she was going around the planet slicing the throats of my people. She was trying to take them out one by one, saying that me and her can refill the planet. That my planet can fall to the other attackers. She was crazy. Her mind was lost, she was full of bloodlust. She can be normal for up to two hours but then snap in an instant. Especially if it has anything to do with me, as you saw. She isn't in love with me anymore, she is obsessed. I much rather her be dead then this... this isn't Selene. But I just can't bring myself to get rid of her." Val-Yor cradled his head in his hands as Starfire made her way to the edge of her bed.

She held onto his arm, resting her head on her shoulder.

"Does that mean I can become that way too? Is that why you stared at me in that way when I was being the tortured?" Starfire questioned as all he could muster was a slight nod. She thought about how she could lose control, how she could snap anyone's neck off. It sent shivers up her spine. So far, the mantra that Raven had taught her helped her keep her cool. But how long would it last? Even Raven had her outbursts at times. She missed Raven more than ever.

A cold hand raised her chin, pecking a small soft kiss on her lips.

"I'm sorry." Val-Yor hesitated to say as he let go of Starfire's face. She felt her heart skip. A sudden flash of Robin's face appeared again, her stomach turning in knots. The alarms on the ship began to go off as Val-Yor ran out of the room.

Starfire couldn't even grasp her emotional feelings together. She knew for the longest time that she had loved Robin and nothing would ever change that. But Val-Yor constantly made her heart skip a beat. Was it because she was desperate for some type of love? Anything?

Or was it because they were connected on a more spiritual level? The ship began to shave vigorously as Starfire fell of the bed, slamming into the ship wall. She could hear lasers hitting the ship repeatedly. Just who was attacking them?

It was a long journey and no one really had a word to say. Cyborg kept fiddling with his arm communicator, Nightwing kept his eyes pointedly on the sky, Barbara kept glancing her way over at Nightwing wondering what he was thinking, as Beastboy continuously kept checking up on Terra and Raven in their pod. Terra sat next to Raven quietly, fiddling with her split ends. She kept opening her mouth, but it would tremble then close again. Raven kept looking at her from the side, wondering when she was finally going to say something. After the sixth time of doing it, Raven got annoyed and muted their communication to the rest of the ship.

"What is it, Terra?" Raven finally questioned as Terra released the strands of her hair, sitting up as straight as a board.

"Um, well.." She looked around the pod, her heart about to beat frantically out of her chest.

"Just say it. Obviously you have something to say, that's why you wanted to sit with me in the first place, right? Now say it." Raven huffed, she didn't want this awkward bullshit for the rest of the ride.

"Okay. Uh, you do know something happened between me and Beastboy right?" Terra questioned, pushing her thumbs into one another.

"Yeah, you had sex. I know everything." Raven tapped to the side of her head. Terra laughed awkwardly, of course Raven could know she can read into memories.

"R-right... I also... saw everything in the throne room." Terra spoke up, staring at Raven. Raven's eyes widened as she flicked the switch to autopilot, looking over at Terra.

"Okay.." Raven stammered as Terra poked her in the chest.

"Are you really okay with this whole negative thing going on right now?" Terra asked, a bit hysterical.

"What are you talking about? Beastboy loves me, you heard him. It was a mistake, you two that is." Raven replied coldly as Terra could feel tears in the back of her eyes, but she didn't dare allow them to come out.

"Yeah and you were sorta there for what he said to me... which is creepy by the way!" Her face turned pink as she covered up her chest as if she were bare. "You heard what he said to me when he wasn't drunk. He didn't regret it and he wanted to go to round two." Raven looked at Terra in disbelief, she thought back on the memories she never wanted to revisit and felt her heart shatter. She finally was able to conquer her emotional stability which means she could show all her emotions without fear of her powers losing control. She was white Raven now after all.

"Are you trying to say he's playing us?" Raven spoke lowly as Terra stuck her bangs behind her ear, looking back at Beastboy who looked desperate to find out what they were talking about.

"It just doesn't make sense." Terra retorted.

"You don't know our history. There is a difference between love and lust, I'm pretty sure thats what happened here. I understand the situation because I don't think like a child. You still do because you were stuck in rock for all those years. Beastboy told me, he said he felt like that fourteen year old boy again when he saw you. That all that buildup he had for years was just launched out in the wrong way." Raven responded as Terra sunk her head low.

"Look, I don't want any negativity, this trip is all about Starfire. Not about our relationship problems. We will all talk about it later." Raven stated boldy as Terra silently nodded, not wanting to hear anymore.

The titans hit through a war zone, the ships were quiet when they first entered but as they went deeper the ships were staring to be more active. As they weaved their way through lasers, cannons, and other threats they finally made it close to the coordinates that Galfore had supplied them with. Cyborg pointed over to a long silver ship with a 'V' encrusted to the side.

"Val-Yor..." Nightwing grunted as the ship took a hard beating.

"Aah!" The team spoke in unison as the ship went upside down in a spin.

"Keep together." Nightwing instructed as everyone held onto their module. One ship pulled up a long side them. The aliens looked like huge hedgehogs, they were brown and yellow with deep pointy scales. Buckteeth jutted out from its mouth with black beedy eyes glaring the team down. There were hundreds of them on one ship. Cyborg launched a missile at the ship causing the aliens to scatter, the took out laser guns, pointing it at the T-Ship, taking out the front pod. Robin's glass shattered around him, getting into the thicket of his skin. He winced but kicked the shield open, climbing on the top of the ship. The aliens started to hop from their ship on to the T-Ship smashing at Raven and Terra's pod.

Nightwing kicked a few off with a crane kick, watching them fall into deep space. One launched at him with a fist as Nightwing dodged it, grabbing for his electrodiscs he tossed one towards the alien. But to his dismay, the alien caught it between his teeth munching down on the disc. More aliens jumped across to the ship as Cyborg yelled for Nightwing to hold on. He grabbed the ships grab points, as Cyborg shook the ship around. He did spins, sharp turns, and all he could to shake them. But the aliens had a sticky substance that made them grapple onto the ship, making them not fall.

"This is a waste of time!" Nightwing cried, looking over at his shoulder to see the ship. To see where Starfire was so close yet so far away pained him. "I'm going to the ship."

"I'll go with you!" Barbara called, trying to open the glass shield to her pod.

"No! You stay, we need five people in this ship. Raven you take the front! I'm going after Starfire!" He leaped off the ship as Raven flew to the front of the T-Ship. She wasn't used to being leader, but listened to Cyborgs commands as they tried to shake off the aliens to protect Nightwing so he can grab Starfire and get out of there as quickly as possible.

Nightwing landed on the top of the ship, trying to find a way in. He found a latch at the top where just had to spin open the lever. As he did that, he tried to make subtle noise but it was hard to with a heavy metal latch. As he put it down as soft as he could, he stuck his head inside the ship to find that he was in some sort of main room. A couch with a blue ruggid beat up carpet was in there, a small tv and a coffee table. Yet, there were no people. He dropped himself in, closing the latch behind him as he looked at all the possible doorways. It was a central hub that had four doors leading off in different directions. How would he find Starfire?

He surveyed the area, listening intently to make sure there was no one around. The lights on the ship suddenly were red and blazed loudly. Shit. Nightwing spotted a vent in which he quickly slipped through the latch, being as stealth-like as possible. A set of doors slid open as a silver alien that Nightwing currently wanted to punch out ran through. He called something over his shoulder before heading to the next set of doors.

"Stay low, Starfire!" He heard him scream. Starfire! As soon as Val-Yor was out of sight, Nightwing slipped through the vent gate and ran through the doors.

"Starfire?!" He screamed, looking through every door, not seeing her yet. "Starfire?!" He shouted as he finally heard a voice.

"Robin? Is that you?!" He heard a feminine voice call out. He ran towards it, his heart beating against his chest. Butterflies began to entangle his stomach at the sound of her voice. He finally reached the door as it opened with ease. She wasn't locked in? When he spotted her sitting against the floor their eyes met.

Starfire's eyes were wide, misty, and a duller green than he remembered. He always compared her eyes to the gem Emerald. But they were much less shiny then they used to be. She was skinnier, her ribcage poked through her orange flesh, gray circles accumulated under her eyes. Her hair was a curly mess rather than straight like usual. Her uniform was scratched in certain places with dry blood stains. His eyebrows scrunched up wondering what exactly happened to her.

Starfire stared at Robin, he no longer looked like Robin. His hair grew down past his shoulders. He wore a black spandex uniform with a blue bird spread across his chest. He looked buffer than she remembered, he grew into a wonderful man.

Even though the situation didn't call for it, things were complicated beyond belief, and the first thing they needed to do was get out of there...they did the opposite.

Starfire stood to her feet, running over to Robin, embracing him in a tight squeeze as Robin could feel his throat contract, wanting to let out a cry. He drew her hips in closer to him nuzzling his face into her neck. Starfire began to cry as he comforted her.

"I am so beyond the happy to see you!" Starfire cried out to him, entangling her fingers in his ebony hair.

"Me too." He answered, holding her even tighter. When she let go of him, she looked at him, both of them not breaking eye contact.

Then the moment they both were wondering for years: what would happen when they see each other again was finally answered.

Robin grabbed underneath Starfire's chin, bringing her up to his lips. He gave her a kiss that was three years late, full of passion, sympathy, and love. She could feel her heart beat come alive. All this time of wondering if she had feelings for Val-Yor disappeared as she met her boy wonder's lips. She searched his mouth with her tongue softly, as he leaned her back against the bed. Her eyes were full of lust as she looked back up at him. His hair laid on her face as he smiled, reaching for her neckpiece. She gave him room to unclick the back of her uniform and toss it away.

Laying against the bed with an exposed chest, Robin took a deep breath in. Her strawberry scent was gone, but it was so good to be able to give in to his feelings instead of staying strong like a leader. He cupped her chest, lightly exploring the parts of her he have yet to see or touch before. As he began to kiss her breast she leaned back on the bed like she never could before. Completely calm, it almost felt like she was in a different timeline. She was full of euphoria. He reached for her skirt, slipping it off her tiny frame making her look even more frail. She covered herself, embarrassed of how boney she looked now.

"You're beautiful, Star." He spoke in his reassuring voice as she allowed him access. She sat up straight, massaging his muscular arms and playing with the locks of his hair. She then pushed him down, sliding on top of him as she slipped his pants off.

"I want you to finally make me your Star..." She spoke a bit embarrassed as his face turned a hot red. He sat her on top of him, she could feel his warmth filling up her entire body as he continued to love her in the way he always wanted to. When he was finished, he laid her back down on the covers as the pecked kisses to each other. They forgot where they were, it was as if time stopped. But the sound of his communicator going off snapped them back into reality as Starfire scurried for her items of clothing.

"Nightwing?! Where are you?! Did you find Star?" Cyborg called out as Nightwing wrestled to get his pants back on.

"Nightwing, huh?" Starfire spoke, a slight smile on her face. "I do like it."

"Call me Dick or Richard. My name is Richard Grayson." He replied to Starfire who's mouth dropped open.

"Kori Anders." She smiled back. "I do not mind if you call me Kori." As Dick was about to reply to the communicator he heard scratching against the cell door. He whipped out his bo staff to find Val-Yor at the door. In his hand he had a remote control and to his side stood a black short haired, pale girl, who looked like she seen better days.

"Betraying me, Starfire?" Val-Yor snickered. "I thought we had something special."

"Let me go, Val-Yor!" She cried out.

"You prick." Nightwing spat as Val-Yor laughed.

"Oh, spike! You look different, what a wonderful reunion. Too bad Starfire isn't all that she seems." He smiled as Nightwing looked over at Starfire, her face looked distraught, wondering what exactly Val-Yor was up to. "Watch this magic trick!" He pressed the button on the remote which sent off a bunch of electric currents out of the bands on Starfire's wrists.

Starfire let out a high pitched wail as Nightwing tried to desperately run over to her. The shock sent him flying back against the wall.

"I don't think you want to get that close to her." Val-Yor snickered as he backed away out of the doorway, shoving Selene into the small cell with them. As Nightwing looked up he saw an agitated Starfire squealing in her native tongue.

"Agh Backt Rutha mal rul!" She shouted as Selene went after her, kicking her in the face. Starfire hardly budged an inch from the kick instead Starfire reached out, grabbing Selene's throat in her palm. She brought her close as Selene gasped for air.

"Starfire, no!" Nightwing shouted out as he watched Starfire bite down on Selene's trachea. Selene began to scream, gurgles compiling her throat as blood began to choke her. Starfire bit her neck open, revealing blood to stain Starfire's mouth, her teeth. She then crushed her throat between her hands, dropping Selene to the floor like a ragdoll.

Nightwing looked absolutely horrified, he starred at Starfire like she was someone he never met before. Was this really the girl he always adored? She finally snapped out of it and when she did, she tasted the blood in her mouth. She gasped, looking down at the floor and screaming at the gory mess before her. She then looked over at Nightwing who had his back against the wall, staring at her in disbelief.

"Robin... I" She breathed as she could see he was frightened of her. She tried to step closer as he took a birdarang out from his pocket, holding it up for protection. "No... Robin..." She cried as Val-Yor opened the door. Nightwing glared his way.

"What did you do to Starfire?! This isn't Starfire!" He pointed at Starfire as she could feel her chest bubble up in pain. No... why, why did this happen? Val-Yor walked up to Starfire.

"You see, Princess. I would accept you anyway that you want to be. Grotesque, cute, silly, angry, mean... I needed to show Robin here who you truly are. Cause you aren't walking out on me, oh no. Not only do I love you... but you can call me obsessed with you..." Starfire's back was pressed against the wall as Nightwing stood there wondering what exactly was going on and what was an illusion or real.

I see you,
You see me,
Differently.
I see you,
You see me,
Differently.
You tell me that you love me,
But you never want to see me again.
