Tenzin got Oogi's head while Zuko and Bumi got on the saddle.
"You'll let Katara know?" Zuko asked Sokka.
"It'll be a surpise-" Sokka replied, but Zuko couldn't hear him because Oogi took off.
After take off, things got quite. Bumi started to whistle.
"So," said Bumi.
"Huh?" Zuko asked.
"Er, are you really marrying Mom?" Bumi asked.
"As long as she doesn't hate me, I hope to," said Zuko. Then he sighed.
"Hate you? Why would she?" Bumi asked.
"I don't think she does," said Tenzin.
"Really?" Zuko asked a little hopeful.
"She's just upset that you didn't invite your mother. Imagine if Izumi had run off and married," Tenzin replied.
"I'm glad she didn't. I guess I hadn't thought of it that way," said Zuko.
"What about Kiyi? Why didn't you invite her?" Bumi asked.
"She was really close with Izumi's mother. I think it would be hard for her to accept that I'm going to remarry," said Zuko.
"So you hid it from her? But you told us? Did you think Mom wouldn't find out?" Tenzin asked.
"Well, all we did was ask you to come since we had something important to tell you. Katara wanted Toph, Lin, and Suyin at the wedding. I only mentioned notifying Izumi. We didn't want too many people to know. Your uncle already knew. He knew before...Anyway, you're right, she would have found out," said Zuko, who sounded defeated.
"So where is Kiyi? Is she with Ursa?" Bumi asked.
"I'm not sure, but we will find out when we get there," said Zuko.
Hours later...
"Mom, Mom," Kiyi called running through the palace to the nursery.
"Quiet Kiyi," said Ursa. Iroh started to cry. Ursa picked Iroh up and cradled him. "What is it Kiyi?"
"Sorry, but I saw a sky bison," said Kiyi.
"Hmm, let's go see," said Ursa. She bundled Iroh up and walked out with Kiyi to see what the fuss was about.
Oogi landed, and Tenzin jumped down followed by Bumi and Zuko.
"Mom, it's good to see you," said Zuko, who hugged his mother.
"It's good to see you, too. But why are you here? I thought Izumi went to see you," said Ursa.
"Yeah, why are you here?" Kiyi asked.
"Why don't we go inside and I'll explain," Zuko suggested.
They went inside, and into a tea room.
"Shall we have some tea?" Zuko asked. Zuko motioned for the servants, who prepared the tea for them. Iroh started to fuss, and Zuko reached out for his grandson. Ursa reluctantly handed him over to Zuko, and Iroh calmed right down.
"So what's brought you here? How come Izumi isn't with you?" Ursa asked.
"I'm marrying again, and my wife to be wants you there," said Zuko.
"You're-You're..." Kiyi was speechless.
"I see. Who is she?" Ursa asked.
Before Zuko could respond, Bumi and Tenzin said, "It's our mother."
"Katara was upset that I wasn't there?" Ursa asked confused.
"She lost her mother when she was young," said Zuko.
"She's always been involved in our lives," said Bumi.
"She thought you would want to be included," said Tenzin.
"Izumi would like for you and Kiyi to be there as well," said Zuko.
"What about you? What do you want Zuko?" Kiyi asked.
"I would like it if you were both there," said Zuko.
"There's something else on your mind," said Ursa.
"Actually, there is," said Zuko.
Bumi yawned, followed by Tenzin and Kiyi.
"It's getting late. Follow me, and I'll show you to your rooms," said Kiyi.
Bumi and Tenzin followed Kiyi.
"So what's on your mind Zuko?" Ursa asked.
"It's about Azula" said Zuko. He paused for a moment. Then he continued, "I guess I just miss her."
"I see," said Ursa, "but Azula isn't the only thing on your mind is she?"
"No. I wonder if I'm doing the right thing, or if I'm turning into him," said Zuko. Zuko narrowed his eyes as he said him.
"You are nothing like your father. Izumi is proof of that," said Ursa confidently.
"I know, I know. But I feel like I pressured Katara into this marriage, and I'm worried about the future," said Zuko.
"Maybe you should talk to Katara about your concerns. I'm sure she'd understand. My marriage with your father was arranged and he was controlling. You weren't like that with your previous wife, were you?" Ursa asked.
"No, but it's different with Katara," said Zuko.
"Of course it's different. She's a different person," said Ursa frustrated.
Iroh started to fuss, and Zuko got up and walked to the nursery followed closely by Ursa.
"I guess that's why I'm so worried," Zuko said as he put Iroh down into his crib. "I feel like that sixteen year old kid who didn't know the difference between right and wrong when I'm with Katara."
"Do you love her?" Ursa asked.
Zuko thought for a moment, then he said, "Yes."
"Then you have nothing to worry about. I don't think your father was capable of love, but you are. I would be more than happy to see you marry again. I'm sure Kiyi would be too. Why don't we get some rest and talk more about it in the morning?" Ursa replied.
"Sounds great," said Zuko.
