Stefan drew open the closet door in one of the many room of the Mikaelson estate. Nothing. It took every inch of willpower not to groan in frustration. Elizabeth wasn't here.

He had search top and bottom for her, but either Klaus was very sneaky or Stefan hadn't search everywhere yet. His phone started buzzing and he almost didn't pick it up until he remembered that he had asked Sherriff Forbes to help him find Elizabeth, just in case Klaus had hid her somewhere on the outside.

"Hello?" he answered the phone.

"Stefan, its Liz. We found her." Liz lowered her voice.

Stefan perked up and gave a slow sigh of relief. "Really, Liz? Thank you, where is she?"

"In an empty well near the Lockwood estate, she was buried in a coffin just like you said," Liz frowned. "I rather not inform my colleagues of this so the sooner you can come pick her up the better."

"Got it, I'll be right there. Thanks Liz." So Klaus had dumped her body in the old well, the well that Mason once used to store the moonstone away from Katherine. When he finally reached the sight he saw Liz nervously pacing near the well. She pointed inside the well.

"I got this, Liz," he raised up a blood bag. "You might want to leave, I bet she's pretty hungry."

Liz gave him an ironic little smile as she left the property. It took Stefan only a few minutes to drag the coffin back upstairs. With a small creak he opened it. Elizabeth was inside and even though her skin was gray she looked to be asleep. He pulled the dagger out of her slowly.

Elizabeth gave a slow gasp and the color seemed to return to her face.

Her brown eyes flashed opened. "Stefan?" she whispered.

"Shh, shh, I'm right here." He whispered as she showed her the blood bag. Elizabeth's veins around her eyes started to appear. "Here drink this."

She snatched the bag from his hands and started drinking the warm, delicious blood until she got her coloring back. Finally satisfied she dropped the bag to the floor. She wiped a small amount of leftover blood from her chin. "That's better, thanks for. . ." she looked at her coffin and back to him. "Unwelling me, now where is my jerk of a brother?"

"Trapped in the Gilbert living room for a few days," he looked at her curiously. "What did you say that pissed him off enough to dagger you?"

Elizabeth couldn't help but smirk. "I told him the truth . . . though I may have gone too far."

"Hey," he pushed a piece of stray blond hair from her face, "Whatever you said doesn't mean he had the right to dagger you."

"Well, I'm here now. What have I missed in these glorious, how many days?"

"Two." He said as he searched for the right words. "Beth, I need to tell you something."

The playfulness hadn't left her face. "Tell me what?"

"Kol is dead, Elena and Jeremy killed him."

Elizabeth's features didn't register the news at first, she kept looking at Stefan as if wondering if he was joking. Her voice croaked when he didn't smile. "What?"

"I'm so sorry," he said as he hugged her. "But you have to understand that Elena and Jeremy didn't have a choice, Kol was going to kill them-"

"No, Stefan, Elena and the Gilbert boy did have a choice," she growled, trying not to let the tears spill down her face. "And they choose wrong, they killed my brother. I'm not going to just stand here and let her get away with it. I'm going to rip every one of her arteries until she's begging for mercy."

"Elizabeth." Stefan put both hands on her shoulders in an attempt to calm her down. "I know what Elena and Jeremy did was wrong and you have a right to be upset, but please don't do anything stupid."

Elizabeth ignored him. "Where's Klaus? I want to see Klaus."

"Undaggered already I see," was Klaus snarky reply as Elizabeth and Stefan entered the room. He looked at Stefan. "And this one is to blame I see."

"You look good in there, big brother," she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Ah, Elizabeth to what do I owe this displeasure? I thought for sure that once you were undaggered you would leave this place."

"I was," she said slowly. "But something came up and I have other plans."

Now it was Klaus' turn to smile. "Such as?"

Elizabeth looked over her shoulder as she said. "Revenge."

"Well, that went lovely," she said sarcastically as Stefan and her exited the Gilbert home. "I just wished he stay trap there for a decade or two and let everyone else have a little peace."

"If only Bonnie was strong enough," he paused for a moment. "Hey, do you want to get out of town?"

She looked at him quizzically. "That's an unStefanlike request, but sure I'm up for anything, what's the occasion?"

He shrugged. "Us. It's very rare that we're alone, I think it's time that we celebrate."

She raised an eyebrow impress. "Well, then impress me."

"What is this place?" she asked curiously as Stefan and Elizabeth entered the small town, two towns over. It had an old country vive to it and there were trees filled with apples. "It's really cute."

"This is one of my favorite little towns," Stefan grinned. "It's called Linings."

Elizabeth froze. Where had she heard that name before?

"Has it always had this name?"

Stefan nodded. "Pretty much. Are you ok?"

Linings, she remembered 1801. . .humanity switch off. . .blood. . .hundreds of bodies. . .mass murders. . .blood. . .screams. . .no pity.

"I need to go," she blurted out and without a second thought she speeded out of there.
