Sam and Charlie climb into her bright pink Volkswagen Bug and head to Charlie's favorite clothing store on the edge of town.

"Thank you for doing this Charlie. Gabe seems really committed to this 'date.' I just hope it's all worth it," Sam says.

Charlie smiles mischievously. "Oh it will definitely be worth it Sam."

Sam raises an eyebrow skeptically. "What do you know Charlie? First Luce, now you. What's going on tonight?"

"Sorry, you'll have to try harder than that. I ship you two hardcore and I'm not going to spoil this just because you are being impatient."

Sam lets out a low sigh. "I figured. Fine, I guess I have to wait until tonight."

Not long after, they arrive at the store. Charlie pulls Sam to the back where all the dress clothes are and says, "So, you need some fancy clothes for your date tonight, but not a tux, that's too fancy. Hmmm."

"Fancy but not a tux? Where the hell is he taking me?" Sam asks incredulously.

"Somewhere nice. Now shush and let me work my magic," she replies as she grabs a few button-up shirts. Sam sighs and follows her around the store. She grabs a few pairs of pants before sending Sam to the dressing rooms. He tries on each outfit and Charlie decides none of them work for their date. So she sends him back in with a new pile of clothes. As he is trying them on, she texts Gabriel.

'What are you wearing 2nite? I need to dress Sam to match'

Within seconds her phone buzzes with his reply. 'Black button-up with dark jeans'

'Oooh perfect. Thx love' she responds before putting her phone away. She quickly runs around the store to find the perfect outfit. Minutes later she comes back with a dark green dress shirt and some dark slacks. She knocks on the changing room door then throws the clothes over.

"What the hell Charlie?" he asks.

"Sorry! Gotta go find a tie. That's what you are wearing. It will look great on you and it'll go perfect with Gabriel's outfit."

By the time Charlie comes back with a black and silver tie, Sam is standing outside the changing room. She stops in her tracks. "Oh wow. You look amazing. If only I wasn't gay," she says with a long sigh.

Sam makes a face at her. "This feels so weird," he says while tugging on his clothes.

She swats his hands away. "Stop tugging, you'll ruin them. Now, go change so we can pay and you can get some rest before the date."

He sighs and goes to take the clothes off. A minute later they are done paying and walking out to Charlie's car. They listen to music as Charlie drives him home. As she pulls into his driveway she says, "Don't stress about this Sam. You're going to have so much fun tonight."

Sam smiles at her and grabs his bags of clothes. "Thanks Charlie. I hope it goes well." She smiles back at him and drives off.

A/N: Oh my gosh guys. It's been so long since I've updated. I hope y'all don't hate me. This chapter was just so difficult to write. Anyways, I know it's short but I had to get this out of the way so I can work on the actual date. I hope y'all enjoy it. Also, I should know by now that I never meet deadlines I set for myself. But life has been hectic. I had a job for about 8 months, I quit about three weeks ago. I had to start taking meds for my depression and anxiety. And I had to go to therapy for about four months. But I'm happy to say that I'm done with therapy and my meds have helped me so much. I know I haven't talked about it on here but I'm engaged. I have been for a year and 4 months now. He is the most amazing guy ever. I wish y'all could meet him. Anyways, I'll update as soon as I can. Life is busy between school and track. Love y'all. Enjoy. :)
