I am so sorry about this horribly late update! I'm horrible at this! Sorry it's not long either, I kinda lost inspiration to write. Hopefully I'll start updating again more regularly! Well here's another chapter! I love you guys!
Dean and Cas are basically joined at the hip for the rest of the school day, except for when they have different classes and at lunch when Cas declines Dean's invitation for Cas and his friends to come sit at his table with Jo and the others.
At the end of the day, Dean walks Cas to his car, the two of them talking about their favorite genres of music. Cas prefers a more modern classical style of music, while Dean talks about how classic rock is the only music worth listening to in the world. They each defend their music preference the whole way to Cas' mustang.
"Dean, you didn't have to walk me to my car, you're going to be late for detention."
"It's totally worth it." Dean smiles in a way that makes Cas want to invade Dean's personal space, even more than normal, to kiss him until neither of them could breathe. "Besides, detention is ran by Alistair this week, and he's one of the few teachers at this school who actually likes me, so I'll be fine."
Cas nods as he puts his books in his car before turning around and facing Dean again. At the same time, both their gazes move to the others lips before they meet each other's eyes. Around them the world seems to slow and doesn't come back into focus until the sound of a bell can be heard from the school, sounding the beginning of detention. They quickly realize how close they've gotten. Dean's hand is threaded through Cas' pink hair and Cas' hands rest on Dean's hips. They're faces are with centimeters of each other, and neither of them move closer as they hold each other's gaze.
Just as Dean is about to remove the distance between their mouths, Cas breaks eye contact and steps back. "Have fun in detention, Dean, and I'll see you tomorrow."
"Uh, yeah. I'll see you tomorrow." Dean walks away before stopping and turning around. "And Cas? You make that pink hair work for you, so don't let anyone tell you different." With that said, Dean heads back towards the school. Cas watches Dean leave, a happy smile on his face. Once Dean walks inside the school, Cas climbs into his car and drives home, the smile never leaving his face and the worry about the plan never leaving his mind.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the two of them follow the same routine. Dean walks Cas to all his classes and they sit at their separate tables for lunch. Then after school Dean walks Cas to his car before heading back inside for detention.
On Wednesday, instead of going home after detention, Dean rushes to the locker room to change for winter training. Training starts an hour after school and detention goes for two hours after school. So by the time Dean got to the weight room, he was over an hour late to training.
Dean runs into the weight room to see the rest of the baseball players, new and old, finishing up their workouts.
"Nice of you to join us, Winchester." Bobby Singer looks over at Dean from where he's showing some new freshman how to do some exercises.
"Sorry, Bo- Coach. I had detention."
"And you expect to be captain this year? Never going to happen, Winchester." Raphael smirks from where he's spotting Uriel.
"Shut the hell up, Novak."
"Why don't you make me?"
"Winchester! Go hit the track and do a mile; Novak, shut up." Bobby shoots them both irritated glances and they do as he says. Raphael returns to spotting Uriel while Dean heads outside and to the track.
Eight or so minutes later, Dean heads inside the weight room to see the players have already hit the showers, leaving Bobby and Raphael alone in the weight room shouting at each other.
"No way in hell, coach!"
"Try again, Novak. I will not have my best pitcher and first baseman fighting again this season. You'll do this, or you can say goodbye to your chance at captain this year."
Dean is about to sneak back out of the room when Bobby catches sight of him.
"Good, Dean, you're back. I was just telling Raphael how he'll be doing your workouts with you until you're done with detention."
"Wait, what? Coach-" Bobby shoots Dean a look that has him stopping mid-sentence.
"No arguments on this. You two need to learn to get along. So for the next few weeks, you two will be staying an hour after everyone else and Raphael, you'll show Dean what we did and you'll spot him. And if I hear that you two don't get anything done because of you're fighting, you both can say goodbye to captain. Now both of you idjits hit the showers." Bobby heads out of the weight room without another word, leaving both boys pissed and speechless. They glare at each other for what seems like minutes before they both silently head out of the weight room and into the locker room with the other players.
