A/N: I'm a despicable person aren't I? I left forever... Even though I said I wouldn't abandon this for so long. Sorry guys...

A red wolf ran past men clad in white. They all held guns, and wore gas masks over their faces. The canine raced through the maze of pale corridors, listening, keeping her ears keen to the sounds of the outside world. They would lead her to the exit, and she could leave this hell. Her paws slapped the floor, her muscles straining to keep the speed she wanted. Her heart was pounding against her chest, echoing in her ears. "Subject Six! Please cease your escape attempt! It's useless!" A deep voice said, her brown eyes flickered behind her. Catching sight of a large man, with a thick build and a grim face. He had honey colored hair that was swept back away from his face with gel. His eyes were a piercing violet, that dug into her soul.
She pushed herself to run faster, to get away from that man, her hunter. He was one of her kind, and yet, he hunted her, wanted to kill her. He wanted blood, that man wanted her to run, and knew she would. He wanted a reason to hunt her, a reason to chase after her restlessly. A reason to kill her.
"Toboe?" Brown eyes snapped open, and gazed up into golden ones, "You okay?" She looked around, her breath was coming out in short, ragged bursts. She realized everyone was staring at her, five sets of eyes burning holes into her.
"Y-yeah. I'm, fine." Her rested her head into her hands, trying to calm her breathing. They had stopped for a break a half hour ago, and as soon as Toboe had stopped running, she had passed out. But during her nap, she had started whining and twitching in her sleep. Tsume had shook her shoulder to wake her, and when she did there was a look of terror in her eyes. The look of prey, being hunted.
"You sure? You're shaking a bit." Hige pointed out, he had his arm draped around Blue's waist, while in turn her head was rested on his shoulder.
"Hige's right. What's with you're nightmares, you cry out a lot in your sleep." Leala pointed out, she was sitting by Kiba, but there was quite a bit of space between them.
"I said I'm fine. There's nothing to worry about." Toboe sighed, she rubbed her eyes with the heels of her hands, and looked up at Tsume. He had a look of worry on his face, he didn't believe her, not a bit.
"Toboe, is there something your not telling us?" He asked, furrowing his eyebrows. She didn't answer him, but instead averted her gaze else where, staring out into the open, wintry, bare land. "Is there something?" He insisted, pressing the question.
"I- There is a chance I am being hunted..." She mumbled, her voice lower than a whisper.
"Hunted?" Blue's ears perked up at that, "What do you mean?"
"Back when we were in the city, and I took us to see my brother. I assume it was him who had been following us." She explained.
"Him?" They all spoke in unison.
"Yes, his name is Renaldo Moon, and he's been on my tail for a good three years now. But I thought he had given up, since I hadn't had any encounters with him in six months." Toboe looked at her hands.
"Well, why is he hunting you?" Hige question.
"I-..." She stopped, "Can't tell you that."
"For what reason?" Kiba made his voice known.
"Because, the more you know, the more you'll get wrapped up in it. You guys don't need to know, you'll be better off with out it." She clenched her hands into fists.
"Toboe, we want to know. We worry because we're your friends. If its your burden, then let us share it. Yeah?" Hige's eyes were filled with concern and worry, as were Blue's and Tsume's. Leala's were confused, and Kiba just stared at her, without much expression.
"Can't you see I'm trying to protect you?! Don't go running into danger so blindly! Do you know what could happen to you! Do you!? Do you have any idea what would happen if people knew who I was!?" She screamed out, her nails drawing blood from her palms, "We would be hunted down, you would all be killed and I would get dragged back to the hell hole I escaped from!"
"Toboe! Calm down!" Tsume put his hands on her shoulders but she jerked away from him, her form trembling in anger and fear.
"I don't want you to die, and I don't want to go back. Therefore I will not tell you." She said with a shaky voice, "I won't tell you... I definitely will not tell you..."
The silence was awkward at first, but they gradually grew into it. They had all started on their journey, running their paws off and braving the weather. Toboe had stuck to the back, as usual, with her trusty hero by her side. But they didn't speak or look at each other for that matter. Tsume would glance at her, catching the sadness swirling around in her eyes, as well as the speckles of fear.
"I know you don't want to talk about it, but even if it's just a little but, to get off your chest. I listen." He offered quietly. He saw her tense for a moment, but she then gave him a sideways look and sighed.
"My name in this world is Tomoe Hanamiya, the daughter Daisuke and Rie Hanamiya, the owner and CEO of a company that produces mass amounts of weaponry and pharmaceutical drugs. That company is called Savior." She stopped and looked at her golden eyed friend, who appeared a little shocked.
"Savior? You're serious? That company has products everywhere, I don't think there's a person out there who doesn't know the name Savior." He said with surprise.
"When I was young, I remember being around lots of other wolves, along with my elder brother. We all use to play together, but one day, my parents had ripped us away from that, and took us to the city where they made a living off of Savior. When I was old enough I told them about you guys and Paradise, and that's when everything went down hill." Toboe dropped the subject, and refused to speak anything else about it. But her load felt a little lighter.
"Thanks, I know you don't want to talk about it. But I appreciate you telling me even a little bit." He smiled a bit, and Toboe met his eyes for a moment.
"What about you? I know you gave me a brief summary, but nothing exclusive." She turned her eyes back to the pack running ahead of her, noticing that they had all started a conversation on something about food and well, food.
"My name is Tsuneo Hirogawa. I have rich parents, but I think I told you that already. I worked back alley deals with some gangs, and when my parents noticed money disappearing they started to question my absences. Eventually I was found out and they basically kicked me out of my house, that's when I started stealing. After that, I created my own gang, and when my parents heard what had happened they practically dragged me back. But that didn't really change anything, I still ran with my gang, took theft to whole new levels and, almost beat people to death. I was bad news, I'm pretty sure my name spreads terror back in my home town." Tsume had sad eyes, kind of like he regretted everything, "But when I remembered, I tried to straighten up, and start looking for you guys, but that didn't happen. So I left."
"Oh..." Was all she could manage to say. Toboe didn't have any response to that, it wasn't like she was surprised, but rather that he cared to show how sad he was about losing everyone. But she also knew, that he was different this time. Just like her and everyone else. Kiba was colder, Blue was less aloof and wasn't attached to anyone but us this time. Hige, well, He was pretty much the only one who didn't change, other than the fact that he's not some secretly brainwashed traitor. Then there was Leala, whom was a knew face, and yet, had started following us, even after we had left her pack's territory. She was different than us, a big stranger, a variable Toboe didn't know what to do with.
A sudden bang off in the distance made her jump, and a searing pain in her side made her trip over her own paws and fall, tumbling through the snow until she stopped. Everyone stopped dead and looked back to see her struggling to sit up. She had reverted to her to human form, her left hand was clench over a bleeding wound on her right side. "Toboe!" They all called and rushed to her. But all stopped when they saw a black and white wolf with orange eyes walking towards her. His aura was threatening, as was his large appearance.
Toboe glared at him, her eyes filled with anger, and agony. Blood seeped out between her fingers, but she didn't seem to notice it to much at the moment. "Renaldo..." She spat with a burning hatred.
"It's been awhile hasn't it? Finally found you're little wolf friends? I didn't think they really existed. But that doesn't really matter now does it?" His voice was deep and smooth, "Tomoe?"
A/N: Well there it is, there it is indeed...
Toboe: What do you mean? We haven't been here since Christmas and what do you go and do? Spill my secrets and get me shot by that damned stalker of mine?! What the hell Kira!?
Kira: Hey now, I had to hook the readers back in somehow did't I?
Toboe: And you thought injuring me is a good way to go?
Kira: Yes, since you already have that terrible bite in your shoulder. I figured I'd give you something else.
Toboe: You're so mean...
Kira: Yeah yeah, anyway, review if you please. I know I probably don't deserve any, but I love hearing from you all!
