A/N: I figured from this point on it would better that this story be told in third person. Sorry for the long wait. I know its short, but the story should start to pick up from here. The next one will be the start of the Victory Tour
A man with lightly tanned skin and chocolate brown was making his way towards the open door carrying another man on his shoulder who looked like he was about to kill him.
"Calm down, Lovi." The man, who must have been Antonio since no one else was around, chuckled lightly as he finally set 'Lovi' down. He was then immediately pushed away.
"I've told you a million times not to call me that!" He glared at him as his face went red before turning to them. "I'm guessing you're the new nation everyone's been talking about."
She stuck her hand out. "Penelope. Penelope Lockwood, nation of Panem."
"Lovino Vargas." He took her hand and shook it. "Hey bastard, you never mentioned her age. This one's growing fast." This last part was directed towards Alfred who shrugged.
"I figured we'd just tell you when you all got here. Besides you've got a lot coming at you." Alfred replied.
"That reminds me, where is she?" He looked passed her and into the living room. Penelope moved over to the side to let them in the apartment. Quickly, she shut the door behind them.
"If you mean Rosa, she's in back with the others." Once the last words were out of her mouth, he and Antonio took off down the hallway, stopping just out of sight of them.
". . . it's been too damn long. She's going to kill you for not telling her, then she'll kill me for not telling her and then somehow that crazy ragazza will bring us both back and kill us again." Lovino glanced in the room she was in, then back to Antonio.
"Relax. I'll do all the talking. She's not going to get mad." Antonio told him. He looked in himself and saw that she had noticed he was there. Lovino had ducked into the room next to him, staying out of her sight range. Rosa ran out of the room and hugged Antonio tightly.
"You've gotten old." She laughed looking up at him.
"And you're still short." He kissed the top of her head. "It's been a long time since I've seen you, mi amiga."
"I know." Rosa smiled. "You have to tell me everything that's happened since we left. How's Lovino? Is he awake yet?"
"Actually that's what I wanted to talk to you about first." Antonio spoke hesitantly. Her eyes widened in worry.
"He's doing good, right? Nothing else happened to him or Feliciano?" Rosa's voice was filled with worry.
"Relax, he's fine. They both are. I brought something for you." Rosa looked behind him to see Lovino standing there. The others had come to watch and were crowding the small doorway. Rosa's face went from surprised, to angry and back again.
"It's good to see you." Lovino smiled hesitantly. It was silent for a few moments. The first sound that came was the slap. Then a shove and a punch.
"I cannot believe you!" With every word she yelled came another punch. "I worried about you for over 74 years! And I got nothing! " Her attention then turned to Antonio. "And you!" She glared up at him, her expression livid. "All those letters and you never even told me he was alright?"
"He's just started to walk around again, don't break him!" Antonio got in between them and managed to stop Rosa from attacking. She then pushed past him and hugged Lovino tightly.
"I've missed you."
