A young man, somewhere in his late teens presumably, with blonde hair, a shield, sword and some armour, was exploring the forests of this area. Leaves falling onto him occasionally, the wind blowing in his face, and some faint chirping of birds can be heard. The young man looked curiously around him, before settling down on a rock, enlightened by the sun that got through the leaves and branches of the trees.
His mind focused on a few things. Mostly on his family of nine, excluding him. How he would play with his seven sisters all day long, with snowballs hitting them, skiis flying left and right. The innocence of youth...
How he would train with his father during his early teen years to be able to defend himself from any dangers that he might face one day. How he would need to suppress his emotions as to attempt to intimidate an enemy to avoid combat that is avoidable, and to be able to show empathy to those whom deserve it, and apathy to those who have ruined their planet. The latter of the two he did not try to learn, but it mattered not for now. His train of thoughts has however been disturbed by a thump near him. He determined that it was a tree falling, but who or what would make the tree fall? He quickly got up from his sitting position, and started running towards the sound of the falling tree, to investigate. Yet, before he arrived, some thirty meters away from the place, he heard a loud screech. A loud, unholy screech of pain that not even the ugliest of creatures could make. No, for that would not make sense. It can't be human, nor can it be the Grimm he heard about from his father.
Upon reaching the area, he is met with the sight of three corpses of some sort of animals, with blue all over them, save for a few spots of white, terribly disfigured. And amidst them all, an astoundingly beautiful woman somewhere his age, walking away from the three lifeless creatures. He didn't want to disturb her, yet he had to act quick, warn her.
"Behind you!"
He yelled, and the woman turned around, with a spear in hand, looking around her as to see who called her out. She is quick to identify the warning's intent, and throws a spear into one of the creatures which had just barely gotten back on its three legs. It lets out a screech similar to the one he had heard. But, instead of dropping to the floor like a ragdoll, its frontal area had exploded, most likely due to a flechette being struck by the spear, and detonating seconds after. The spear flew back a little, and landed near the feet of the woman. She had went to pick it up, and once she did, her emerald green eyes met with the blonde man's crystal blue eyes.
"Thank you, for the warning."
"Oh, it's no problem. My name's Jaune, by the way. Yours?"
"Oh, it's Pyrrha. Pyrrha Nikos. It's nice to meet you Jaune. I just wish it was under better circumstances, hehe."
"Yeah, if it only was. Soo, what's a lady like you doing out here killing... whatever they are?"
"Well, this was more of an unfortunate accident. I was on my way to City 12, actually."
"Uh huh. Wait, how would you get in? Don't they have like, high walls, tons of security and patrols?"
"Well, Jaune, every wall has its cracks."
The two look awkwardly at one another for a moment or two, before Jaune comments on her bruises. He offers help, however, Pyrrha would very much politely refuse. Jaune's determination to help her, in any way he can, is undying, much to the dismay, but ultimately to the aid of Pyrrha. He knows a family not too far from here, and says that they'd be happy to have her over, at least until she is in tip top shape again.
"All Overwatch units, multiple confirmed de-serviced Hunters near your 10-20 reported. Probe with discretion."
"Copy that. Requesting preliminary Airwatch findings, over."
"Negative. Airwatch is preoccupied with Control Section 13 and Outland Holding Complex Zeta. Probe immediately."
"Copy that. All units, stay sharp and move in. Out"
An emergency patrol team of about 15 Overwatch Soldiers, eleven equipped with the MP-7, with a built-in grenade launcher, with a decently sized clip of 45 bullets, approximately 12mm, and the other four equipped with the AR-2, a primarily Dark Energy based weapon, having a unique pulse canister reloading system, fully automated, unknown bullet caliber, and a secondary weapon of unknown purpose, were en-route to the location of where there were confirmed reports of Hunters killed. It took them approximately twelve minutes to arrive, and by the time they had arrived, whomever was there previously had left. They set to determine who was the likely attacker, as one of the soldiers, from one of the many little military pouches he has, digs out a small device with a monitor on it. Sticking a wire into the backside of the Hunter, specifically the antenna-like thing behind the front, the soldier begins rewinding the last moments of the Hunter's life, and begins broadcasting to Command as soon as he stops.
"Overwatch, run facial recognition scans from all urban locations. If no match is found, requesting Anticitizen status, number 172."
"Facial recognition scan complete. Identity: Pyrrha Nikos, 18, City 8. Anticitizen status, number 172, granted."
"Copy that, Overwatch. Designate Anticizen 172 as Kilo Oscar Storm, for patrol convenience. And uh, requesting beta units for improved patrol strength, over."
"Request denied. Beta unit deployment is under Advisorial Juridstiction. No plans for beta unit deployment have been mentioned, over."
"Copy that. Continuing patrol, will report as soon as non-citizen activity is noticed, over."
"Understood. Vacate premises momentarily. Vaccinating area in T-Minus 3 minutes."
