"What am I doing?" Emil asked himself. When the math-class was finished, he began to search after the boy with the bent curl. The problem is that it's a big school and so far, he didn't have any luck with finding him. "I'm looking after a boy I barely know."
He was beginning to doubt if this was a good idea. The only thing he knew about the boy is his name (though he had to use a moment to recall it) and after a little observation he had during the class, he also learned how the boy looked like.
He wished it was so simple to find this boy.
He was starting to forget why he was even trying to look after the other boy in the first place.
"What are you looking after?" he heard someone asked him. Emil turned around to see it was his friend Li Xiao. "Well, I was going to search after someone but now it doesn't seem important anymore." Emil said to him.
"You were looking after that boy with the brown hair and bent curl, right?"
Emil looked surprised at him. "Wait, how did you know?"
"I notice how you had been looking at him during the math-class. There must have been something interesting on him since you nearly pay more attention to him than the lesson."
"Oh right." the silver-haired teenager remembered why he was searching after the boy. "There was one thing I was a bit curious about him and I just want to confirm it."
"Okay, if you say so." Li Xiao gave his friend a small smirk. "I don't blame you for looking at him. He is quite cute."
Emil looked astonished at him. "Wha-what are you saying?!" he couldn't tell if the Asian boy was just joking or not. Was he really into boys? Or was he just trying to mess with his head?
"I was just giving out my opinion. There is nothing wrong about it."
Emil decided not to question too much on his friend's possibly sexuality. "I...I have to go now. See you later." he said and left as quickly as he could. It's not like he's against homosexuality, it's just really unexpected – not to mention awkward – to hear your friend, who happens to be a boy, says that another boy is cute.
The silver-haired boy continued to look around. "Where could he be? He cannot just disappear so quickly...could he?" he still doesn't have any luck with finding the other boy. He was ready to give up when he caught a glimpse of someone.
There he was. The one he was looking for. The boy with the bent curl. He finally found him.
Now he just needed to approach him. All he have to do is go over to him and ask him a question. It's really simple.
The only problem is he isn't sure how he should approach the other boy. He couldn't just go to him and ask him randomly 'are you related to my brothers' friend?'. He barely knew him, it would just be weird...
It seemed to he just finished talking with someone. Emil figured this could be the good time to talk to him. He walked to him. He was getting closer and closer to him. Just a few steps more...
"Um, excuse me." he tapped on his shoulder. Marcello turned around to see him. "Oh hi. You're that boy who was in the hurry." he could clearly recognize him. "Emil, wasn't it?"
And he could clearly remember his name too – well, so did Emil but it took him a moment before he could remember it entirely.
Emil nodded. "Yes, it's me."
Marcello smiled at him. "So, is there something you want?" he asked him. Emil paused for a moment. He needed to think his question through. It shouldn't get weird, you know. "It's just that...you remind me a bit of someone. See, I have a brother and he have a friend who is an Italian. Just like you, he have brown hair and a curl – though it wasn't bent as yours." Emil tried to explain.
"Oh, you must mean Feliciano, right?"
The silver-haired teenager nodded. "Yes, him. I know this may sound silly but I wondered if you happen to know him."
"Know him? We're brothers."
Brothers? Well, he was kinda expecting of they must have been related in some way.
"Wait a minute, is Lukas your brother?" Marcello questioned him, his green eyes full of curiosity. Emil nodded. "Really? Hey, what do you know?" Marcello grinned. "I've once met your brother."
"You had?"
"Sì, we met in the park. He was out for a walk and so was I. It was pretty early."
"Oh, I see." he ran out of the subjects. He have no idea of what to say.
"Hey Emil." Marcello began, looking like he wanted to say something. "I know we barely know each other but do you think you can do something for me?" he asked him.
"Like what?"
"If you see your brother, can you tell him that I've said 'hi'?"
"Of course." Emil replied. Suddenly the bell are ringing. "We better go now to our classes before we gets late." he told the other boy. The young Italian nodded in agreement. They both walked to their own classroom.
So, they are brothers? It seems to I've gotten the answer I needed.
Translation:
Sì - Yes(Italian)
Sorry if the chapter didn't seem to be interesting, I just wanted to put a bit more interaction between Emil and Marcello. At least, Emil got the answer to his own question.
And there might be some implied Hong Kong/Seborga. I've seen some fanfics of them as a couple and I must say that they sound cute together X3
I hope you still enjoyed the chapter.
