Now I hate to burst everyone's bubble but this chapter has been shortened. I haven't been getting any reviews…so I don't know if what I'm writing is even worth it because I don't have the motivation. So if more people will review then I'll go back to making the chapters 3-4,000 even 5,000 characters long. I need reviews guys and I'm so very thankful to the ones who are because you made this chapter happen but if I don't get the motivation to continue this story it wont be good. So please review and tell me what you think! Thanks!

I don't own the 100

Bellamy felt his dreams cease into almost a dark orange. It didn't take long for him to realize he was staring into his eyelids. His eyes cracked open; his eyesight was blurry but they focused in pretty quick. His neck…hurt he guessed. It seemed every time he tried to lift his fallen head up a sharp pain went through his neck.

He heard footsteps that made his neck straighten up on its own causing him to give a silent scream and hold the area that hurt.

Clarke walked over to him and kneeled in front of him. "Morning. You fell asleep after me and let the rabbit burn."

He winced slightly and looked at the charcoaled rabbit by the fire. The stick holding it up already long gone with only two slim stubs supporting the fact that a stick was actually there.

"Well uh…I was tired. Sorry." She shook her head and stood up from her crouching position. He took the moment to look around since it was daylight and found that they were in a pretty good size cave. He felt the drops of moisture from the hot springs near him on his forehead slide down his face causing it to tickle. He wiped the sweat from his cheek and unknowingly blocked a bag aimed for him. He looked at it with wide eyes and looked up to Clarke who was standing with her own bag.

"What the hell was that for?" He asked. Clarke shouldered her bag and took a glance to the entrance of the cave.

"We're leaving. You're friends and some of my people were taken by Mountain men. So we're going to see our sister tribe and ask for help. Now hurry up, it's a couple days to get there and we can't waste time." Clarke said. She spun around and started to head off.

Bellamy twisted his body and stood, clutching his neck when he moved his head wrong because of the crick. He didn't expect them to just up and leave so fast, he thought they would have sat down and discussed a plan or at least talked. He knew Clarke was going through a rough time and he thought she would want to talk about it…obviously not.

He shouldered his bag and caught up to her as they walked out of the cave. He glanced at her stony face that just continued to look forward. He felt awkward at the moment, which was new to him, he felt like their roles were reversed. Wasn't she the one supposed to try and make conversation while he had a stony face?

It's not possible but he could feel the tension around them and was tempted to just walk behind her with the amount of -he didn't even know what to call it- that she was emitting. Maybe she wasn't emitting any emotion, maybe that was the problem. He hoped not, he'd rather have an emotional Clarke than a non-emotional one.

"Are you going to continue staring off into the distance or are you going to answer?" Clarke asked. He looked at her with a raised eyebrow but cringed when his neck gave a sharp jab.

Clarkes eye's drifted to his neck and her eyes narrowed slightly. "What's wrong with your neck?" She asked.

He rubbed the spot, trying to get rid of the pain. "I slept wrong I guess, must've developed a crick." Her eyes went to the ground for a second before turning back in front of her.

Bellamy grimaced at the almost conversation. Well they obviously weren't going anywhere if Clarke started the conversation.

"So where's your bow and arrow?" He asked. She looked at him through the corner of her eye.

"The string on my bow broke and I couldn't fix it so I left the arrows in the cave, not like I could use them without the bow." She said shrugging.

He nodded as he absentmindedly rubbed the sore area on his neck. She looked back up to him and sighed slightly.

"Does your neck still hurt?" His eyes widened slightly and he looked down at her. Did she just sigh? Was he that troublesome?

"Yea…it does." He said. His voice came out cautiously as he answered; to him she was a rollercoaster of little to no emotion…if that made sense.

"Do you want me to rub it?" Her voice came out flat lined. Literally no emotion was thrown into that sentence and it kinda made him mad. Why wouldn't she tell him what was going on?

So of course his voice came out a bit sharper than he meant it to. "No, I don't."

Her eyes narrowed and she frowned at him before picking up her pace. "Fine." She snapped. He winced. Well, at least he got some sort of emotion out of her. Seemed like he had a lot of work to do.

It was dark and it was cold. He could almost see his breath in front of him. Without the hot springs in that cave at night the temperature dropped dramatically from last night. But Clarke was over there in almost short sleeves acting like it was nothing and he had a long sleeve shirt and a jacket on and was almost close to shivering to death.

By a beam of moonlight he saw that she had goose bumps on her arm. So she was cold. So he did what he thought he should do and shed his coat. He caught up to her in two leaps and lightly put the coat on her shoulders. She jumped slightly but didn't object the offering. He wasn't expecting a thank you at the moment because of how she was acting so he just went back to his original place behind her.

He did though catch a glimpse of her small hand tug the jacket closer and that brought a small to his face. He had to take baby steps, but he would get the old Clarke back, he owed her that much.

They walked for another hour he guessed before Clark stopped in front of him. His eyes scanned the dark tree's wondering why they had stopped so suddenly.

"Why'd we stop?" He murmured to her. He watched her tug the jacket to her tighter as she spoke.

"We need to stop for the night and rest. I don't see a cave or anything so we'll have to stop right here." Her gaze went to the ground as she examined it.

He felt it coming, his stomach tightening and then suddenly it let out a growl. He scowled down at his stomach, he didn't even feel that hungry. Clarke gazed at him with a small smile and he almost leapt with joy at the fact that he got her to show emotion.

"I guess you're hungry. If you can get a small fire set up I can go out and get something to eat?" She asked. He tilted his head to the side in confusion.

"But you don't have your bow and arrows." She nodded and pulled out a small knife from her boot.

"I'm not just efficient with a bow you know." He smirked at her and sat down on a stump.

"Never thought you were princess." He waited for her to say something but he just heard her retreating footsteps into the woods and frowned. What did he do now?

Clarke immediately left after he said that. For one she didn't know what to say, what could she have said? And second…well she really didn't have a second but she felt something when he said that. Almost like a butterfly feeling and so even though he couldn't see the blush coating her face she still had to get out of there.

She was starting to get a headache as she stepped silently through the woods. There were so many emotions going through her that none seemed to surface. Her father's death was a big thing on her mind. She didn't want to cry, crying wouldn't bring him back but she couldn't help the tears that blurred her vision.

She furiously wiped them away. She thought about talking to Bellamy about it, it felt nice when he comforted her last night but she was embarrassed. She felt stupid for feeling embarrassed but dammit, it felt more intimate and loving then when they were in the bunker.

She sighed as she climbed a tree partially and waited for some unlucky animal to pass by. One never did. She was frustrated and was about to lose her patients when a bird over her head chirped. She felt a little debris fall into her hair causing her to glance up. She could barley make out a nest in the moonlight and would have missed it if the bird hadn't of 'spoke'.

She pulled herself up from the tree limb and grabbed the nest. She felt the tug of the bird fly off the nest before she brought the nest down to her face. To her delight, there were three little blue eggs in the nest. She carefully grabbed them and put the nest back before slowly climbing down the tree. She hoped Bellamy liked eggs because that's what he was getting.

He had made the fire. He had somehow lit the fire. And now he was waiting, which he had been doing for quite awhile now. He stood up from the stump and paced, to jumpy to sit. He thought about thinking of the situation and about this 'sister tribe' but he didn't want to think. For once he wanted to just let go and it seemed like Clarke had everything under control so why should he worry?

He heard cracking of twigs and leaves and tensed up a bit before Clarke came into view. She had leaves and dirt in her hair and he finally realized her hair was down instead of its normal two braids on the sides….it looked good. He felt he should compliment her…maybe get another emotional flip out of her.

"Your hair looks good down, you should wear it like that more often." He said almost nonchalantly as he studied her reaction. Her eyes widened slightly and he saw her blush just a little…but that was good enough for him.

She rubbed her face and scowled for no reason as she went and sat by the fire. "Get me a flat rock." She snapped. Bellamy grimaced and held his hands up in mock surrender.

"Sorry it was just a compliment." He reassured her incase she misinterpreted it. He sighed and started looking around for a flat rock.

She bit the inside of her cheek. She was still aggravated from earlier trying to catch something to eat so she didn't mean to snap. She did let a small smile cross her face after thinking about it. He complimented her, after how mean and distanced she's been with him he was still being nice and sweet.

The only time he had really been sweet was when they were in the bunker. It seemed so long ago when that happened and she wanted to go back but with her emotions jumbled up and all the problems she had to face, she was having a hard time with her feelings. She didn't even know if he still liked her or not.

A hand with a flat rock in front of her face caught her attention and she followed the arm up to the owner. Bellamy stood above her and waved the flat rock around slightly.

"Can the princess not grab it or do I have to do everything?" He slightly joked. She tried to not show any emotions as she took the rock from his hand. She felt compelled to say a small thank you when his face slightly dropped and when she spoke she could see him instantly light up. She sighed internally as she set the rock in the middle of the fire. She needed to talk to someone. Keeping everything to her self really wasn't working. So as the rock heated up she decided to get everything off her chest, maybe she would feel better.

"I'm sorry," Bellamy's head lifted up quickly and he only slightly winced, seemed he still had a slight crick in his neck. "I haven't…exactly been kind to you and you've done nothing but be nice to me over our time out here." Bellamy just stayed silent but nodded slightly, as if to say go on and it's ok at the same time.

"My emotions have just been…a wreck so far. With my dad dying by my hand, the people I have grown up with burned to death, my sister being shot, the mountain men," She paused to rub her head. "I just can't seem to think clearly."

Bellamy nodded and froze for a second in thought before standing up and moving beside her.

"No need to apologize princess. I know things have been hard on you but I'm used to the bubbly girl I met at the bridge along with the serious girl who saved me and the 100. I'm not really used to being the one trying to make another, err, happy." He admitted. Clarke smiled slightly into the fire as things went quiet. She felt better now. Now he knew what was going on and he understood.

Bellamy moved slightly beside her to get comfortable and grunted. "Ok I can't wait, what's the rock over the fire for?" Clarke let yet another smile pass her lips as she pulled out three blue eggs. Bellamy eyes them as she cracked them onto the rock. Only after a moment did they start to sizzle.

"Are those eggs?" Bellamy asked. Clarke nodded and looked at him quizzically.

"Haven't you had eggs before?" She asked. He shook his head as he watched the cooking eggs.

"No, the time I was born was when they stopped having animals on the ark, including farm life. That meant the chickens had to go and with them went the eggs." He said sadly. Clarke bit her lip.

"Well you really missed out." Bellamy nodded slowly.

"This reminds me of a movie…Shrek I think it was called. I used to watch it with Octavia when she was little. There was a scene in it like this where they cooked the eggs on a rock…but that was a movie. Are you sure this will work?" He asked. Clarke shrugged slightly.

"I don't know, I've never done it like this before, it seemed like a good idea at the time," She paused as she looked at the eggs. "But now that you mention it…maybe this wasn't the best idea." She admitted. How were the going to get the rock off the fire? And what about the eggs? Wouldn't they stick? She wanted to groan and curl up into a ball. How had she not thought of this?

"I ruined our food, I'm sorry Bell." Her shoulders slumped slightly. It seemed like she messed up everything and her emotionally damaged state, she believed that. She couldn't save her sister, she couldn't save her people or the 100, she couldn't save her father, and now she can't even save the cooking eggs.

Bellamy glanced over to her. This Clarke was so different from the one who practically demanded that he and the 100 leave for their safety. She looked so defeated, he wasn't used to that. He took his bag and laid it at the base of his back to get comfy as he leaned up against the tree.

"It's ok Clark, don't beat yourself up about it. I can wait till morning to get something." She didn't move and her expression didn't change as she stared into the fire.

"Clarke, give it a rest. You staring at the burning eggs aren't going to make them better." He tried harder. She still didn't move. So he leaned up and wrapped his arm around her, grabbing her shoulder and pulled her down with him. She grunted as she hit his side when he hit the tree.

"Just go to sleep Clarke, like I said, its fine." He murmured. She wanted to protest, tell him it wasn't fine, but her eyelids drooped threateningly, telling her just how tired she actually was.

"Thank you Bell…for everything." She said lazily. He smiled slightly and hummed.

"Anything for you princess."

That was short, sweet, and to the point. Now I better get some reviews people and I don't mean just a couple. You guys owe me from not getting barley any reviews over the last chapters. I'm on my knees here. Anyways, I hoped you enjoyed it and hopefully I'll be sending out the next chapter soon! Thanks!
