Chikay's blah: I finished YuuSora's one shot. Shirai's still in the making, I am so sorry! I'll have it done before valentines. I'm having a block.
This chapter isn't juicy. Just information chapter about Claude and Alois. Don't worry, next chapter will be fun, and I'm thinking smut for the chapter after that. In this story, although most came for Sebastian and Ciel, I'll add Claude and Alois in a few chapters. Why? That's how a normal story goes. It can't just revolve around the main characters, you got to have cameo.
Cotton Candy Sweet- YuuSora's one shot. There, if you're craving for smut and fluff, check it out. Sebastian and shota Ciel there!
Reviewers last chap, you know who you are! I love everyone, and I'm mentioning you next chapter, where it gets better.
New followers, thank you!
I have no valentine, but a review is as good as a kiss from Sebby :)
Enjoy!
The air was chilly and melancholic, as the twinkling stars entertained profound thoughts within his confused head. The dark mane was still wet from a cold shower, and fingers absentmindedly tap at the cigarette stick he held lovingly; a picture of an ordinary evening in Claude Faustus's perspective.
He inhaled the spicy nicotine with close eyes, his naked body shifting at the divan beside his window just so he can comfortably rest on the soft furniture. He picked up the nasty habit of smoking from New York, back in the days when he juggle Candy and Whip, Funtom Corporation and Blithe Acme all while trying to earn a degree in Trestine Academy. It helped him relax, helped him organize his thoughts while the frenzy of all his business problems occupy his consciousness. Marlboro was a good friend.
So why the hell aren't you helping right now? The butt was crushed quite harshly on the stainless ashtray, his lips expelling the smoke while he massaged his temples. Why can't I just let it all out?
His father, now making an appearance to dump his business matters on his hands, bribed him with an impressive monetary inheritance (ha! As if I need that!) should he accept. Augustine Michaelis is now an official threat to what was left of the man's free time, a great way to get to know the sperm donor responsible for bringing him to this hellish world. He wasn't keen on having Sebastian as his brother either, the bastard responsible for changing his sweet, sweet Ciel into a perverted monster who now preferred the company of an equally maniacal endorser. In all his achievements as a businessman despite his lack of studies, he wasn't content with what he have.
It was better in the good old days. Me trotting around the school grounds carrying tons of books while Ciel followed like a duckling. Yes, way better.
I think I need a shot of Bailey's.
It's crazy how lonely he is, given that he virtually has no pressing problems as of now. All of his businesses thrived wonderfully with little assistance, no health problems, no whiny woman to give him a migraine, and his father's offer can easily be turned down. No, nothing should make him jittery right now.
It was the fact that he's alone that bothers him.
Isn't it great if I have a special someone whom I can share everything with? A person to laugh with, to cry with, and to live with. That would be nice...
By all means, Claude is a handsome man (a bit creepy sometimes, but we all have our moments). So no, it isn't finding a woman or man that he's having trouble with.
It's the fact that his candidate is not showing any interest in dating him.
It's because we're friends, isn't it?
The sweet fluid of Irish creme slid easily through his throat, but the slightly bitter aftertaste made an impact enough to make him frown.
He must be thinking how disgusting I am, how repelling it is to even give your childhood friend a shot in love.
A creaking sound made him whip his head towards the door, the stoic expression on his face remained as Alois sauntered slowly towards his direction, bare feet moving soundlessly against the carpet and body clothed in a surprisingly decent pajamas. Uninvited, he perched on the divan beside him, a dark look striking a half hearted glare at the ashtray.
"You do know your breath will stink if you keep that up, don't cha?"
"You do know I don't give a fuck," the ravenette skeptically chuckled, tempted to smoke another just to piss Alois off.
"Chatty, aren't we? Hope you're the same rude you when Cierru's around." A sculpted eyebrow was raised, with the blonde stifling a yawn and failing miserably.
"What do you want?" So I can dispatch you already.
"Are you on the list? If so then place my order."
The shot glass was slammed on the wide windowsill, and Claude mumbled through gritted teeth. "You have your ass pounded by Ciel. What more can you ask for?"
"Oh, nothing much. How about the man I loved for 3 years? But of course, I can't have him!" The writer snapped as his blue eyes narrowed at the placid male yawning with an eye roll.
"Coz he's too busy looking at someone else, isn't he?"
"For the 56th time, Alois; read my fucking lips. I. Am. Not. Interested. Get the hint. I don't even like you as a person, let alone someone to date!"
Gracefully standing up to go to his bed, Claude left his burning fag on the ashtray. The mattress bounced as he smothered his apple green sheets, Grecian nose inhaling the lavender scented fabrics with delight. No, he didn't care as Alois marched angrily towards him. Not even as the cotton was pulled quite harshly from his grasp by the fair-haired male in a demand for his attention.
"I don't get it Claude," the raspy voice started dramatically, earning a raised brow from the nicotine high ravenette. "You're still chasing Ciel? And ignoring me?! What does he have that I don't? He's the same as me!
We are both wasted!"
"Now you stop right there, you bitch." The calm topaz gleamed with a disgusted look as he scanned Alois from head to toe, and seeing a bipolar whore in a pajamas, he shot back.
"Ciel is different. He was led astray, he was broken hearted, he was tainted. You are filth itself, Alley. It's partly your fault that Ciel became like that. So don't dare compare yourself to Ciel." the statement was emphasized by a loopsided sneer, enjoying the shock that registered the younger one's features.
The sky blue orbs widened, tears now threatening to fall from their sockets as disbelief spread all over the deceivingly angelic face. Alois didn't anticipated that answer, for the reason that Claude never hit below the belt.
Only this time.
Plak!
His left cheek burned with a stinging sensation, face turned to the side from the impact of the unexpected slap that he received. A smirk made its way to his lips, stretching to a full blown grin when he met those teary eyes again, this time with a heightening disdain.
"Do you have any idea what I've been through? The hell I've plunged deep within, only to survived scarred?" the hush whisper did not affect Faustus the slightest, nor the sincere pain that accompanied it.
"Frankly, my dear... Who the fuck cares? Certainly not me. Now can you please leave my room before I throw you out of my house?"
A mad dash and the door slammed shut, leaving Claude in his lonesome. Just the way he liked it.
Fucking drama. Fucking porn writer. Stupid life...
His mind wandered back into space, back to how Sebastian can be so cruel to Ciel.
How can someone be so blunt in breaking a person's heart?
Not once thinking how his own words shattered a hope of requited love.

"So, did anything happen between you and Alois?"
Silverware clanked noisily in Ciel's hands as he cut through a piece of bacon, eyes warily looking at Claude with distaste. "He stayed over at Ash's place last night."
"Nothing much," he answered with a resigned tone. The coffee was splashed with a dash of cream before he took a sip again. There, tastes perfect.
"Don't fuck with me Claude. I know you hate Alois, but he's my best friend too. He wouldn't leave at 12 midnight just because."
Rolling his eyes, the ravenette suppressed the urge to smack his head on the table. "Ciel, this is the first meal that we shared after not seeing each other in a while. Honestly speaking, this should be the first time we talk heart to heart without Alois chiming in. We never talk like friends anymore."
"You are swerving the question around. I was asking what happened with Alois."
"Who knows?" Claude flailed his arms dramatically as he vacated his chair noisily, the furniture's legs squeaked loudly with his harsh treatment. "Who cares?"
"I care, Claude," Ciel followed him to the living room, his tea cup at hand and a frown on his face as he continued. "Alois is suicidal. You know he likes you, and I know how harsh you can be with words. You must've said something stupid."
"Why don't you ask me what he said first?"
"Don't change the topic here!"
Tea cup smashed on a nearby wall as Ciel marched towards him dangerously, a feral glow in his eyes as he grabbed Claude by his pajama collar.
"I told him the truth. You're not the same as him, Ciel. You might like the same things, sometimes even act the same, but you aren't like that." with a gentle pressure, he pushed the younger male away. It's painful like this.
The only thing he had with Ciel was friendship.
And even in that retrospective, he's nothing but second place.
Second place to that filth, nonetheless.
"You insist with hanging out with that filth, but can't you see Ciel? What you are-" he gestured to the bluenette's person while shaking his head. "That's not you. You've changed because of Sebastian, and being with Alois won't help you bring back yourself."
"Ppfffhh... haha... hahah!"
Yes, Ciel. This isn't you.
Bring back the angel that I love.
Who is this monster?
Claude eyed curiously as a stifled chuckle erupted from the other's throat. The laugh escalated slowly, until it became a full blown hysteria.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA! Seriously Claude? This is not me?" Ciel motioned up and down towards himself as tears welled from the corners of his malice-filled eyes. "This is me. This is the new and improved Ciel version 2.0. This is the new me!"
With that, Ciel flipped his hair and walked away from a flabbergasted Claude while swaying his hips. "You don't like it? Then sucks to be you."
Claude sank into the couch, feeling like all his energy left on a vacation in Singapore. It was when he's contemplating whether or not he'll have a cigarette did Ciel reappear, now fully dressed with camouflage skinny pants, leather boots and black T-shirt.
"By the way, Claude. Alois wasn't always like that. He was raped by his guardian after his parents die and all his inheritance was squandered by the pervert. His brother died in front of his eyes while being raped, and the reason why he's always afraid of the dark is because he was frequently blindfolded by his abuser."
Ciel smirked at Claude's gaping expression while he casually stated Alois's past like he was talking about the weather.
"No, Claude. I'm not like Alois. He's more fucked up and his life is a bigger piece of shit. The time he told me this, I almost said "Nice plot" until I noticed he was scratching his arm the whole time until it bled. I got lucky, right Claude? I had you."
Ciel walked towards Claude and planted a kiss on his cheek. "For that, I'll always be grateful."
He ran to the door, leaving Claude with his internal debate and disbelief.

The sun was annoyingly cheerful as Ciel Phantomhive, now late on his first subject, ran past the windows while squinting his eyes. Greeting the teacher with an informal 'hi', he ran towards Alois who was unusually decent in his jeans and T-shirt.
"The dirt." he whispered, ignoring Mrs. Blitz glare.
"He was huge."
Ciel faked a gasping sound and scooted closer beside his friend. "Any good?"
Alois giggled. "Needs a few training, but hey, beggars can be choosers."
"So," Ciel mumbled. The boring topic on angles and formulas was uninteresting compared to thee blonde's sex life. "what about Claude?"
Sky blue eyes dimmed, and with a blank face, Alois replied.
"I'm giving up on him. I've done everything I can, and he doesn't even know me yet but he called me filthy. What if he knows about my trauma? He might even kick me out of Candy and Whip."
"No bloody way I'd let that happen." Ciel gave a comforting tap on his shoulder and sighed. "Yeah, you're right."
Alois will kill me if he finds out that I told Claude. In Ciel's defense, he just wanted to get Claude's sympathy. Apparently, except with him, Claude is a pretty cold bastard to everyone else.
"Hey Ciel, don't get offended. But why don't you give Sebastian a real chance?"
The bluenette glared at him. The pencil he used to doodle broke under Ciel's touch, and with a hiss, he said:
"No fucking way."
Alois smiled, before looking over his shoulder to watch if anyone can hear.
"Good. Coz you know Ciel, Claude and Sebastian are half brothers."
"WHAT?!"
"Mr Trancy, Mr Phantomhive! Kindly pay attention!"

Sebastian smoothed his very formal suit and tie, a frown creasing his brows as Izaya started to chase the end of his tailcoat with a paw.
"No, Izaya! Bad!" he picked up the cat and placed its graceful body on his bed.
Of all the ideas his father had, this was probably the stupidest of them all.
I can't even see Ciel today. He sighed in frustration, totally unaware that Izaya was smothering his black suit with its equally black fur.
"Tomorrow, you and your brother are going on a date with the daughters of my business associate. I want you to consider either of them for marriage-"
"Dad! I am in a relationship!" Sebastian shouted in indignation as Claude seemed to look equally pissed.
"Oh?" the man raised a brow haughtily as he eyed Sebastian with scrutiny. "Then introduce your lover to me. I have prepared a series of dates for the both of you. Claude doesn't seem to be in a relationship, and what kind of a person would like to date you?"
"I don't believe I agreed to this."
"A measly date, Claude, Sebastian. Eat your fill and head out. Nod while the girls talk. It's not that hard."
"I am seeing someone as well," Claude declared in a firm tone.
"Is that so?" Augustine smirked evilly, very much like the way Sebastian do on an evil plan. "Then I would love to see those beautiful women, or is it men? A family dinner would be perfect, no? Or else, I'd be organizing more dates for the both of you. I would want to see you too get married as soon as possible, with tiny grandchildren running around."
Sebastian gave the cat a kiss before running to the door, his mind internally cursing the fact that he'll have to see Claude again.
Sometimes, dad have a fucked up way of trying to get to know his children better.
