A/N: Let's just say that this chapter is about 8 years after the first chapter. I know it's a huge time gap and I left out a lot, but I will be writing flashbacks upon requests if you want, just ask lol. Anyways, things to know: Tenzin is 39, Lin is 38, Jinora is 8, Ikki and Mushi are 6, Meelo is 4, and Lin is pregnant with twins again (I won't be writing their deliveries so just imagine Meelo and the next twin's birth to be the same as the previous chapter).

Chapter 10

6:00am

Tenzin began to sit up as he rubbed his eyes. Spirits, I hate waking up so early while Lin gets to sleep in… He looked at his peaceful wife who laid right next to him. She looked relax and it was the only time she has been in a while. Meelo was still pretty young and was much of a handful. With her being pregnant again he insisted that she would skip morning meditation with the others.

Just when he was about to go to the meditation pavilion, Lin grabbed his wrist. "Can I go with you guys this time?" Lin was never a morning person, but she started to open to the Airbender's traditions. "I actually miss meditating and I hate staying in bed without you…"

Tenzin kissed his wife's forehead, "Just this one time, but remember Katara said to take it easy, even if it's meditating, even moving a bit is a lot for the twins."

Lin rubbed her stomach, she couldn't help but agree with her husband and his mother. "Okay, then you have to wake up all the kids."

On his way out of the room, Lin began to slowly get out of bed and put the proper clothes and took a bathroom break. I hate this small bladder.

Although Mushi was an earthbender he enjoyed his father's culture. He was a very serious kid, and enjoyed meditation more than Ikki and Meelo. Even if he preferred to do the airbending activities with his father, he also enjoyed the fun with his mother. Lin was proud that he was becoming a strong earthbender just like her and her mother.

6:30am

Before they sat down to meditate, both parents kissed their kids good morning. Even though they were all tired they all sat in a straight line as Lin and Tenzin sat right in front of them.

Tenzin started to close his eyes, "Okay kids, you know what to do." He then faced Ikki and Meelo, eyes still closed, "I hope you two do not go back to sleep." Lin opened one of her eyes to look at her husband and smirked. Typical Tenzin.

This morning was one of the rare sessions in which each and everyone of them were at peace and had no disturbances. With having such young kids, both Lin and Tenzin appreciated the mornings it was quiet. They also enjoyed when they did things as a family, especially with Lin and Tenzin growing up with opposite cultures.

7:30am

Lin was walking towards the bathroom when she came across Ikki and Meelo messing around. "IKKI, MEELO, STOP THAT RIGHT NOW!"

The two laughed on their air scooters, they were racing back to the house after meditating.

With the help of Jinora and Mushi, the two grab ahold of the other two and walked to the house together.

When Lin was down with the bathroom she walked up to Jinora and Mushi "Thank you, you two. I've been having trouble lately."

Without any eye contact, they automatically responded together. "No problem, mom."

As Lin's pregnancy went along, Jinora and Mushi began to take responsibility for Ikki and Meelo. Even though Mushi was Ikki's twin, he and Jinora bonded quicker and had a closer connection. Mushi and Ikki were the complete opposite. Both Jinora and Mushi were always quiet, serious, and calm-headed. Ikki and Meelo, however, were talkative, hyper, and very stubborn. It was unusual but either way their parents loved them no matter what. And they were used to it.

Lin walked away to find her other two children. "Ikki. Meelo. We need to talk." The two knew it was a serious talk and they sat in front of her.

She kneeled down and held their shoulders, "I know you two have a lot of energy, but you know mommy is pregnant, right?" They nodded. "Okay, well your Gran Gran told me to take it easy, but the only way I can do that is if you two calm down a little. Is that okay with you two?" Both Ikki and Meelo looked guilty and tried avoiding eye contact with their mother. "I'm not mad with you two, but can you two help me out here?" She lowered herself so that they can see her smile.

The two looked up and smiled back. "Yes, mommy!" "We're sorry!"

"Don't worry about it, you guys are my little badgermoles and air bisons. I will never be mad at any of you guys, okay?" Lin stood up and looked at the time. "Everyone wash up then go to the diner room, it's time for breakfast."

They all stood up and made their way to the bathroom while Lin got her husband. "Those two are crazy, but they are so darn adorable."

Tenzin laughed. "You always say that, Lin."

"I know, but I still can't believe how happy I am. This feels like a dream."

Tenzin held her hand as they walked to the dining room. "It's because our dream has finally come true."

8:00am

All the kids were already sitting at their normal spots when Lin and Tenzin came inside.

"Ew, mommy and daddy are holding hands!"

Jinora looked at her youngest sibling, "Meelo, it's a normal thing to do when you love someone."

Meelo was still confused. "Is that why mommy holds my hand when we go out?"

Tenzin couldn't help but laugh. "Yes, son, that is why your mother holds your hand"

The whole family then ate their vegetarian breakfast. As Lin and Mushi were the only earthbenders, they had an option on whether or not they would eat meat during a certain meal. With Lin being pregnant again, however, she thought it'd be a good idea to eat vegetarian dishes until she could realize what type of bender their children were. Additionally, Mushi didn't want to be the only one in the family to eat meat so he agreed that until his mother's pregnancy was over, he wouldn't eat meat.

9:00am

Since Lin was pregnant again, their children's rooms had to move once again. While Lin and Tenzin's room were at the far end, their child closest to them was Meelo since he was the youngest. Jinora, therefore, was the farthest, followed by Mushi then Ikki.

Lin pouted. "This is going to be a long day."

"Don't worry, we're going to work as a family." Tenzin had a small smirk on his face. "And I don't want you to overwork yourself so I'm going to be doing most of the work."

"Great, and I thought I was the dominate one." Lin walked into Meelo's room as Tenzin followed her.

It took a while but Tenzin finally realized what she said. "Wait, what?!"

"Nothing, Tenz, let's just start so we can get done earlier."

With that, Lin assigned everyone a job. Each of their children had to pack their clothes and toys into a few boxes so it would be easier to move things around. When everyone was done, Tenzin moved their boxes into their new rooms so that they could arrange their room themselves. Lin, however, had to stay with Meelo as she knew that if she didn't, he would just dump his things onto the floor and abandon his room.

11:45am

When it was almost lunch time, Lin and Tenzin looked at the progress of each of their kids.

"Good job, kiddos, all your rooms look clean and organized. I'm proud." She smiled at each of them and called for a group hug. "How about you guys change into some outside clothes so we can eat lunch in the city?"

Everyone cheered. Lin never really liked leaving the island with all of her kids since it was a risk for her family, but she wanted to treat them out. It's been months since they went to the city as a family and it was about time that they did so.

12:15pm

Lin walked towards the pier and saw that all of her kids were messing with their father. "Kids, stop bothering your father." She kissed Tenzin's cheek. "You're welcome."

Tenzin wiped off the dust that Meelo airbended onto his robes. "Thank you, honey. They're always like this when you're gone."

"Oh, I know. Why do you think I always leave them with you?" Lin laughed hysterically.

Just then the family walked onto the ferry and went inside. Most of them hated travelling by the ferry but Oogi was too tired so it was their only choice.

12:30pm

Once the ferry hit the dock of Republic City, everyone rushed off to get onto solid ground. They felt sick and they had to all sit down for a while.

Lin glared at Tenzin, "I hate that your family just had to live on a freaking island." Her pregnancy made her seasickness even worse and it was annoying.

He sighed, "If you don't remember, your mother is the one who decided to spar with my father. Those two were really at it because together they moved that island there."

"Daddy, is that really what happened? How old was Grandpa Aang? Did he cheat? I think Grandma Toph was stronger than Grandpa Aang. Am I right?"

Everyone but Tenzin laughed. Tenzin groaned. "Yes. 36. No. I don't know."

"Ikki, don't bother your father so much. Okay, well lets grab some lunch then we'll go shopping. Does that sound okay with you kids?" They all smiled. "I guess that is a yes."

6:00pm

Lin and Tenzin always wanted to treat their children with equal care and treatment. They never wanted any of them to feel out of place or anything. So after they ate out for lunch, the family went shopping for each of the kids. Meelo was first to decide and all he wanted was to get some toys. Ikki got new clothes and dolls. Mushi and Jinora decided both decided they wanted to get new books that neither Lin and Tenzin didn't have already. When the two were done at the bookstore, Ikki came up to her mother. "Mommy, are we going home now, I'm tired!"

Lin raised her eyebrow. "I never expected that coming from you, Ikki, but yes, honey." She grabbed Meelo's hand, "Let's go home. We can all eat dinner then get ready to bed."

7:00pm

Lin was currently in the kitchen cooking for her family. She normally didn't cook for the family unless she had a good day. When Lin and Tenzin first got married, Katara taught her to cook vegetable stew. After a few years, she finally made what seemed to be better version of the stew. Tenzin loved it and so did their kids.

"Jinora, can you tell your siblings that dinner is ready?" She nodded. "Thank you, honey."

As the kids began to sit down, Lin placed their food in front of them. Next to their stew were mashed potatoes and corn.

Mushi was the first to eat, "Mmmm! I feel like each time you make this, it's getting better!"

"Ha, I knew it!" Lin grinned. "Well you all eat up. When you're done, place your dishes into the sink then shower. Your father and I will go to each of your rooms like always."

They all continued to eat. Mushi was the first to finish followed by Jinora, then Ikki, then Meelo.

When the two parents were finished, they went to the kitchen. "This was delicious, Lin. Thank you for making dinner." He gave her a peck on the cheek.

"Thanks, Airhead. Do you mind washing the dishes, I just need to lay down."

"Of course, sweetie. We'll go to the kids at 8:30, I'll get you then." He hugged her before she went to the living room.

Lin is such a loving mother.

8:30pm

Tenzin finally got done with cleaning up when it was time to wake up his wife. "Sweetie, it's 8:30."

Lin groaned, "Ugh, okay. Let's say good night to everyone."

9:30pm

Within the hour, Lin and Tenzin said good night to each of their children and got ready for bed themselves. They have gotten older and Lin's pregnancy has definitely been tiring for the two of them. They were tired and all they wanted to do was sleep so as soon as they could, they got into bed.

Lin began piling blankets all over her body. "Ugh, I'm so tired."

She heard him chuckle, "I know, I am, too."

"We're getting old." She pouted.

He smirked, "I know, but we're happy."

His words put a huge smile on her face. "We are happy. I love you."

He kissed her passionately, "I love you too, Lin. I love you so much."

She moved onto his bare chest and got comfortable, "Sweet dreams, Tenz."

He moved his arm around his wife, "Sweet dreams, Lin."

Right when he kissed her forehead, the two fell asleep peacefully in each other's hold as usual. It was a routine and they definitely got used to their hectic family. It was just a normal day.

A/N: These chapters are getting longer and I keep getting lazy, I'm sorry... Anyways, if you have any questions just ask, I'll answer privately or as an A/N. I tried to keep things the same but /sigh/. Oh well, I hope this chapter was okay?
