Here it is! Chloe's POV from after she arrives up to the almost rape. I hope you like it.

~M

Derek brought my suitcase into our room and I started rummaging through it. Finding my bikini, I waited until Derek left the room before changing into it. I quickly changed and walked out to where Derek was.

He ran his eyes up and down my body, assessing, with admiring eyes. "You look amazing beautiful," he said.

I could feel my cheeks blaze red at that. "Thank you. Tori bought me this suit," I told him.

He gave a small smile at that. "Remind me to thank Tori."

I giggled. Him and Tori still weren't on the greatest terms, but they were growing on each other. Then I pulled my cover up over my swimsuit and we headed for the beach.

The closer we got, the more I could see. Tori waved Simon over, probably telling him that I was here, and he sprinted over with another guy. They said a few things that I couldn't hear, but apparently Derek could with his werewolf hearing.

Derek growled and I looked up at him, a question on my face. It took him a minute to answer, but when he did, he looked down at me and said, "I just heard Simon's new friend, Chris, say he's interested in you."

Chris, Simon, and Tori finally made their way up to us and said their hellos. Derek looked a little antsy and I wondered what that was about. He stopped with the antsy-ness after I introduced myself. "Hi, I'm Chloe. Derek's girlfriend. And you are?" I said, holding out a hand.

"Chris. Nice to meet you," he said, shaking my outstretched hand.

We wandered the rest of the way to the beach, and stayed there the rest of the day. I stayed with Derek. We swam mostly, and also laid on the beach. About 7:00, Mr. Bae came back and told us he was taking us to dinner, asking Chris if he wanted to come. He agreed hastily, shooting a smile my way. I unnoticeably shivered at that. He had been staring at me all day, and it made me uncomfortable.

We went back to our houses and changed into clean clothes versus our bathing suits. Then Kit drove us to this amazing Italian restaurant and we ate. Chris was still ogling me there. Can you say creeper?

After we got back, Derek and I excused ourselves to our own little house. We cuddled on the couch, talking. And soon, that cuddling became kissing and then things got a little deeper. I ended pulling off Derek's shirt, and Derek's hands slipped under mine, exploring.

It went on for a little for a little while, then Derek pulled back. "Chloe, are you sure you want to do this?" he asked me. I was out of breath so I just nodded. He pulled me into another deep kiss and picked me up bridal style, carrying me to the bedroom.

It didn't take long and our clothes were off. He stared at me and I instantly thought something was wrong with the way I looked. "You have a beautiful body," he whispered to me, causing a scarlet blush upon my cheeks. I kissed him, needing this, and there were no flaws in that moment.

Nothing was there to bother us. No one was there to bother us.

I am so lucky.

And I was. In my 16 years, I was kissing one of the greatest guys I ever met. He was mine and all mine.

I woke up to see Derek already awake, and gave him a huge smile. "What a beautiful smile," Derek said.

That was so sweet. I just pounced on him, saying, "Thank you!"

Derek looked startled. "Thanks for what?" he asked. "I didn't say anything."

"Yes, you did. You said, 'What a beautiful smile,'" I said, confused.

Derek's face brightened. "Chloe! Dad said this would happen, but I didn't believe him at first. We can read each other's minds now!" he said, obviously enjoyed.

"Really? Can you hear me?" I thought towards him.

"Yes, I can hear you. Can you hear me?" he though back.

"Yes! This is so cool!"

I stood, pulling Derek's t-shirt over my naked body. I winced at the movement, it causing a little pain. Derek rushed to my side, worriedly. He checked over my whole body before calming some, but not a lot.

"What's wrong?" he asked, the worry clear as day.

"Nothing. Just sore from last night. It's nothing I can't handle, though. It was worth it," I told him and laughed. He laughed, too and gave me a deep, long kiss.

Derek broke the kiss after a few minutes, and took my hand, heading for the living room where our phones lay. Part of our morning routine was to check our phones in case anything happened to Mr. Bae or Aunt Lauren that we needed to know about. I'm guessing that's what he was taking me to do.

I checked mine and had one text message from Tori. As I read it, Derek waltzed up behind me and wrapped him arms around my waist, laying his chin on my shoulder to read it with me.

"Tori says, 'do you and wolf-boy want 2 go out 2 bfast w/ us?'" I told Derek, giving a roll of my eyes where Tori put wolf-boy. "What do you want to do, Der?"

"Whatever you want to do is fine," he said.

I quickly typed back to Tori.

When & Where?

After a minute, Tori responded with:

10 minutes my dad left to see a client in town but he left us the name of this really good local diner & some money

I responded with:

Can us give us 20 mins? We just got up- have to shower

And of course, an insult came with the reply.

Lazy bums! It's 10:30 already! But ok 20 mins.

I turned to Derek. "You can take a shower first," I said.

"Okay, I'll be quick. Thanks," Derek responded, giving me a quick kiss.

Shortly after Derek left, he was done and I entered the shower. The warm water pounded my muscles, relieving some of the pain I had. I took about five to ten minutes for my shower and walked out with just a towel around my body.

A few images of last night flashed in my head from none only than Derek, for he was grinning mischievously.

"We don't have time now, Der. Don't get excited. I just forgot to bring my clothes in the bathroom with me," I said in my head. This whole-read-each-other's-minds thing is awesome. He could get in trouble just by his thoughts now.

He left right after I said that and I got dressed. I put on a pair of white sailor style pants and a simple navy blue tank top paired with a pair of flip flops that matched. My phone went off, alerting me of a message. I heard Derek growl and he thought some hateful stuff about Chris. I didn't mind because he creped me out.

But Derek's jealousy got me a little worried, so I told him in my head, "No need to be jealous. I'm all yours. I'm just his new girl obsession of the week," as I walked out to the living room.

Derek gave me a quick kiss after checking me out, and took my hand as we stepped out the door to head to Tori's place. When we got there, we let ourselves in to find Chris, Simon, and Tori in the living room going over maps of the area.

Tori noticed out entranced and huffed, "Finally! We thought you'd never arrive! Come on, we're all hungry. Let's eat!" She jumped up as she said that and gave me an excited hug. It was a bit to tight. I winced. Then I felt Derek's hand rub soothing circles on the small of my back.

"What's the matter?" Tori asked. "Are you hurt?"

"I'm fine," I responded. "Clumsy me. I fell in the shower so now my whole body hurts."

Holy crap. I just lied with out stuttering. Where the fuck did that come from?

I checked Derek's mind, and, apparently, he was shocked, too. He removed his hand and I was instantly disappointed. It felt good and he just stopped.

Derek started rubbing again and asked Tori how we were getting to the diner. "Since Dad took the rental car, we're walking. It's only, like, two minutes away. And we figured how to get there before you guys came," Tori said.

We waltzed out the door, Chris flanking me and flirting. I tried all I could to ignore him, but that was way to hard when he was talking right in my ear. Derek flanked my other side and took my hand in his.

"Hey, Chlo. Why do you always wear this weird necklace thing?" Chris asked, messing with my amulet.

"Please, don't call me 'Chlo.' And my mother got it for me," I said, annoyed, but not letting that show. I was filled with sorrow once more. I missed my mom. She was a constant in my life until she died. So, I just said it simply, not letting any emotion show.

"Oh. Where is your mom? She stay home?" Chris asked.

"No. She died when I was little." I felt like I wanted to break down, but I couldn't do that in front of everyone. I missed her so much.

Derek put his arm around my shoulders, pulling me close. I wrapped one arm around his waist and uttered a 'thank you' in my mind, smiling up at him. His presence did so much to comfort me and make me feel safe. It was like home. Warm, safe, comfortable. Just like his strong arms when they were wrapped around me.

We got to the restaurant and were seated at a booth. I was in the middle with Derek and Chris on either side and Simon and Tori on their other sides. We ordered our food and drinks when Chris decided he had an announcement.

"Okay, guys. So I have some exciting news!" he cheered. "My parents invited all of you to spend a few days with us at our house. We have a pool and basketball courts, so there's lots to do. And the beach is only a two minute walk. And my dad left me our boat for the day. Anyone up for a boat ride?"

Chris tried casually placing his arm over my shoulder, but stopped suddenly. I'm guessing Derek… Then Derek growled. It was low sound deep in his throat. I started rubbing his leg in comfort to calm him down. He usually didn't growl when he wasn't a wolf…

I jumped slightly when I heard Simon speak. "I'm up for it. Sounds cool," he said. "What about you guys?"

Tori eagerly agreed, wanting to go. Now it was my turn to decide. I really, really didn't want to go. Chris made me uncomfortable. His creeper like way towards me… My hesitation must have showed on my face because Tori piped up. "Oh, come on, Chloe. You know you wanna go. Don't leave me alone with two annoying guys. Pleaseeeee," she begged me with a whining tone.

She hit a sweet spot there. She had become my best girl friend. I would feel bad leaving her with them. My decision was made. I was going.

Before I could voice my answer, Derek's thoughts rummaged with my own. They were of last night and how, with them gone, we could do such again. I wanted so badly to experience that pleasure again and say yes to him, but this trip was to spend time with everyone. I needed to spend some time with Simon and Tori, too. Ugh… Conflicts…

"Fine. I'll go," I said, my voice monotone.

"Yeah! So it's agreed, we'll all go. This is exciting!" Tori chimed.

We finished breakfast and were walking back to the houses, when Chris decided to open his annoying mouth again. "So you guys should wear your swimsuits, since we can go swimming off the boat. And you might as well pack what you need for when you come stay at my house, since we'll be leaving to my house directly from the boat," he piped. We agreed and decided to meet in a half hour, when we got back and parted ways.

Once Derek and I were inside, I told Derek I'd pack our stuff. "Is it okay if we pack both our things in one bag? Since it's only three days, we won't need the extra bag to lug around," I voiced.

"Okay. Sound like a good idea," he responded.

"I'll pack your stuff, if you don't mind. It'll save us some time."

"You don't have to do that. I can pack my own bag."

"Yes, but I like packing you things. It makes me feel like a normal girlfriend for once."

Derek kissed me and told me 'thank you' with his thoughts. I then turned and walked off to the bedroom to pack. I added a couple pairs of intimates for me and Derek, then added pants and shirts for Derek. A dress and a pair of shorts and slacks for me. Along with blouses to go with them.

I then left the room with our now packed bag and we headed out to meet everyone. With everyone having their stuff ready, we threw them into the trunk of Chris's car and hopped in. He drove us to his boat and loaded our bags on the boat when we got to it.

"Are you sure it's okay to be on a boat? The weather predicted some beg storms," Derek pointed out, gesturing to the darkening sky.

Chris being his preppy self, responded, "Yeah, we should be fine. We should be back on land before the storm hits."

We loaded onto the boat and were approximately 15 minutes into the ride, when the waters started getting rapid. It started worrying me.

"Don't you think we should head back now?" I asked Chris, showing my worry. He was steering the boat so he deemed the obvious choice for whom to ask.

"Nah… I've ridden in this kind of weather before. I know what I'm doing," Chris said. Right after he said it, rain poured in waves of pelting drops. I shivered from the coldness and Derek pulled me tight against his chest, warming and shielding me.

"Is there any land we can stop at and let the storm pass?" Simon asked.

"My parents and some of their friends have this shelter on a small island near here. I'll head to that. If I'm correct, we're only about five minutes away," Chris voiced.

We headed there and Chris was right. It was ten minutes to get to the island because we had to navigate through the heavy rain. There was two huts on the island. Derek took our bag and set it in the first room of the one hut and Tori set hers in the other. "Okay, Simon. Looks like me and you are in the other hut," Chris piped, leading Simon to it.

They came back a little later, and we all gathered in the living room. It was really, really cold with these wet clothes. I started shivering and Derek pulled me close yet again. "You need to get out of those wet clothes. Why don't you go change?" Derek said, rubbing a hand along my upper arm to help warm me more than what his body heat already did.

"There's a shower for anyone that wants one. It's outside, but it's enclosed and it has hot water," Chris announced to our group. Tori called dibs and went to take a hot shower and warm up. Simon went to his and Chris's hut to change into something warm and dry. I escaped to go unpack and find something to wear, leaving Derek and Chris in the living room.

I pulled out a pair of white Bermuda shorts and a red t-shirt that contrasted well.. I also changed into a fresh set of underwear, since I was soaked to the bone. Then I went to go lay on the bed and wait for Derek.
