"OKAY OKAY SO MY "frequent uploading" PLAN FAILED. IM SORRYYYYY. EXTRA LONG CHAPTERS.. MAYBE. WHO KNOWS IF I CAN KEEP ANY PROMISES JEEZ.
Also, this chapter gets a bit "hot". Nothing too bad but like typical anime scene will happen most likely.
~~Amu's POV~~
"So... Is there any specific reason you've kidnapped me or..." I was sitting on a huge wall. Ikuto had somehow managed to climb up here with me on his shoulder. I was freaked out about falling but I wasn't gonna let him see that. He was already smug enough as is.
"You're entertaining.." He said, not taking his eyes off mine.
"Well jokes on you. You got all the crap I spilled on my apron on you now."
His eyes widened in mock surprise. "You mean it was an accident? You weren't trying to cook on your apron?" He said, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
I would've hit him but I was slightly terrified of moving.
I sighed. I knew I was never going to hear the end of this from Nadeshiko. Hey, it's not my fault I have a stalker. Next to me, Ikuto had begun picking little crumbs off of his shirt. I hadn't realised how muscular he actually was. Ikuto was reallyyyyy tall, so when you saw him that's the first thing you noticed. Tall and skinny. But now, up close; under his dark shirt you can see the outline of his muscles. A familiar cold swept through me.
"What are you staring at?" He said quietly.
Crap. I flushed. "Y-You're one to talk!"
He grinned. Crap. What was I looking at? Why was I even paying attention to him? What's wrong with me?
I decided it'd be best to ignore him till he got bored and took me back to the school.
But then he caught me off guard.
"Amu." His voice got serious and I turned to face him. It's the hardest thing making steady eye contact with him. The coldness always starts kicking in when I do it. But I do it. He doesn't get the satisfaction of me looking away. He leaned forward.
"What do you want?" I asked, immediately on the defensive.
~~Ikuto's POV~~
"Amu. You are the motive to a lot of people.." Why was I telling her this? No freaking clue. I think the electric feeling in me was shorting out my brain.
"What does that even mean." She said, her expression was flat. Like me, she was wiping her face of emotion. I grinned in my head. I can recover.
"Dunno. Figure it out." I smirked, knowing it'd piss her off.
I eventually did take her back. With difficulty I might add. She evidently, doesn't like to be carried. But it felt so good to touch her. The electric feeling was unbearable unless I was touching her. Then it was like a coldness would come tame the heat in my body. It was great.
I set her down in the hallway where I'd picked her up.
I almost grinned at her appearance. Her punkish demeanour and wardrobe did not go well with the mint green ruffles of the apron she was wearing. She was picking the last bits of sugar out of her bangs and luckily, didn't see me smiling at her.
"So. You kidnapped me to climb seven trees to get on top of a wall to have an awkward conversation?"
I grinned to myself. "What can I say? You're entertaining."
"Okay but literally, did we have to climb so many trees."
~~Amu's POV~~
"Ikuto... Amu?" I turned to see Tadase in the hallway. I saw Ikuto smirk out of the corner of my eye.
"What're you doing here, little king."
Tadase's eyes flashed in anger. Then he looked to me. "Amu, I thought you taking a cooking class with Nadeshiko today?" I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah but Tarzan over here decided we needed to go climb trees."
"Why are you so upset about the trees?" He muttered, almost laughing.
Tadase wasn't laughing though.
"Tskyumi Ikuto. You may not take Amu away from a scheduled academic course."
"Alright mom. Calm down." Ikuto said quietly.
Here's another weird thing about Ikuto. He's so quiet. But when he does talk I find it hard not to laugh. He has the same attitude and sense of humour as me. Unfortunately.
~The next day~
~~Amu's POV~~
I ended yesterday's conversation with the boys by literally just walking away. I didn't want to hear them anymore. Today I had another extra class, but I was excited about this one. I was very good at anything athletic.
I met Kukai in the school's sports field. On either side of the field, they're were very tall bleachers. Kukai had me run up and down these. Twice. I hate stairs.
"Alright Amu. You have a fairly decent time on the stairs."
"Jee thanks." I said dryly.
He laughed and winked at me. I cringed. How many times had he done that? "Alright. I'm gonna race you now." He said, pointing at the track around the field. "Wha-" He bolted. My natural competitiveness kicked in and I streamlined towards him. I caught up in seven seconds. Kukai laughed. He started to speed up. So I did too keeping just in pace with him. I knew he had more power. I saw him grinning and I prepared my self. "Amu. Are you ready to really try?" He said, not even panting. "I'm ready to really cry." I muttered. I hate running. I'm good at it. But I hate it. "What?" He shouted. "Bring it." I replied.
Let me tell you. That boy could dash. But so can this girl. "Two more laps. Whoever makes it to the wall wins." He shouted to me. I was no less then four meters behind him. I focused on his back and began increasing speed. I was on his heels as he touched the wall.
"Dammit Amu. That... Was... Close.." He was sweating.
"What's this? Are you panting?" I said, enjoying this. I was so focused I didn't even realise I was tired.
"That's... That's the fastest I've had to run in a very long time."
"Well I'm so glad I can be here to commemorate this moment with you." He must've noted my sarcasm because he replied with:
"You know I think of your legs were a little bit longer you could've won."
Rude.
"And I think you should-" oof!
Kukai had tossed a ball at me without me realising. It hit me in the stomach. I spiked it at him but he caught it with ease. "Alright next we'll be testing your control."
"Well hopefully that doesn't include mental control saying I just tried to decapitate you with a volley ball."
Kukai grinned. "Luckily for you, it doesn't."
He laid out a basketball, an American football, a baseball, a bat, a golf ball, a club, and a Hackeysack.
"What, no soccer?" He eyed me. "Soccer is my specialty. It'd be unfair for you." I glared. I didn't like being underestimated. I'd just have to show him with these.
"Alright. Basket ball. Dribble to the half court line then shoot." He said.
"There is no hoop.." I replied.
"Get it in that basket there." He pointed across the field to a small laundry basket laying in the grass.
I focused on it. Dribbling on grass is nearly impossible, but I managed. I ran, and then shot. The ball hit the back of the basket and it tumbled over on top the ball. I grinned. Kukai clapped and then said. "Hm... Okay let's try this." He handed me the football. "Go to the bleachers and throw this as far as you can." So I crossed the field once again to get to the bleachers. Kukai looked like a shadow. I gripped the ball and chucked it. It spiralled over Kukai's head and he had to run back to catch it.
Kukai seemed to be getting more impressed, and more aggressive. He handed me a bat and a baseball helmet and pointed to a batting cage. Baseball helmets are really heavy and really thick.
"Look. I'm almost as dense as you now." I shouted to Kukai.
"Still not as tall though." He shouted back, throwing the base ball. I swung and heard the clang before I felt the bat vibrate from the impact.
"Shit. Amu you can't be this good at everything. You're gonna give me a run for my money if you enter the sports club."
"Don't worry. I'm not interested."
"Aw but don't you wanna see me every day. I'm the captain."
"I don't even wanna see you right now."
And so the training continued. I learned I am very horrible at golf and very wonderful at hackeysack.
Kukai finally let me go to the locker room to shower and change. I walked inside and was met by my stalker. Good thing was, a cold rush went through me, felt good. He smirked. "How do you still manage to look cute with sweat matting your hair to your face?" I started to flush. "Why do you say things like that?" I said. "Just to see you red." He said smugly. "ITS JUST CAUSE I WAS WORKING OUT!" I slammed the locker room door in his face and I heard him snickering.
Why did I always have to blush around him? Jeez. If he'd just leave me alone.
~~Ikuto's POV~~
I sat on the roof. Watching the out side door of the girls locker room. I sighed. I actually asked her how she was so cute. I do this all the time. It just comes out around her. Luckily I can play it off around her. She thinks I'm just teasing. My eyes flicked to a blonde head coming onto the field. Annoyance spread through me. Little king. My eyes narrowed as he began talking to Kukai. Of seen how good she was at sports, it was obvious Kukai was bursting with excitement to tell someone. I silently jumped down to the roof of the shed so I could here what was going on. Plus, here I had a front view of the doors. Tadase had his back to the doors and was too involved in his discussion to notice when the doors opened. My eyes went widest what I saw. Amu had come out here with her shorts and belt on, her bra, and a towel draped around her shoulders so you couldn't see anything except her stomach. Her hair was still wet and sticking to her face. She was unbearably cute. Heat strayed zapping through me. What is she doing, why did she come out here like that?! I saw Tadase staring to turn.
No.
Faster then I think I've ever moved, I bolted to her, picked her up, and rushed back into the locker room, I was panting. I locked us in a stall. She was stunned. "I-Ikuto?! This is the girls–" I cut her off. "Amu. What. Are. You. Doing."
She cocked her head. "I was going to ask Kukai if I could borrow his jacket. Cause my shirt is too dirty to out back on.
"You. Aren't. Wearing. A. Shirt." I was trying to look anywhere else, the towel had fell and I know I was actually getting red.
She looked confused. "Yeah... But you can't see anything. I have a bra on."
I looked at her. Why was I so shaken. Why did I react like that. I began loosening my tie. I'd give her my shirt. I didn't want anyone seeing her like this. I unbuttoned it and put it over her.
Then we heard the freaking door open.
We were screwed. I wasn't supposed to be in here. We both had our shirts off. This would get us in trouble no matter what.
Footsteps.
I took a breath. I got closer to Amu. We shuffled towards the corner so the people couldn't see our feet. The electric feeling was almost painful. I wanted no more then to touch her.
They were getting closer.
I knew we'd be seen unless I got closer to the corner. With a deep breath I pushed myself against her. The feeling was absolutely amazing. The coolness rushing through me was the best thing. But I knew how to keep an emotionless face.
The shower turned on. We'd have to stay like this till they left.
"You wanna get any closer there?" She whispered sarcastically. But I saw her blushing. I smirked. I could play this off.
I pushed myself closer. "I think you like it." I whispered back.
"Oh yes. I adore being shoved into a corner by my shirtless stalker."
I brought my face closer.
'I want to kiss you'
"You're blushing, Amu."
"It's the humidity."
"Are you gonna stay home sick' for a couple days after this too?"
"I'm about to be sick on you."
I grinned, but remembered to drop it in a second.
