Pairings: Hibari X Tsuna X Mukuro?!
Genre: This is an MPREG!
Summary: When Yamamoto and Gokudera go pick up Tsuna for school; they find him passed out on his bathroom floor. After having him checked over by Shamal, Tsuna finds out that he's pregnant. There's just one problem: One: he's a guy and Two: he doesn't know who the father is. Let's watch as his journey unfolds.
Last Time…
"It's called placental abruption, in other words a small portion of the placenta has torn away from your uterine wall which means-", Shamal stopped when he saw that Tsuna had absolutely no idea what he was even talking about, which only added to his frustration. "Just how much of an idiot are you! It means that if the tear gets any bigger than you and the babies are pretty much dead!"T
Tsuna's eyes widened as he processed the information that Shamal had just given him, he didn't want to believe any of it. It seemed like everyone was trying to keep him from having these babies. Surely there must be something that Shamal could do though, right? After all he's one of the best doctors in the Mafia so there must be something that the man could do to make him better.
"You're gonna fix it though, right? Even Gokudera-kun said you're one of the best doctors so you have to have a cure right?" Tsuna looked up at Shamal with pleading eyes to help him to prevent what the doctor just explained.
Chapter Eleven: Their Resolve Strengthens
Gokudera and Yamamoto thought they had prepared themselves for what was behind the door; they remembered the last time they saw Tsuna he was being attended to by almost a dozen nurses as they tried to stabilize the boy's body. It was frightening to see their friend in such a vulnerable state, it was a picture they couldn't quite get of their heads. Nonetheless they opened the door as quietly as they could, Shamal did say that Tsuna still needed his rest, when they entered they could hear Nana chatting softly if they didn't know better it'd look like she was talking to herself. However, they knew better, upon hearing the door open Nana stopped to look at the boys that entered a wide smile plastered on her face.
"Arra…Gokudera-kun, Yamamoto-kun," she beamed at the boys, "Look who came to visit Tsu-kun."
She stepped aside revealing the person they long waited to see, Tsuna smiled weakly at his two friends. Most of the medical machines were gone, all except the I.V., heart monitor and the weird contraption that was still around his belly. Still it was good to see less machines around him and awake despite the tired look on his face. He still looked a little pale, but the pink tinge on his cheeks looked promising. Both guardians felt a little out of place, even though the attempted kidnapping took place a few days ago their pride was still hurt. They hadn't exactly done their jobs as guardians to protect him from that mysterious duo that almost made away with their boss.
"Guys…" Tsuna tried to sit up in his bed, to which his mother was quick to react to.
"Tsu-kun, you shouldn't push yourself," Nana rushed to his side and helped him sit up, placing a few pillows behind his back, "Dr. Shamal said you shouldn't strain yourself, he said you need to take it easy for few days remember."
The two guardians finally snapped back to reality, they went over to help Nana put Tsuna in an upright position. Yamamoto helped Tsuna's mom with the pillows while Gokudera grabbed another blanket when he noticed his boss was shivering a bit. When they finally settled him back in his bed he groaned out a small thank you before asking his mother if she could get him something to drink. To which she complied, she left the room leaving the two boys with her son knowing that he probably sent her away on purpose so he could talk to his friends more privately. Not that it bothered her, they'd been acting rather strange since they entered the room so letting them talking it through was probably good for them.
Even when his mother left the room there was still a tension between him and his guardians, he sensed something was wrong the moment they came in with such glum expressions. He didn't understand what it was though, could Shamal have told them about the severity of his condition or could it be something that they weren't telling him. Neither was sure what to say or do to each other but someone had to break this uncomfortable silence.
"How are you feeling, Tsuna?" Yamamoto decided to speak up.
"Better," Tsuna smiled faintly at the two, "a little tired but I'm ok. What about you guys Reborn told me you guys got hurt too. Are you guys ok?"
"Don't worry about us," Yamamoto chuckled, "we just got a few bumps and bruises nothing too serious, right Gokudera." They both look over at the silverette when he doesn't respond, he was always the first to correct Yamamoto on talking so casually to Tsuna but this time nothing.
"I'm glad to hear that, I don't think I could ever forgive myself if something happened to you guys." Tsuna felt relieved to hear that his friends weren't hurt too badly, it was something that'd been on his mind since he woke up. Reborn told him to not worry but it was something he couldn't help especially when it came to his friends. Right now he was really worried about Gokudera, it was really strange to see the bomber so quiet normally he'd be fretting over Tsuna's wellbeing.
"J-Judaime…"
"Gokudera-kun," Tsuna tried to reach out to his hand out to his friend's hand, but before he could Gokudera was already on the floor banging his head on the hospital's tiled floor apologizing nonstop because Tsuna was hurt. Honestly some things just never changed, but in a way he was kinda grateful for that, now if he could get his best friend to stop giving himself from giving himself any further brain damage maybe they could actually talk. The only problem was he couldn't exactly get out of the bed to do so because for one he's still hooked to various machines and two he still felt incredibly weak, luckily Yamamoto was quick to act in making Gokudera stop.
"Maa Gokudera stop you're making Tsuna worry…" the baseball player tried to get Gokudera off the floor only to have the bomber yell at him for interrupting him from properly apologizing to his boss to which Tsuna responded.
"Gokudera-kun please you really don't have to do that," Tsuna smiled at him, trying to show him that he was really fine. "Shamal said I'll be fine; I'll even get to go home in a couple days."
"But Juddaime if we hadn't been so weak, we could've beaten the crap out of that Charlotte-freak and that big oaf!" Gokudera slammed his fist onto the tile floor, his frustration and anger was getting the better of him. Before Gokudera could slam his fist a second time Yamamoto grabbed his arm forcing to look up at the taller teen, just as he was about to yell at the stupid baseball freak he saw the distraught look on his boss's face.
Gokudera knew that look very well, it was one he'd seen many times when Tsuna would start blaming himself when things would go awry even when it wasn't his fault. He'd seen it many times with every new enemy they've faced, just like now. He didn't want to see that ever again; it was too painful to watch his boss keep blaming himself every time one of them would get hurt. He hated being part of the reason Tsuna would do that, it was the reason he trained like a madman to become the best right-hand man he could be so that he'd never have to see that painful expression again.
"I'm sorry…"
"Gokudera-kun, I'm fine and more importantly you guys and the babies are fine," Tsuna gave a strained smile, "so please stop apologizing…"
The rest of Tsuna's words trailed off, immediately both boys were at his side asking if everything was ok, to which Tsuna only mumbled a few words that he was fine and just tired. The door opened revealing Tsuna's mother, glass of water in her hand, her face brightened at seeing the smile on her baby boy's face, though the expressions on her son's friends were a bit troubling seems they were still overly worried for her Tsuna.
"Did you boys have a good talk?" Nana placed the cup of water on the nightstand beside Tsuna's bed knowing he'll probably be thirsty when he wakes again. She tucked in the blankets into her son with care, she looked back at the boys the same expression plastered on their face. She walked up to the boys, put her hands on each of the guardians' shoulder and smiled earnestly at them.
"I'm so glad Tsuna has friends like you two," She drew them close in embrace, "I know he's keeping secrets from me and I'm sure he'll tell me when he's ready."
The both of them looked at her bewildered at what she'd just said. Even so her smile didn't falter, "I know you're all keeping a secret from me…"
"H-How?" Gokudera stammered through his words.
Nana merely chuckled a little, "It's a mother's intuition."
The two guardians looked at her flabbergasted, but she simply smiled at them. The stunned look on their faces was too priceless it was impossible to not chuckle a little.
"Tsuna's never been a good liar," Nana tried really hard to stifle her giggling, "but I choose to believe his little white lies because I know he's in good hands with you boys and the others."
Those words only strengthened their resolve to protect Tsuna at all costs. Sawada-san was putting all her trust in them and there was no way they were going to let her down.
Meanwhile…
"You idiot!" Charlotte kicked her oaf of a partner as hard as she could, throwing him against the wall. "How could you lose the target so easily, all you had to do was keep your grip on the brat and we could've escaped easily!"
"I'm sorry…" the oversized man gets up slowly before another kick landed square in the stomach and he doubled over in pain.
"Tch! How'd I get paired with an idiot like you!" the red head finally had enough of beating the other to a pulp and left him there to tend to his new wounds. "Honestly I don't know what our boss sees in you." She was halfway to the exit before she felt a presence come up behind her throwing her to the side and into another wall, thinking it was retaliation from the idiot she prepared to attack. She launched forward to attack but stopped when she met face to face with the last person she expected to see, her boss.
"B-BOSS?!" Charlotte was confused as to why she would suddenly attack her even as to why she was helping her idiot partner treat his injuries. "What are you doing here?" Shock was understatement, usually her boss kept herself held up in her office refusing to come out for anybody. Well almost everyone aside from herself the only other person that would spend copious amount of time in that office was the big buffoon she was forced to work with.
"Hmmm…I heard you returned from your mission," her boss cooed at person she was just beating the crap of, "I wanted to know how successful your mission was."
Charlotte flinched at that, the tone in her voice had changed from a playful tone to one that surely promised pain not something she wanted to endure right now after dealing with Vongola's guardians.
"Please forgive me boss, we had the target in our grasp but we were outnumbered by the Decimo's guardians!" Charlotte kneeled before her boss as a sign of respect.
"So you had the boy already in your possession," the female boss tenderly wrapped the big one's wounds, "and you got full of yourself that you made a spectacle of what was supposed to be a simple kidnapping, am I right?"
"Ah…" Charlotte looked away embarrassed.
It was true she wanted to impress her boss and show off that she was more than capable of handling the mission by herself without the help of the idiot she had to take along with her. Instead though she made herself look like an ultimate fool in front of her boss. To say it was embarrassment was a complete understatement, now she had to explain how she screwed up what should've been an easy mission.
Charlotte was so deep in thought that she didn't notice her boss already walking out of the room with the big idiot as she supported him, his arm around her shoulder. It wasn't until she heard her laughing a bit that she actually looked up at the door, she couldn't deny she was a bit jealous at how kind she treated the useless lump she was supporting.
"Mou," she looked back and gave her a sly grin, "You may have failed in kidnapping him but you didn't fail the other assignment, so I guess I'll let it go for now."
"After all we still have plenty of time before they're born I can wait a little longer…"
With that she walked away leaving Charlotte behind in the room, she still needed to treat the other's wounds.
"Come now, Damien," Anya cooed at the bigger one, "we need to treat your wounds."
