Just want to say sorry again for not updating.
Goal: Finish out the story.
As promised, Matthew gets his own chapter!
Anyway hope you enjoy...
As Matthew walked out of the ruined city, he saw that he was only a few miles away from Generator 10's kingdom. Matthew recognized the place; it was Providence, but only creepier looking. The walls looked as if they surrounded the entire mountain that the base was built inside of. He saw a few bird-like Mech-EVOs flying over him, screeching.
"Uh… guys?" Matthew said in his earpiece, "I was just kidding about the whole 'sneaking in by myself" plan. Ha ha," he faked laughed nervously.
"Too late," Kevin responded, "You are the only one who can sneak in there and shut off the defense system. It should be in a tower east inside the kingdom. You see it?"
As Matthew got closer, he saw what Kevin was talking about. He felt the electricity coming off from the power it had. "Yeah," he answered, "It's huge."
"Once you get behind the walls, you have at least fifteen minutes to get inside that tower and drain the power. By then, we'll all come out and charge the gates."
"And you think I can have the power down in fifteen minutes?" he asked, feeling himself pass through the barrier. He looked at his now dirt-covered white-hoodie, torn by his EVO-Alien claws, took make it look like he had nothing to do with the Resistance.
"We believe in you Matthew. Good luck." And with that, Kevin was cut off. Matthew had finally reached the metal doors. He had looked up, seeing as they towered over him.
Suddenly, He saw an EVO with spider legs and a shark-like mouth jumping next to him. On the EVO was a knight, holding a sword at him. "Who are you? State your business!"
Say something, Matthew said in his head, Think of a name. "Uhh…," Matthew hesitated. My name is… O-Overcharge," Overcharge? Matthew thought. It wasn't the best name, but that didn't matter. "I-I'm here to join Generator's home?"
The knight looked at him, while the EVO growled, ready to attack. "Quit the Resistance? Never seen you before."
"I was never with the Resistance. I've been living on my own." Say something better, "My father was killed and my mothr went missing. I need a home. Please?"
The knight laughed, taking out a remote and pressing the button. The metal doors opened up slowly, making a deep, groaning sound. "Welcome to your new home," he laughed, kicking Matthew inside.
As Matthew recovered from the stumbling, he looked up and saw one thing: pain. The houses were made out of stone and pieces of steel. There were stores that had only very few items that looked torn down and food stands that smelled awful; it made Matthew cover his nose.
The people outside were all wearing old, torn clothes that were covered in dust, the knights walked the streets, patrolling the place. Matthew saw a knight kick a stack of boxes that a man was working on, making the items inside fall on the ground. Matthew wanted to help, but he was only going to do that by shutting the tower down. He made his way through, ignoring the weeps of the people.
It was all a lie; Generator 10 never promised the people safety and peace. It was just like in his dimension; the he came from. Black Knight, or Samantha, had made everyone believe that she was helping the world with EVOs, when she was actually using them for her own plan to concur his father's world. He still remembered that day had stopped her; that day when he left her to die…
"Please!" Matthew heard a man cry out. He looked to his left and saw a couple being terrorized by a knight and a strange dog-EVO. "We'll have the rent! Just please, give us more time!"
"Generator 10 has already given you enough time already!" The knight shouted, as his pet growled at the man. "Should we take it up with him?"
"No! Please!" Matthew wanted help, but he only had a little bit of time left. He just couldn't stand the man and woman suffering. Suddenly, the EVO grabbed the woman. She shouted. "Wait! Stop! What are you-?"
"There! Now you have less money to spend on." The knight laughed as he and his dog walked towards the castle.
Matthew went up to the man, who was now on his knees crying to the ground. "Matthew put his hand his back. Frightened, the man looked up, "It okay," Matthew whispered, "You'll get her back. Get inside your house an d hid there. It's gonna get crazy."
"Who are you?"
"I'm with the Resistance. "The man smiled, "Now hurry!" As the man walked back inside his house, Matthew continued on.
He had made it to the tower, feeling the power inside. He wasn't going to be able to do it outside; inside it was. A group of walking knights had stopped at the entrance, making Matthew hide behind a dumpster, wondering how to get them away. He saw Mech-EVO horse near a fruit stand. Creating a spark in his hands, Matthew pointed his finger at the horse's rear, sending a little stream of static. The horse bellowed, jumping and knocking things down. It then ran pass the knights, forcing them the chase after it.
Quietly, Matthew turned into his Alien-EVO form, waiting for the entrance to open.
When the door opened, Matthew saw Manny and Skalamander walk out the door; he stopped himself from going. "Generator 10 is starting to turn into a real pain," Skalamander growled. Matthew couldn't believe that one of Van Kliess' friends had turned evil. Sure, they were evil before, but in his dimension, he changed for the better. " If you ask me, all the power is going to his head."
"Watch what you say man," Manny warned him. "Unless you want to end up in the Trophy Room. He might be listening." They were still blocking the entrance; Matthew was running out of time. "Beside, we're better off serving him." And with that, they left.
Quickly, Matthew ran to the door, entering the tower. He expected more guards around, but didn't see very many. The he the stairs going start up to the room to the defense controls. Using the electricity, Matthew wielded the doors shut and headed upstairs. He came up to a door and punched it open. He saw a blue skinned EVO at a computer chair, monitoring the cameras, "Hey!" he said, getting up quickly. Before the guard could do anything else, Matthew lunged at him and cupped his mouth, shocking him with electricity. As the guard past out on the floor, he went to the computers and looked at the clock: he had five minutes left.
Quickly, he looked around the room for anything that gave power to the Kingdom's defenses. He searched the control panel for something; nothing. "Shoot!" Matthew said to himself. He spun around and saw a blue circle in the middle of the floor; he felt power towards it. He turned into his Alien-EVO form, using his claws and strength, Matthew slowly pulled up a hidden generator, surge with power. He had found it.
"Here we go," Matthew said with a smile. Turning back into his human form, Matthew grabbed the generator, absorbing the power. He felt the power continually flowing through him as he absorbed the power. Kevin was right, if he stopped, the power would just recharge itself. He looked at a computer screen that showed the outside of the walls. He grinned, seeing an army of EVOs, Plumbers, and tanks charging in the distance.
"What are you doing?" shouted a man coming through the door. Before Matthew could react, the knight pulled out a small silver ball, "Intruder in the secretly tower!" he spoke to it. "I need back-"Matthew shot the man with lighting, still trying to hold the power back in the generator. Suddenly, the alarms outside began to go off.
"Oh no, "Matthew whispered, hearing the EVO hounds making their way up to him. He looked at the cameras again, watching the Resistance still making their way to the Kingdom. A few rockets were launched towards them, but the still charged.
Matthew felt a sharp pain in his free, left arm. An EVO dog with burning red eyes, six claws, and six-inch teeth that had sinked into Matthew. Screaming, Matthew shook his arm, but he was too weak. He turned into his Alien-EVO form and threw the dog out the window. Already, he felt the power to the defenses quickly regenerating as he let go, but he grabbed on.
Another dog ran inside the room, but Matthew shot it with lightning, stunning him. "Come on guys!" He shouted as if the Ben, Rex and the others were listening. He heard the knights outside shouting and panicking. Two knights came up to the room, swinging their swords at Matthew. He dodged, grabbed a knight by the leg and electrocuted him. The second knight punched Matthew in the chest, knocking the air out of him. Matthew, with his hand still on the generator, sent out a shockwave, knocking the knight back.
As the Resistance got closer to the walls, Matthew began struggle to contain the electricity inside him. "Plan B!" he said, turning into his Alien-EVO form. Growling, and taking the pain of the pure power from the generator, Matthew dug his claws in and pulled. The generator resisted, but Matthew slowly felt it getting pulled out. Finally, he threw the generator out the window and followed it.
As he landed on a rooftop, the front gates of the Kingdom caved in as members of the Resistance flooded in, attacking EVOs and knights. Mech EVOs started to come out, but were starting to be overwhelmed by the EVO that Circe controlled. Matthew, in his human form, got up and jumped onto the power lines, "skating" around the place, shooting knights and Mech EVOs with his lighting.
As he jumped down to the ground, he saw Kevin on top a Resistance EVO-like elephant. "Victims of Generator 10," He shouted, "Freedom starts now! Rise with us and let's take back peace! No more to Generator 10's rule!" He lifted his golden arm up, the same material as Van Kliess'. Suddenly, an uproar battle cries were heard around the Kingdom, from the people. "To the Castle!"
Matthew then remembered the next part of the plan: charge the front door of the Castle and take out anyone who was in the way. Running Matthew punched and kicked knights and EVOs who tried to attack him. He looked to his left and saw Julie and Ben, in his Ultimate Wildmutt form, doing the same. A giant Mech-EVO bird hovered over them, but Matthew shot it down.
Suddenly, a group of knights on speeders charged towards Matthew. Before he did anything, a saw Rex zoom by on his Rex Ride, clearing the knights out with his BFS. A knight managed to jump on to him, but Rex shoved him off. To his side, he saw Biowulf running on all four limbs.
As Matthew and Biowulf were half way to the castle, a demands pillar rose from the ground, blocking their path. Skalamander came out, swinging at Matthew and Biowulf. "You!" he shouted at Matthew, You're the little punk from before!" He rose his giant diamond hand, but Biowulf tackled him to the ground.
"Go boy!" Biowulf shouted at him. Matthew didn't want to leave his two friends fight, even if it wasn't his world. "I'll take care of him."
Skalamander got up and grinned at his old friend, "Biowulf."
Biowulf crouched, "Skalamander."
"Lapdog."
"Traitor!" Biowulf jumped on to Skalamnder, but Matthew lift to to alone to fight. As he got over the pillar, he saw the Resistance fighting at the front door of the Castle. Ben, Rex, Kevin, Julie, Pierce, everyone was there.
As Matthew walked up, he was meant by Rex, who seemed to be out of breath. "You alright?" he asked him.
Rex smiled, "Never been better." They all looked back and saw more of the Resistance charging at castle, still strong and willing to fight.
"So what now," Ben asked, still in his Ultimate Wildmutt form.
Kevin took out a shotgun, reloading it, "We go in, but part for a few moments. Rex, prisoners are on the bottom floor. You get down there and free them. The majority of them are soldiers, so they'll help. Matthew, the EVOs are being controlled by Circe, but she's not strong enough for them all. There's a room holding a computer named ZAG-RS. Find it, rip it apart and the EVOs will be on our side." He looked at Ben, "And us… let's get my baby girl back." They all nodded in agreement and knocked the door down, entering the castle.
