"Himi? Himi? I think she's coming to!"

Himitsu shook her head at the fuzzy lights coming into sight. She scrunched her eyes back closed, wanting the aches in her body to vanish. She could hear Wasabi talking, excited. "I'll go get the nurse!"

There was running steps fading away. There were echoes still in her ears from whatever crazy dream she had just woken up from. Himi wanted to move her mouth to speak but her tongue felt heavy. She felt a hand in her messy hair sending a pulse of irritating pain through her skull. She groaned, burying herself into the plush pillows. "GoGo?"

"Right here," GoGo said, trying to keep her tone calm and level. But she couldn't hide her relief from her own sister. "Are you okay?"

Himitsu slowly shook her head. Then nodded. It hurt. "What happened?"

"You were being a knucklehead," GoGo responded. Her voice was softer than usual, but it was laced with a little bit of anger. Himitsu forced open her eyes to look at the plain grey-blue walls of her hospital room. How had she even gotten here? How long had she been here? There was a window to her left, where GoGo was sitting in a very uncomfortable looking chair.

She took a deep breath, her stomach rumbling so hard it hurt and another groan escaped her lips. Wasabi was back... with Hiro, Baymax, and the nurse. The nurse started bustling about, asking her questions she could still remember the answers to after a moment. Then she was gone. Then the events hit her and she sat up slowly.

I could've died.

This time Limbo and Crowe hadn't had her trapped in some alley way where just anyone could find them. They had led her to their territory. Everything in her mind played out. And again, she was saved by those who were way braver than she was... By some insane miracle. She was alive.

Her eyes drifted over to Hiro and Baymax with a vase of flowers in its ballooned hands. Hiro rushed to her, wrapping her in a hug; the world seemed to slow down in his embrace. His scent made her think of machines which wasn't necessarily a bad smell... there was the faint smell of oranges, too. But her mind was elsewhere. She couldn't help but think of the Big Hero 6 and how she thought she would never see them again. How they had been right there.

When Hiro let go of her, Himi sunk right back into the pillows. He took the case from Baymax to set them down beside her. It took her a moment to register that they were talking to her, but the voices were garbled and her eyes felt heavy. She could hear the nurse shooing everyone out but GoGo. She felt a hand slip into hers and squeeze.

"Home sweet home," GoGo said blandly, dropped her motorcycle keys on the counter. Himitsu shuffled past her, hoping GoGo would let her just go to her room without a word. But GoGo's temper was short and nothing to mess with. She felt a yank at her clothes. The same clothes she had been wearing the other night. So close. "Nuh-uh!"

Himi was spun around, her blue hair filling her vision before settling. GoGo had her arms crossed, mouth set in a line, and eyebrow raised. "Explain. Now."

Himitsu took a deep breathe, feeling the dread rise up into her chest. Making her want to shake and cry. Her russet eyes focused on the blurry ground. She bit her lip and she could feel GoGo's patience wearing thin. But she found it hard to speak still. Himitsu scrunched her face up and choking out her next words, "I... I wanted to... t-to woman up. I wanted to face... face my own problems without you there to filter it all. I wanted to learn how to handle myself... I'm... I'm sorry, Leiko."

Himitsu forced herself to look up at GoGo, unable to really see her sister's features. But she knew how her face looked when she was thinking. "When I said 'Woman up' I never meant go get yourself hurt. I never meant sneak out. I never meant... any of this."

She frantically waved her arms because she found herself having no other way to encompass this whole situation. "I thought you're smarter than that."

she wiped her hand down her face, mumbling something about understanding Tadashi. At the mention of his name, Himitsu bit her lip and shrugged. She let her feet carry her backwards until she hit the wall. The she turned and hurried towards her room. At the doorframe, the only thing that stopped her was the sound of GoGo's voice drifting towards her. "You're lucky they were there."

Himitsu spun around. "Who?"

GoGo sauntered past her with a bowl in her hands, rolling her eyes. "Who do ya think? Oh, and you're grounded."

GoGo shut the door to room with her foot. Himitsu stared at the door for a moment before retreating into her own space. She could accept the fact that she was grounded; her mother would've locked her away like Rapunzel, up in a tower with no connection to the outside world. This was a much better punishment by comparison.

Himi's eyes were drawn to her glasses that she had left on her nightstand. She felt like she hadn't seen out of them for a very very long time when she placed them on the bridge of her. nose and her vision focused into a clear image. She looked down at the crumpled piece of paper at her feet. Stupid.

Stupid.

Stupid!

"Stupid!" Himi shouted stomping on the piece of paper over and over. Then she collapsed on her bed with a sob. How stupid could she get? There was no way to go back and stop this all from happening. She lifted up her glasses to wipe tears off her face before sitting up and grabbing that cursed piece of paper. She ripped it to shreds and threw it out the open window...

The window she hadn't opened.

So

...
