So, almost four years. Honestly, I hadn't meant to leave this story sit so long, but oh, well. I want to give a shout-out to Twiphase. I honestly had the same idea for this chapter even before your wrote me your review and since someone else mentioned it, I thought, "Why not?" I am sorry to say that I won't be able to do your second idea because I have no idea how I would do it since it doesn't feel like it fits with Walks of Life. I'm not saying it's a good idea; I just feel like I wouldn't be able to meet the expectations. But someone please use that idea since the new Alice in Wonderland is coming out in May.

Tom, Peyton, and Kaz were sitting in the Port Court.

"Do either of you know what's gotten into Sarah?" Tom asked. "She's been pretty distant the last few days."

"I don't know," said Kaz.

"She's been missing matches and doesn't go to the Beta Drome," Peyton told them.

Tom looked down at his drink. "I wonder what's wrong. You don't think that it's something we did, do you?"

Kaz snorted. "I think she would have told us if we had."

Peyton barked a laugh. "Not necessarily what we did, but we would know if we made her mad."

Tom and Kaz both agreed. Sarah was someone who would let you know if you angered her.

Kaz stood up. "I have a match. I'll see you guys later."

"Do you want to meet up at the Beta Drome later and have a match?" Tom asked.

"Sure," said Kaz. "I have some new combos to try out."

"Ooh!" said Peyton. "Mind if I join in?"

"Sure," said Tom. "And maybe we can find Sarah and get her to play as well."

"See you guys then," said Kaz, leaving for his match.

While Kaz was riding the tram to the dromes, he noticed a blonde girl with her back to him.

"Sarah?" Kaz called.

The girl looked over her shoulder. She may have had long blonde hair like Sarah, but her eyes were blue, not green. She was wearing something like a cheerleader's outfit in white and trimmed in fuchsia.

"Oh, sorry," said Kaz. "Thought you were someone else."

The girl rolled her eyes. "I get that a lot. Are you my opponent for my match?"

"I don't think so," said Kaz. He stuck his hand out. "KidChaor."

The girl shook his hand. "Harmonia."

"Nice to meet you," said Kaz.

The tram stopped.

"This is my stop," said Harmonia. "See you later."

Peyton was finishing his third burger when he saw a blonde girl walk by. Tom had left not long after Kaz had left for his match and he was feeling a little lonely. Thinking it was Sarah, he jumped up to greet his friend.

"Sarah!" He threw his arm around her shoulders.

"Hey!" The girl was not Sarah. She gave Peyton a shove.

Peyton stumbled back. "I am so sorry! I thought you were someone else."

The girl giggled. "You're hardly the first to do that. So, lunch break?"

Peyton looked back at his table. "More like snack. Care to join me, my lady?"

"Sure."

"PeytonicMaster or Peyton."

"Harmonie."

Peyton pulled a chair out for Harmonie.

Harmonie flattened her white cheerleader skirt as she sat and then fixed her matching top, both trimmed with green.

The robot server came up to Harmonie.

"Can I get the Lava Pond tacos?" she asked the server. "And a soda?"

"Right away, miss." The server went off to get her food.

Peyton raised his eyebrows. "Lava Pond tacos? A girl after my own heart."

"I love spicy food," said Harmonie. "I'm not allowed to eat it at home."

"How come?" asked Peyton.

"I'm in gymnastics," Harmonie explained. "My parents have us on this stupid diet. Like I don't burn enough calories, they take away my tabasco sauce? At least here I don't have to keep track of what I eat."

Peyton laughed. "That's the beauty of it! I tried doing an experiment like that before to see if I wouldn't be hungry when I went home, but it didn't work. So gymnastics, huh? What event?"

Harmonie shrugged. "I'm proficient at everything, but I love the uneven bars. It feels like you're flying."

Peyton looked down at himself. "Yeah, I don't see that happening with me."

Harmonie slapped him playfully on the arm. "Don't say that."

Peyton laughed again. "I know I'm a big boy, but I'm happy with it."

Harmonie smiled. "I'm glad you're happy with yourself."

Harmonie's food arrived and all conversation was put on hold while she ate.

After she finished her tacos and was sipping on her soda, she and Peyton continued her conversation. One thing led to another and Peyton ended up inviting her for a match sometime. Harmonie agreed and they tried to work out a time.

Tom had decided to explore the Port Court to see if he could find Sarah anywhere. He was starting to get really worried. She had been avoiding all three of them, not going to matches, not answering her scanner; it wasn't like her.

He wasn't having any luck, but he thought that his luck changed when he saw a blonde in a white cheerleader's outfit trimmed in heather purple sitting with her back to him. Tom seriously doubted that it was Sarah, but he thought he should check.

He came up behind the blonde. "Sarah?"

The girl looked over her shoulder. It wasn't Sarah.

"Oh, I'm sorry," said Tom. "I thought you were someone else."

The girl smiled gently. "That happens a lot. MajorTom, right?"

"Uh, yeah. How did you know?"

"I'm Harmonious. You're a big name in the OverWorld player community," she replied.

Tom smiled and sat down with her. "Thanks. I guess you're an OverWorld player."

Harmonious nodded. "I like them. They probably have the widest variety of attacks."

"Teamwork is their strength," said Tom.

Harmonious nodded. "But weak in a sanctioned drome battle. One-on-one isn't their strong suit."

Tom frowned. "I've gotten out of plenty of battles with Maxxor."

"I'm not saying that it's impossible, but for a player getting used to matches, it can be difficult," Harmonious placated. "I can't tell you how many times I lost a match with an OverWorlder before I got used to the matches. I used to play UnderWorlders until I got used to becoming the Creatures."

Tom glanced up at the screens and saw Kaz's match had started.

"Your friend?" Harmonious asked.

"Yeah," said Tom.

Harmonious watched the match. "Your friend plays UnderWorlders."

"Yeah," Tom said again. "He's the only player with a Chaor scan that I know of. Kaz knows his way around the UnderWorld like he lives there."

Harmonious laughed. "You two must have the biggest rivalry ever. Maxxor and Chaor; it's not like they're drinking buddies."

Tom grinned. "But Kaz and I are best friends."

"Wouldn't mind having a match with you guys," said Harmonious.

Tom was quiet for a moment. "Why not? When Kaz gets done, we can go over to the Beta Drome. Chaor versus Maxxor versus you."

"I'd like that, but I think we should even the odds," said Harmonious.

"Two on two then?" suggested Tom.

Harmonious hummed. "How about three on three?"

"Sure," said Tom. "I think my friend Peyton would join in."

"Cool. So, I'll see you at the Beta Drome when your friend is done?"

"Yeah, I'll see you then," said Tom.

Kaz finished his match with another victory under his belt thanks to Chaor. He boarded the tram back and saw the girl he rode with to the dromes.

"Harmonia," said Kaz. "How was your match?"

Harmonia smiled. "I won. What about you?"

"I won, too," said Kaz. "I'm heading back to the Port Court. I gotta meet up with my friends."

"Mind if I follow you back?" asked Harmonia. "Could use the company of another UnderWorld player."

"What, none of your friends UnderWorld players?" asked Kaz.

"OverWorld and Mipedian," said Harmonia. "I love them dearly, but I can't turn away from my UnderWorlders."

"Sure, you can join me," said Kaz.

Kaz and Harmonia got off the train and over to the table where Peyton had stayed for lunch. He was sitting with a blonde that looked just like Harmonia.

"Hey," Harmonia said.

Peyton and the girl turned to Harmonia and Kaz.

"Hey, sis!" chirped the girl.

Peyton and Kaz looked at the girls with stunned expressions.

"Harmonie, you know her?" asked Peyton.

Harmonie stood next to Harmonia. "Can't you see the resemblance?"

"Twins," Kaz said still in a state of shock.

Harmonia and Harmonie looked at each other with identical smirks.

Tom came over to them. "Hey, guys, I – Harmonious?"

Harmonia and Harmonie turned to Tom. "So you met our sister?"

"Sister?" repeated Kaz and Peyton in shock.

"We're identical triplets," said Harmonie.

"Um, that's cool," Kaz said, not knowing what to say.

"So I met your sister," Tom said slowly. "Um, I'm supposed to meet her for a three on three match with Peyton and Kaz, if you guys are up for it. I'm guessing her two for the three on three were her sisters."

Harmonie grinned. "That's us!"

Tom and Kaz looked at each other.

Tom shrugged. "Well we all said that we would battle with them sometime."

"Let's not keep our sister waiting," said Harmonia.

The five of them went to the Beta Drome and found Harmonious waiting for them.

"I didn't even have to call you," Harmonious said to her sisters.

"This is Peyton," said Harmonie.

"And this is Kaz," Harmonia introduced.

"I'm Harmonious."

"That is so confusing," said Kaz. "It's hard to tell you apart."

"It's hard for everyone to tell us apart," said Harmonia. "We may look identical, but we're not, and people don't seem to understand that. I'm Faith."

Peyton looked at Harmonie. "You were saying you had to do everything together."

Harmonie nodded. "Like I said with gymnastics. I like the uneven bars. Faith prefers vault and beam."

"And I prefer floor," finished Harmonious. "I'm Hope."

"Grace," said Harmonie.

"We're the Harmony sisters," the triplets said in unison.

"No, seriously," said Faith. "Our last name is Harmony."

"So, let's have our match!" Grace told them, excited for a good match.

The six of them entered the Beta Drome.

The boys kept looking up at the girls to see how they were picking their teams. The triplets were looking at each other's choices and occasionally would say, "Really?" "You're going with that?" "You sure?"

Peyton whispered to his teammates, "How do you think they're going to play?"

"Hope uses OverWorlders," said Tom. "They're great in a team battle. They'll probably all go with OverWorlders."

"No," said Kaz. "Faith is an UnderWorld player. She told me herself."

"So OverWorlders and UnderWorlders," said Tom.

"You're forgetting something, bros," said Peyton. "People treat them like they're identical. Maybe each has a different strategy."

Kaz thought for a moment. "Faith said her friends play OverWorlders and Mipedians."

"So Grace may play a Mipedian," said Tom.

"We better play to our strengths," said Kaz.

"You're right," Tom agreed. He had already chosen his Creature from his conversation with Hope. He didn't want to disappoint her.

Tom, Peyton, and Kaz had their picks out.

"How do we want to do location?" Peyton called out.

It was Grace who answered. "Throw all the scans in, spin, and hope for something fun?"

Hope nodded.

"That's fine with me," Faith agreed.

"Players, lock your decks," the robotic voice of the Drome said.

They locked their decks and it was revealed what the other team picked. Each had picked one Creature, Battle Gear, and Mugic if it applied.

It wasn't any surprise that Tom and Kaz went with Maxxor and Chaor respectively. Peyton had chosen to go with Prince Mudeenu.

The girls had gone with a mix of tribes as well. Faith had chosen Takinom, Grace had gone with Siado, and Hope had picked Intress.

Peyton laughed. "Girls after our own hearts."

"Are we going to do this tribe member against tribe member?" asked Tom.

"Where's the fun in that?" asked Faith. "Though it would keep things more even."

"If we wanted balanced, we should have done separate one on one matches," said Hope.

"Let's just do this," Kaz said, getting a little impatient.

"We're ready," said the triplets.

"Then let's get chaotic," said Tom.

It was Faith who gave the location randomizer a spin.

"The location is UnderWorld City," said the Drone proctor.

"All right!" Faith cheered.

Kaz was also pleased. He knew UnderWorld City well and Chaor knew it even better. But with Takinom, Faith would also have a little bit of an advantage. However, Kaz spent most of his time in the UnderWorld and H'earing showed him all the secret spots.

The six of them tapped the screens to become their Creatures. They were transported to UnderWorld City.

Maxxor quietly moved down the streets of UnderWorld City. "Wish we would have chosen neutral ground. At least Kaz knows the area. Would be nice if I could find him."

A sound startled him. Maxxor whipped around.

Mudeenu appeared with his hands raised. "Easy, bro."

Maxxor breathed a sigh of relief. "Peyton. You scared me. Have you seen Kaz?"

"Not yet," Mudeenu replied.

An explosion a few blocks over caught their attention.

"Sounds like one of the girls found him," said Mudeenu.

Takinom was firing her Pyroblaster aggressively at Chaor. "Hold still!" she yelled.

Chaor ducked around a building to catch his breath. "Wow! Didn't think she would start shooting like that," he said to himself.

"That's my sister for you," said a voice from above.

Chaor looked up and saw nothing.

That gave Takinom enough time to run around and shoot at Chaor. Chaor answered back with his Whepcrack. Takinom dodged to the side.

Maxxor ran up. "Takinom!"

Takinom turned and brought up her Pyroblaster.

Maxxor was a bit faster with his rock wave attack.

Takinom took to the air to avoid being hit. She had noticed the Vlaric Shard on Maxxor's wrist and knew she was in trouble if she was hit by his earth attacks.

Maxxor prepared another attack, but was pounced upon from behind. Intress flipped over several times before facing him.

"Pebble storm!" yelled Maxxor.

Instead of Intress dodging like he expected to, she took two steps and flipped, using a flash kick. It blasted some of the stones back at Maxxor, creating a hole for Intress to avoid the attack. Maxxor put his arms up to protect himself.

Mudeenu was watching from the shadows. He knew Siado was around there somewhere. Grace didn't strike Peyton as someone who would leave her sisters hanging, but she may give them their space.

He cringed when Intress unleashed a torrent of water attack. Mudeenu knew that had to hurt. Hope had equipped Intress with Torrent Krinth, increasing her water attacks.

Mudeenu turned his attention to Takinom and Chaor. They were really going at it. The street around them was completely destroyed by all the fire attacks they were launching at each other. At the moment, Takinom was in the air.

Mudeenu was completely unaware that he was being stalked.

"I feel kinda bad shooting you from behind," said a voice.

Mudeenu turned around and saw nothing.

"Up here."

Mudeenu looked up and saw Siado perched above him. "How long have you been up there?"

"About two minutes," replied Siado. "I think I spooked Kaz when he was trying to get a reprieve from Faith. She can be intense."

"So what now?" asked Mudeenu.

"Fair fight?" Siado jumped down. "You may make the first move, my prince."

"Thanks." Mudeenu used his Wind Whip.

Siado cartwheeled out of the way.

Mudeenu continued to attack, but he couldn't hit Siado since Siado was kept flipping out of the way.

"Grace, I'm impressed."

"Thank you. It took us all awhile to be able to use our gymnastic skills with the Creatures."

Mudeenu grinned. "That's why Hope went with Intress."

The Mipedians glanced over at the two battling OverWorlders. Maxxor was absolutely soaked and Intress was covered in dirt.

"That fight seems like it'll be over in a minute," said Mudeenu. He smirked and vanished.

"Shoot!" muttered Siado.

Intress was about to finish Maxxor when she was thrown back by an air attacked that came out of nowhere.

"Thanks, Peyton!" Maxxor shouted.

Siado looked at Intress. One more hit and she was done. It was time to use Mugic. "Song of Truesight!"

Mudeenu became visible. He was standing right next to Maxxor.

Siado's cyclone slam attack knocked Mudeenu off his feet, but coded Maxxor.

Intress got to her feet. "Nice work, sis."

"You okay?" Siado asked.

"Give me a moment." Intress activated her Mugic. "Song of Resurgence!"

Once the Mugic restored Intress' strength, Siado said, "Go help Faith. Chaor's giving her a hard time."

Intress bounded off to help Takinom.

Chaor faced down an injured Takinom. Takinom had been hit in the wing and was grounded.

"Rock wave!" Intress' attack caught Chaor off-guard and sent him sprawling.

Takinom glared at Intress. "What are you doing?"

"You looked like you could use some help," said Intress.

"I had this!" Takinom snapped.

"Skeletal strike!" roared Chaor, taking advantage of the sisters.

Intress started fighting the skeleton that had been summoned and Takinom went back to trying to destroy Chaor.

Mudeenu and Siado were back fighting again. Mudeenu had a mean cyclone slam, but it didn't do him any good when Siado kept disappearing and dodging. Thanks to Grace's Mugic, he couldn't turn invisible.

Changing strategy, Mudeenu activated his Mugic. "Melody of Mirage!"

Duplicates of Mudeenu appeared.

Siado decided the best thing to do was to use another cyclone slam and hope for the best. Just as Siado launched the attack, the real Mudeenu moved from behind an illusion and nailed Siado with a lightning attack. Siado yelled and was coded.

Intress finished off the skeleton that Chaor set on them. She turned in time to see Takinom activate her Mugic.

"Canon of Casualty!"

Chaor took the full blast of the Mugic, but was still standing. "Not bad. Canon of Casualty!"

"Oh, crud!" Takinom yelled.

Chaor's Mugic coded Takinom.

Intress looked at Chaor and then at Mudeenu. "Shoot, I'm by myself!"

She turned and ran down an alley.

"Running away won't save you!" Chaor shouted after her.

Chaor and Mudeenu followed her. Intress led them on a merry chase up and down streets. Finally they lost track of her.

"Where did she go?" said Mudeenu.

"She couldn't have gone far," said Chaor. "The street dead ends ahead."

Intress jumped down from the roof she was hiding on top of. "Rip tide!"

The force of her attack pushed both Chaor and Mudeenu back into the wall at the dead end street.

Chaor, who had had a brutal battle with Takinom, was coded by the water attack, but Mudeenu was pinned.

"Frost blight!"

The ice held Mudeenu in place. Intress took a moment to get her breath before her next attack. Sadly, she didn't get to finish.

Mudeenu launched a thunder shout.

Everyone appeared back in the Drome.

"Shoot!" yelled Hope. "I really thought I had you, Peyton."

"Nice try, Hope," Peyton praised. "But next time, don't wait to finish off your opponent."

Hope nodded. "I'll keep that in mind."

"You were really comfortable with Intress," Tom commented.

Grace put her hand on Hope's shoulder. "Hope worked hard to be able to use all her gymnastic skills with Intress."

Hope smiled at her sisters. "We all have."

The six of them sat around a table in the Port Court.

"I noticed that you three have different styles of fighting," said Tom.

"Just like the different tribes," Peyton added in.

Hope nodded. "We would."

"We may be identical, but we're different," said Faith. "A lot of people forget about that. Even our parents group us together like we're some sort of packaged deal."

"It's sad," Grace added. "Really the only things the three of us agree on are gymnastics and Chaotic and even then we like different things."

"Well, if you didn't do everything together, what would you do?" asked Kaz.

The sisters looked at each other.

"I'd like to go back to ballet," said Hope. "We did it together, but since Faith and Grace didn't like it, all three of us were pulled out."

"I think I'd like to learn to play the drums," Faith said.

Grace giggled. "It would suit you. You always have so much energy."

"It's either that or take up martial arts," Faith told them with a shrug.

"Be a shame to ruin a pretty face," teased Grace.

Faith sniffed. "We all know I'm the pretty one of the three of us."

Hope laughed. "Yes, we know."

"What about you, Grace?" asked Tom.

Grace frowned. "I'm not sure. I like gymnastics. I wouldn't mind sticking with it and hoping to go to some of the bigger competitions."

"There's got to be something," Tom coaxed.

Grace was quiet for a long moment. "Don't laugh?"

"Of course not, Gracie," Peyton replied.

"I want to get my pilot's license," she told them shyly.

"Really?" her sisters asked. They hadn't known that Grace was interested in planes.

"Not for the big commercial planes," Grace explained. "Those little single engine planes."

"You'd be the first pilot in the family," said Faith.

"Yeah, but Mom's going to have a fit when she finds out," said Grace.

"Then we don't tell her," Faith said with a shrug. "Once we're out of school, we can do what we want. If you want to get your pilot's license, you can."

Grace grinned.

"Let us know when you get your license," said Peyton. "I wouldn't mind going for a ride."

Over the next two weeks, players began seeing the triplets less like the same person and more like individuals. It also helped that the girls weren't dressing almost identically, but they still did it to confuse people. Faith had taken to spray dying her hair different colors, Grace wore an aviator's jacket on occasion, and Hope could be seen standing on her tip-toes to build up the muscles in her feet.

It was clear to people that they no longer wanted to be treated like a packaged deal. They even went as far as changing their screen names to separate themselves. And though they were becoming more individual, it was clear that the sisters were as close as they'd ever been.
