"Um, Chaos? Why couldn't you have told us that a bit earlier? Then we wouldn't have to deal with this annoying, bargaining demon!" exclaimed Ross

"Oh." Was Chaos' only comment

"Now, now," said Blaze "the only reason that she is annoying because she is trying to bargain with us."

"That doesn't matter. She's still annoying either way, with or without the bargaining. But since we now might have the information we need without having to let the annoying demon go... now it just depends if her information is better than Chaos'." I said (I hope Chaos didn't get mad at me for saying that).

"Please don't kill meee!" she cried "I want to live!"

"Whoa, bit dramatic there." Said Blaze a bit surprised.

"Blaze watch her for a minute; I need to talk to Ace." Said Ross quietly

I nodded and lifted my blade the moment Blaze put his staff by her neck, not even giving her a chance to try and make an escape.

"Ace, first of all I hate the idea that we're dependent on her to gain some information! I mean look at her... she's ready to betray the person she works for just to live. How do we know that we can trust her, other than the oath on the River Styx? I'm not sure even that'll guarantee good information." Ross said

"I know, I know. Just give me a minute and I'll sort out everything." I said trying to reassure him.

Turning around to the she-demon I said "Ok first swear on the River Styx that the information that you'll give us will tell us who your leader is, then tell us everything you know."

Turning paler by the second, she nodded once, recited the oath, ad once the other two had nodded in acceptance of her oath, I motioned for her to continue.

"I'm only a minor leader, so I don't know exactly who our leader is, but... I can tell you that all his orders come far from the west, through the Monster Doughnutâ„¢ shops in each state. And if you're wondering: no there are more than one shop in each state, just in case something like you happen to come along and destroy a shop or two." she said reluctantly

"Are you sure there isn't anything else you want to tell us?" asked Blaze

"Because if you don't, your oath will let us know you didn't tell us all of what you know; as you head to Hades." Said Ross menacingly

"NO, NO," she said as she sobbed "I don't know anything else. I'm only a minor, and don't get told many things. But there was a rumor circulating..." she ended hopefully thinking that it would spare her from our (mostly Blaze and Ross') wrath.

"...that our boss..." she said haltingly

"TELL US ALREADY!" boomed Blaze

"Alright, alright." She said now totally afraid. "That our boss was a TITAN!"

After that; complete silence.

None of us knew what to do or say. It took us a while to process the thought that a titan was trying to attack us and lead another army of monsters against the world. Of course the Empouse using the time that we were struck dumb, took her leave of us. But we didn't need her anymore. We had found out more than enough,

"You may have found almost enough information to help you see your true enemy, which I was going to provide you with by the way (sorry Chaos ), but without proper training, you are maybe as good as an immortal; which means not good enough to beat a titan, while protecting everyone."

"Wait, what? Protecting everyone? Isn't the army just attacking us?" I asked confused now

"No child. All three of you were simply a thorn in their side; and although a large one, not one important enough to deviate from their original goal. The first thing every Titan seems to do. Think back Ace. Back to the Second Titan War."

I thought back, back to the first life I had, before I had to leave the camp and go into hiding. Back to when Annabeth and I still weren't a couple yet, but had feeling for each other. That's when I realized.

"God's of Olympus... they're going after Camp Half-Blood again aren't they?" I said in shock and fear.

"Yes child. And in the condition you three are in now, you cannot save everyone from death, much less protect them from getting injured."

"So tell us Chaos. What can we, no what do we do to get better?" Blaze asked

"Training, my boy. Train until you are able to beat a God on your own. Train till you can beat a Titan on your own. Train until you can beat a Primordial on your own. Then fight until you can beat all of them at once... on your own. Once you have done that you will be ready. Do not fear, for you still have time. You have 3 months to prepare yourselves. Do not worry about the rest of the world. If you cannot get yourself ready in time, there will be no world to save. Plus I will be speaking to the gods soon. Good luck my boys" and with that Chaos left.

I looked at Ross, who looked at Blaze, who looked back at me. Then we all burst into grins, and started running back to the city.

Now to all you readers it may seem like we finally snapped and had gone mad. I mean who would be smiling and grinning, and running off into the city when the weight of the world was on their shoulders. But remember I once held the sky. I know what I'm doing.

Although many of you may doubt us, thinking that I'm just overconfident, but like I said, I was not. First part of training: getting to know our powers. Chaos blessed both Blaze and Ross so they both became semi-immortal, and had teleporting powers like me; makes it much easier to travel to San Francisco. Why you may ask would we go to the place demigods were supposed to avoid. We needed information right? So we went to Nereus the one who (apparently) knows all. We cornered him in the bay of San Francisco (You know what? I bet he hasn't moved since I caught him last). Anyway, like his rule said one answer per capture. So we made the questions so vague that he had to tell us everything he knew before leaving. Then we caught him again in another minute; and made him answer more questions. By the time we were done, he looked like he would just answer any question if we would go away. But although he was really (really) smelly, his information was really, really valuable. Both Ross and Blaze leant of the powers that they inherited from their parents, and so we spent two months training our powers and weapon skills. For the last month we traveled around the whole country protecting demigods and hitting the Monster Doughnutâ„¢ shops hard. We got daily updates from chaos where to go, and overall I'd say we were improving. I had learnt to control my powers better and use them in combinations, including all of them at once, but I still have to learn how to hold it for a long time. Blaze learnt that he could, being the son of Hyperion, control both fire and light, allowing him to create illusions, use it to blast people away, and be resistant to fire. Ross on the other hand learnt that he had enhanced speed, aim, precision, and agility. He can also communicate with the wild animals, and control some of them that hunt, and see clearly in the night. With this new information as we traveled across the country, we prepared for the war that was clearly coming.

Although I don't know the situation between me and Annabeth anymore, I still worry about the camp and especially her. Once while we were taking a break, and eating a snack (the other two were eating a puppy in a blanket. I, personally, can't stand them every since I was chased by Medusa's sisters) they asked what I was holding him my hand. I looked down and found that I had unconsciously started rubbing the ring which I had placed on my camp necklace. So I explained the whole story, and they both promised to help me get my revenge on John.

In any case we fought a hoard of monster everywhere we went, and battled a bunch of monster I had already dealt with like the Minotaur, a bunch of Scythian Dracanae, etc. We even met Hagno and her group of nymphs. Of course she was enraged at how little of the wild was left, but somehow were able to calm her down and take her to a national park where her wild would always be protected. One way or another we ended up in Miami, where I re-met a really annoying brother of mine, Chrysaor. He wanted to take over the cruises at the dock, but thankfully we were able to stop him, and I am proud to say that I was able to stand up to his sword skills. This time to make sure he couldn't attack anyone again, we took away his all his armour and helmet, which Blaze took, and his sword which I took, although we searched the ship top to bottom we didn't find anything that would be of use to Ross.

"It's ok guys. I don't need anything." Ross calmed us "I already have enhanced aim, speed, and agility. Anything else would just weigh me down."

Oh ya, and a couple of the spoils we gained on our trip was the coat of the Nemean lion (which I tried to give to Ross, who gave it back to me), the head of Medusa (again? So fast? Something's wrong), which Ross instructed Blaze to put into his shield that he gained from Chrysaor. Ross did gain something in the end, the first feather of a pack of gryphons he defeated by himself, which he made into an earring (and somehow made himself look good), and the blood from the hydra we fought, which he poured down the barrel of his gun, now making all of his bullets, very, very deadly.

So basically that was our story of three months. At the end of our training time, we got a message from Chaos letting us know that it was time.

"Come on boys," I said turning towards the direction of Camp Half-Blood "it's time for us to go home."
