Starfire pressed a cold compress against Raven's forehead as she stared down into the steel wastebasket of the infirmary. The colors swimming in front of her eyes were finally starting to fade, the reality of the world around her starting to push their way into her vision. Raven wished she was still unconscious so she didn't have to hear the panicked voices behind the large steel doors, or the uncomfortable conversation between Robin and Bumblebee, deciding it would be better for the Titans East to return home for the time being. Aqualad did not visit Raven in the infirmary to say goodbye; he didn't apologize either. Raven didn't blame him, honestly. Raven preferred honesty, more than most other personality traits. With everyone treating her like she was made of glass, it was almost relieving to hear someone tell her the truth, even an ugly truth just as that.

"I am so sorry, Raven. I should not have invited our teammates to visit while you are recovering. It was ill of me. Please forgive me." The words carefully left Starfire's lips, slowing determining the proper words and grammar; she did not want her sincerity to be ruined by her broken english.

Raven peered up from the waste bucket.

"Don't blame yourself was no way you could have known it would have gone this way. YOu were just trying to cheer us up...Cheer me up….I could never thank you enough for that." The words felt empty coming from Raven's chest, but she knew they were genuine. She knew that she would be thankful to have said them someday.

Starfire smiled slightly, her warm eyes glancing over Raven's face. Raven could feel her pity, her friendship, her….longing?

"Thank you, Raven. That means very much to me….I hope that this will not impact our friendship any more than it has to." Raven shook her head.

"It won't impact our friendship at all, I promise. This is about Garth and his views, not about you. None of this is your fault."

Starfire struggled to make eye contact with her only female friend, causing Raven to feel her jealousy and regret seep out of her.

Raven's breath hitched. Did Starfire know? Had Robin disclosed their last few private encounters? Surely, as they had been romantically involved for so long, that he would still confide in her.

But does she know of Raven's sexual advances? Did she know of Raven's deep need for Robin underneath everything else?

Raven pursed her lips, contemplating bringing up such a delicate subject, knowing full well that while she was guaranteed an answer, it may not be an answer she was willing to hear.

Starfire nodded briefly before standing up.

"I shall fetch the others to let them know that you are feeling well again" she laced her fingers together before pressing them against her stomach. Without another word, she flew out of the room, leaving Raven with only an aluminum trash bin for comfort.

Bumblebee formally apologized to Raven via video phone. While there was only so much she could do in regards to Garth's actions, she wanted to express that his views were not a representation of the rest of the team. Raven accepted the apology immediately, despite knowing that it was not Bumblebee's to give; but she did not want an apology from Aqualad either.

The fallout of this interaction was embarrassing enough, but the worst part was feeling so...unforgiven.

Raven let the pads of her feet touch the floor, contemplating hovering to avoid swaying. Sucking enough wind into her nose to fill her lungs before straightening up her legs to stand.

Slowly stepping down the hall from the infirmary to her room, she contemplated the complexities of mind erasing spells. Perhaps it would be mostly beneficial if everyone were to forget the entire thing.

She spent the next hour in her bedroom, browsing her books for spells. Her fingers traced the lettering on the aged pages. It was only when night started to fall and the lightning started to strike that she heard a steady knock on the door.

Raven paused, sensing the visitor's presence. She felt her eyebrows furrow.

Raven tucked the book under her arm before approaching her bedroom door. When she opened it, she was surprised to see Robin, sweating and panting, cheeks and nose red.

His shirt was soaked in sweat, knuckles inflamed and hair askew. Raven could only assume he had gone down to the Tower's training room and knocked the punching bag around.

"Robin, what's going on? Train a little too hard?" She meant for the delivery to be light, but found her voice to fall flat.

His shoulders rose up and down, heaving the oxygen in and out of his lungs. Why was he looking at her this way?

"I thought I could just fight this off but...I was wrong. I can't...You've been right, all along. I should have listened to you when you told me what you wanted...what you needed….because I...I need it too."

His hands reached out slowly, gripping her hips tightly. She could feel the heat from his palms through the fabric of her clothing.

"But it needs to be your choice. Your decision. No one else's, even mine." He swallowed, running his eyes up and down Raven's tiny form before continuing.

" Because I know I will be okay, no matter what decision you make."

He sighed, shut his eyes, and leaned forward slightly. His heart was bare; he had never felt more exposed.

Gentle lips pressed against his; he caught the scent of lavender; he was convinced his lungs might explode.

Raven's arm encased his neck, pulling him closer into her. He pulled her tight against himself, losing breath as his heart began to quicken.

Raven's lithe fingers eagerly pulled at the collar of Robin's sweat stained shirt. The smell was taunting her; she needed to feel and smell his essence; she needed to touch his bare skin.

Robin did not hesitate before pulling away briefly to rid himself of the shirt. Raven's hands graced his shoulders, his chest before returning back to his neck and face.

Robin's hands crept quietly underneath the hem of her top. They sat at her waist for a moment before inching their way up her back.

Raven pulled away suddenly. Before Robin had a moment to panic, Raven had pushed him onto her bed, straddled him and started to remove her own shirt. Robin was taken aback by the sheer blue lace underneath before she pressed her lips against his again.

She pulled Robins hands from the bed and placed his palms against her breasts before pushing her groin into his. Robin's hips bucked instantly, giving away the tension building beneath his clothing.

His quiet grunting became a moan as her lips explored his neck, his ears, his shoulders. His hands slipped behind her back, unclasping her bra before moving his hands downward to cup her ass. He pulled her down harder against him, allowing her to continue to grind against him.

He wanted her to have control, but his need was rapidly building inside. Before long he could not longer control himself. He flipped her onto her back, pressed his member against her before ravaging her neck. Raven let out a gasp of breath, arching her back.

Robin took this opportunity to begin lowering Raven's pants down, feeling his body spark when he felt his hands brush against her ivory thighs.

He knew what to do next, and seeing this beautiful woman he had fallen for so hard exposed below him only convinced him of his next step.

"If you need me to stop, tell me...alright?"

Raven nodded in understanding, face flushed and hair spread against the sheets. Her breasts heaved with her chest as the beginnings of sweat started to dew upon her stomach.

Robin pressed his mouth into her thighs, leaving kisses and small nips in his wake. When he reached the area between her thighs, she let out a gasp that dissolve quickly into a moan. Wherever his tongue explored triggered a reaction, whether it was a gasp or a squirm. Before long she was panting heavily, trying to speak but stumbling over her words.

He pressed the palms of his hands to the outside of her thighs, positioning his hips between her knees.

He placed his tip against her entrance and paused, raising his eyes from her breasts to her face. She could see his hesitation, his concern. Suddenly all of his insecurities with their actions were catching up with him again.

Raven propped herself up onto her elbows, staring into his stormy blue eyes, his mask long disappeared in the mess of his sheets.

She leaned forward, pressing all of her need into his lips with her own. His arms encased her waist, allowing hers to wrap around his neck.

When he entered her, he let out a groan of pleasure; Raven let out a cry of relief.

Light Bulbs burst surrounded in dark energy; Books and papers from Raven's bookshelf fluttered across the room; the first time Raven's powers manifested in weeks.
