Chapter 11

I find Big Brother on top of the rooftop far from the fighting arena. I eagerly fly in front of him with a giant smile on my face. His eyes are still closed as if he doesn't know I'm here. Even waving my hands I front of him, he still stood tall.

"Big Brother~," I said happily.

"What is it?" Big Brother groaned.

"I won my first fight! I'm going to the second round!"

"You merely beat a measly human. What's so exciting about that?"

"Aren't you proud? I'll be fighting Goku in the next round!"

"The only thing is on my mind is killing Goku, Kurai. I don't need to hear about your simple victory over a human." My smile slowly falls to a frown as he continued. "Now either watch the tournament or go somewhere else for the time being. Just stay out of trouble and out of my way."

I hang my head down and mumble, "yes, Big Brother…" and fly away to resting area. I sit in the corner and wait for the next round to be announced.

Why wasn't Big Brother proud? I won my first fight in my life! Does a strong human don't count as a win to him? Maybe if I actually fight and beat Goku, he'll actually be proud of me. He'll probably drop the cold face he has. I just have to make him proud. I can't lose!

"Hello everyone!" the main announcer cheered, "the second match of the Quarter Finals are about to begin! Will Son Goku and Anonymous please come to the arena?"

Goku is fighting now? Crap! I forgot!

I run out of the resting area and jump to the top of the rooftops. I notice Big Brother not too far from me. He seems really interested in the fight as I am. Honestly, I can't blame him. I want to see how much power he has and I definitely know Big Brother is eager to know as well.

I watch as Goku and a woman, who looks very pissed right now. Both stood in different sides of the arena as they wait for announcer's call to begin.

This should be a short fight. That lady's ki is very weak after all.

But as I sense her energy more closely, it actually feels…angry?

What the hell could she be mad about? Maybe because she knows she won't win against Goku… If so, then she might as well give up.

"Alright fighters," the announcer announced, "you may…BEGIN!"

Anonymous immediately rushes towards Goku and furiously attack him with quick jabs and kicks. But Goku easily dodges her attacks, not even trying to fight back.

"How could you forget about our promise?" Anonymous barked as Goku leaps away from her, "do I mean anything to you?"

"I'm sorry," Goku said, "but I have no idea what you're talking about? Have we met before?"

The furious woman angrily attacks him again, angrier than before by Goku's response. "Of course we have! How dense can you be?"

So Goku and this woman must have known each other… But what I still don't understand is what was the 'promise' Goku obviously doesn't remember?

Goku jumps about twenty feet in the air with ease, but Anonymous follows him and yet again attacks him angrily. After repeatedly dodging the woman's assaults, they both land on opposite sides of the arena, barely breaking a sweat.

"Please, I'm being honest here," Goku said gently, "can you please tell me what I promised?"

"You still don't remember!" Anonymous yelled angrily, "fine! I'll tell you! The promise you broke was to become my husband! YOU PROMISED TO MARRY ME!"

All of Goku's friends and many people of the audience gasp in shock and surprise.

Marry? What does that mean…?

Goku asks his friends at the arena entrance what a bride is, disappointing his friends of his knowledge of such a promise. The short bald man simply explains it's when a man and a woman spend their entire lives together.

Who would make a stupid promise like that?

Goku asks the woman's name, but she quickly refuses. But she will only do so if Goku beats her. Goku happily accepts her wager. Goku gets in a fighting stance and pulls his fist back, quickly jabbing a punch in midair. The force of punch actually creates a strong force and knocks the woman out of the ring.

Amazing! He didn't even hit her and he still knocked her out! To top it all, he didn't even use any of his energy! Even though I hate the guy, I'll have a good rush in our fight.

As the announcer declares Goku the winner, I rush to the resting area and await for Goku's return. Finally, he comes in with his human friends and the woman who now goes by 'Chi Chi'. During their conversation, Goku takes a glance towards me with a strange look in his eyes.

"Hi!" Goku called to me, "looks like we're fighting in the semi-finals after this. I wish you good luck!"

There he goes again! He's acting nice to me! Why is he always happy-go-lucky whenever I see him?

I give him an irritated look as I point my finger towards him. "Look! I don't know what your game is, but I'll tell you this, Bed Head! I don't like you, not even a bit! I'm going to beat your ass until you're a bloody pulp! So don't go acting nice to me, you damn bastard! Remember that!"

With that, I storm off and return to the rooftops along with Big Brother.

"You feel any better now," Big Brother said sarcastically.

I glare daggers towards him. "Do me a favor and shut up..."

"What's with the sudden hostility?"

"Your match is coming up, right? Should you be concentrating on that?"

He smirks at my retort. "I have no worry over a bald midget. Goku is my first priority."

Suddenly, the announcer's voice booms through the speakers. "The 3rd round of the World Martial Arts Tournament is about to begin. Will Krillin and Ma Junior come to the ring?"

"Good luck…" I said boringly.

"Don't need it," he snorted as he flies to the arena.

When he left, I growled mentally at his earlier retort.

Stupid Big Brother…! He only cares about fighting Goku instead of me! Well too bad for him! When I fight Goku…I'M KILLING HIM FIRST!

AN: And thus a chapter is complete! I truly apologize for the late update! I'm working on this and Destiny Written in Blood (A Black Butler Fanfic).

Anyways, looks like Kurai is denying her 'Big Brother's' orders. Will she actually succeed in her mission. If not, how will Piccolo take this betrayal of his own blood. You'll find out next time on...A Broken Soul!
