The group entered the TARDIS. The Doctor immediately began pulling levers and pressing button. The Pokemon felt much more relaxed as they stood inside the great time machine.

"What about Doctor Song," Canton asked, "She dove off a rooftop." The two Pokemon suddenly looked much less relaxed. The both began to panic at this news.

The Doctor, however, was not worried in the slightest. "Don't worry," he said continuing to work at the console, "She does that. Amy, Rory, open all the doors to the swimming pool." The married couple did just that. The Doctor then pulled a lever, opening the front doors. A blur of blonde curls and a blue evening gown went flying past them all. They heard a splash, and a few moments later, River was walking into the control room, drying herself off.

Both Pokemon were more than relieved to see that she was alright, Smithy wagging his tail happily as he saw her. She smiled at him for a second before scratching him behind the ear. "Good to see you too," she said.

"So," the Doctor said, getting everyone's attention, "we know they're everywhere. Not just a landing party, an occupying force, and they 'have been here a very, very long time. But nobody knows that, because no one can remember them."

"So what are they up to?" Canton asked.

"No idea," the Doctor said with a smile, "But the good news is, we've got a secret weapon." He then began walking over towards the front doors. When he opened them, they were greeted with the sight of a rocket on launch pad nearby.

The Pokemon, like everyone else, were in awe. "Is this what space ships in Hoenn look like?" Smithy asked. Aaron just shrugged in response.

"Apollo 11's your secret weapon?" River asked incredulously.

"No, no. It's not Apollo 11," the Doctor said, as if it were obvious, "That would be silly. It's Neil Armstrong's foot."

(Time skip)

Everyone was gathered around the TARDIS console. The Doctor had pulled out what looked like some kind of glue gun. He suddenly pulled out Canton's and used it to inject something into it. "Ow!" Canton exclaimed.

"Ha," was all the Doctor said in response before moving on to the next person, "So, three months. What have we found out?"

"Well, they are everywhere," Rory said, "Every state in America. Ahh."

The Doctor suddenly injected Rory's hand as well. "Not just America, the entire world," he corrected.

"There's a greater concentration here, though," River said.

The Doctor moved on to Smithy and Aaron. Neither knew what he was trying to do and kept running away from him. Finally he cornered them and injected one of Smithy's bows and Aaron's palm with whatever weird thing he had injected the others with. "Sorry," he briefly said as Aaron growled at him. Then he moved onto Amy.

"Ow!" she exclaimed.

The two Pokemon heard the Doctor say "Are you okay?" Before their conversation became hushed.

"He didn't ask if I was ok," Aaron said, as he rubbed his hand.

"Oh shush," Smithly said, rubbing his ribbon. Suddenly Canton spoke up, catching their attention.

"So you've seen them, but you don't remember them," he said.

"You've seen them, too. That night at the warehouse, remember?" River said, "While you were pretending to hunt us down, we saw hundreds of those things. We still don't know what they look like."

"While we can't remember what they look like, I at least know they're pretty easy to take down," Aaron said.

"Yeah, but they're like zubat. If there's one, there's a whole swarm near by," Smithy said. Aaron nodded in agreement.

"It's like they edit themselves out of your memory as soon as you look away," Rory said, oblivious to the commentary of the two Pokemon,"The exact second you're not looking at them, you can't remember anything."

"Sometimes you feel a bit sick, though, but not always," Amy said.

"So that's why you marked your skin!" Canton said in understanding.

"Only way we'd know if we'd had an encounter," Amy said with a shrug.

"It wasn't fun to get out of my fur though..." Smithy grumbled.

"How long have they been here?" Canton asked.

"That's what we've spent the last three months trying to find out," Amy responded.

"Not easy, if you can't remember anything you discover," Rory complained.

"How long do you think?" Canton asked.

"As long as there's been something in the corner of your eye, or creaking in your house, or breathing under your bed, or voices through a wall," the Doctor said, drawing attention to himself, "They've been running your lives for a very long time now, so keep this straight in your head. We are not fighting an alien invasion, we're leading a revolution. And today, the battle begins."

"How?" Canton asked.

"Like this," and with that the Doctor injected something into Rivers hand, causing her to yelp. He "Nanorecorder," he said laughing. "Fuses with the cartilage in your hand. Ow," he said injecting himself, " And it tunes itself directly to the speech centres in your brain. It'll pick up your voice, no matter what. Telepathic connection. So, the moment you see one of the creatures, you activate it, and describe aloud exactly what you're seeing." He pressed the button while he was talking and then pressed it again. It then spouted the last part of his explanation. "Because the moment you break contact, you're going to forget it happened," he said, "The light will flash if you've left yourself a message. You keep checking your hand if you've had an encounter. That's the first you'll know about it."

"Why didn't you tell me this before we started?" Canton asked.

"I did, but even information about these creatures erases itself over time. I couldn't refresh it because I couldn't talk to you," the Doctor explained.

Canton stood there for a second, taking in the information. He turned slightly, thinking that he had seen something out of the corner of his eye and then turned back. For some reason, he couldn't help but feel like straightening the Doctor's bow tie. All of a sudden, everyone was staring at him like they'd seen a ghost. Smithy was even growling at him! "What? What are you staring at?" he asked.

"Look at your hand," River said quietly. He looked down to see that his hand was flashing, and he notice that Smithy wasn't growling at him, but the hand.

"Why is it doing that?" he asked nervously.

"What does it mean if the light's flashing? What did I just tell you?" the Doctor said very carefully.

"I haven't-," he started, but the doctor stopped him.

"Play it" the Doctor said. Canton pressed the button, and it started playing.

"My God, how did it get in here?"

"Keep eye contact with the creature and, when I say, turn back, and when you do, straighten my bow tie."

*growling*

"What? What are you staring at?"

"Look at your hand."

Everyone turned to see one of the aliens standing in front of them. "It's a hologram, extrapolated from the photo on Amy's phone," the Doctor said, causing everyone to relax, "Take a good, long look." He then turned off the image. "You just saw an image of one of the creatures we're fighting. Describe it to me," he said.

canton thought for a minute before saying, "I can't."

The Doctor sighed. "No. Neither can I. You straightened my bow tie because I planted the idea in your head while you were looking at the creature." he said.

"So they could do that to people. You could be doing stuff and not really knowing why you're doing it." Amy said.

"Like posthypnotic suggestion," Rory piped in

"Ruling the world with posthypnotic suggestion?" Amy asked.

"Sounds more like we're dealing with ghost or psychic types than aliens," Aaron said.

"Now then, a little girl in a spacesuit," the Doctor said, moving back to the controls and typing in coordinates, "They got the suit from NASA, but where did they get the girl?"

"It could be anywhere," Canton said.

"Except they'd probably stay close to that warehouse, because why bother doing anything else? And they'd take her from somewhere that would cause the least amount of attention. But you'll have to find her. Smithy will go with you. I'm off to NASA," the Doctor said, still at the controls.

"Find her? Where do we look?" Canton asked.

The Doctor the turned to him. "Children's homes," he said, pulling a lever.
