Haiii! How you been? I've been okay. The internet is finally working! Yasssss!
B-Gal2000, SHHHH SHHHHHHHHH! You will see why Mitch and Butch don't like each other within time :) Okay? I promise!
No one's P.O.V
Brick and Blossom were given the task of putting the luggage into the cars. Blossom sighed,
"Brick, babe, are you sure that you don't need my help?" Brick frowned and put his hand up to stop her,
"Please, I think I can do this by myself. Just watch me. I am awesome at Tetris! I got this!" She rolled her eyes,
"Fine then."
"..."
She rolled her eyes again,
"See this is the type of attitude that makes me reluctant to help you when you want it." He paid no attention to her and waved her off.
He continued placing the luggage into the trunks and finished it within minutes. All of their luggage fit into the trunks perfectly. He smirked,
"See, I told you I could do it." This time she waved him off and walked away,
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's get Buttercup already." He pouted and ran after her,
"Awww, Babe! Don't be mad!" She shrugged,
"I'm not mad." Brick poked her side,
"You always act calm when you're mad." She rolled her eyes and turned to him,
"I already told you: I'm not mad." Brick squished her cheeks together and sandwiched her lips in between,
"You are bad at lying. You are definitely mad." She immediately slapped his hands away and gritted her teeth,
"I'm. Not. Mad" Brick obviously didn't get the memo and continued on,
"You're grinding your teeth. If you're not mad, then what are you? I saved you from doing any work, so you should be happy that you didn't have to lift anything." She smacked him on the back of the head,
"I'M NOT MAD, YOU IDIOT!" And then she ran away into the house. He rubbed the back of his head and smirked,
"She's so hot when she's mad."
"Buttercup, get up. You do remember that we were going to take you somewhere, right?"
Buttercup's eyes fluttered open slowly at the sound of Mitch's voice, who was currently shaking her away gently.
After their breakfast, all of them went into the living-room. They chatted, and watched movies. Lunch passed, the guys left to do something and she decided to take a nap on the couch.
She yawned,
"What time is it?" Bubbles helped her up,
"Girl, come on, put on your shoes, we're leaving.
"Can you at least" *yawn* "tell me where you're planning to take me?" Blossom answered for Bubbles,
"Nope it's a surprise, you'll know when we get there." Buttercup pouted,
"Aww, you guys are no fun." Boomer chuckled,
"Yeah, sure we're no fun. Just wait until we arrive, then you'll change your mind." They heard a loud clap and turned to the cause of the noise, Brick,
"Okay, does everyone have everything?" Everyone nodded except for Buttercup,
"Am I supposed to bring something too." Brick shook his head,
"Nope, yourself should be enough."
"Oh, okay."
They were taking two cars: Brick's and Boomer's. Mitch and Buttercup hitched a ride with Boomer and Bubbles. It would have been a waste of gas to take Mitch's car too when there was only 6 people going. [about 5 people can fit in an average (small) car. 2 up front, 3 in the back].
After a few hours of driving behind Brick's car, a road sign caught Buttercup's attention,
"OH. MY. GAWD! We're going to the shore?!" Boomer chuckled, still looking straight on the road,
"Who's no fun now? We'll be arriving in ten minutes or so and will be staying over 2 nights." Bubbles giggled,
"Surprise! It's way better than staying in the hospital, right?" Buttercup smiled,
"Yeah, way better, thanks guys. It's been too long! I'm gonna surf for the first time in 5 ever! " Mitch ruffled her hair,
"Don't get too excited and over exert yourself. You can't go into the water too deep either, can't risk having your wound get infected." She pouted a little bit and visibly saddened,
"Aww, you're right. I can't" Bubbles turned around and glared at Mitch, promising death if he didn't fix it. He immediately tried to cheer Buttercup up,
"We can still go to the game booths and win some prizes." That brought her mood up and Bubbles went back to smiling. Mitch let out a breath of relief and Buttercup laughed,
"I bet that I can hoard more prizes than you!" He rose an eyebrow in amusement,
"Yeah, sure you can- You cripple." Sarcasm evident in his tone. She slapped his arm,
"I can easily beat you in this condition!" He put his hands up in defense,
"I'm just saying." Buttercup rolled her eyes playfully,
"Whatever." Bubbles chuckled at their antics and began gazing out of the window.
Within 10 minutes, they pulled into the parking garage of the hotel they were going to reside in and parked next to each other. They all exited their vehicles and stretched. It was already way too late to be going to the shore because it was 9:00, so the gang decided to just check into the hotel. Blossom and Bubbles held onto Buttercup to make sure that she was stabled.
At the lobby of the hotel Brick broke off with the group to get the rooms.
He walked over to the counter and came back 5 minutes later with three hotel keys and spares. So, basically two keys per room.
"Each person will have a key to their rooms." Buttercup sighed,
"So, guys how are we rooming?" Bubbles and Blossom immediately shot their hands up,
"DIBS ON BUTTERCUP!" They froze and glared at each other. Bubbles growled at Blossom,
"I am so not switching on the two nights we are here like we did in the hospital! She's so comfy! Let me stay with her!" Blossom growled back,
"Well, neither am I! Since I'm older, I get priorities!" Boomer and Brick looked a bit depressed that their own girlfriends didn't want to room with them, but it was understandable since they nearly lost her.
"ENOUGH!" The girls stopped arguing to look at Mitch, who was slightly annoyed,
"I say Buttercup should decide who she rooms with." Brick nodded
"That's fair." They rolled their eyes and began giving puppy dog eyes to Buttercup.
Buttercup glared at Mitch thinking,"What have you done?!". She sighed,
"I'm not going to room with you Blossom or with you Bubbles. I think I'll room with Mitch and you guys can room those two."
Mitch shrugged and the girls glared at him,
"I think that's a good compromise. I really did not want to sleep next to one of these two fools." He pointed at Brick and Boomer at the last part. Boomer and Brick growled, but nodded their heads in agreement.
Besides the Jojos, Mitch was the only other boy that the girls have known since childhood. Since Pokey Oaks Kindergarten to be fact, back then, the only Utonium sister to actually play with him was Buttercup. She trusts him just as much as she trusted Butch
Blossom and Bubbles didn't really like to talk to him though. Why? Because he was an asshole back then.
Clad in his 'Mitch Rocks' tee shirt and stupid smirk. He made fun of Elmer Sglue, even though Buttercup had her fair share in that, and tormenting poor little Twiggy. Ahhhh...Twiggy the hamster...It was Mitch's turn to take care of the small hamster and he was using and abusing the poor thing. It took the three girls and an angry, grudge-holding hamster to change him. After middle school, the other two Utoniums befriended Mitch and became close, but not as close as he was to Buttercup.
That's the reason why Buttercup chose him over everyone.
Although their relationship didn't start so great...But not all relationships start off nice and dandy, so its okay.
Like when the girls first met the Jojos, the boys picked a fight with them! They literally waltzed in out of nowhere and fought the girls! No holding back on both ends naturally. The girls ended the fight by kissing them on the cheeks. And, because of the guys' fear of 'girl cooties', they explode in anger. They returned a bit later after they received a 'cootie shot' with new hairdos and slightly different personalities. (Did anyone notice that? I mean, Butch never twitched when he fought and Boomer wasn't always an idiot)
During their second encounter, the boys were a lot more disgusting. Hacking loogies and doing disgusting things to psych the girls out, but it worked. The girls would have lost, but they manage to defeat them by threatening their 'masculinity' (As if three five-year-old boys would have masculinity), sending them crying to their father... I mean to their mother...Ughhhh! Whatever the hell that thing was.
The boys and the girls often got into fights whenever they met each other. It was usually because the boys were doing uncivil things. The girls even turned to Princess Morbucks for help at one point. Eventually, both sides became tired of meaningless battles and made a truce. They ended up finding that they had a lot more in common than they thought. Over the years, the six of them became best-friends and eventually, the reds and blues became a couple. Anyways... where were we?
Brick sighed and gave everyone their room keys,
"Okay, the rooms are on the 12th floor of the Platinum part of the hotel." They all nodded and got moving.
The different towers really depended on the type of rooms they got. Brick got some of the best rooms the hotel could offer, which were all in the Platinum tower.
They all went to the elevators and within minutes, they were standing in front of their hotel rooms. Rooms P202, P203, and P204. Mitch and Buttercup were in the first, then the Blues, and then the Reds.
Every two rooms had a doorway, with two doors of course. You can open the one in your room, but unless the other person in the other room opens their door, you ain't gettin in. It seems like the Blues and Reds got lucky and got rooms that were linked together. Mitch and Buttercup 's rooms were linked to another person's room.
After a few minutes, Bubbles came storming into their hotel room with some green luggage. Buttercup smiled at her,
"I was about to freak out. I was not going to be here for a couple days wearing the same clothes. You packed my essentials, right? " Bubbles nodded quickly,
"Yup, they're right on the outside pockets" And like that she was gone. Buttercup furrowed her brows,
"What the heck is wrong with her?" She shrugged it off and examined the deluxe room. A huge king sized bed in the middle of the room, a futon by the windows with a nice view of the beach, a mini kitchen area, a bathroom with a Jacuzzi, nice big glass shower, a huge flat-screen TV, etc. She shook her head,
"I should've known better. This is the Brick Jojo I'm talking about here. Of course he would choose such fancy hotel rooms." She sat on the bed and Mitch left to go shower. She didn't have to really change. Her clothes were clean and comfortable already, she wasn't really hungry either. On their way to the shore, they all stopped for some fast food, so all she had to do was brush her teeth and she already got that down.
She sighed and picked up the remote for the TV and began to flip through the channels. Mitch came out of the bathroom wearing only loose pajama bottoms and his hair clung to his skin. He ran his hands through his wet hair and sighed.
Walking over to the bed he grabbed a pillow and blanket, then he walked over to the futon.
Buttercup watched him the whole way,
"Mitch, what are you doing?" He turned to her and rose a brow,
"What? You sleep on the bed, I'll sleep here." She frowned,
"Really? What are you, 5? I'm not going to bite. We're both friends here. Plus this bed is huge! You can have your side and I'll have mine." Mitch thought about for a minute but didn't move.
Buttercup rolled her eyes and turned off the TV. She then got up, grabbed Mitch's hand, dragged him to the bed and pushed him until his legs hit the bed and he fell over, she fell on top of him, but got up and put her hands on her hips.
"Jeez, do you need me to tuck you in too?" She didn't realize this, but Mitch's face was slightly pink. Like who wouldn't be blushing. From an outsider's POV, that would look very intimate.
She limped her way around the bed and went on her side. Mitch immediately shut off the lights and went to his side. Buttecup smiled and turned her back towards him,
"Jeez, was that so hard?"
You guys don't actually have to read this. It's just meaningless ranting by moi. I do this quite a bit, so just skip all of this and continue onto reading another Fanfic or the next chapter (depending on when you're reading this). Mmmkay? Byeee :)
Okay. I ALWAYS read my reviews because I am a self-conscious prick and when I get no feedback, it literally kills me inside.
There was one review that kind of bothered me.
CuttieePiiee chapter 1 . Jun 12
Brute is suppose to be a tough hardcore girl. She finds love disgusting. Out of her sister she is the least talkative. Matter a fact she finds love disguting. So this personalitity people are making up about as slutty boyfriend stealer is fake!
BTW: In my childhood, this was the rule my cousins and I lived by: Hit me once, I hit you back twice as hard. But I like being fair so... you critiqued me, I critique you. It's "disgusting", "personality" and I do believe the saying is "matter of fact". I know that you have freedom of speech, but as do I. So if you are following this story, which you probably aren't because you didn't seem to like it from the very first chapter, please read this, CuttieePiiee.
Now I might being blowing your shit with this, but you're a guest. I can't really explain myself to you in any other way...
I know how Brute's character is and I thank you for your review, whether it was an insult or criticism. (I'm seriously hoping it was criticism)
I understand your point believe me, but you need to understand that this is just a FnF, so it should be normal, sometimes, when a character is OOC (AKA: Out Of Character)
I'm not getting paid to write. I am doing this because it's fun and an out-plug for life. I have the freedom to write what ever as long as I am not plagiarizing and disobeying the law. Which BTW is not likely because the only illegal thing that I have done was get caught jaywalking... I have learned my lesson
(━┳━ _ ━┳━)
Naturally, I have no rights to any of the characters, just like the many other authors on this website and community, but the way I portray the characters are mine to decide. I'm sorry if you are discontented with my version of Brute, but I only made her this way to match the story and plot-line. If I put in her real personality, it wouldn't blend as well with everything. At least, that's what I feel in my gut as an author.
To those of you who stayed to read this, I'm sorry for wasting your time, but I felt like this needed to be put out there.
If anyone doesn't like something about my story, I am and always will be, opened to suggestions. Just try not to be inconsiderate...
