Tori stared at Jade with a confused expression, she had no idea what the hell the other girl was talking about now. Jade was mentally beating herself up for opening her stupid mouth.
"Jade...what are you talking about?". She asked staring at her intently. Jade cleared her throat and glanced at Trina who was staring intently at the young couple. She rolled her eyes and grabbed onto Tori's wrist and began leading her up the stairs to her bedroom. Trina jumped up out her seat.
"Wha- where are you guys going? You can't leave me like this!", she yelled after them in desperate need for drama. The older sister slumped back down onto the couch and folded her arms over her chest pouting.
Jade pulled Tori into her room and closed the door behind them, locking it just in case Trina decided to randomly pop up.
"Ok now will you tell me what's going on?", she asked folding her arms. Jade closed her eyes for a second leaning her back against the bedroom door.
"When my mom died freshman year, my dad...bailed on me. Not physically just emotionally he was gone, I had no one except Beck. He was my safe haven you know? He listened to me, he held me whenever I started to cry and he made a promise that he would always be by my side". She quickly wiped a tear as it fell down her cheek.
Tori's gaze became softer as she listened to her girl speak.
"And for a really long time I was ok with that because I finally had someone who was going to be there for me, and then you showed up with your smiles and your bubbly personality, and your inability to be held down for too long. And you saw right through me, you fucking ruined me for anyone else Vega. And now you're the only person capable of hurting me", she confessed.
Tori took a step closer to the girl who looked like she was finally about to break down, "Jade I would never hurt you, all I want it to love you...please tell me you know that".
Jade let out a bitter laugh, "anyone is capable of hurting the person they love….who's to say you won't find someone better...someone nicer and can treat you the way you deserve to be treated...someone who doesn't come with so much baggage like...Angela". That name left a bitter taste on her tongue.
Tori smiled softly standing directly in front of Jade, "that would be too easy...I don't want easy Jade. I want random moods swings and coffee runs at 2 in the morning, I want daily make out sessions in the janitor's closet, I want to be the person calming you down beating Sinjin to a pulp". That got a little laugh out of Jade, Tori reached forward and took the goths hand in her own.
"I want crazy and and I want yelling at each other at the top of our lungs in the middle of night, and I only want it with you.", she pressed Jade's hand that she held against her heart. The tears were now silently running down her face, she didn't even bother stopping them anymore. Tori Vega had officially broken her and she wouldn't have it any other way, even if that meant losing Beck.
"I love you Jade".
"I love you too Vega".
"I KNEEEW IIT!", both girls quickly jumped apart at the sound of a very loud voice. Jade turned around and quickly opened the door only to feet Trina smiling wide on the other side.
"Hiiiiii", she sang out.
"Trina! Were you listening in this whole time?" Tori asked accusingly. The older girl knew their was no point in denying it.
"A duuhh what did you expect?", she spoke as if Tori was to know better. The younger Vega rested her hand on her hips in frustration.
"Oh I don;t know maybe you would be a decent human being for once and let us have our space?". Trina let out a heart laugh.
"Oh..that's a stupid thought", she turned around and began making her way down the hall..most likely to her bedroom. Jade yelled after her. "NO ONE LIKES YOU!". She closed the door before the older girl had a chance to respond.
Tori bit her bottom lip nervously, "soooo...what happens now?". Jade smiled softly and slowly snaked her arm around the girls slim waist.
"Now...I get you out these clothes and make up for lost times", she said suggestively. "And then tomorrow...I talk to Beck". Tori rested her forehead against Jade's smiling softly at the butterflies now forming in her stomach. They were really doing this.
She pulled Jade in by the neck kissing her deeply, got how she missed those lips. Jade slowly began leading them over to the bed as she discarded the sweater that she was wearing. She pushed Tori onto the bed, which cause the young girl to let out a giggle.
Jade smiled and pulled her shirt off over her head, before climbing on top of her girl capturing her lips between own. Tori ran her hands up Jades back wrapping her legs around her waist, she whispered on her lips.
"I missed you". Jade looked down at Tori who was staring up at her with nothing but love. This was where she was supposed to be. She leaned down and kissed her softly.
"I'm never leaving you again". Tori flipped her over straddling her waist, and pulled her shirt off. She was gonna make Jade makeup for every tear she spilt over her.
Next day at School
Jade walked through the double doors of Hollywood Arts with a cup of coffee in her hand and light skip in her step. Last night was definitely worth all the emotional stress she's been under for the last week or so. Her light mood quickly dissolved when she saw Beck waiting for her at her locker, wearing that boyishly charming smile that would usually make all the girls go weak. Sadly that wasn't the smile that made her go weak anymore.
"Hello there beautiful...you seem to be in a better mood", he stated leaning down to kiss her cheek.
"I relieved a lot of stress last night", replied Jade as she began opening her opening her locker. Beck slid his hands in his pockets and nodded at a couple of friends in passing.
"Oh yeah?...how did you do that?", he asked in a curious tone. Beck was trying for days to get Jade out of her funky mood he was eager to know what changed within a day.
Jade gave him a nonchalant shrug, "I just decided to work out for a couple hours is...it's a really good way feel better". She began riffling through her locker trying to find her music book.
"Hmm...since when does fucking Tori counts as working out?", he asked. His found remained as calm as it always was, but his eyes were no longer warm and loving. All the blood in Jade's body went still, she was going to murder Robbie in his sleep with a knife. Jade just stared at the insides of her locker too afraid to look at him, Beck took a step closer to her.
"I overheard Robbie spilling everything to Andre yesterday in the black box theater, I knew it couldn't be true because you would never hurt me like that. But last night when I went to your house to clear everything up I saw that your car was gone...I found that to be a little bit odd because you told me that you would be staying in for the rest of the night". Jade held onto the side of her locker door so tightly her knuckles were turning white.
"Can we..please not do this here?", she asked quietly. The last thing she needed was someone else eavesdropping on their conversation, but in that moment Beck could give a rats ass about what she needed. So he chose to ignore her request.
"Something told me...to drive by Tori's house. I guess I wanted to make a point to myself that you weren't capable of doing such a thing….but then I saw your car in her driveway and I got this feeling in my stomach that something was wrong.", he swallowed the lump in his throat as his eyes began to well up. Jade lowered her head in shame, this was not how she wanted him to find about them.
"I saw you...through her window. You know if you're gonna cheat on someone you should really learn how to close a fucking blind", he stated bitterly as he wiped the tears from his eyes.
Jade tried to reach out and touched his arm but Beck quickly stepped out of her way, "Beck please just let me explain ok...I don't to lose you" she pleaded softly.
"Yeah well you should've thought about that before you went behind my back and slept with Tori", he fixed the strap of his backpack on his shoulder and stormed away from her. Jade closed her locker and rested her forehead against it, she wanted to tell Beck about her and Tori in a quiet place where she could explain herself.
Jade felt a tender hand on her shoulder, she knew who it was right away. The young girl turned around slowly to the face of Tori Vega herself staring back at her sympathetically
"I take it he didn't respond so well when you told him?",she asked judging by the look on her girls face.
"I didn't tell him anything...he overheard Robbie telling Andre yesterday in the blackbox theater and then he saw us through your window last night". She sighed rubbing her forehead slowly, she could feel the headache coming on.
Tori groaned softly making a mental note to punch Robbie in the throat later, "shit Jade I am so sorry...I don't know what to say". She rubbed Jade's arm in a comforting manner. Jade smiled warmly and took Tori's hand in her own. "Meet me in the closet at lunch?...I need a pick me up" she says grinning softly.
Tori let out a little laugh, "hahaha I thought we already were in the closet", she said smiling cheekily. Jade rolled her eyes at her lame attempt.
Tori giggled softly, "you got it babe". Just then the bell for first period rang and the girls hard to part ways. Jade tapped Tori's nose lightly with her finger as a way of saying goodbye and they both went their separate ways.
Jade was racking her brain trying to figure out a way to fix things with Beck, she figured the best thing she could do right now was give him some space and let him come to terms with everything.
