I will try to write another chapter today and post it tomorrow or next week sometime, unless I get to finish and edit it before work, in which case I'll post it later today. Anyway, hope you enjoyed. I'm really trying to keep up with this story. I know it's annoying when I take a long time to update and I apologize.
To my reviewers. You are the best! And the reason I got back to this story, so thank you because I'm enjoying writing it.
I don't own the characters, just the plot. Hope everyone enjoys!
Whoops... Trigger warnings: not sure how to phrase it without giving stuff away but honestly if you've read my other chapters up to this point, then this chapter will be nothing in comparison.

Tony turned down a corridor conversing amicable with JARVIS as he walked. "Tell Pepper I'll be at the meeting, but not at seven in the morning. We'll aim for two." He wanted to avoid spending too much time with Bruce after the night before. He had woken before him, but hadn't waited for the other man to become conscious. Instead he had opted to hide and work. No need to dwell on his pathetic self. Unfortunately, there was an avenger's strategy meeting, minus SHEILD of course which he couldn't avoid. "Why we need an official meeting when we see eachother every day is a mystery to me, but whatever. It's what Captain Spangly-pants wants."
"I'll tell her four then, shall I?"
Tony smirked. "You know me so well, J."
"Yes, I-"
"J?" Tony frowned when he didn't get a response. "Hmmm. Must still be glitchy from the hack. I should probably fix that."
"Or maybe someone downloaded a targeted virus in order to corner you in a dark corridor." A man slid out of the shadows. He was a beefy man in his early thirties, with greasy black hair and very large muscles, not well hidden beneath his expensive suit. Tony froze and backed up the way he had come, hoping to avoid a confrontation. "Ah, ah, ah. None of that, Tony." In two strides he had Tony cornered, unable to run. He slammed him into the wall twice to prevent an escape attempt.
Blinking owlishly, Tony slurred, still eloquent as ever. "I seem to be at a disadvantage. You apparently know me well enough that you think you can call me by my first name, but I have no idea who the fuck you are."
"Tristan Lafonte'." Tony became stiff at the mention of the last name. "Yes. Gerold was my father. I believe you knew him," Pausing for effect, Tristan leaned close and whispered in Tony's ear. "Intimately."
"Get the fuck off me." Tony growled and struggled ineffectively as his eyes remained unfocused.
Tristan chuckled and shook his head. "Language, Anthony. My father told me what a great fuck you were. Talked about you a great deal in fact after you had him kicked off the board."
"I wonder why." Tony snapped.
"Yes, well.. The past is the past. Now, it's my turn to have a go."
"No it's not. You don't just get to fuck whoever you want. Do you even understand who I am now? I'm not some scared twelve-year-old. I am Iron man . I am an Avenger and I will hunt you down. Or my friends will."
"Like you'd let them know what a pathetic worthless piece of shit you are. I've been watching you. You're pathetic. I don't know how you have a boyfriend as hot as yours, but eventually him and your friends will realize what a whore you are. Bruce will leave you because you are a pathetic worthless piece of crap and your friends will abandon you when they realize how dirty you are." He smirked as Tony didn't argue and avoided looking at him. "Now, down to business."

Bruce wandered the halls of the Tower looking for Tony. He was hoping to make breakfast for the team before the Avengers meeting which had been postponed until four. "I could have sworn I saw him heading this way. This place is too big. JARVIS, could you tell me which way Tony went?"
There was no answer and Bruce got a feeling, a really bad feeling. He heard voices up ahead suddenly, so he headed towards them.
"...pathetic. I don't know how you have a boyfriend as hot as yours, but eventually him and your friends will realize what a whore you are. Bruce will leave you because you are a pathetic worthless piece of crap and your friends will abandon you when they realize how dirty you are. Now, down to business."
Bruce ran towards the voices. He rounded the corner and saw a very terrified Tony being held against the wall by a large man. "Get away from him or you'll regret it."
The man scoffed. "What are you going to do about it?"
"We obviously haven't met. Hello. I'm the Hulk. Now run. Or die. It's your choice." Bruce's voice was deceptively calm, but his eyes flashed green and Tristan paled and ran for his life. "Tony? It's okay now." He approached cautiously but quickly, wrapping his arms around his lover gently. "Are you alright?"
Tony shook his head and slumped into Bruce's hold. Suddenly, he tensed and murmured. "Bruce, I feel weird." His eyes rolled back and his entire body convulsed.
"Shit! Tony!" Bruce lowered him to the ground, checking his watch to time the seizure. "JARVIS, I need help. Dammit! I forgot. Okay. I can't leave him. Fuck! Clint." Suddenly a thought occurred to him, so he screamed as loud as possible. "Clint! Help!"
He kept calling even as the seizure ended.

Clint, Steve, and Natasha had just sat down for the team breakfast intent on waiting until Bruce found Tony. It would be their first meal together since the Fury Fiasco as Clint had decided to call it. They were all excited to have a bit of normalcy in their lives.
"God, I'm starving. Where are they?" Clint whined.
Steve fidgeted "Maybe he doesn't want to deal with me. I mean, he was pretty mad the other day and-"
"Shut up!" Clint sat straighter and tilted his head, frowning.
"What-" Natasha couldn't finish her sentence as Clint took off running. Stunned momentarily, they looked at each other, then followed quickly.
~~tonyandbruce~~tonyandbruce~~tonyandbruce~~tonyandbruce~~tonyandbruce~~tonyandbruce~~
"Clint! Dammit. Dammit. Dammit!" Bruce growled. "Okay, okay. Hulk, I swear to God if you hurt him, I'll find a way to kill you." A disgruntled growl entered Bruce's mind.
"Bruce?" Clint voice called.
"Oh thank God." Bruce sighed in relief. "Here! We're here. Hurry!"
Clint rounded the corner, followed closely by their remaining teammates. He looked shocked at seeing Tony on the ground, but didn't stop his stride, only halting when he'd reached Tony's side. "What happened?"
The other two kept a distance as Bruce answered. "He's bleeding from his head and he had a three minute seizure. It was some guy. I threatened him with the Hulk and he ran. JARVIS is down and-"
"Not anymore Doctor."
"You couldn't have come back fifteen minutes sooner?" Bruce snapped at the ceiling.
JARVIS didn't answer immediately. "If I could have I would have."
Bruce deflated slightly. "I know. Sorry, sorry. It's just-It's Tony."
"I understand. I have locked down elevator three if someone would like to apprehend the suspect."
"I believe we'll do that." Natasha replied menacingly, pulling the captain with her as she retreated.
"What do you need me to do?" Clint asked gently as Bruce breathed deeply trying to regain his composure so he could be a doctor and not the Hulk.
"I need to get him to the medical floor. I'm glad you heard me. I was about to hulk out and hope I was gentle enough with him."
Clint starred at him. "That's the first time you have ever referred to the hulk as yourself, other than to say you kill people, I mean."
"Well, you can psychoanalyze me later. I think his brain must be swelling, but I'll know more once we get him an MRI." Bruce replied as the picked him up together.
"His brain does indeed seem to be swollen, but the swelling has stopped and there are no bleeds. He has a concussion and a slight skull fracture."
"I'm glad your systems didn't get destroyed again JARVIS." Clint answered gratfully.
"Me too." Bruce led the way around a corner. "I am sorry that I snapped at you."
"It's fine, Dr. Banner. You did so out of concern."
"Can you access the footage of what happened in that corridor?" Bruce asked suddenly, changing the subject.
"Yes."
"Good. Please have it ready for Clint and I to review."
"Yeah. We need to know what happened, so we can know how dead to make the guy who did this." Clint added smirking.
Bruce smiled slightly, but it wasn't a happy smile. It was a smile that promised vengeance and pain.
