A/N: I'll try to keep this short, but I'm going to have to put a hold on live evictions, I just have to get to the chapters when I get to them. Unfortunately, between school and work, I don't have much time to write, and currently it is past 11:00 pm as I begin writing this, the only real time I have. I'm seeing this story through, but it's going to be whenever I can get to it, and not three chapters a week. Super sorry! Also, no one reviewed last chapter at all, which made me really sad. If you're reading this, please take time to leave a review, it takes less than a minute and truly makes my day!
"It's been a big week inside the Big Brother house," Chen T. said, smiling at the camera, brushing her raven locks behind her green-speckled mushroom cap, "And tonight, one more houseguest will leave the Big Brother house. You better expect the unexpected, because this is Big Brother!"
A smattering of applause rises from the crowd below Chen T. and the Asian toadette smiles as the camera pans towards her. Walking over to the large JumboTron that displays the house's actions for the live audience, Chen T. begins again.
"Last time you were with us, Toadette was named as the third nominee, and sparks flew as she called out Daisy as the MVP. With Daisy, Mario, and Toadette on the block, who will walk out the door tonight in the third eviction? Let's take a look."
The screen flashes back to prior events in the house, leaving off with the Veto Ceremony.
"This veto meeting….is adjourned," Birdo spoke, and everyone rose silently, the picture melted back into color, and the houseguests dispersed amongst the house.
Peach: This is a disaster! As soon as I'm off the block, Toadette gets thrown on. We need to make sure that on eviction night, Toadette has enough votes to stay and Daisy leaves this house for good!
Birdo: Even though Toadette is in my alliance, I really don't like how things are going. Peach is too controlling, and I'm thinking about making a drastic move.
Entering the storage room, Birdo fished around for an apple, moving behind Daisy who was eating some chips and chatting with Mario.
"Thanks a lot Birdo," Daisy beamed, shooting bullets into the woman with her eyes.
"Listen Daisy," Birdo sighed, "I'm awfully sorry about Peach. In fact, I'm getting really tired of her."
"She's just gotten too power hungry," Mario nodded, "I wish we could've evicted her, but of course she won the veto."
"Pauline was so close," Daisy snapped her fingers in annoyance, as if something had just gotten away from her.
"Well, since Peach is down, Toadette is up," Birdo smiled at the other two nominees.
"What are you even implying?" Daisy gasped, completely thrown off by Birdo.
"If we can evict Toadette, then we can get rid of Peach next week," Birdo explained, "Peach is playing my game, and I want to play my own. I want to show her up."
Daisy: I could not believe what I was hearing! Birdo was offering to cast off her own alliance to join us! We just need the numbers!
Forging a deal, Mario, Daisy, and Birdo were determined to knock off Toadette so they could expose Peach's belly. Smiling to one another, the two nominees and the head of household were conspiring together, but little did they know they would have a tough time conjuring up the votes.
Pauline: I was so close to winning that veto, but it can't be helped. Now Housekeeping needs to meet one last time before the eviction to determine a target between the three nominees.
"So, who's it going to be?" DK asked surreptitiously, crossing his arms.
"Let's keep Mario around," Rosalina thought, "He makes an excellent pawn."
"That's true," Pauline concurred, "So if we keep Mario, is it Daisy or Toadette?"
"Daisy is in a showmance," Waluigi pointed out, "We all know how dangerous those can be!"
"Waluigi has a point," Rosalina agreed, "If we destroy their relationship before it blossoms, then we won't have to deal with their joint vote later."
"Does that settle it?" DK asked.
"I believe so," Pauline smirked.
The images fade out, returning to the live showing, where the ten remaining houseguests are crowded in the meeting room, staring up at the television with Chen T.'s face plastered on it. The host begins to speak, and the image fades back in.
"Houseguests!" Chen T. bellowed with a smile.
"Hi Chen T.!" Everyone cheered, waving and smiling their helloes at the host.
"It's been an exciting week," Chen T. commented, "However, it's that time again. In a little bit, you'll be casting your votes to evict, but not before some questions. Luigi? How is it being in the season's first showmance?"
"Oh wow," Luigi breathed out, "Daisy is wonderful, and I'm so happy to have met her!"
"How would it feel if that showmance ended tonight?" Chen T. asked.
"I sure hope it doesn't," Luigi answered, "But if it does, then I'll be happy with the amount of time I got to spend with Daisy, and not regret anything."
"Well said," Chen T. nodded, "Peach, how did it feel to win the veto this week?"
"Oh it felt so good," Peach hunched up her shoulders innocently, "I was so proud of myself! I'm glad I'm doing well in challenges!"
"Do you think that makes you a target?" Chen T. asked.
"I think people find me intimidating, so it does put a target on me, but I don't think it's going to be a problem," Peach answered with a smile and Chen T. nodded.
"It's almost time," Chen T. smiled, "But first, the nominees have one last chance to speak to the other houseguests, Daisy, you're first."
Daisy rose, smoothing out her orange skirt, "Hey everyone back home in the Chai Kingdom! I'm loving this show, and I love all of you guys here, and if you evict me tonight, then you'll have missed out on a potential ally, so please keep me around!"
"Well said," Chen T. nodded, "Mario, your turn."
"Mamma Mia!" Mario cried, "I keep on getting nominated for a eviction, and I don't a want to go a home! Please a keep me here! I've done a nothing wrong, but people keep on putting me a up!"
"I can sense your frustration Mario," Chen T. realized, "Toadette, wrap it up."
"Ok! Well shout out to everyone back home! Thank you guys so much for being such wonderful houseguests! Please don't evict me just yet, because I have so much more to offer. I'm not the true threat tonight!" Toadette cried ominously, and Chen T. smiled with a knowing gleam in her eyes.
"We will now begin the live voting, Birdo, as Head of Household, you will not be voting tonight. DK, you're first to vote," Chen T. instructed, and the hulking simian left for the diary room to cast his vote.
Chen T. turned to the audience, her connection with the house being lost.
"DK is part of Housekeeping, and they plan to evict Daisy, will he follow through?" Chen T. questioned as DK sat down.
"Hi DK!" Chen T. smiled.
"Hey there Chen T., what's going on?"
"Please cast your vote to evict," Chen T. replied.
"I vote to evict Daisy, see ya," DK smiled, rising as he cast his vote, passing Pauline in the hall.
"Pauline is also part of Housekeeping, so she should be voting with DK."
"Hey Pauline," Chen T. waved, and the beautiful woman smiled back, wearing an elegant emerald wrap dress.
"Good evening Chen T.," Pauline winked.
"Please cast your vote to evict," Chen T. instructed, and Pauline replied,
"I vote to evict Daisy."
"Thank you Pauline," Chen T. said in goodbye, and Pauline left the diary room, passing Peach in the hallway.
"Peach is running the house, and is Daisy's biggest rival. She should be voting for Daisy," Chen T. conveyed, and Peach sat down, not wasting any time.
"I vote to evict Daisy," she hissed, getting up and leaving immediately.
"Well," Chen T. laughed awkwardly, "Let's see who Luigi votes for, it should be Toadette since he is in an alliance with Daisy and Mario."
"A hi Chen T.!" Luigi beamed, and Chen T. smiled back.
"Who do you vote to evict Luigi?" Chen T. asked.
"I vote to evict a Toadette!" Luigi yipped, and Chen T. nodded, sending Luigi back and welcoming Rosalina into the room.
"Hello Chen T.," Rosalina waved and Chen T. asked, "Who do you vote to evict Rosalina?"
"I vote to evict Daisy, sorry girl," Rosalina said with a scrunched face, getting up and leaving the room.
"It's official," Chen T. said somberly, "With four votes to evict Daisy, Daisy will be leaving the house tonight. Let's see how the rest of the votes fall."
"Hi Chen T.!" Waluigi greeted, and she asked him to vote.
"I vote to evict Daisy," Waluigi responded, waving goodbye as he got up and left. All of the votes had been cast, and as Waluigi arrived back in the meeting room, Chen T. appeared back in the house via the television screen.
"Houseguests! The votes are in! When I read the name of the evicted houseguests, they will have just a few moments to say their goodbyes, grab their bag, and exit the Big Brother house. Are you ready?" Chen T. prompted them. After they all gave their respective sounds of approval, Chen T. began the reveal.
"With zero votes to evict, Mario, you are safe," Chen T. revealed, and the plumber wiped the sweat off his brow, pleased to be safe.
"It's between Toadette and Daisy," Chen T. narrowed her eyes, "By a vote of Five to One, Daisy, you have been evicted from the Big Brother house."
Daisy nodded, having been sitting with her legs crossed. She rose, smoothing out her orange skirt once more and fluffing out her auburn hair. She kissed Luigi on the lips and gave him a parting words, whispering some words in his ears.
She passed by most of the houseguests, gave Mario and Birdo quick hugs, and then grabbed her bags and left the house, closing the door resolutely behind her and leaving everyone in the house stunned.
As she walked out of the house and onto the stage, Daisy waved both hands to everyone as they cheered for her. She dropped her bag by the chair Chen T. had for her, and plopped down, letting out an exhausted sigh.
"You expected that didn't you?" Chen T. asked, and Daisy said with a sarcastic smile, "You betchya!"
"So, after your eviction, you only said goodbye to Luigi, Mario, and Birdo. What do you have to say to the rest of the house?" Chen T. asked.
"They're letting Peach walk all over them. Hopefully Mario or Luigi will win HOH and stomp her flat," Daisy answered crossly.
"You think Peach is in control?" Chen T. asked.
"Definitely," Daisy answered with a nod of her head, "She's got them all under her spell. If they had any sense, they'd have evicted Toadette to put a chink in her armor!"
"Do you think your showmance had anything to do with it?" Chen T. asked, extending the microphone to Daisy.
"Perhaps," Daisy thought, "Luigi and I were very close, and if we made it far we could be a problem for other alliances. However, I think the floaters are going to realize they should've weakened Peach when they had the opportunity."
"Well," Chen T. smiled, "In the event you were evicted tonight, the houseguests prepared some video messages from you. Let's take a look."
"Oh Grambi," Daisy rolled her eyes, ready to view the videos.
Peach: Hopefully you're watching this! You had the opportunity to storm this game with us, and you and I were such good friends! Too bad you fell for Luigi, and now you're outside the house! I don't need you, I have Toadette and Birdo, and with them, I'm going to win this game!
Mario: Daisy, I wish I could a help you, but if you're out a there, I'm a in here. Hopefully it's a Toadette, but if it isn't then I'm a very sorry!
Rosalina: Daisy my dear, you fell victim to our secret alliance tonight. Pauline, DK, Waluigi, and I are all in an alliance, and we decided that you and your showmance were more dangerous than Toadette. Birdo is already masking her indifference to Peach, so we decided to nip you in the bud. Sorry girl!
Luigi: Oh a Daisy! I wish we could a be together, but we formed an alliance and everyone was out to a get you! I love you so a much! I can't wait to see you on the other side!
"Any final thoughts?" Chen T. asked with a shrug.
"I hope Luigi wins, and I hope Peach gets hit by a truck!" Daisy shouted, and Chen. T raised her brow.
"Next, the power is up for grabs! Who will be the next Head of Household? Stay with us!" Chen T. cried, and the cameras rolled out.
Coming back from the break, Chen T. smiled, and Daisy had exited the stage.
"Before we left, Daisy was evicted from the house, but now the power is up for grabs. Let's head to the backyard to see who will be crowned the next Head of Household," Chen T. instructed, and the cameras zoomed into the backyard, showing the houseguests standing in the decorated yard, and Birdo sitting high on a throne with a large crown on her head.
"Attention houseguests! The power is up for grabs! Birdo, as outgoing Head of Household, you will not be eligible to compete," Chen T. instructed, and Birdo nodded up to the loudspeaker that emitted Chen T.'s grand voice.
"In this game, you will have be called up in pairs to answer a true or false question. The first person to get it right will have the power to eliminate someone from the game. However, a wrong answer will result in your elimination as well. When the last two remain, whoever gets the question right will win HOH! Any questions?" Chen T. explained, and everyone shook their head to say no to her question.
"The first pair is Toadette and Pauline, please come to the stand," Chen T. instructed, and both women rose to the podium, hovering their hands above the buzzer.
"True or False? The designer of the F.L.U.D.D. robot was Dr. Eggman Robotnik?" Chen T. asked, and Toadette slammed her hand down on the buzzer.
"False!" Toadette cried, and her podium flashed a ray of green, signaling her triumph.
"Correct!" Chen T. shouted, "Please select someone to be eliminated from the game!"
"I choose Luigi," Toadette selected, and the man in green groaned in frustration as he sat in the first seat in front of Birdo's throne, out of the game.
"Toadette, now select a new opponent," Chen T. selected as Pauline returned to the others.
"I pick Peach," Toadette smiled, and Peach rose to the podium next to Toadette.
"True or False? Daisy was from the Chai Kingdom?"
Peach slammed her hand down on the buzzer signaling true, remembering Daisy's shoutout before her eviction.
"Correct!" Chen T. congratulated, "Please select someone to eliminate."
"Mario," Peach determined, and Mario cried out in frustration as he joined his pouting brother on the sidelines.
"I choose Pauline next," Peach snickered, and the real estate agent replaced Toadette on the podium.
"True or False?" Chen T. asked, "Yoshi is a college student?"
Pauline hit the true button, and her podium flashed green. In deciding who to eliminate, there was only one valid option.
"Correct!" Chen T. cried, "Who do you pick to eliminate?"
"I'm eliminating Toadette," Pauline selected her victim, and Toadette sat by Mario and Luigi in the out section. Peach hissed through her teeth, realizing she was now alone in the competition.
"I'm choosing DK to come up next," Pauline decided, and the primate replaced Peach on the podium.
"True or False? Wiggler will attack before provoked?" Chen T. posed.
DK pounded his fist on the false buzzer, and his podium flashed red.
"Sorry DK, but the real answer was true. You've been eliminated."
"Dang," DK beat his chest, and Pauline chose Waluigi to come up next.
"True or False? Birdo was in the second group to enter the house?"
Waluigi could not remember how everyone entered the house, but Pauline selected the false button.
"Correct!" Chen T. shouted, "Please choose someone to eliminate Pauline."
"I choose to eliminate Peach," Pauline said, and Peach shot her a look as she joined everyone out. The remaining three players secretly smiled, knowing Housekeeping would be in control this week.
"I select Rosalina," Pauline said as Waluigi and the cosmic engineer swapped places.
"True or False?" Chen T. asked, "The first casket of wine delivered to the house contained zinfandel?"
Rosalina selected the true option immediately, laughing to herself because she liked to have wine from time to time. Her podium flashed green, and subsequently Waluigi was eliminated.
"Pauline, Rosalina, whoever answers the next question correctly will be crowned the new Head of Household," Chen T. instructed, "True or False? The species that lives in Shiver City are called Bumblies."
Rosalina pressed the false button about a split second before Pauline, and as her podium flashed green, Chen T. delivered the great news and Pauline and Rosalina shared an excited hug, jumping up and down.
"Congratulations Rosalina!" Chen T. shouted, "You are the new Head of Household!"
Chen T. took her leave, and the houseguests all celebrated, well most of them. Peach and Toadette sulked with a pretending Birdo as the pink dinosaur placed the crown on Rosalina's head, and the houseguests all paraded back into the house after an eventful night.
"Rosalina is the new HOH," Chen T. explained to the viewers, "Join us next time for the nomination episode. Then see who will win the coveted power of veto! Then, next eviction night is double eviction! It's a weeks' worth of Big Brother crammed into one night! Who will be leaving the house? Stay with us!"
The cameras panned out, minimizing Chen T. and showing the inside of the house, as Rosalina hugged Birdo and cheered with the other houseguests. Everyone was milling about, and the credits rolled as the episode ended.
