Hola!
OK, so I apologize about the delays to this story, but I promise that I'm still working on this. I kinda fell behind on my writing and have no time to write during the week. :( But these next few chapters are to the main climax of the story so get ready! They might be longer and come slower because of editing, or I might magically have time and get it done quick *shrug* you never know.
**IMPORTANT** I still need those summaries people! I have gotten a grand total of...0 so far. Please! Last time I updated it didn't pull NEARLY as many views as last time, and I really think it's my crappy summary. Also, I NEED DEM STORY VOTES TOO! I have only 2 votes for my next story, and I don't want to go by just one person. So head on over to my profile after this chappy and vote!
Disclaimer: I don't own Teen Titans, but I do own Cecilia and Duo!
Chapter 11: Messages
After Robin's 'epiphany' 'the other night, he'd started coming out of his office. Everyone was happy that he'd finally come around and felt that to team was whole again. Stafire was especially happy. It showed every time she saw him.
"Friend Robin! You are awake!" Starfire flew over to him and grabbed him into a hug as soon as she saw him walk in the door. "I am always afraid you will not come in for the morning's meal." she whispered into his ear. Ever since he'd told her he was sorry that night after being rudely jerked back into reality by Cecilia, they'd seemed closer, if that was possible without leaving the frendzone (Robin was starting to gain hope that he was closer to leaving it).
"I'll always come in from now on. I promise." He whispered back.
"Hey!" Beast Boy whistled from the counter as he jabbed his thumb over to where he was. "Get over here, or get a room." Cecilia snorted into her morning mug of hot coco.
Robin blushed. "We were just hugging." he tried.
"For like 20 minutes."
"Hey, but for real, get over here. Bacon's ready and the pancakes are about done." Cyborg said.
Beast Boy cringed at the word 'bacon' and pinched his nose together. "How can you guys stand meat? You're eating helpless animals!"
Cecilia grabbed a piece of bacon off the plate and shoved it her mouth, then spoke around the food. "Becauf, bacon tafs good and you can a wot of it. Pwus, its cwunchy. We wike cwunchy stuff."
Everyone laughed, but Raven just rolled her eyes and grabbed her own piece and took a small bite. "But you don't have to eat it like a cave man."
Cecilia grabbed another piece. "Don't bwe a hater, Waven."
Duo curled up his nose as he smelled the meat, and backed up beside Beast Boy. "See? Duo gets it. Right, dude? High five! Wait, no, high one." Beast Boy slapped his palm against Duo's hoof.

Later that evening as the sun was setting, the trouble alert went off. As they ran out the door, Cecilia caught Robin by the arm. "Whatever happens, don't leave. Got it?"
Robin nodded and they headed out.
TtTtTtTt
"Beast Boy, you're gonna hate this, but Slade's attacking the pizza place." Robin said as they rounded to corner as they worked their way through downtown.
"WHAT?! Oh, it's ON!"
Cecilia pulled Duo up next to the T-Car and spoke into her communicator "I can hear you from out here, BB."
"And we can defiantly hear you in here." Raven said, narrowing her eyes at him.
"But Rae! This is the pizza place we're talking about!"
Duo kicked up another gear and ran in front of the T-Car as traffic made room for them. They slid to a stop in front of the building.
"Oh God." Cecilia breathed, and Starfire flew up behind her and hovered in the air, letting out a small gasp.
The pizza place was smoking and crawling with Slade bots. Half of the balcony was gone and the kitchen looked like it was catching on fire. Robin whipped out his own communicator and pressed to speed-dial for the fire department. "Get to as many of the bots as you can, but don't get to close to the fire. Titans GO!"
The Slade bots had moved off the burning building and to the ground, moving toward the Titans. Both sides pounced at the same moment, and there was the horrid sound of screeching metal and ripping as wiring was pulled from it's various places. A small crowd had gathered to film videos and watch. Then one of the spectators started screaming.
"SOMEONE'S STILL IN THERE! SOMEONE'S STILL THERE!"
The Titans couldn't really stop to listen, but if then strained their ear and listened really hard there was a small child's voice yelling for his mother and screeching.
"Robin! I'm going in! Duo, cover for me!"
"Cecilia, no!" Robin yelled but it was too late, and Cecilia somersaulted into the only opening in devil form and took in a huge breath. She moved though the building as fast as she could as her devil form protected her from the extreme heat, and luckily didn't encounter Slade bots. She tracked the screaming to the men's bathroom, and the door was blocked with rubble. Cecilia kicked as much as she could away and jerked at the door. No movement, and her lungs were burning. More kicking and scraping and she pulled the door open, diving inside, and ending in a horrible slide across the bathroom tile. She gulped in air and rolled onto her back as the door closed. She sat up to see the room clear of smoke and a little boy around 8 cringing in the corner with wide eyes.
"Wow this room isss sssealed well." Cecilia said as she rubbed her head. She changed back to angel form and crawled over to the boy. "Are you OK? Did you get burned or hurt by a bot?"
The little boy shook his head. "I got separated from mommy when the robots came. Then I ran in here."
"Well, you did good. What's your name?"
"Griffin." The little boy said.
"That's a cool name. How long can you hold your breath?" Cecilia asked. Griffin shrugged.
"Hold it for as long as you can, and I'll run us out, OK?"
"Why can't Duo run us out?" Griffin asked.
Cecilia beamed, glad someone knew of her unicorn. "He would, but he's out there fighting. But I'm glad you know who he is."
"That's because you guys are my favorite." Griffin blushed.
"Really?" Cecilia said as she helped Griffin onto her back piggy-back style. "I thought all the boys liked Robin best. Here we go. Deep breath!"
Griffin made a dramatic intake of air and Cecilia changed to devil form and ran as fast as she could through the crumbling pizza place. They burst out onto the street and were met but the rest of the team as they finished of the last of the Slade bots. Raven knelt down next to them as Cecilia let Griffin off her back.
"Does he need healing?" She asked as she pulled off her hood.
"He said he's fine, but I'd check just in case."
Raven did a quick on-the-spot exam and deemed Griffin unharmed.
A lady ran up as Cecilia let him pet Duo. "Griffin!"
"Mommy!" He stopped petting Duo and hugged his mom. Cecilia's grin couldn't have been wider.
"Thank you for saving Griffin." Griffin's mom said to Cecilia.
"No problem. That's our job." Cecilia said, resting her hand on Duo's neck. The fire truck rolled up and everyone moved out of the way. As the flames were extinguished, everyone noticed the black numbers on the one mostly-complete wall that was left:
20th
Below the number were the words:
NEW CONSTRUCTION
COME, OR BE CAME TO
"Well, talk about being cryptic." Raven remarked.
"Sound's like instructions." Robin said.
"Or a message." Cecilia added.
"Perhaps it is the next place of attack?" Starifre suggested.
"Maybe. We'll check it out more closely back at the Tower."
Cecilia took a picture with her iPod and they all went home to analyze the message.
TtTtTtTt
"OK, here's what I found." Robin said, pulling up the computer screen on the Titan's TV in the ops room. Everyone sat on the couch as Robin paced back and forth in front of the screen with a concentrated look. "The number '20th' is clearly a date, not a time or address. The 20th is the day after tomorrow." Everyone nodded. "I'm assuming 'new construction' is a place, so I looked up the current constructions going on in Jump. There was only this one-" Robin typed into the computer and a map of Jump City came up on the screen. A red pin was placed at the edge of the city, over the construction site. "All the way out at the edge of the city."
"How do we know it's not a trap? Slade could be luring us away from town so that we'd be out of the way." Raven said.
"It could be. But he also said 'come, or be came to.' He's one for formality, and I doubt he'd pull something on us. But him being Slade, we need to be prepared. We're going to have a day-long weapons training session tomorrow."
Everyone's mouth dropped. "Weapons training? Since when did we become the army?" Raven asked tersely.
"Dude, you know we don't do that!" Beast Boy said.
"Yeah, man. why can't we go with what we have?" Cyborg tried to reason.
"Must we use the sharp objects and harming devices?" Starfire pleaded.
"Why weapons? We aren't killing stuff." Cecilia added.
Robin let out a groan. "I knew you all would act like this. Look, all Slade has thrown at us so far is his bots and we know that's all he has. I wouldn't hurt to practice."
"Ugh, whatever. I'll go with it. But you better be right about this whole thing not being a trap. I don't want to be going home permanently with your sorry butts in tow. We'd be in purgatory FOREVER." Cecilia waved her hand in a dismissive way and left with Duo in tow.
"Wait...did she just imply that she is hoping that we don't die just because she doesn't want us to be her new neighbors in Heaven?"
"Yep." Raven said, getting up as well. "And honestly, I would rather live by myself too."
TtTtTtTt
At 10:00 the next day, everyone was lined up in the training center as Robin explained what they would be doing.
"Today, we'll practice a variety of things. After they way you reacted last night, I decided that training with weapons will be optional."
Gratefulness emitted from the group.
"Those who don't want to train with weapons will work on techniques."
"Ooh! Ooh! I has a question!" Cecilia raised her hand and bounced up and down like a little kid.
Robin sighed. "Yes, Cecilia?"
"What can Duo do?"
"He can do whatever he wants, since he's a unicorn." At first, Robin had found that the strangest thing to say. Now the word 'unicorn' was part of his daily vocabulary. Duo whinnied happily.
"Can I do whatever I want if I become a unicorn too?" Beast Boy asked.
"No." Robin said "You have to pick something because you're a person, not a unicorn." Beast Boy's ears drooped and he pouted. "I'll take the people who will train with weapons over to the room. The others can go wait by the obstacle course." Robin turned towards the door to the rarely used weapons room and was surprised by his followers: Cecilia, Raven, and most of all, Starfire.
"Do you have swords?" Cecilia asked.
"Yeah. Sheaths too." Robin pulled open the doors to a room that displayed a impressive collection of weapons.
"Whoa." Cecilia breathed.
"Um, how long have we had all this, exactly?" Raven asked as she trailed her fingers over daggers.
"A while. I sometimes practice with stuff." Robin watched from the doorway as Starfire moved around the room slowly and gracefully, eying all the weapons. Cecilia noisily shifted through the sheaths for the swords, and came up with two white ones.
"I'm glad there were some white ones. A little stiff, but they'll do." Cecilia strapped them around her middle, one on each side. She took two swords off the wall and dropped them into their sheaths. The wight of the swords made them hang at a nice slant around her hips.
Raven had slung two black sheaths of coal-colored arrows across her shoulders and had a matching bow. Her right wrist was covered by black wrist guard, and her cape was draped across her arm. "It was in the way of the sheaths." She explained, then started to walk towards the obstacle course. Cecilia followed her.
"Robin, you may go. I will be there in a moment." Starfire said.
"You sure Star? I can wait."
"No. I am almost ready."
"OK then."
Robin met the others over at the obstacle course, and everyone was already deep in conversation.
"Raven, since when did you become Katniss?" Cecilia asked Raven.
"When did you become Zorro?" Raven asked her. "And I will have you know that I learned archery on Azerath, thank you very much."
"I want to see you shoot stuff, Rae!" Beast Boy said excitedly.
"Um, OK...do we have targets, Robin?"
"Yeah. That wall. Let me go press the button." Robin ran over to the control panel and pressed to button for the targets that were hidden in the wall. Then her ran back to join them as they watched Raven shoot.
Raven dropped her cloak on the ground and walked over to the targets. She notched an arrow and took a few test shots to get a feel for the tightness of the bow. She shook out her arms and moved to a new target. There was a twang, then a thunk as the arrow hit the target very close to the center.
"Ugh, that was horrible. Xantra would've hated that shot." Raven muttered, just loud enough for the others to hear. She took a few more shots, whispering things to herself.
"Is she kidding? That's a thousand percent better than I ever could've done." Cecilia told Beast Boy. "And who's Xantra?"
"Probably her old instructor." Robin said.
As Raven got back into a rhythm, she started to do rolls and such as she shot. Not once did she use her powers. Raven came out of a barrel roll to shoot at the last target. Raven stood up from her kneel and brushed her hair out of her face. "I need to stop."
"Why?"
"I feel like Speedy." Everyone burst into laughter.
"Whoa, Starfire, you look pretty well loaded there." Cyborg said. Robin saw Starfire walk up. Or, more appropriately, heard her walk up. She was jangly with the sound of metal, and was decked to the teeth with all sorts of weapons.
"You must have forgotten that my people are warriors. I am used to weapons such as these. The one thing you do not posses is what we call a Kokaa. It is a staff with a twisted piece of metal at the bottom, and a large, curved blade at the top."
"You said Kokaa? Sounds like Koca. Russian for scythe. Sounds like what you're describing, minus the corkscrew at the bottom." Raven rattled off like an encyclopedia as she walked over to them.
"Jeez Sherlock. I'll let you know if I have any questions." Cecilia said. "What's next, Robin?"
"Like I said before. Cyborg and Beast Boy can work together on stuff, and I can work with you guys."
Duo nudged Beast Boy with his nose. "I think he wants to go with you guys." Cecilia said.
"OK, cool. C'mon dude." Beast Boy, Cyborg and Duo headed off in the other direction.
"Raven, is archery your main thing you have going for you?" Robin asked her.
"I can do some dagger throwing, but that's about it as far as weapons go."
"Cecilia?"
"Not much past sword fighting. But I'm really good at that."
"OK, good to know. Star? What about you?"
"I am, as you say here, 'versatile'."
"Hmm... Lets do sword fighting matches. Raven, you can try if you want or you can be the judge."
"I'll judge."
"Sure. Star, can I borrow a sword?" Starfire handed him one of her multiple swords she had on her and they moved to the place in the training center where the gymnastic mats where. Starfire and Raven stood to the side and Cecilia took off one of her sheaths and tossed it to the side, then drew her other sword.
"Tell us when, Rave." Cecilia said as she took a stance. Robin mimicked her.
Raven levitated into the lotus position and placed her bow across her lap. "Ready. Set. Play!"
Immediately, Cecilia gracefully stepped forward into a luge, and Robin had to do a quick sidestep. Cecilia just twisted around and easily stopped his attempt at a blow.
"Where'd you learn to fight like this?" Robin asked as he ducked under her blade.
"I can't lie and say that didn't have a lot of time on my hands. Sword fighting always interested me." Cecilia said as she rolled forward and took a swing at his leg. Robin flipped backwards and had barely regained his footing when Cecilia rammed into him in a wind-knocking body slam that tossed him to the ground. His eyes widened as Cecilia's sword blade came a little too close to his throat. "Dead." She smiled deviously and moved her sword away and sheathed it.
"OK." Robin said sitting up. "A little unconventional with the body slam, but it works."
Cecilia took her starting place on the mat and put her hands behind her back, still smiling. "Who's next?"
"I will go." Stafire said. She took off her many dagger sheaths and spears and Cecilia picked up her other sword.
"Imma need this." Cecilia said as she strapped it back onto her waist. "She's the warrior princess and is gonna kick my butt."
Starfire didn't say anything and just drew her sword and took her place.
"Ready. Set. Play!" Raven called.
Starfire jumped on Cecilia so fast Robin could barely keep up. Cecilia rolled ducked and blocked but didn't have time to make an offensive move. Eventually she drew her second sword and started to do a little better. Ultimately, she ended up with her hair in Starfire's fist and a sword at her throat with wide eyes and glistening with perspiration. Starfire had barely broken a sweat. "Dead." Starfire said, and pushed Cecilia away from her.
Cecilia collapsed on the floor and ripped off her jacket. "I...can't..do...anymore." Cecilia gasped as she fanned herself. "So...hot...and...tired."
"So...I guess no one is going?" Raven asked.
"I'm not...ready...to go...again." Cecilia panted.
"Um...yeah, I'm good." Robin said. Starfire looked disappointed no one was willing to fight her, so Robin suggested she show them how she could throw knives. She happily agreed and they moved back to the targets.
"I've never been so scared of a girl in my life." Cecilia whispered to Robin as Starfire did throw after perfect throw at the targets.
"Me either." Robin said.
Eventually, Cyborg, Beast Boy, and Duo creeped over to watch too.
"So we have a Katniss, a Zorro, and a Rosa Gross. Who are you Robin?"
"Wait, who's Rosa Gross?" Beast Boy asked.
"She's a knife thrower. I'm comparing her to Starfire, Raven to Katniss and me to Zorro."
Starfire's last knife stuck into the target, leaving a group of knives stuck in the center.
"That was...scary." Raven said.
"Was I bad?" Starfire asked, confused.
"No, It was too good." Cecilia said. "Raven's like, a archery prodigy and Starfire's an alien warrior princess. I feel so...bleh."
"Yeah, but your an angel who's also a devil and owns a unicorn." Raven stated.
"Oh yeah..." Cecilia said, as if she just remembered. "OK. Feeling less bleh. Can we do the obstacle course?"
"Sure." Robin said. "Then we'll do simulations. After that we can be done."
"Hallelujah." Cecilia said, throwing her hands up.
The Titan's indoor obstacle course consisted of large blocks that you had to find a way over, a pit, a climbing rope that lead up to a bridge witch you had to jump off of and land safely. Then there was a laser maze and you were done. Unlike the simulation room, there was a stage where everyone else sat that housed the control panel instead of a whole other room.
"You want me to go first?" Robin asked. Everyone nodded furiously. Robin sighed and moved to the start, and Raven sat to the control panel, and reset the timer.
"OK. 3...2...1...go." Robin was used to the course and had done it so many times that he could do it in his sleep, backwards, and on one foot all at the same time. And his record time was 2 minutes 7 seconds. Robin allowed the use of powers for one obstacle only, and most everyone chose to use it for the jump. That said, no one else had ever been faster than 2 minutes 50 seconds. Everyone was always jealous of Duo because he was exempt for the obstacle course.
Robin was able to get through to obstacle course so fast because he used parkour. He used his momentum to propel himself over things and being able to jump long distances. No one else knew it, and ended up pausing before each obstacle. Robin had always told them the trick was to never stop moving, but after Beast Boy did just that and ran into a block and got a bloody nose, he stopped giving tips.
He came in at a time of 2:10, and he was happy. He told Cecilia to go and she did her signature "See you next week" before she left, because she was always so slow.
"Ready? 3...2...1...go." Robin called.
Cecilia flung herself at the first block and scrambled up on top of it. She did a nice jump and slid across the top of the second one, and was hanging by her fingers on the third and took her a full half-minute to get up again.
Cecilia had the tendency to fling herself over the pit, as she would normally jump Duo over such wide distances, or fly. Her flinging had served her well so far though, so no one questioned it.
She was good with the rope though; her boots where good for gripping. And like almost everyone else, chose to fly off the bridge.
Cecilia was fastest with the laser maze, and could flip and bend around the red beams with good accuracy. Her final time being 3:45. "Is is Saturday yet?!" She called.
"No, it's Wednesday. Beast Boy, go."
Beast Boy always had trouble with the lasers, and had a time of 4:10.
Raven was good with most things, and came in at 3:30. Cyborg had a time of exactly 4:00, and Starfire had a good time of 3:10. "You guys did fairly well. No one got a bloody nose, so that's a plus. We won't do long simulations today. Cecilia, I want you and Duo to to one together."
"OK!" Cecilia chirped, and moved closer to Duo.
They filed into the simulation control room. The simulations were kind of like the obstacle course, except they were personalized and pretty straightforward, literally. The actual room was really a long hallway with a glass window up at the top where the people in the control room could watch. All manner of things could be in the simulation room, such as wind, rain, fire, or Robin or whoever was controlling it could shoot stuff at you or send in 'mini robot-drone thingies that chase you' as Beast Boy called them.
"Cecilia and Duo, I want you to go first." Robin said, sitting at the controls.
"Aw, do we have too?!" Cecilia complained.
"Yes."
"Ugh, fine." Cecilia and Duo left the room and came through the doors to the simulation room. Duo scratched an itch on his leg and Cecilia bounced on the balls of her feet.
"OK." Robin said over the intercom. "I'm looking for accuracy here. I'll put up some cover, and I just want you to get to the other side unscathed."
Cecilia nodded and whispered in Duo's ear. They pushed themselves against the opposite walls as the cover walls sprouted from the floor. Tiny drones the size of flies flowed from a hole in the wall and Cecilia groan of frustration was so loud the others could hear it through the wall. Raven smirked.
"Duo, change of plans! We'll out-run them!" Duo moved away from the wall and Cecilia leaped onto his back and Duo shot forward. Cecilia grabbed his long mane and the tiny fly drones formed a swarm and followed them. Duo slammed on the brakes suddenly, and the swarm flew right over them. Then they looped back around. Cecilia lifted her arms up as too shield her face and she and Duo squeezed their eyes closed. A shimmery, milky white shield formed a dome over her and Duo. She cracked open one of her eyes and was totally aghast. "Um..."
"Since when could you do that?" Robin asked over the intercom.
"Now I guess. I didn't know I could do it, I swear!" Cecilia pleaded. "This is great and all, but how exactly do I turn it off?" Cecilia experimentally poked the shield.
Raven grabbed the mic off the table and pressed the intercom button. "You can make a shield, and can't turn it off?!"
"Yep."
Raven did a face palm, and leaned on the table. "Visualize it melting away." Cecilia scrunched her face up, and nothing happened. "Don't try to hard. Relax." Cecilia's face softened, and the shield dissipated away. The fly's immediately began attacking again. Duo ran forward again, and caught Cecilia off guard causing her to slide back quite a bit. She grabbed his neck and they flew through the room. At the end of the hall, Robin called off the drones and they were sucked into the hole in the wall. A sweaty Duo and wind-blown Cecilia walked into the control room.
"I'm so done...so done." She walked to the back and took a seat. No one questioned her. "And no Robin, I will not make another shield because I know your going to ask."
It was true, Robin was about to ask her. Instead, he just said "If you can do it again, just make sure you can get rid of it."
"I'll go next." Raven offered. She left and appeared in the bottom room. She adjusted her cloak that she'd put back on and levitated slightly into the air, awaiting her simulation. Robin tapped his chin, then turned out the lights in the simulation room. He pressed a few more buttons and four spotlights appeared around the dark room. A mechanical cobra slithered into each one.
"I want you to get rid of each one." Robin said over the intercom.
"OK." Raven said. After a few seconds, Raven floated into the first spotlight. She lifted up the cobra with her powers and threw it against the wall. But it wasn't enough, and the mechanical snake lunged at Raven. She gasped as it sunk it's teeth into the hem of her cloak. Raven shook her cloak, but the cobra stayed put. She began spinning as fast as she could and her cloak fanned out. The cobra's tail made a small thump as it came into contact with the wall but it still held Raven's cloak in it's jaws. The second cobra slithered out of it's circle of light and into the first. The third and fourth cobra's moved too. Raven let out a groan of annoyance. She encased the cobras in her energy, having to rip the first one off her cloak. Raven moved them all away the sent them sailing towards each other at an alarming speed. All four snakes crashed into each other and shattered. Raven calmly levitated down the rest of the hallway and out the door.
"That was good, Raven."
"Whatever."
"Cyborg, your turn."
Cyborg was faced with extreme wind. He was able to make it out by shooting grappling hooks into the opposite wall and dragging himself toward the door. It kind of backfired though, when Robin changed the wind's direction and sent Cyborg flying into the opposite wall. Everyone cringed, but Cyborg took it good naturedly and laughed at the small dent he made in the wall.
Beast Boy's challenge was water. He became a fish and had to escape from Robin's mechanical sharks. He originally changed into a shark himself, but them became a tiny little fish and was able to not be detected by the shark's sensors. When he came back in, slightly damp, Robin asked him why he changed out of shark form. Beast Boy said, "Sometimes, violence isn't the answer." everyone was taken aback by Beast Boy's deepness, and Robin understood why he had chosen not to train with weapons today.
After Cyborg had gone, Starfire had started taking off her weapons. She had just finished as Beast Boy had come back in, and there was now a decent sized pile of weapons on the floor.
Starfire left without saying a word, and patiently waited for Robin to set up her simulation. Robin flipped the "COLD" switch and frost covered the room. The humidity from Beast Boy's water simulation condensed into small snow flakes, making an almost non-existent film of snow. (IDK if that can actually happen, but it will in my story ;D) Robin added some more snow to make the blanket thicker. Tiny blasters popped out of the wall and began shooting at Starfire. She made little starbolts on her fingertips and shot them at the blasters, and they made little ping-ing noises when they made contact. Shooting at the tiny blasters was hard though, because she had to stop and aim. Robin made the snow come down harder. She made it out quickly and effectively, and had a grin on her face as she walked through the door. Starfire shook the snow out of her hair.
"That was great, Star."
"Thank you, Robin!"
"You all did great, actually. We're all ready for what Slade has coming for us tomorrow." Everyone nodded.
"Do you think we can get pizza? I know the place burned down, but can we get it from some were else?" Beast Boy asked.
"I guess so. Go look up some other pizza places and we can order something."
"Yes!" Beast Boy cheered. As they walked back up to the ops room, they chatted. It didn't seem like it, but everyone was worried about tomorrow.
Whoo. There it is, ladies and gents. Another long one. I was worried about it having two big events (attack and training), but it worked out well. Be glad, because there might not be an update for a while. I had a snow week here where I live (Yippy!) And I got plenty of typing done. But then I sprained my wrist sledding and it was hard for me to type. It's a miracle that I got that much typed! It's just a mild sprain though, so it will be better soon.
I do not speak Russian, only a little Spanish, and I had to use the oh-so-reliable Google Translate for my language portion in this chapter. I just looked up scythe in a language Raven would know, changed the spelling, and BOOM: Instant Tamaranian. I just made it up, so...yeah.
Did you all like this chappy? I feel like I did good with the weapon choices and simulations. Please not that the next chapter will be major battles!
Don't forget about my poll, now! And those summaries! Reviews are ALWAYS read and make me feel like and appreciated writer!
~Cecilia
P.S. I made some changes to my old story such as paragraph breaks and spelling errors.
