Rachel had been asleep for the better part of the night whens he finally woke up and made her way into the kitchen, praying that something was cooked and could just be heated up for quick consumption. She was exhausted, starving, and surprisingly drawing a blank on what happened between the intense training and practically collapsing into Santana's arms. She had no doubt that her girlfriends took care of her but she also had no idea where they were or what the plan was now that she started training on her powers, its not like she had any idea on what the protocol was and she would like to be updated on them immediately so she doesn't start some kind of international incident just by existing...although it seems like that's what her fathers did by hiding her from the rest of her kind. She groaned happily as she saw an already made plate of some kind of lasagna made and she quickly pulled it out before putting it into the microwave and starting to heat it up. She had only heard the telltale hum of the microwave when a gravelly voice rang out through the kitchen, startling her and practically making her jump out of her own skin.
"For someone who isn't aware of what...or who, she is...you're surely a cheer little siren, aren't you."
Rachel was about to scream when she felt an invisible hand wrap around her mouth and throat, then, almost as if she were wrapped in vines her arms and legs were thrown together and she was turned around by some invisible force to face the hooded intruder.
He was inhumanly tall, almost seven feet if Rachel had to guess. He easily reached the ceiling and Rachel guessed that was the reason he had a bit of a hunch to his posture, as he no doubt sized her up in her newfound paralysis. His cloak looked like it was hundreds of years old, it was obviously worn and seemed to have been on his body for as long as possible. Rachel was scared, but she seemed to know there was absolutely nothing she could do to fight this guy.
"There we go. Not so eager now." He chuckled at his own joke and it sent an almost painful chill down her spine. He growled lowly and banged his hand on the ceiling, tge sight of the graying hand enough to make rachel's eyes widen and her fear to spike up tenfold. His hand seemed to be twice the size of a regular hand, with fingers that could easily wrap around whatever lay in front of it, he seemed to have nails that were sharpened for a purpose and seemed sharp enough to cut through whatever or whoever he deemed necessary. He let out a soft sigh and released it as his body seemed to morph in on itself and he shrunk about two feet, he now seemed to be about her height.
She could feel his gaze turn to her and he stepped closer before chuckling and shaking his head. "Fear not, for I'm not going to harm you too much...I come with a warning...for you and your little pack. You need to disappear and break away from them..or every single one of them will be killed for your insolence. We cant go and let you figure things out, can we?" He laughed again before revealing his sharpened claws again and lifting up her shirt. "and just so you don't forget about this..."
He reached forward and dragged his nail across her stomach, no doubt scarring whatever he was marking across her stomach. She felt tears spring to her eyes at the blinding pain and she wanted nothing more than to scream and fight this guy off but she was still held in her place by whatever force was holding her there. He stepped back after a moment and examined his handiwork before nodding to himself in satisfaction. He snapped his fingers and Rachel was dropped to the ground and hunched over herself in pain but still unable to speak. She looked up at him with wide eyes and tried to back away before he tilted his head and held his hand up "One last present. Welcome to the dark side, young siren."
All at once multiple things happened; The front door opened, she heard her name being called, the cloaked figure snapped his fingers again before disappearing in a cloud of dust and smoke as a cloud seemingly formed in Rachel's mind.
Rachel's eyes widened again as she looked around before holding her stomach and whimpering as they came back up bloody and soaked with her own blood before she looked up to see a smiling face quickly turn into a worried frown. They quickly dropped the bag in their hand and fell to their knees in front of her before quickly grabbing a wet towel and helping to wipe the blood off. "Who did this Rachel?"
"I-I don't know. he didn't uhm...he didn't say." She gulped and looked up again as two more people entered and they both instantly seemed worried as well before falling down at her side and fawning over her. A barrage of questions came at her before she quickly put her hands over her ears and yelled, making them all stop almost instantly. She looked up at the three people around her before gulping slowly "Who-Who are you guys?"
An hour later saw three girls rush into the high school with frantic eyes and worry etched all over their faces, they practically broke through the door and looked at the tall coach in the office with tears in their eyes. "C-coach...she doesn't remember us."
Sue turned from her spot in the chair and looked at them with a confused expression before standing up. "What do you mean? who doesn't remember you?"
"Rachel!" Quinn pulled away before walking to the couch and collapsing onto it. "Something happened while we were at the store getting food. She was on the floor bleeding and she doesn't know who we are anymore."
Sue frowned before looking at the other two girls and raising an eyebrow.
"I've never seen it before coach...Something was etched into her stomach, it was a symbol." Brittany spoke as she pulled her phone out and the picture she took of the symbol on Rachel's stomach.
The blonde coach took the phone and frowned before pulling a book from inside her desk and starting to look through it with a severe frown. "when was this?"
Brittany and Santana joined Quinn on the couch before glancing at each other. "Maybe forty minutes ago? We got her cleaned up and she passed out so we called puck over there to watch her while we came here. What happened to her." Santana looked at coach critically and frowned.
"She seems to have been visited by the order. They're a very old group of powerful rogues. They only get back together when something big happens...I'm willing to bet that something big involves Rachel. Did she say anything to you?"
Brittany frowned as she looked back at her before shaking her head slowly "She kept mumbling about how she was warned and whoever it was didn't want her to know who or where she came from. She said she was told she had to disappear to keep both us and herself safe. She had no idea what she was talking about but apparently if she didn't keep quiet and disappear that everyone in the clan would be killed."
Sue shook her head and leaned back silently before shaking her head.
"We need to find the truth behind Rachel's past. Whatever it is, it seems to be more important than any of us realize and enough to put a warrant on your heads."
- Hey guys! I'm slowly coming back but I wanted to upload this and hopefully get the ball rolling. I know I've been gone for a long time but I wanted to finish this story, if any. -
