Corina sat on a borrowed stool in the corner of Dasher's stall; said stallion wasn't in the foul-weather stable. She was thinking about many things and cringing at the fact, she hasn't studied for her exam in geography.
:You know the more you think about it the more you'll wind yourself up: Dasher spoke.
: Despite the masculine tone, it is just like speaking to myself.: Corina replied, :Sorry, that wasn't my normal behavior.:
:So what's got you so worked up now I know it's not the exam so tell me: Dasher states
Corina still sat staring at the straw on the floor, as she let her Companion into her deeper thoughts.
After a few minutes Dasher spoke. : So you finally admit you see him as more than a friend but you don't know if he see it as well:
 Corina admitted, :If this is real, we'll have a lifebond as strong as Herald Dirk and Herald Talia.:
: So beat it in to him trust me a male needs it sometimes: Dasher put it bluntly in front of her.
A neigh of laughter issued from the next stall. :Honestly, males no matter the species are all alike.:
: Sayvil, please for once: Dasher asked : Even if your right:
:You can't just beat sense into someone. In addition, Dasher, do not take that tone with me, I may be old but I can still kick your rump all over this Field.: Sayvil replied
: Well then how would you do it you seen the boy, his head is hard as a rock. : Dasher replies
:Let Rolan's Chosen handle it.: Sayvil answers, :Or you could have a dalliance with Morgan, but I would advise against that action.:
: Fine, I'll give him a day: Dasher added with a huff :then I'll kick some sense in to the boy.:
:What is the main rule among the herd?: Sayvil questions
: We don't interfere with another companion's chosen: He groaned out.
:And kicking Morgan's Chosen, is called interference. You wish to deal with Rolan?: Sayvil questions
: No, but I'm mad can't he see what he is doing to her.: Dasher complained
:Ever consider, he's in denial, or doesn't know about the true power of lifebonding?: Sayvil asked to just Dasher.
:I guess so, but I still think he needs a hoof to his rear.: Dasher replies
Meanwhile on the other side of the field, Morgan was forcing her Chosen to walk back to the Collegium all the while giving a mental earful.
Harry groaned as he listened to his companion. :Must you rub it in, I know I need to talk with her but our timetables don't match any more.:
:How did my Chosen get to be so stupid, you're in the same year-group, also you share foal-watch this season.: Morgan sighed
: Fine, tonight when were on foal watch I'll talk with her will that make you happy: Harry replied.
:Most of the time, but I itch a little.: Morgan replied as she dropped a hint.
:You silly hayburner: Harry chuckled as he went to starching behind her ears.
Morgan tossed her head, :You do not take a hint well, do you?:
:Fine: He said with a blush.
Morgan rolled her eyes, :Get on, you're short legs are slow and I want a brushing before your dinner bell rings.:
Harry hopped on, rode back to the stable, walked Morgan to her stall, and gave her a thorough brushing.
Morgan sighed in bliss; she went back out into the field, once Harry left the stable to get something to eat.
Harry went through his day planning what he was going do this night.
Finally, Harry had gone out to the field to sit with the unpartnered companion mares that were pregnant and were almost ready to foal. It was a task given to the trainees to sit with the mare that was due to give birth to help and if necessary fetch the riding instructor for extra aid.
Now normally, only one trainee camped out but sometimes, another trainee would volunteer to help just in case something went wrong.
This night Corina volunteered to join Harry out in the field that night.
"Ready for a long night?" Corina asks, walking up to Harry. As they went into the stall of a pregnant mare.
"With you there it won't be so bad." Harry gently teased her as he normally does.
Corina shook her head. She settled onto the straw covered floor of the stall.
Harry lean back in to the straw and looked at his year mate , friend, maybe even something more that's what he's here to find out.
Corina stared at the wall of the stall, "Harry, have you ever wished to find your lifemate?"
