"Finished?" Saiph asked as she looked over to Harry. She and Viktor were preparing to leave for Juvasshytta. It would be their second official date, and Viktor was taking her to one of the fancier restaurants and then, well, she didn't know what else he had planned. Draco had chosen to stay at Durmstrang and work on a potions assignment.

"Yep - which means I can actually make it to the village today," He said with a wide grin.

"So who are you dating this time?" Saiph asked.

"Huh?" Harry said with distraction in his voice. "Oh, not dating anybody. Just planning a prank and need some supplies," He said with a grin and a wink, taking his books and essay to his room. Saiph looked like she didn't believe him, as he'd been rather secretive over the last few weeks and was spending all of his free time with Professor Thyra. Harry had, in recent weeks, pulled away from his family and Hermes. Saiph watched him rush around before looking at Viktor with concern.

"Come on he's fine," Viktor said with a smile. "We're going to be late."

"Alright," She smiled as he tugged her hand and they went out from the longhouse. They trekked down the familiar mountain path that would lead them to a nearby fjord. As the small magical village was right across the fjord, the students were taken to Juvasshttya by boat. "You still haven't told me where we're going." Saiph said pointedly as she turned back to look at Viktor. She was walking a bit in front of him, still holding his hand. He twirled her into him as they stopped, in a small show of affection.

"That would ruin the surprise." Viktor said in a quiet voice as more students gathered around the dock. Twenty students filled into small ships that looked like miniature versions of their longhouses. The enchanted ships took the students down the fjord for a ten minute trip to the Juvasshttya dock.

"Come on," Viktor said as he helped Saiph out of the boat. They waved to Filip who was taking off with his friends to a local store, the Imp's Nest, it specialized in practical joke items and magical fireworks. Viktor led Saiph into a nearby magical post office, it had an open floo available for the public.

"Viktor we're not supposed to use the floo," Saiph whisper yelled to Viktor. Viktor just gave her a grin. He reached into his pocket and withdrew 3 galleons, then laid them in front of the clerk on duty.

"Just make sure you come back in time, y'hear?" The young man behind the desk said with a grin to the two. "I don't fancy pissing Hardrada off."

"No problem." Viktor said. He ushered Saiph into the floo. "Gringotts, Oslo." The two were whisked away through the floo system and spit out into the front foyer of Gringotts in the capital of Norway.

"Viktor - why are we in Oslo?" Saiph was actually becoming concerned. If they were caught they would be in serious trouble for leaving the village. She didn't think Narcissa would be pleased to hear they went to Oslo for a date, no matter how happy she was to hear of them dating.

"We'll be fine," Viktor said and pulled her towards a teller. "Eh-hem," He cleared his throat, securing the Goblin teller's attention. "I have some money and tickets in escrow for me. Viktor Krum."

The Goblin did not bother looking up, "Key." It spoke the word as a demand and Viktor had to contain an eye-roll. As it was, he slid the key in front of the papers the Goblin was reading. The Goblin finally looked at Viktor with an annoyed look.

Viktor impassively looked at the rude creature, "I have a schedule to keep." Viktor spoke in even tones. Saiph rubbed her fingers over his knuckles soothing some of the tension coiling in Viktor, he really did not like Goblins. The Goblin had no reservations and derisively rolled its' eyes at Viktor. It jumped down from its high chair and walked away from them. It returned seconds later with an envelope.

The teller handed it over and dismissively called, "Next!"

Saiph jerked Viktor away from the teller's desk, "Come on. You're not allowed to knock out a goblin," She said quietly.

"Greedy little shits," Viktor mumbled as he inspected the envelope as they stepped out of Gringotts.

"What's wrong?" Saiph stopped her progress halting Viktor who was leading her out of Ridgeback Alley.

Viktor held up a note, "They took out twenty percent of the money I requested for having to venture into the muggle world for our tickets."

"Tickets? What tickets?" Saiph said, curiosity lining her voice despite the grin on her face.

"These," Viktor slipped the tickets out of the envelope and gave them to Saiph. He looked at her with amusement as he watched her reaction. It went from confusion to excitement in less than a second.

"Two tickets to a matinee showing of Pride & Prejudice?" Saiph practically squealed as she pulled Viktor to her. She kissed him fervently before she pulled back to look at the tickets again. "I can't believe you're taking me to a play!" She was chattering happily about the book the play was based on. Viktor just watched her, content to let her go on, he had a feeling from her description he was in for a long couple of hours.

"You totally fell asleep!" Saiph teased Viktor as they made their way through Juvasshttya. They were headed to Hring's House, an upscale tavern in the small wizarding village. It was owned and operated by Madam Hring's daughter. She'd originally opened the tavern to cater to the more wealthy Durmstrang students, as an alternative to the local pub. Most of the students still chose the Wand and Crown as the proprietor served ale to fifth years and up.

"I blame quidditch," Viktor said sheepishly, trying to defend his actions. In all honesty it was true, he was dead tired and the not-exactly-action-packed-play put him to sleep. He'd tried his best to stay awake throughout the play, knowing it was one of Saiph's favorite books.

Saiph laughed at his guilty expression, "They've got a movie version of it, y'know."

"We'll watch it over the break," Viktor said emphatically.

Saiph laughed, "I'm only teasing! We don't have to watch it at all."

"Yeah, but it's your favorite," Viktor said with a grin.

"You think we can get Harry and Draco to watch it?" Saiph said, the teasing lilt still in her voice.

Viktor laughed thinking of the looks that would appear on his brother and cousin's faces at watching a quintessential chick-flick. He was grinning as he said, "I'm sure if you added your infamous pout while asking they would attempt stomach it." He snorted, "You'd probably get Uncles Sirius, Ted, and dad to watch too." His laughter turned stony as he noticed some of his classmates looking at him funny.

"I'm so going to try that," Saiph laughed. She noticed the shift in his attitude but paid it no mind. Viktor was the least comfortable with attention out of the boys. He enjoyed commanding respect on the quidditch pitch, but the constant staring got to him. Harry could easily brush it off and play the crowd, which was probably a side effect of being the only son of James Potter, and raised by the equally incorrigible Sirius Black. Draco didn't give a damn about people other than his family, so it never bothered him much.

Saiph grabbed Viktor's hand as he started to ruminate on the people of the village and some of the Durmstrang students. She smiled at him and he gave her a small grin and pulled her to him. As they continued their stroll to the restaurant, he wrapped an arm around her shoulder, keeping her close. It was then that their afternoon changed.

Saiph, by chance, looked towards the alley between the restaurant and another shop and stopped dead in her tracks. "Viktor.." She whispered. Standing at the end of the alleyway in the shadows of the building was Harry, and he certainly wasn't alone.

Viktor stopped to look, "..Is that Professor Thyra?" He whispered barely believing his eyes.

"Yes." Saiph said before breaking from Viktor's arms. "You bloody pervert!" She screamed out as she came to the entrance of the alley with her wand drawn. Viktor was right behind her.

Harry broke away from the heated lip-lock he was in with his Professor as he heard Saiph's voice. He turned and put Thyra behind him calling out to Saiph, "Saiph - wait I can explain," Harry tried to speak. Saiph, though, was looking at Thyra, who had a twisted smile on her face. Suddenly Harry's eyes rolled back in his skull and Thyra caught him as he fell. Saiph sent a silent stunning curse as soon as she saw Harry's eyes. Viktor cast only seconds later but both spells crashed haplessly into the back of the alley as Professor Thyra apparated away with Harry.

"Viktor!" Saiph yelled his name even though he was right behind her. She spun back to face him with a horrified look on her face, "That can't have just happened." She said with wide eyes hoping against hope that Harry wasn't in trouble.

"We need to get back to the school now!" Viktor said taking her hand and spinning to take off back to the docks. They were stopped by a fiery blue flash in front of them.

"Hermes!" Viktor nearly shouted in excitement. "Harry's been kidnapped." Viktor said to the phoenix familiar. The phoenix trilled mournfully, feeling the pain his friend was in. The bird disappeared, only to reappear seconds later looking a bit worse for the ware. Hermes trilled a note of urgency to the two teens.

"Hermes!" Saiph said looking over the bird, "I didn't know anything could stop a phoenix," She spoke so fast in her worry Viktor could barely understand her but he knew now the situation was dire.

"Nothing that I'm aware of can," Viktor said with a growl. He turned towards the phoenix. "You need to take us to the Headmaster, now!" Viktor snapped out. Hermes landed on Viktor's shoulder and Viktor grabbed Saiph's hand tightly. They disappeared from the village in a flash of fire.

Headmaster Hardrada was sitting happily with his daughter Diana on his lap as she flipped through her story book. They were in the foyer of his private quarters with his wife and son. Artemisia and Erik were listening to a wizarding wireless.

A flash of flame interrupted them, making the little six year old hop off her father's lap. "Harry!" She shouted happily only to pout when she noticed it wasn't her favorite young wizard. Harry always snuck her the best candy.

"I hope you have a good reason for flashing into my private-quarters," Headmaster Hardrada said before noticing the panicked look on their faces. "What's wrong?" He stood alert and slipped his wand into his hand but kept it lowered.

"It's Harry," Saiph spoke rapidly. "We saw him kissing Professor Thyra in an alleyway. When we went to confront her, Harry turned to us and then she did something. His eyes rolled back, we tried to stun her but she grabbed him and then apparated out before our spells hit. Hermes tried to follow them, but somehow he was bounced back."

Artemisia gasped as Viktor merely nodded, confirming Saiph's words. The Headmaster's face turned to stone at Saiph's words. He turned to his wife, "Contact Narcissa and the aurors. Get them here as soon as possible!" His voice was thunderous as his anger rose. "You two get Draco and bring him to my office!" With three long strides he was to the door and leaving those in his private quarters staring after him.

Artemisia was the first to snap out of it, "Erik, darling, take your sister to her room now and stay there." The young boy knew not to argue and corralled his younger sister to their rooms. "You two had better go." She ushered them out and moved through the rooms and into the Headmaster's office through a secret passageway. She grabbed a handful of floo powder and tossed it and then stuck her head in saying, "Krum Manor, Narcissa Krum." She only had to wait a few seconds for Narcissa to appear.

"Artemisia, what can I do for you?" Narcissa said with a suffering sigh. She could only think of what her charges had done this time.

Artemisia winced, Narcissa could put an angry veela to shame. "We believe Harry may have been kidnapped" – and immediately covered her ears.

"WHAT?!" Narcissa shouted. Artemisia uncovered her ears in time to hear glass shattering.

"I need you to contact Sirius" Artemisia said in a hurry. "I need to call the aurors. Come through the floo as soon as you can. The password is twenty-one." Artemisia ended the floo call. The Headmaster's wife noticed the familiarity between mother and son as Narcissa inclined her head with a jerk. "This is going to end badly," Artemisia whispered as started the next floo call. "Norwegian Ministry of Magic, Auror Department."

Headmaster Hardrada thundered down the spiraling steps of his office. He was fuming and his magical aura was pulsing around him. Students dodged out of his way and stared at his back in awe as he rushed past them. They knew their headmaster was powerful but to produce a visible aura was a feat only a few magical beings were capable of.

The Headmaster threw open the doors to the exercise hall. His eyes scanned the room like a hawk as he found Professor Ironside doing one handed push-ups. "Ironside – to me, now!" He shouted the words and they echoed around the hall. The burly professor shot up from his work out and took in his boss's disposition.

"What happened?" Ironside said not bothering to grab his cloak before falling into line with Headmaster Hardrada. He flipped his wand into his hand using the holster devised for him by Professor Rurik, it used his wrist motions to activate the charms on it.

"Mr. Black-Potter has been taken by Rozalina Thyra," Hardrada bit the words out with anger.

"We should have acted on our suspicions," Ironside said softly making sure not be overheard by the students scrambling to get out of their way.

"We had no proof," Hardrada replied through gritted teeth. "Get Professor Boddason and meet me at Thyra's office." Professor Ironside nodded and took off at a fast pace. The Headmaster continued through the halls coming to a stop outside of the Care of Magical Creatures office. He grabbed the handle and twisted but the door would not budge.

"She warded the door," Professor Boddason's voice came from behind him.

"So destroy it," Professor Ironside spoke up.

"There's no need to," Hardrada said with a small grin. "We may not have moving stairwells but this castle is as much alive as Hogwarts." He turned back and placed his hand on the door. "Durmstrang - your Headmaster asks that you open the door." He spoke the words aloud. The two professors stepped back as the door flashed red before disintegrating on its hinges. Hardrada stepped into his professor's office.

"What are we looking for?"

"Anything that might tell us where she has taken Mr. Black-Potter. His familiar was not able to follow him."

"That's impossible. A phoenix's fire cannot be blocked," Ironside said as he rifled through Thyra's drawers.

"So is surviving the killing curse, but we have walking proof of that one," Professor Boddason said. "Where's the passage to her quarters?" He asked the Headmaster.

"Behind that portrait of the basilisk," The Headmaster responded.

"It's warded." As soon as the words came out of his mouth the portrait disintegrated like the main door. "That is definitely handy." He and the Headmaster entered her private quarters. The rooms were sparsely decorated, as though she hadn't planned on staying long. The Headmaster growled at the thought.

"Oh no," Professor Boddason picking up a pair of boxer shorts.

"What?" Hardrada turned to him, holding a memorable pair of 'I Dream of Jeannie' boxers. "Damn it!" Hardrada swore loudly. A month ago Saiph cursed Harry's robes and clothes, except for his underwear, to be transparent to everyone but himself. It took them two hours to figure out a reversal charm. She was given detention for nearly two weeks not that she seemed to care.

"How badly do you think Narcissa's going to murder us?" Professor Boddason asked almost completely seriously.

"If we're lucky and Harry manages to get away safely. She might kill us before dismembering us." Hardrada said. A hoot drew their attention to a window, and the two men turned in concert to see a pitch black eagle owl in the window. The owl looked around for the person it was to deliver its letter to. The bird's magical senses had pinpointed this particular area as Rozalina Thyra's last known location.

"It has a letter," Professor Boddason whispered. The owl sensed their intent and alighted into the air but the Headmaster was faster. In less than a second the owl was stunned. Professor Boddason caught the unconscious avian and quickly plucked the letter from its claw. Professor Boddason handed the letter to the Headmaster.

"Roz," The Headmaster begin reading from the letter. "Our Lord is growing impatient, as am I. I am not pleased that it has taken you nearly the entire school year. Deliver the boy soon or face discipline. It's signed, Mistress." He finished with anger in his voice.

"That 'lord' comment screams Death Eaters." Boddason concluded.

"There are no identifying marks," The Headmaster said. "Bring the owl and let's get back to my office before the Black family charges down here." They moved to her office and collected Professor Ironside. Ironside reviewed the note as they made their way back to the Headmaster's office. Hardrada threw open the doors to a chorus of voices.

"I know you're upset," his wife's voice rang clear throughout the office. "But we had no idea or else I would have burned the little bitch myself." That shut the furious Blacks down rather fast considering the fire in the fireplace flared to an obscene level of heat. The Headmaster observed the three aurors sent to the school. They were dressed in the dark-blue robes of the Norwegian auror department. One was designated as a captain with yellow stripes on his shoulders.

The captain moved forward into the middle of the office, "Headmaster." He bowed his head to Hardrada, who returned the nod. "I am Captain Bruun. These are aurors Fross and Haugen. We've agreed to let Captains Black and Krum assist, given that the missing child is Captain Black's adopted son. So please speak freely - have you found anything? Do you believe she has taken him to Russia?"

"I believe she is a death eater." He handed over the note and gestured to the owl in Professor Boddason's hands.

A gasp drew their attention to Narcissa and Sirius. "That's Bellatrix's owl." Sirius just nodded at his cousin's words.

"Well that pretty much confirms Thyra's connection to the death eaters." Captain Bruun said.

"Yes but it talks of You-Know-Who as though he's alive and well," Auror Fross spoke up.

"I don't know about well but he is still alive," Narcissa said in a whisper. She was sitting now, slumped, as if the anger had simply left her like air from a balloon, as soon as she saw Bellatrix's owl. She didn't want to think of what her sister would do to Harry. Saiph had turned her head into Viktor's shoulder at her aunt's words. Vladimir moved to put a hand on both his sons' shoulders in comfort. Harry was good but where ever Thyra had taken him was sure to have many death eaters about.

"And more importantly, Harry's phoenix cannot get to him." Headmaster Hardrada told the aurors.

"Do you have any idea where she could have taken him?" Captain Bruun asked Narcissa and Sirius.

"We are about ninety-five percent sure Bellatrix and Rodolphus are in Albania, but we have no idea where." Sirius spoke since he could tell Narcissa was fighting tears.

"Fross, Haugen, search the Professor's quarters again see if you can find anything the Headmaster may have missed. Captains Black, Krum and I will go to the Albanian Ministry. In the meantime," Captain Bruun looked at Hermes. "Keep trying to get to your human." Hermes bobbed his head. As soon as Captain Bruun finished speaking his aurors followed Professor Boddason out of the room.

"I'm going with you," Headmaster Hardrada said to the Captains. They nodded their consent. "Ironside, you are in charge of the school while I'm gone." With that, the four men flashed out of the office through the floo system.

"Lady Narcissa," Professor Ironside's deep voice resonated throughout the office. Everyone turned to look at him. "Harry is one of the most capable students I have ever taught. If anyone can manage to wiggle out of this, it's him." He then turned to Draco, Viktor, and Saiph. "Tell anyone I said that and you'll be running until your legs fall off." The three teens were able to smile at his attempt at lightening the mood. All those remaining in the office watched and waited as Hermes kept attempting to sense Harry.

"Ughh, my head," Harry murmured as he came too. He wearily blinked his eyes as he tried to clear his brain of fogginess. His vision finally cleared and he blinked in confusion as he looked into the smirking face of his Professor. "What?" He tried to move his arms forward but found them restrained. He was bound in magical chains that tightened painfully as he struggled.

"I'm told the stunning curse can cause disorientation and even a concussion when used at point blank range. It's nice to finally have confirmation of that," the low tones came from a woman who walked out of the shadows. Her dark curls were pulled back into a haphazard manner and her heavy lidded eyes were a familiar color. As she stepped closer Harry could make out her traditional robes and aristocratic face properly.

It all clicked in Harry's head and he ran through a myriad of emotions before settling on anger. His anger coursed through his veins with a white hot heat. He turned to his professor and his eyes turned from their natural emerald to the blazing green of a familiar curse. "You bitch! You set me up!" He went on swearing at her in both Bulgarian and English. A smack rang out and Harry's head snapped back against the chair he was chained to.

Bellatrix had crossed the room at a remarkable pace and back-handed Harry across the face. Her wedding rings spilt his lip open and the force of the slap made him bite his tongue open. "Filthy little mud-blood." She snapped. "That is not how you talk to your betters. Or did my darling sister not teach you that?" She ended in a mocking tone. Harry growled in his throat and spat a glob of blood at her. Bellatrix brought a gloved hand up and wiped the blood away. Her violet eyes flashed, "Crucio." The unforgivable hit Harry in his chest. Radiating searing pain quickly spread throughout his body. His jaw clenched as he fought not scream.

"Mistress," Rozalina spoke softly with her head bowed not meeting Bellatrix's eyes. "We're not supposed to injure him."

Bellatrix whipped her head around to look at her. She stopped her curse but slapped Rozalina. Harry watched as his Professor did not even flinch at the slap. Bellatrix stepped in close to Thyra and whispered something to her. She nodded and Harry hear the word mistress again. Bellatrix stepped back a shot a cutting curse at Harry. It split open his cheek.

"Guard him. Don't get too comfortable Potter, the Dark Lord shall be ready for you soon," Bellatrix turned and walked to the door of the room he was in.

"Bloody bitch," He said loud enough for Bellatrix to hear. She paused with the door open and Harry could see two death eaters in the hallway. They were unmasked but appeared to be guarding the door.

Bellatrix resumed walking but left him with, "That would be Aunt Bitch to you." She slammed the door shut behind her.

"You're a death eater?" Harry glared at the woman.

"Did you really think I liked you, loved you?" Thyra laughed. "I only love one person and they are not male." She sneered at him. "It's pathetic really - a simple twist on the amortentia potion snared you."

Harry's glare intensified but he wanted to keep her talking. He needed to find out as much as he could about where he was. So he laughed at her, "You do realize my family's going to eviscerate you?"

"Oh and how do they plan on getting here? We've taken the necessary precautions. Not even your phoenix can travel inside the wards." That struck Harry with surprise. Thyra chuckled darkly, "You're not our only enemy with a phoenix, although I'll admit, the ward was difficult to find. Ancient Greece adapted it when Alexander conquered the Persians." She gloated, and all the while Harry was plotting. He could see in reflection that there was window behind him and that he was high up. She continued talking and Harry used a burst of wandless magic on the chains. They wrapped tighter to him, cutting into his skin. She paused to laugh at his plight, "The more you resist or tamper with the chains, the stronger they become."

Harry tried not to move in pain as the chains dug into his skin. His eyes closed in pain and she continued talking, "Even if they got here, they would have to fight off all of my comrades. And besides, the ritual will be ready soon." Harry's eyes snapped open at her words.

He knew he had to get loose. The only way he could think of was his lighting. Harry closed his eyes gathering his power. They snapped open and found Thyra's. They flashed with power, "You remember when you asked what my meetings with the Headmaster had been for?" She moved towards him with interest. "You're about to find out." Harry smirked as her eyes lit up. With a burst of power a lightning bolt came crashing into the window behind him, setting off a caterwauling charm. The lightning shattered the glass inward sending thousands of shards crashing into the both of them. The lightning bolt continued forward, striking the chains wrapped around him. The metal melted as the bolt raced through the chains and set Harry free.

Harry surged forward out of the chair knocking Thyra into the doorway. She crashed into the two guards making their way in, a smirk crossed Harry's face fleetingly. Harry then heard footsteps pounding up the stairs and immediately turned and sprinted to the window. Looking down, he saw that he was three stories up. "Accio wand," he said, focusing on his magic, before taking a deep breath and stepping up to the large window. He looked over and saw a drain attached to the wall. "Get him!" He heard Thyra's voice come from behind him. Without even a second of hesitation, Harry leapt from the windowsill, the slightest surge of relief coursed through him as he briefly saw several jets of light fly over his head. That relief disappeared as he hit the ground hard and heard a nasty crack as he rolled forward to lessen the impact of his fall upon his legs. As he came up from his roll he caught his wand in his right hand.

He fell to the ground, on his left side, thankfully so, as a spell passed right where his head had previously been, creating a small crater when it hit the ground. His left ankle had been damaged or sprained in his three story flight from the window, and he gritted his teeth in preparation, grunting "Episkey!" as he forced more magic into the simple healing spell to mend his ankle. It cracked again and he groaned at the pain but was able to get to his feet and stand this time. He chanced a look behind him and saw death eaters launching volleys of curses at him from the window he jumped from, while others were rushing out the back doors of the mansion.

He was still bleeding from the deep lacerations the chains caused and his head was spinning, but he had to run. Harry took off in a dead sprint, making for the dense forest about thirty yards off. He dodged spells that were flying at him and turned briefly flicked a glance over his shoulder, rapidly casting behind him at the death eaters. His banishing charm hit three of the death eaters, sending them flying into the walls of the mansion. The other death eaters hesitated for a moment before firing faster at the teen. He didn't look back again, not even once, increasing his speed as much as he could, barely slowing as he broke through the tree line. "Incendio," Harry waved his wand behind him and the first few trees he'd passed by crackled angrily as they burst into flame, buying him a scant few seconds to catch his breath.

Harry continued running while dodging curses, and a near-hit caused the ground directly to his left to blow up, forcing Harry off of his feet. He tumbled to the side but immediately rose again, casting. Harry cast three silent bombarding hexes at his pursuers before darting off on his previous course. His curses took down two more of his pursuers and made the rest a bit more cautious as they chased him. "Hermes!" Harry shouted trying to call his familiar. Nothing happened as he ran. "When do these wards end?" He huffed to himself as he kept running.

"Ooh no!" Harry skidded to a stop as the trees broke and he nearly ran off a cliff. The ocean was crashing into the bottom of cliffs, about fifty feet down. A killing curse sailed passed his head. "Please be the end." He sent up a prayer to any listening. Harry shuffled backwards and then took off once again. At the edge of the cliff he jumped out as far as he could and started to fall. "Hermes!" He yelled again as the waves got close. Suddenly Harry felt a change ripple through his body. Harry went from falling to flying. He swooped in to the air feeling the water of the ocean on his talons. As he started up a flash of flame startled him and the next thing he knew a pair of talons clutched at his arms and unfortunately his wounds. He passed out as he disappeared in a fiery blue flash.

Artemisia, Professor Ironside, Narcissa, Draco, Saiph, and Viktor sat waiting in the Headmaster's office. The aurors and Professor Boddason had yet to return and they'd been gone for nearly an hour. The group merely sat in silence as they watched Hermes. The phoenix had tried multiple times to reach his human but had failed each time. With each failure, more weight seemed to settle on the inhabitants of the office.

Finally, the door to the office opened and the aurors came in. Neither of them looked pleased. Auror Fross, the taller of the two, went immediately to the fireplace, throwing in some powder and flashing out of existence with a nod to his partner.

"Did you find anything?" Narcissa questioned so fast the auror took a second to make out her words.

Auror Haugen nodded, his wavy blond hair falling into his eyes. He pushed it back as he spoke, "We found what seems to be a modified version of the amortentia potion in a perfume bottle. It's likely that Mr. Black-Potter was dosed with an aerosolized version of the love potion. We also.." he paused, noting the rapidly growing look of ire on Narcissa's face, "..found some of his clothes in her quarters." He finished with a gulp.

Narcissa closed her eyes and the normally postured woman slumped in her chair. "I'll burn that woman alive if I ever meet her," Narcissa whispered. Artemisia came and stood next to where she sat and took Narcissa's hand in hers, trying to offer some comfort. All three teens in the room had such fierce looks of anger on their faces that the auror stepped back from them. Professor Ironside and Professor Boddason moved to their students' side protectively. They tried to be a silent comfort to them.

They were all startled when, in a flash of flame, Hermes disappeared. They sucked in a breath as they realized what it meant. They waited on bated breath for five seconds before Hermes reappeared. Curiously, the phoenix was not holding a teenage boy, but a goshawk, showing the mottled brown and white plumage and barred brown tail of a juvenile of the species. It was bleeding from wounds that stretched from its wing to wing in a circular pattern.

"Hermes!" Narcissa called urgently. She sprung up from her chair to stand in front of the phoenix and hawk it clutched. "Is that Harry?" She asked the phoenix. Hermes trilled and nodded to the woman, whom, to her credit, took charge of the situation without pause. "Take him to the infirmary. We'll meet you there." Hermes flashed out of the office.

Hermes appeared in the infirmary and trilled loudly, alerting Healer Saxony. The Durmstrang Medi-Wizard came out of his office to find Hermes crying tears onto the hawk laying on one of the beds. The doors burst open and in came flying a torrent of people; aurors, family, and Professors.

"What is going on?" Healer Saxony asked as turning towards the group.

"That's Harry," Draco told his school's healer.

"Ah," Healer Saxony turned back to the bed ignoring the rest of the people. He looked at the phoenix quizzically, "Are you sure that's Harry?" The Phoenix glared at the healer. "Right." He muttered. He looked at the hawk carefully noting the plumage and coloration which signified that the bird was a juvenile goshawk. Slowly, the young hawk's eyes fluttered open, and it gazed around in confusion. He studied the hawk's features, and finally found what he was looking for, a small lightning bolt design in the feathers. "Mr. Black-Potter can you understand me?" The hawk nodded. "Are you an Animagus?" The hawk's eyes widened, understanding what happened finally.

"He has not learned how to transform yet," Narcissa spoke up.

Healer Saxony nodded, "I'm going to use the spell to turn you back." Hawk-Harry nodded and clicked his beak in understanding. Healer Saxony tapped his wand gently on the hawk's head. In seconds the hawk on the bed was replaced with a fifteen year old boy.

"Harry," Narcissa was upon him in an instant. She wrapped the boy in a hug as he buried his head in her shoulders.

"I'm sorry," Harry repeated over and over again as his emotions boiled over. Narcissa hugged him tighter as she felt tears soak her robes.

"Shh, sweet boy," She whispered to him. She soothed him running her hand across his back. "You did nothing wrong. She drugged you, honey." She said quietly. Harry pulled back from his aunt with a questioning look. "She used a modified amortentia potion." Narcissa said quietly. Harry pulled away and laid back against the bed. He turned away from the others in the hospital wing. His cousins came and sat around his bed protectively. They sat there for about five minutes before they were interrupted.

"Ehhem," Captain Bruun cleared his throat. Narcissa turned to the auror Captain with a glare. "I'm sorry ma'am, but I need his statement and anything that might help us figure out where they're hiding." Narcissa did not respond, and intensified her glare.

Sirius stepped forward and placed a hand on Narcissa's shoulder. She relented, moving to allow Sirius to come forward. Sirius sat on the edge of the bed and reached a hand out to turn Harry's face towards him. Harry met the gray eyes of his godfather and saw only understanding and worry in them. "Harry, just think about what happened today." Sirius instructed him. Sirius placed his wand to Harry's temple and drew forth the memory of the day's events. Sirius withdrew a vial and gave placed the memory inside. He gave a wink before turning to Captain Bruun. "Here," He handed the vial to him, "I'm staying with Harry. Tell Vladimir I want that bitch's head in a box." Captain Bruun nodded and took the memory from Sirius.

"Healer Saxony may I use you floo?" Captain Bruun asked.

"Go ahead." The healer waived him to his office. "Would anyone like to explain what is going on to me?"

"Yes, come with me," Professor Ironside said to him. Professor Ironside took Healer Saxony into his office to explain.

Sirius sat on the bed that held his charge, "Harry," he called to him. Harry turned to face him. "I want you to know, you did nothing wrong. It is Professor," Sirius sneered the title, "Thyra that was in the wrong." Harry nodded his head but turned away from his family staring into the distance. Sirius sighed and took Harry's hand in his. They sat in silence for a time just trying to comfort Harry with their presence.

Three weeks later, Harry was found sitting in Healer Saxony's office for their third meeting. The office was rather inviting compared to other offices in the school, and the healer had pictures of oceans and beaches along with some of pictures of his family. Harry had come to know that Healer Saxony had a wife and an eight year old son.

"Would you like some tea?" Healer Saxony asked as Harry took a seat in one of the comfy plush chairs in the office.

"Please," Harry nodded. This wasn't his first round of therapy but it was the first time he'd become fond of the therapist at hand. "You know, your son really looks like you." Harry said looking at the picture on the desk. The little boy had dark red - almost auburn - hair that had some curl to it. The little boy also shared his father's stormy gray eyes.

"Yes well luckily for him he got his mother's nose." Healer Saxony said with a grin setting the tea down. His nose was a bit crooked, almost as if it had been broken once, but was never properly reset. Harry gave him a small smile and took a sip of his tea. "I noticed you've started talking to your cousins again." Saxony said open-endedly.

That was what Harry liked about him so far. Saxony would usually give him a question or a statement and let him talk on his own. His other shrink had brashly prodded him with question upon question until he wanted to lash out. "Well. I haven't really been given a choice, y'see." He said, with a hint of his characteristic humor. "They won't really leave me alone and considering the last time I stopped talking to them I ended up sleeping with a death eater who tried to use me in a ritual, I figured it might be a good idea." Harry gave the man a small grin. "Besides, they don't treat me like glass that's about to shatter."

Healer Saxony nodded, "Who's treating you like that?"

Harry shrugged before saying, "The professors that know the whole story, my aunts, and Nymphadora."

"They're worried for you. You didn't talk for three days after the fact. You only started talking during our first session."

"I was processing everything." Harry defended. "Besides they're all worried I'll break down and freak out the next time a woman touches me." Harry said.

"In the muggle world what she did would be considered statutory rape." Saxony said. Harry gave him surprised look. "Muggles are far better in psychology and as my goal was to work at Durmstrang. I figured it would be good to learn about psychology, most muggle schools have councilors for their students."

Harry looked suitably impressed. He paused gathering his thoughts before speaking, "I don't consider it rape. She abused my trust and the potion lowered my inhibitions but I was willing. I really liked her, she was interesting and she didn't treat me like a conquest."

"A conquest?" Healer Saxony asked.

Harry gave the man a hard look, "You damn well know most of the girls I date end up bragging about it."

"I was under the impression you were fine with that?" Saxony said in a questioning tone.

"It depends on the girl. A few of them I actually enjoyed spending time with." Harry grinned.

Healer Saxony nodded and changed the subject, "They found the mansion correct?"

Harry nodded, "Yeah it was emptied out though."

"Except for?"

"Thyra's body," Harry finished the sentence. He stood and walked to the window in office. It looked out at the mountains surrounding Durmstrang. He placed his forehead against the cool window pane.

"And how do you feel about that?"

Harry breathed out. His breath caused the glass to fog, "I'm glad, though I wish I could have done it."

"And how does that make you feel?" Saxony asked him.

Another breath fogged the window again, "A bit scared." He admitted quietly. Saxony stood and moved to Harry's side.

He placed a hand on his shoulder, "Good. If you weren't I would be infinitely worried. Death eaters and their ilk tend not to feel any sort of remorse or apprehension at their actions. You have the desire for revenge because she abused your trust but I don't believe you would act on it."

"So, do we still have to meet for these sessions?" Harry asked. He wasn't sure if he wanted to or not.

"How about this. I will continue to be here during the time of your free period. If you want to talk come and find me. If not that's fine. I will not force you and I think you'll be fine given time. You are a remarkably resilient boy."

"Thank you," Harry nodded. "I think I'll come again next week."

"Good." Healer Saxony finished off his tea and dismissed him. "And good luck in the tournament, champ." Harry nodded at him with a smile.

"And for our final round in the dueling tournament of the 1992-1993 school year we have family against family!" Headmaster Hardrada announced to the great pleasure of the Durmstrang students. For the last two years the Black-Krum family had dominated the dueling tournament. And what was especially enjoyable was that they never thought to hold back against each other. Each teen was driven to win the tournament and so far both Viktor and Harry had a win. Viktor in their third year and Harry last year. Saiph had just beaten a seventh year for third place. While Viktor went out in the round before to another seventh year.

"Hoping to dethrone our reigning champion Harry Black-Potter is his cousin Draco Black-Krum!" The Headmaster announced to great applause. Harry in his signature red dragon hide gambeson stood with his back to the professors, family, and board of trustees. There was one noticeable absence of the trustees; Volga Sr.

The Headmaster and Black family had come to the conclusion that Volga's involvement in securing Rozalina Thyra her job had violated his unbreakable vow. His family on the other hand, given they did not know about the vow, thought he had a heart attack.

Draco was in his emerald gambeson and facing his mother and father. Vladimir and Narcissa gave him encouraging smiles and held up a sign with his name on. He scanned to his left to see Sirius holding a sign with Harry's name on it. Then next to Sirius sat the Tonks family, holding signs for both of them while Nymphadora was sporting two-toned red and green hair to match both boys' gambesons. He shook his head at his family and focused on Harry.

Both boys were very aware of hard this duel would be. They knew each other's styles as well as they knew their own. Draco was forming plans and contingency plans in his head as they waited for the duel to start, while Harry had decided to forgo any plan and rely on his instincts to counter Draco's planning.

Professor Ironside stood on the outside of the dueling pit. He raised his voice to be heard over the din. "Try not to kill each other boys." They grinned at him. He rolled his eyes, "Bow." Draco and Harry with one last flourish gave each other deep bows. "Merlin save me from the Blacks," Professor Ironside said under his breath and then for all to hear, "begin!"

Harry struck first with three silent blasting curses aimed at the ground around Draco. Draco dodged by jumping forward and rolling back to his feet. The spells harmlessly rocketed into the sandy pit, prompting an explosion of sand and dust. Draco, with a quick transfiguration spell, turned the sand into glass shards and banished them at Harry. Harry dived to the side and cast a protego duo spell to stop the glass.

Harry defended himself from three more transfiguration hexes, and had to keep his shield spell up to stop the physical attacks. The crowd was really getting behind Draco now as he forced Harry on the defensive. Draco kept up his attacks but Harry decided to throw caution to the wind and broke from his shield as arrows flew at him. Harry dodged to his right and ended up taking two of the arrows in in his left arm but was able to cast back at Draco. "Fulgur," the lightning spell burst out of Harry's wand with even more power than it usually would for another wizard, due to his relationship with lightning. Draco had to use his own shield spell but it wasn't strong enough to fully stop Harry's spell. The three bolts struck Draco in his left arm and two in his chest. He could feel the burns on his chest but luckily he didn't lose consciousness.

Harry pressed his advantage now. He sent three bone-breakers at his cousin who managed to dodge them all, but Harry pressed on without relent. He began a steady stream of charm based curses and kept Draco from using any of his more complicated spells. Harry stuck again, "Marcor Cutis." Draco was forced to shield the spell but he used a shield that only stopped magic. Harry followed it up with a silent ball-bearing hex. The four inch in diameter metal balls tore into Draco's wand arm. Draco yelled out in pain and dropped his wand. Harry summoned the wand quickly, ending the duel.

Healer Saxony rushed to Draco's aid and immediately gave him a potion for pain. Harry quickly moved to the other side of the pit and watched as the healer worked on Draco. Another healer grabbed onto Harry. Harry glared at the man and turned with both wands aimed at him.

"I need to heal your wounds," The healer spoke holding up his hands. Harry nodded curtly to the healer. The healer removed the arrows from his arm after casting a numbing charm on the areas. He then sealed the cuts for Harry. Harry gave the man a nod of thanks and went back to observing his cousin. Healer Saxony had once again proven his worth as he finished placing burn cream on Draco's lightning wounds. He then summoned a sling and wrapped Draco's wand arm in it.

"I want you to use the sling for the next few days," Healer Saxony said quietly to Draco helping him up. "I don't how but your burns from the lightning spell are already healing." Draco looked at Harry who gave him a small grin.

Draco held out his left hand for Harry to grasp. Harry had to switch his wands to his opposite hand so the shake wouldn't be awkward. "Next year, cuz," Draco said with a smile.

Harry gave a soft chuckle, "You can try." He broke the shake and pulled Draco into a one armed hug. He handed Draco his wand back. Draco took it and tucked it back into his wand holster. Draco then grabbed Harry's hand and held it up in triumph, earning a large grin from Harry as the school cheered him on. He looked to Sirius and his aunts and saw approving smiles on their faces. He nodded at them as they cheered both him and Draco.

"Durmstrang, I present to you, for the second time, our Dueling Champion of 1993, Harry Black-Potter!" Headmaster Hardrada announced clapping along with the board members. He was pleased and relieved to see Harry had bounced back from his kidnapping. While the boy wasn't his normal carefree self, and might never be again, he was enjoying his last week of school aptly.

"Come in Harry," Healer Saxony waived him in for his last session of the school year. The students would be leaving in a few hours. Harry came in and found a cup of tea already waiting for him. Harry gave his healer a smile, "Thank you, sir."

"Not a problem, it is rather calming is it not?" He asked.

Harry laughed a bit, "And you're not even British."

"What can I say? You're growing on me." Saxony said with a laugh of his own. "How was the party?" He said with a nod to the gold medal on his uniform.

"It was great." Harry said with a smile that faded somewhat.

"I sense a but?" The older man said with an encouraging smile.

"I jumped when one my exes touched me," Harry muttered.

"That's not entirely unexpected," Saxony said with a nod. He then added, "You jumped for the first week when anyone but your cousins touched you."

Harry laughed once, "I never thought I'd get a curse off against Professor Ironside."

Healer Saxony gave a huge belly laugh, "I don't think he expected it either." His laughter slowly died and he looked into Harry's eyes trying to get a read on the boy's emotions. "Does it bother you that you flinched at the touch?" There was silence following his question.

"Yes," Harry finally spoke. "I've been in fights with death eaters before. I never flinched at someone's touch after them."

"That may be," Healer Saxony said thoughtfully, "but you've never been kidnapped by death eaters before. Anyone would be jumpy afterwards." Harry nodded. "Harry do you do anything for fun besides Quidditch?" He asked.

Harry shrugged and thought about it for a minute, "I fly. I don't mean Quidditch." Harry cut in, "I mean just flying. It calms me."

Healer Saxony sat forward and rested his chin on his hand. "I would ask you to work on your Animagus form while on break, but I don't think it will take you long to master it. I imagine you'll find a large measure of peace while flying as hawk." Saxony gave him a grin. "I also want you to think on something." Harry gave him a questioning look. "Amortentia only works on a person that is already in love. It's what gives the potion its strength over other love potions. I would hazard to guess that if you find out who that third scent belongs to, you'll find even more peace."

Harry sat back in his chair and blew out a breath of air, "I didn't know that was how the potion worked."

"Probably because the only reason you study potions is to blow something up," Healer Saxony quipped.

Harry grinned at him and then frowned, "I can't for the life of me place the third scent. I know I've smelt it before I just don't know where."

"I'm sure you'll find out." He checked his watch. "Now I believe you need to get ready to go. And if you want to talk over the summer feel free to owl me."

Harry nodded and stood holding out his hand to the Healer. Healer Saxony took it and Harry spoke quietly, "Thank you sir."

"Anytime.

They had been home from school for nearly a week when the third mysterious scent greeted Harry's senses. He was over at Aunt Cissy's house since she refused to let him be alone yet. Whenever Sirius was at work Harry found himself at his cousins'. He didn't mind, as he'd found solace in his mother figure. His aunt and Draco were also assisting him with mastering his Animagus form. His progress was rather fast, and he was already able to grow his wings and beak. Draco on the other hand was slower in his progress, still trying to figure out what animal he was.

He was wandering on down to the kitchen for some food after practicing with Draco. He got to the swinging door when he smelled the aroma that had been haunting him all year. He paused outside the door and heard giggling. Breathing deeply, he committed the scent to memory before pushing open the door and was promptly floored in his tracks at the sight that greeted him in the kitchen. Sitting in the kitchen across from Saiph was her best friend, Fleur Delacour.

They looked at him strangely wondering what he was staring at. "Harry?" Saiph called out to him. "Problem?" She asked.

Harry was still silent as he shook his head in the negative. He gave his head one more shake, this time to regain his bearings. A small smile grew upon his face. It was his signature 'Potter grin', but Fleur noticed his eyes didn't hold their usual cockiness. He spoke smoothly, "I just realized that I'd never apologized to Fleur for giving her that stupid flower." He walked up to her and took her hand in his. He bowed his head and placed a kiss on her knuckles breathing in the scent of her perfume, the very scent he had been dreaming about. He pulled away and looked at her with genuine remorse, "I'm sorry."

Fleur pulled her hand out of his and nodded somewhat dumbly and confused. She looked at Saiph for help but her metamorphmagus friend was trying not to laugh. "Um," The French girl stuttered a bit, she didn't usually allow boys this close to her. "Merci."

Harry sensing her unease backed away from her. "I'll come back later," He excusing himself from the kitchen. He was still smiling at Fleur as he walked backwards out the door. He gave them one final nod before making his way out of the kitchen.

Fleur stared after him in confusion at his behavior. It was so unlike his usual cocky attitude, always trying to impress her when she was around. She looked to Saiph with confusion plain in her crystal blue eyes, "Did Harry have a lobotomy while at school?" She asked bit teasingly.

Saiph's laughing stopped and her smile faded as she looked out the kitchen window. Her hair went from blue to her natural black and Fleur knew she had struck an unintentional nerve. "I'm sorry," Fleur said quickly not wanting to offend her friend.

Saiph turned to her friend with a small smile. "Remember when I told you something happened at school?" Fleur nodded. "It's not my place to tell you everything but Harry ended up being kidnapped by a death eater posing as our Professor. Harry had gotten rather close to her over the year." Fleur gasped at her words.

"How did he get away?" Fleur asked almost slipping into French at her disbelief. She knew they had been attacked before, but they always seemed to shake those episodes off.

Saiph's short laugh surprised Fleur. "He's Harry. He usually finds a way to make the impossible possible."

Fleur just nodded at that having heard enough about Harry's escapades from Saiph, "So, tell me about you and Viktor?"

Fleur found Harry floating leisurely in the air on his brand new Firebolt. All the teams in the tournament had been given the new brooms to promote the line. It had been almost two months since Harry's surprising apology to her. Fleur had come and gone from Saiph's house in that time, slowly getting to know the male Black-Potter-Krum cousins, but Harry still seemed different to her. Last night Fleur had gone with Saiph and her family to watch the boys play a qualifying match against Serbia. The match had been one of the most fast paced she had ever watched, and she winced as she remembered the hit Harry had taken. A bludger had hit him in the chest, fracturing four ribs.

"Fleur!" Harry called from the air startling her out of her thoughts. She waved up to him. He righted himself on his broom and swooped down in front of her in an instant. She stepped back a little startled at the speed. "Fast isn't?" Harry said with one of the most carefree smiles she had ever seen on his face.

She smiled back at him, "Without a doubt." She laughed.

Harry's smile grew wider, "Want to give it a try?"

"I don't think your coach would like it if you lent me your broom," Fleur said with a worried look. "Hey!" She shouted as Harry grabbed her around the waist. She was broom before she realized it and sitting in front of Harry who took off into the air. Fleur screamed as he shot off into the air. He laughed and leveled out, "That was not funny!" She yelled at him.

"Oh come on you're a veela," Harry said laughing. "You can't tell me you don't like to fly."

"That's not the p-OOOOOIIINT!" She finished with a scream as he went into a dive. He took off into a loop-de-loop and then a figure eight before leveling out again.

"C'mon, admit it. That was fun." Harry said still laughing.

Fleur turned to back to see him laughing. It was the first time since the apology she had seen him look like his old self. She was beginning to realize it wasn't a bad thing. She had actually missed his attempts at flirting with her. "Fine - it's exhilarating." Fleur admitted happily, she was a veela after all. "I love flying," Fleur said as they drifted at a slower speed.

"It's where I feel the most at home," Harry said quietly. Fleur nodded, it was much the same for her. Harry smiled his Potter grin as Fleur looked back at him, "Sirius told me once that my dad used to take me up on his broom when I was a baby." He laughed. "According to Sirius, when my mum found out she cursed my dad into his Animagus form for a week. Then she bought me a toy broom."

Fleur laughed she could imagine her own mother doing something similar. "What was your dad's Animagus form?"

"He was a stag." Harry replied. "He and his friends learned how to transform in their fifth year to help my Uncle Remus out during the full moons." He explained.

"Your Uncle's a werewolf?" Fleur asked with genuine curiosity, rather than the horrified tone most people had.

"Yeah, Fenrir Greyback – you've heard of him, no?" he said, with pause, to which she simply nodded. "Yeah. The bastard turned him as a child," Harry explained. He had no problem discussing this with Fleur, given her veela heritage.

"It says a lot about their character that they were willing to do that." Fleur was surprised that two pure-bloods like Sirius Black and James Potter would go to such lengths.

"Thanks," Harry said. "Fleur can I ask you a favor?" She looked apprehensive but nodded. "Our next qualifying game is in Russia" he said, on a tangent. "We leave in three days, then we're back at school."

"Yes.. I know," She was a bit confused at where this was going.

"What I'm trying to ask you is," Harry paused, gathering his courage - hoping she wouldn't shoot him down, literally. "Can I write to you doing the school year?" It came out in a rush but Fleur caught it.

Fleur turned away from him with her back to his chest. She grinned to herself before schooling her features. She asked sternly, "Did you bring me up here just so I couldn't say no?"

"What! No!" Harry said nervously.

She turned back to him and smiled at him, "I would like that." She leaned forward and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Now can you please take me down?" She asked.

He smiled a goofy smile she hadn't seen before, "Sure." They landed just as Saiph, Viktor, and Draco came out onto the Krum Quidditch pitch.

"There you are," Saiph called to her and waved her over.

"Bye Harry," Fleur said before taking off at jog over to Saiph. The girls walked away, arm-in-arm.

Viktor and Draco shared a look before turning to Harry, "What was that about?" Draco asked. Harry just grinned and took off into the air.
