Tino's mouth was open. "So, that…that, thing used to be human?" His father nodded. "Yeah…and his father ruled all of town…and past that… he ruled all of Scandinavia. He had five sons, four of which left the castle as soon as they could. They became savage Vikings, ruling the sea, and terrorizing those who dared cross their path." "Wow..." Tino breathed. He was astonished.

"Well, the four sons soon returned, for their father, the ruler of Scandinavia, was very ill. He soon passed, and his throne was passed down to his eldest son, Berwald. Berwald was very persnickety, and not to mention stuck-up. Lots of jealousy was floating around him and his brother, Matthias." Tino's eyes widened. "Matthias? But he's so nice! That Berwald guy is some chump." He folded his arms and leaned back against the mossy wall.

"Yeah, well, once, Matthias took it too far, and tried to kill his own brother." Tino gasped. "Well, he was drunk on beer, and just wanted the crown for himself. Berwald was so enraged that he forced Matthias to become his servant. This is where the enchantress came in; she turned Berwald into a hideous beast, making him even more powerful. Now, that really mad Matthias mad. But, there was nothing he could do. So, he fought. And he fought hard. So hard in fact, that Berwald actually walked away with a broken jaw and black eye. Matthias however, had terribly lost this battle, and ended up half dead lying in the courtyard. Afterword, it's said that he crawled into a small cave and used different things that he found around, and painted a picture story of what had happened, to warn all who attempted to cross into castle property."

Tino had visions of the cave paintings he saw earlier. "So, what about the other son, who stayed home while the four were Vikings?" His father sighed. "Tino, let's talk about that later…it has been a long two days for me, and I just want to rest." It was about 5:00 now, and their stomachs were rumbling again, for bread and cheese was not enough to fill them. "Sure Papa, I'm awfully tired myself." The Finn yawned and stretched, after which he lay down and folded his hands over his stomach.

"I mean really Monsieur; dinner is a great way to introduce yourself."

The beast shook his head. "Nej, d'nner is outa th' qu'stion." Francis sighed. "At least let his father go, so he will be happy because he knows he will be safe…" The great creature twitched his furry nose and slowly nodded. "Let 'is f'ther go…"

Tino awoke to see his father being dragged away by Francis and some other guy, who was referred to as 'Arthur'. "Woah woah! Where are you taking him?!" Tino stood, but his size did not effect much. 'Arthur' turned to face the small boy, and Tino gasped. Oh my gosh, are those real? If so, I feel really bad for him! He had HUGE eyebrows. Like, HUGE, HUGE eyebrows. They took up like, his whole forehead. "What are you looking at you little twit?" Tino gulped. "I just want to know where your taking my father!" Francis laughed. "Oh, mon cher, we are taking him back to town." He smirked with an evil glint in his eye. "Do you want him to stay here? Or perhaps… you would like to take his place?" Tino's eyes widened. "NO! Please, take him! Let him free!" Both men nodded, and began to lug off Tino's last bit of hope. "TINO! PLEASE! TAKE MY PLACE! TAKE MY PLACE!"

The small Finn hung his head and cried. He was alone now. No friends, no companions, and no one to talk to, he was completely alone. As he sniffled and sobbed, he also heard the sound of the door opening. Small dainty footsteps made their way down the stairs to where Tino sat. "Hello?" A soft female voice came from across the room. "I know you're in here! Mathias told me all about it…I'm so sorry about your father…" Tino stood and began to approach the small figure in the opposite corner of the dungeon. "H-hello? Who are you?" a small giggle sounded in front of him. "My name is Elizaveta. I'm head maid. Oh, by the way, if you see a boasting silver-haired creep-WHO I DO NOT LIKE-please pay him no mind…he's a little…" She waved her fingers in front of her head. "Mental…if ya know what I mean…" The woman moved a little, and the little bit of light coming from the small window in the back of the room perfectly shined on her, almost like a spotlight.

She had long, wavy brown hair that cascaded over her shoulders creating a perfect shine when she was standing in the right place. Her eyes were an emerald green, and they portrayed confidence, with a hint of trouble. She wore a white dress with red and green trim, accented by a green apron with white and red trim. All together, Tino thought she was very pretty. Beautiful, even. But not to his fancy.

"So, Matthias said that Master was all worked up when you left. In a tizzy, you know? And he wants you to come to dinner tonight. Well, that's what Francis told me." She sounded disgusted when she spoke of the flouncy frenchman. "Dinner? With the beast? No thanks, I'm good…" Tino smiled at her and gazed at some suddenly very interesting moss on the wall. "Well, suit yourself, I mean, there would have been like, really good food, but, ya know, whatever you want to do…after all…you are our guest.
