The light green interior of the office space walls, caused a frown to pull at Dylan. Her hands were on her hips in a huff while Lettie set up their office in the back. "This place is a disaster!"

"Hello, the name is Kiana-" The green eyed female stopped speaking to search for a perfect last name. She had quietly approached the strawberry blonde, believing the other girl to be listening. Her mind went to the names on the list who'd been near to hiring at the company. "Wyatt."

Dylan blinked, jumping from the voice behind her. An uneasy smile formed on her face, whirling around to stick her hand out to shake the dark skinned beauty. "Kiana is a beautiful name!"

Kiana winced at the chipper tone the witch had towards her. She matched the hazel eyed female in unease. "Thank you...um, is-"

"I love what you've done with the place." Paige Matthews eagerly cut Kiana off, standing beside the girl. She was aware of the sneaky whitelighter among them. Her eyes were flashing too much excitement for the likes of Dylan.

"Yeah, we only were in need of a select few workers. Miss Wyatt is one of them." Dylan grinned, gesturing to the brunette next to Paige.

Colette reappeared, carrying a stack of books. "This place is awesome!"

Dylan rolled her eyes, unable to disagree further. Shrugging it off, she looked over her workers profiles once more. "We are missing-"

"Here, here!" A soft voice in the form of Erone interrupted Dylan. He had his hands, settled down onto Phoenix's shoulders, pushing the boy in sight. "We are your other two workers."

"Applicants!" Phoenix corrected in a hiss. He ripped himself away from the touch of his terrible blood relative. His blue eyes of sadness, locked with the warm green of Dylan.

Dylan took pity on the boy, shooting him a soft smile.

"This everybody?" Colette whispered to Dylan in question.

Dylan eagerly nodded her head in response. She clasped her sweaty hands together, surveying the group of familiar people.

"Well, everybody you will be working on a blog. The blog is up to write about mostly the natural wiccan ways. Dylan and I thought it would be special, beautiful, and wonderful." Colette was grinning from ear to ear with each word she spoke.

Paige wore a scowl. "Won't that expose-"

"Nonsense! It deals with natural witches like Colette previously stated." Dylan cut in, earning an impressed nod from the witch-whitelighter.

"Who's ready to type away here at Thornstone Catastrophe?" Colette rubbed her hands together, watching as everybody grew excited about their big day.

"It's been a day!" Colette shouted, slamming the beige door to the back office. She needed a moment of peace to gather her thoughts. She left Dylan alone to conclude the day.

"I bet." Cole was sitting in a black leather armchair behind a dark oak desk. He smiled up at his girlfriend, hoping she wouldn't chase him off. He stood, motioning for her to sit.

Colette slowly, reluctantly sat in the chair. She wore a stoic expression to show his presence didn't bother her. "Cole, I promise I'm not mad."

The former demon relaxed all too soon. He stood behind her, hoping his timing was perfect. He got down on one knee, taking one of her hands gently into his. A huge, goofy grin spread across his face. "Good. Colette Katie Redthorn, I love you with all my heart. I know we just met, but I know what love is. I'd die for you."

Colette's heartbeat gained speed, causing her eyes to widen a fraction. Her mind was screaming, "NO!" while her heart screamed the opposite. She nervously gulped, desperately needing some water. Suddenly, a glass appeared on the desk in front of the two.

"Cole, I don't understand." Colette said, gripping the cup of water in her hands. She usually didn't get anxious around guys, but the feeling of security, comfort, and peace was new. Most of the men didn't care too stay which she couldn't fathom.

Cole wore a grin to show all his pearly white teeth, revealing a small velvet red box in the palm of his hand. He inched it open, watching her stoic reaction turn to disbelief. "Be my wife? For, I will always cherish you."

"YES!" Dylan shouted, having walked in. She'd been silently watching the whole thing unravel. She turned pink once they shot her funny looks. "You have to, Lettie. You know you love him."

Colette wondered if her friend was aware of love or what it meant. Her eyes watered, but she debated the pros and cons in her head. "Well, you did help me in my time of drunkenness." She tapped the bottom of her chin, earning a defeated look from the dark haired male.

Colette quietly giggled at all the fond memories.

"So...?" Dylan gestured for her to give a further explanation. "Is that a yes, no, maybe?"

Colette threw herself into Cole, smiling. "Yes."

Dylan nodded her head, "Awesome sauce."

The two lightly kissed, leaving Dylan ecstatic with the decision. The three didn't know Phoenix had been around to witness the mess they made.

Phoenix considered their engagement to be a mess. Why? He held no love or compassion for the man who was never there for him. He'd get revenge on them all.
