I sat on the couch struggling with my math. I was ready to throw the homeschooling book across the room when Pyrus appeared and took it from my hands. "You know, if you'd just ask we could help you." he grinned. I stuck my tongue out at him and we did my math.
I loved being home schooled. It was a lot easier to understand what the heck I was studying. Plus, since school got done quicker I could enjoy more time with my friends. I smiled at my brother as we went over my times table again to prepare for a test. We had just made it to two hundred eighty-nine times four hundred fifty when my phone went off. "Hold that thought. Hello?"

Air flipped open her phone "Hello?...Oh, hey, Marcos... Raf? Not today, why?... HE WHAT! WHEN?... No we weren't suppose to meet until tonight... I'll ask." She placed her hand over the phone "Hey, Bee, have you heard from Raf today?" I looked over at the bot. Bee shook his head. "What's up?" I asked. Air went back to her phone "Bee hasn't seen him. I'm on my way over." she hung up "Raf didn't get home last night. I'm going to call him." she dialed the number and held the phone to her ear.

The boy's phone began to ring from the table next to my tools I put down my knife and wiped the blood from my hands before answering it "Raf? Thank the gods, you answered. Where the scrap are you? Your mom just called me saying you didn't go home last night." I chuckled "He didn't. I'm not Raf." there was a pause "Who is this? Where is my boyfriend?" I looked over at the boy, who was currently on ice. "Taking a bit of a nap. Can I take a message." I snickered. "You listen here, who ever you are. If you some much as scratch a skin flake on him your life is over." I laughed loudly stirring the boy to awareness "Ah, here he is now. Raf your girl called she wants to talk."
I turned on the speaker and pointed it at the horrified boy. "Raf, are thee there? Are't the harmed?" the boy croaked as I puzzled over what the girl had said. I didn't get it. "Trapped as a bird be mine soul, sweet Air. Tis only the pain of you not here that matches the pain of this bird." the girl was crying on the other end. I turned off the speaker and held the phone to my ear. Hope he got a good bye in there somewhere." the girl growled "A gift I give he from elements three. Thine decision is only for thee. Do you keep him or set that soul free? Only one has the answer, and that will be thee." the line went dead and the boy started to laugh. "Y-you're so screwed."
I threw away the phone and slashed my knife "Shut up!"
