"Welcome to my home". Peter announced as he opened the doors to his mansion.
There were several butlers awaiting command in the foyer as the vampires entered. "Please leave your luggage here. They will be brought to your rooms. Also True bloods are available for your loyal subjects in the dining hall". Peter directed.
Eric gestured for the vampires to follow the butler to the dining hall leaving the Northman clan and sheriffs behind.
"I have acquired donors especially for you and your regime". He told Eric.
"I respectfully decline. My tastes are exclusive. Pamela and Lex will not require donors as well". Eric informed Peter.
"Eric, I understand why you have declined but why deny your children"?
"Because and I quote "Feeding leads to sex and sex leads to babies. You, Lex Northman are not allowed to be a father until you are the same age your father was when he became a father" Lex offered.
"The joys of having a mother and not a maker". Peter teased.
"And I have been commanded to respect my brother's situation". Pam added.
"The gift that keeps on giving". Peter continued to tease.
"Tell us about it" Pam and Lex commented under their breath in unison.
Peter couldn't help but laugh as he redirected the group of vampires to the dining hall from the donor room.
"Do you really think it is smart idea to bring me back to the king's palace"? Sookie asked as they loaded into an SUV from the train station.
"Yes, there I will have the safety to regroup".
"From who? Anyone but Eric"?
"Northman isn't going to storm the palace. He would need the Authority's permission as well as an army. The army he could possibly pull off but the Authority is going to be a roadblock that even the great Eric Northman won't be able to get through".
"We shall see". Sookie taunted.
Peter opened the doors to the dining hall and directed everyone to sit. "Shall we begin since we will no longer have the distractions of donors"?
"Yes, let's begin". Eric answered.
"I understand that you have the layout of the compound as well as their security"?
"Yes, Bill has been able to acquire that for us".
"Excellent, email those to myself and to my sheriffs".
"They have been sent". Bill informed after his last keystroke.
"Shall we continue in the study after our meal"? Peter offered before he took a sip of his True Blood.
"Of course". Eric replied after his sip of true blood.
"Greetings Master Victor". A butler addressed him as he opened the car door.
"Take Mrs. Northman to her room". Victor commanded.
"At once sir".
Victor continued into the palace without a backwards glance. The butler offered Sookie his hand to help her out of the vehicle.
"Good evening Mrs. Northman".
"Good evening and thank you".
"My pleasure, your majesty".
Sookie remembered Celeste addressing her the same way and she turned out to be a loyal subject. Could this butler be one as well?
After retreating to the study, the two kings and the sheriffs began to plan their attack.
"We can enter in from the south entrance. The only security there is the fence after I disable the cameras." Bill pointed out on the map.
"What security does the fence have"? Peter asked.
"Silver barbwire" Bill answered gravely.
"I can see why that is the only security. Even if we cover our skin from head to toe the barbwire can cut our clothing".
"Lucky for us we have a few vampires with the gift of flight". Eric smiled wide. "They can fly over the fence and find a way to get the rest of the troops in through another entrance".
"Who are these gifted soldiers"? Peter asked astonished.
"Myself as well as my children" Eric answered smug.
"Does Sookie know you are cheating on her with Lady Luck"?
"Sometimes I think that Sookie is Lady Luck when she isn't being a danger magnet". Eric laughed softly.
The two kings looked at every angle to plan the perfect entrance for the rest of the troops to enter from once the Northmans have gained entrance. They finally came to an agreement shortly before dawn.
"Now that everything has been addressed, we should go to ground". Peter announced.
"Agreed, I am truly grateful to you, Peter". Eric replied.
"Think nothing of it. I would say one day you could return the favor but a queen seems more trouble than she is worth". Peter smiled.
"Sookie is worth every bit of trouble she brings".
