Chapter 11 the turning point
Hey I know it's been a while since I last wrote and I know that it doesn't matter much what I say to excuse me from it but I am writing another story one for this place and another one I hope to turn into a book. So hope you enjoy. No flame is not helping me on this, I wish she was. So I don't own Perry Jackson.
"Percy!" Annabeth yelled as she ran over to him.
Percy was lying on the ground with a white arrow sticking out of his chest. Tyr rushed over to him.
"What is this?" Tyr asked Dye. Dye simple walked over his eyes starting to darken as he felt his rage build up inside.
"It's an arrow, used by his kind to start a war. It's their sign that says you have till the arrow dissolves way to be ready for a war or surrender." Annabeth reached up and grabbed the shaft of the arrow and started to pull up. Dyes hand flashed around her wrist, stopping her from moving.
"What are you doing we have to get it out of him." Annabeth shouted.
"If you pull on it, it will kill him and bring them right back down here." Dye said with a warning tone.
"Fine let them come; we will fight them, just as we have fought the titans."
"They are nothing like your little titans, that you have fought. He and his kind don't come from this world. Even Tyr and I come from another place."
"Then tell us where do you come from?" Clarissa said staggering over. She seemed to have taken a lot of damage in this fight. She had a cut under her left eye, she had an arm around another campers neck for support, and her other arm was on her left side as if she was holding the pain back. Dye had to give it to this little fighter for being able to hold up, even with all the blood that she was losing from cut that the others could not see.
"Fine I will, but first bring all those who are wounded to the med center now, including you and Percy." Dye said looking at Clarissa.
She looked him in the eyes and knew this was not the time to try and fight the orders. They seemed to come with more compassion then with anger. "You heard the beast, do it now!" she yelled, all the others started to rush them to the med center.
"Tyr, I need you to do something for me." Dye said looking over the other campers as they rushed around.
"What is it Dye?" Tyr said walking over to his father.
"I know I was never the best person for you to go to, but now I am asking you to do me a favor."
"What?"
"Go to the Library, and bring me the silver ring. After you get it back to me I want you to leave here and lock this world off." Dye said looking over at Tyr, his eyes turning a dark kind of red.
"What will that do?" Tyr asked.
"It will stop the others from coming here and stopping me from doing what I must.
"And what is that you must do?" Tyr said knowing full well what he intended to do
"Eat my brother." Dye said walking away without another word.
Zosime
As soon as we landed I spun around and kick at his face. The man who grabbed me simple stopped my kick with his hand. Picking me up with the one hand he throws me into the wall. As my back hit the wall I could hear it braking and caving in. I slid to the floor.
"What do you want with me?" I asked looking at the younger twin brother. How is it that they are twins and yet Dye had a more handsome face?
"Oh it's not what I want with you it's what you are good for. You see I have been looking for my brother for so long that I have to have some fun." Zaps said as two young girls walked over to him. They wrapped their arms around his waist; he in return wrapped his arms around their necks, showing that he was at least another two feet taller than them.
"I am not going to fall for your sweet words. Dye will come for me. He will kill all those that I have left behind." I said slowly getting back to my feet.
"Are you sure that's what you want to do, I mean I can make you one of us, or at least something like us." Zaps said as he let go of the two girls and stalked over to me. He leaned forward and grabbed my chin. He flashed a bright smile showing off his fangs. He started to move slowly closer to my neck as he turned my face. I could feel his breath on my skin.
Back at the camp
"Are all those who are hurt in the med center?" Dye said almost as if it was a distant thought.
"Yes Dye everyone who was hurt in the fight is in the center, and all those with minor injuries are in there as well just as you asked." The young girl said she was among the few that did not get into the fight.
"Good." Dye said, as he stepped forward, his shirt vanishing. Dye started to say something in another language that no one understood. As Dye kept muttering the words, his body started to shine in letterings that none of them have seen before. Dye then started to write on the air and the letters started to fly over the med center, shining it in a bright red and green light.
Inside the med center: Clarissa
"What is this strange light show?" I asked to no one. A slight burning happened over my body. It was as if someone was rubbing all over me. I looked down at some of my cuts and scrapes. They are closing and healing on their own. I look around at some of the other campers as their wounds and even more so their clothes are being fixed. We all little by little stated to look like we just stepped out of the shower of Apollo. What is happening?
Back out side
"That should do it." Dye said flashing a new shirt on, walking outside to meet the faces of the newly healed campers. "How do you feel?" Dye said to Clarissa as she walked out still in amazement.
"How did you do it?" Clarissa asked.
"I just used a couple healing runes I know to speed up your healing." Dye said as if it was just another thing that they should have known. "Bring every one over to the main Camp fire. We are going to come up with a battle plan."
"Are you going to tell us who you really are, or is that just not important to what is going on?" Annabeth said walking over to them. "If you're so powerful then why can't you heal Percy?" she asked with tears in her eyes.
"Stop and answer this book worm. What are you willing to give up for him to be healed? I know of a way to do it, but what are you going to give up?" Dye said without looking at her.
"I am willing to pay anything for him." Annabeth said.
"Tell me this, is he your Romeo?" Dye asked turning around looking at her
"What do you mean?"
"Are you willing to die for him?"
She stopped and thought about it. Was she really willing to die for Percy, the man she loved? They have fought together in the war and in other battles. "Yes I am willing to die for him." She said loudly.
"Then go lay in the ground, that's the wrong answer." Dye said turning around walking way. Clarissa ran to catch up with him.
"What was the right answer?" Clarissa asked.
"Have you ever read Romeo and Juliet?" Dye asked not stopping his walk.
"Well no but we all know it was a love story." She replied.
"Yes and no, it was about a 13 year old falling in lust with a 17 year old because daddy didn't like him. It lasted 3 days and ended in 6 people dead. 2 of those 6 were Romeo and Juliet." Dye said this time stopping and looking at the shocked girl.
"So, that just means that they are willing to die for each other, out of love."
"No it showed that they are willing to die then deal with the crimes of what this action meant. It was not about love it was about lust. A true love is something more like Gomez and Morticia. The two characters were undead lover that spent every day wanting the other to feel alive and love that is the right answer. She is willing to die for him and him the same, but are they willing to live for each other?" Dye said walking away.
Clarissa stared at Dye as he walked away. "What has happen to you to believe in living for another person?" she asked to herself.
"Please be alive my dear, please. I will save you." Dye said as his eyes darken to a bloody black.
It was a little past noon when all the campers were finale around the camp fire pit.
"I know that you all have question, and I know you wall want to know something, so here and now is the only time I will answer any questions you have to ask." Dye said while sitting on his chair near the fire.
"What where those thing that attacked us?" An Aries boy yelled.
"Those are beta vampire angels or as I call them trash." Dye said.
"Who is there leader and how do you know him?" An Apollo kid said.
"Their leader is named Zaps, and he is my brother."
"Is he also a lord of hunger?" another kid yelled.
"No he is not; he is a lord of light."
"Then he is a good guy, why did he attack us then?" a girl yelled out.
"when I say he is a lord of light, I mean… sigh… look my brother is as good as they come, but to him if there is a chance that you can be bad, evil, or just not a goody two shoes, he will kill you. If you are not of use, then you die. He has been trying to kill me for some time on many worlds."
"What do you mean other worlds?" Annabeth asked.
"Your world is not alone out there in existence. There are many other worlds. I come from one that was at the center of three white giant suns." Dye said looking at the kids.
"How do we kill them or at least put up a fight?" Clarissa asked stepping forward with a spear in hand.
"Well depends on the ones your fighting. There are the Reds, the Blues, Whites and then his own guards the Grays. That's the order in weakest to strongest." Dye said leaning back in his chair.
"Ok then how do we kill a Red.?" Percy said limping over with Grover by his side.
"Well most things die without their heads, and if it doesn't then run like hell. To kill a red, simple is to take off their heads. Truly it's the same for the others, save for grays. Blues have more broad armor, like that of a muscle bound man in armor. Whites, they look more like samurais in the way they wear their armor. The grays have their armor, it may not look like much but it is pure gold mixed with diamonds, however Iris wasn't wearing hers so that must mean that they didn't know how strong you all were. They will not make the same mistake again." Dye said looking up at the sky. Just then he saw something in the clouds. He started laughing.
"What's so funny?" Travis asked.
"I just remembered that with Zosime there I can have a look around there as well." Dye jumped up and walked over to the fields where they play volleyball. "Well I am going to call down your parents so everyone should take a step back." Dye said moving his hands out for more space. Just then something fell out of the sky, a small metal object. "Hey how are you doing scout?" dye said as he grabbed the metal object and slipped it on his right index finger. It was a ring.
"What are you doing dye you know this is not our fight, and if you push this too far you know what will happen." Scout said inside of Dyes head.
"That's true that it could happen but you know I can't let them have her."
"Wait they have Zosime? How did they get her on your watch?" he yelled.
"Now is not the time for this, we have guests coming." Dye said as he pushed out some more runes that flew out into the sky, then came smashing into the ground.
Just as the letter smashed into the ground, the sky over head started to darken and a bolt smacked one of the marks on the ground. Blood started to boil up from another, as flowers from another mark. Moon light shined onto another, where as sun light burned another one. A fire started to burn on another one and grape vines off of another one. Feathers and pages spun around another one where as the next one turned almost into a reflective surface.
Water bubbled up from another one as bones came up from the ground around another mark. Stones started to build up around another and a slow fire started to burn inside. The last mark started to grow wheat around it. Out of all of the different marks stepped out people, men and woman. Not just any men and women, but the gods and goddess, the parents of all the campers.
"DYE WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?" Zeus yelled like thunder, sending most of the camper ducking for cover. "DO YOU KNOW THAT IT IS AGAINST THE RULES FOR US TO BE HERE?"
"Ok first, I know we are outside but please use your big boy voice, and shut the fuck up loud mouth. I don't give a damn about your stupid rule. By the look of it neither do you?" Dye said looking over at Percy. "I called you all down here to give you a heads up on what is coming. Zaps is here, and he means to start a war. This is what I wanted to tell you, I am taking your children under my care and will train them my way and will not take any crap from any of you. If you have a problem with how I am doing things then I would say take your kids out of here now or stay and help me." Dye said taking a step back.
The beings look at each other and started talking to each other in low tones, so none of the campers could hear them.
"Fine then Dye they are yours to train. But do not take this lightly, we will be watching. Do you hear me boy." Hera said as she came closer to Dye.
This angered Dye, in a split second Dye flashed into his true form. His skin turning to an ash color, his eyes darkening like black pools in a void. His fangs growing out to their normal length of 4in, his clothing burned till it turned into his black sun armor. Dye grows to his normal height of 8ft tall, towering over this little girl in front of him. "Now hear me, you sorry excuse for a pantheon, none of you scare me, in fact I can and will kill you all if you stand in my way. I would burn this whole world and no one would care. If you ever talk to me like that again, you better be nicer. Or I will do it. Do I make myself clear?" Dye said his voice a lower tone than a full growl. None of the gods answered, the look was more then all he needed. Seeing as his message got across, he turned back to his more human form. "Good I am glad to know that we all see on the same page here. Now then, I have a job for most of you the others will be doing something else."
"What would you have us do?" Ares stepped forward, spear in hand. Like father like daughter.
"We will be splitting into three teams here. Team one will be Ares, Hephaestus, Artemis, and I. We will be here training the kids for the war to come. The next team will be Athena, Here, Hades. They will be the ones to come up with the plan of attack. The rest will be the front wave to hit Zaps. If he thinks that you are fighting him because he is here, one of two things will happen. One he will talk his way out of fighting you, or two he will send out his angels to kill you."
"Why am I not on the attacking team?" Ares asked, looking like a child who saw a toy and was told he couldn't play with it.
"One, they wouldn't be affected by your aura. Two, you made the Spartans what they where I need you to do it again here, with them. Third, is well it's been my dream to fight a god of war. But never mind any of that let us just move on. You have your jobs, now go do them."
"Dye do not take our sudden interest in helping you as fear of you, we will "talk" once this is all said and done." Zeus said has he and his team shined out of the area.
"Don't take his words lightly either, child, father can be a bit harsh, but he means well." Athena said has they left as well.
"all a bunch of talk. When do we get to put things on spears?" Ares asked as he looked over the campers.
"soon my dear war, soon. But first we must show these kids what it means to strike fear, panic, and contempt into the hearts of those who walk in the path that we have laid forth." Dye said as he walked to go stand in front of the campers.
"Pleases be safe my dear Zosime. I will come for you. Just you wait."
"Do not fear children this is nothing more than a turning point. A turning point for this war and fighting to come to an end. So let us begin."
