Chapter 11:

A/N. Sorry everyone about the long break from writing, I can't even say I was busy I just couldn't write and no not from lack of inspiration; from having false nails.

I've noticed a few mistakes when reading over the previous chapter and I seriously feel stupid. It's just a few words and I've fixed them up now (but will not be uploaded until the end of the story, sorry). Well without any further apologies here is the 11th chapter of Got to find her. Read review and all that jazz. (Note: the Wong house that I'm referring to in this story is not the original one in the manga because it was damaged badly in the fight with Auka. This is another of the family houses.)

Disclaimer: don't own but if I did…

Sitting there the swing swaying, Yukari felt a pull. Not a pull forwards but back. Breaking eye contact Yukari shifted back on the seat, taking a deep breath she spoke.

"I thought we were talking about my childhood now." She said smiling sweetly at Fang-Fang. Letting out a gush of air he motioned for her to continue. There would come a day when his hearts question was answered, it just didn't seem to be today.

With his nod she started, "My home town was always in a perpetual state of autumn, the leaves and the weather in that in-between stage of cold and warm. My house was located at the top a hill outside the village itself and I never really had very many friends because my parents were very self-sufficient so I didn't get to go into town much. It was like that till I turned six, which was the year I started my true magic training and I was enrolled in a charm school.

Quite literally of course, I would depart each morning for the school and spend my days learning. Though I had already learned some things from my mother, and I flew through the classes having so little difficulty that they put me up two years. The teachers said I was a prodigy, but the students called me a freak, a know-it-all and all manner of other things that I have forgotten.

Do you know what it feels like to have people just like you; the people that humans call monsters refer to you like that? Say you're a freak and avoid you as you try to befriend them?" Yukari yelled, tears cascading out and over her face, and dripping to her lap. Her voice cracking and pitching so high that he couldn't hear it. "I became even more lonely, hiding behind the mask of a genius trickster who acted as if they were superior. That's the person I had been until coming to Yokai Academy and having our group become my friends." Now hunched over in the swing one arm wrapped listlessly around the rope.

Reaching for her shoulder Fang-Fang guided his date into his arms. Yukari wrapped herself more firmly around him, tucking her face into his shoulder and crying as great sobs raked her body.

"Yukari, I never knew you then, I hadn't met the trickster Yukari, I met a girl who loved her friends and would protect them no-matter what, a girl that is smart and beautiful with a twisted sense of humor and a caring heart and I fell for her." He said speaking softly only loud enough to hear.

"But I've not always been who I am now or who I was before or even before that!" she cried, her head now resting on his chest as she screamed out.

"No you are all you ever were, are and will be, and I want to love her so utterly. I crave to know all of her and she me, so that we can never be alone again. I love that girl, the women the girl all that she is." Letting the total cavern that was his feelings for her out. "And there is only one thing I want from her, and that is to see the tears that torment to stop." His hands gently cradled her jaw drawing her gaze towards him.

Yukari's tears had not yet stopped but the flow had lessoned. Her eyes where red and puffy the tear streaks running down her cheeks stained black with mascara and eyeliner, but her large amethyst eyes where calming. The only tremors left where that of Yukari catching her breath and that of hiccups.

Leaning forwards he placed his forehead against hers and patting her hair as he closed his eyes and just sat there with her.

Yukari long since passed out and Fang-Fang called for a car. Their date had not gone to plan at all and while not the worst he had imagined shit had still undeniably hit the fan.

The drive back to the house was smooth and silent only interrupted by the honking of cars in the traffic. This early in the evening the streets where filled to the brim, people whizzing about from place to place getting on with their lives.

His life was progressing too, although it didn't seem like it there where changes being made, he was becoming a stronger person, but not a different person. And he would stay himself forever, the person she had helped him become. Yukari was the one part of his life that he wished would change. Not her but his status and role in her life, that is what he wished to change.

As the car pulled to a stop the driver got out to open their door. "I will take the Miss for you young master." He said in Chinese, shaking his head Fang-Fang got out of the car with her in his arms nestled bridle style as he carried her to her room.

Placing her over her covers he moved to remove her shoes and pulled covers over her, whispering a sweet goodnight as he kissed her forehead.

Closing the door behind him Fang-Fang face-palmed, "That could've gone better." He said to himself, pressing his back against the door.

"But not much worse and sensing." Turning towards he voice Fang-Fang saw his father walking this way. Smiling wryly he countered, "is that your magical sensing or the sensing phone call you got from the Miu family?"

"Both." He replied smiling himself at his son having called him out.

Turning Fang-Fang walked away with his father the saying nothing in particular just enjoying the silence.

(A/N. ok going to do a pov)

Yukari's pov-

Back inside her room Yukari started to stir, her eyes batting open only for her to see darkness.

Feeling the darkness recede I could make out the edges of furnishings and large oddly shaped shadows in the room. Turning on the lamp with a quick clap, the room was instantly brighter, though thankfully not intensely so.

The room I was sitting in was my own with everything as it was only a few hours ago. Now possessing the gift of sight I noticed my blankets bundled up at my waist. Smiling absently for the person who put her there, it had to be Fang-Fang. Thinking back over their day together she laughed. He had told so many things about himself and it had been going well, until he asked me about mine. I thought I had put that stuff behind me, but I guess not everything can be erased like chalk with a duster.

I even tried to steer him away from the topic and it worked… just not for long and the reason it didn't work was because of her own self.

She had spilled nearly everything she kept hidden to him today, and I was so surprised by his actions to my secret and my breakdown.

He just sat there whispering the exact words I needed. He let me cry like a child; with no ridicule or disgust, as I wept great flooding tears along his shirt. It had lasted forever in he eyes and the rivers of her tears dried up, she had fallen asleep like that.

Really shot chapter I know but it was an in between chapter. Sorry for the long wait, all those that read the A/N. at the beginning of the chapter now why and yeah I know baka reason but of well. Thanks for reading and please fav, follow and review. P.S. I will be getting the nails off tomorrow so the next chapter will be out in no time.
