Caroline woke up with a start. She was in a new room. Was she on a bed?

Looking around, Caroline realized she was in a dorm like room. How did she know? There was one other bed and a desk and closet to go with each bed.

An air horn blasted on speakers by her bed, so lout, Caroline couldn't think straight.

"Good morning Caroline!" Marcel's cheery voice boomed over the speakers. "Today is your first day of classes. Your uniform is in the closet with your name on it. I hope you like it, 'cause I helped pick it out myself."

Caroline walked over and opened the closet.

'Fantasize much?' Caroline thought to herself.

It was a white blouse, mini skirt, and a matching black bra and thong.

Looking around the room, Caroline finally noticed the web camera on the wall. Taking the blouse, she covered the camera just so she could change her undergarments in some privacy. Once that was changed, Caroline put on the mini skirt and grabbed the blouse to put on. Caroline really wished she could choose rags over this "uniform". The skirt barely covered her butt, and the blouse was a crop-top not leaving any doubt that she was wearing a black bra.

"This is ridiculous." Caroline mumbled to herself.

Metallic scream music blasted so loud, Caroline thought her ears would begin to bleed. When the music finally stopped, Caroline growled before yelling, "What?" to the camera.

"You're going to be late to class, you getter hurry." Marcel teased over the speakers.

Caroline walked towards the only door, not sure where to go after that.

Apparently it didn't matter much because a trap door opened from under her, and Caroline didn't have enough time to react.

Caroline finally landed with a sickening crunch of both her legs breaking, possibly shattering. Then something bit her on the neck, and it burned. Pulling it away, Caroline realized it was a vervain dart. "I really hate these."

Caroline tried to push herself towards some wall so she could tend to her legs, but before she could get very far, she heard giggling.

Caroline turned, and her wish to be able to walk and run had never been greater, but her damn legs!

"Come on Caroline, let's play a bit before we start class." Helen came out of the shadows wearing nothing but a sheer dress that was only a few layers thick. , so it was still see through in the light.

Caroline desperately tried to remember what Sam had taught her, focusing on her legs.

"Come on Caroline, lets play fashion show." Helen teased. Caroline had no idea why Helen was so happy, and she didn't want to find out anytime soon.

"Fine," Helen pouted, "you don't want to play? Then we'll just go straight to work."

Caroline heard herself scream out as blackness took her and a happy memory was turned dark.

Caroline felt incredibly stiff when she woke up.

Helen had gone deep into her memory, replaying her 6th birthday party, turning the princess theme to poison apples. Helen had also replayed the day her father had left her and her mom over and over again. Making it slowly worse every time.

As she came to, Caroline felt a pain in her right hand.

"W-What?" Caroline mumbled, slowly opening her eyes to see Tommy.

Tommy!

Caroline was horror struck as she realized that Tommy had already skinned her right arm from her elbow, and was almost done all the way to her fingertips. Never ripping the skin so that it looked like a glove.

"NO!" Caroline screamed, struggling to get away.

Tommy just reached behind himself and stabbed Caroline in the neck with something.

"There," Tommy grunted, "That should shut you up for a while." He smiled up at Caroline. "Vervain to the voice box. Hurts like a bitch hugh girl."

Going back to his work, Caroline winced with every stroke of Tommy's blade. She really thought she would lose it when she heard the slop of her skin hitting the cement floor.

"There," Tommy grinned, putting his blade down, picking up the skin. "Perfect. Absolutely perfect. A glove of skin. No rips, stains, or scratches." He held it up for Caroline to see. "Do you think Marcel will approve?"

Caroline felt her eyes water up, not of sadness, she was well beyond that, but of anger and pure rage. She was shaking in her seat when a door burst open.

"Tommy." A familiar woman's voice called out.

It was the woman who had picked her up from the dark room where Marcel had held her for auditions.

"Hello Ms. Sue." Tommy put the skin away and started cleaning his hands and blade of blood. "What can I do for you this afternoon?"

"Oh, you could do many things for me Tommy," Caroline saw Tommy smirk, "But what you could do for me now is leave Caroline and I alone for a moment please."

"Oh, but Ms. Sue, you know I can't do that. Class is still in session." Tommy chuckled just finishing cleaning his blade.

"Tommy," the voice was stern. Caroline heard the tearing of flesh as Tommy went stiff. She was holding his heard, Caroline realized. A head of a woman came to briefly whisper into tommy's ear, "Leave."

Tommy unstiffened as this Ms. Sue released his heart. He slowly stood, looking Ms. Sue directly in the eyes.

"A woman after my own heart. Maybe I should protect it better."

"You can try."

Tommy reached down and grabbed his bag before walking away.

"Tommy," Ms. Sue said.

Tommy froze stiff, obviously mad, and walked back to Ms. Sue.

"Yes Ms.?" Tommy said through gritted teeth.

"First of all, it is Ms. Sue Tommy, never Ms." Ms. Sue stated as she began to wipe the blood on her hand onto Tommy's clothes. "You really must be careful in your work though. Who knows what could go wrong?" Smiling at him, Ms. Sue continued, "Marcel would like to see you too. Something about a schedule change." She tapped his face, "You are dismissed."

Tommy stiffly bowed to Ms. Sue and walked away, closing the door Ms. Sue had come through.

As soon as the door closed, Ms. Sue faced Caroline. "Sit up Caroline. It's un-lady like to slouch."

Caroline leans on her left arm to push herself up into an upright sitting position because she doesn't want her heart grabbed at. There was something about this woman that Caroline was afraid of, but trusted as well.

"Good. My name is Ms. Sue. I will be your mistress. I will teach you how to walk, talk, act and dress like a proper lady, while also teaching you life skills to control yourself and propel yourself through life. We will learn art, dance, the martial arts, history, sociology, law, chemistry, biology, and anatomy. We will go fast, and if you fall behind, I will show no mercy and it will be your job to catch up. You will address me as Ms. Sue and I will address you as Ms. Forbes. From here on you will address everyone by Ms., Mrs., or Mr. You will never slouch, and you will never speak in profanity while in public. You will not cry, but hold yourself with pride, and do things quietly. You will be tested as we continue to study together and we may-"

"Who are you and-" Caroline started to say, but stopped immediately as she was sprayed with vervain water. 'This wasn't the same lady who rescued her and carried her so gently,' Caroline thought to herself, 'This woman is another hired teacher of Marcels.'

"You will not interrupt me, and I will not interrupt you." Ms. Sue corrected as she put the bottle of vervain water down, leaning in closely to Caroline to whisper in her ear. "Now, Ms. Caroline, do you remember what you learned from Sam?"

Caroline looked up at this Ms. Sue, somewhat shocked, and nodded.

"Good, now do it." Ms. Sue ordered, putting her hands on either side of Caroline's head.

Caroline focused on healing her legs, which were still shattered, knowing that she would be useless without the ability to walk. It took some time, and a lot of Caroline's energy to heal them properly, but it was done. Caroline's arm was still skinned and she knew she didn't have the energy or enough blood in her system to finish healing.

"Alright Ms. Caroline, please stand and curtsey to me."

Caroline immediately stood up and before she could even begin to bow to Ms. Sue, Ms. Sue hit her with a ruler. "No, no, no!" Ms. Sue tisked, "You're doing it wrong. You are supposed to slowly lift yourself with your legs and core, as if a string is pulling you up, and you are floating on a cloud. I thought you were Miss. Mystic Falls."

"I am!" Caroline exclaimed.

"We do not raise our voice Ms. Caroline when addressing one obviously above ones own class."

Caroline grunted to herself and sat back down in the chair and slowly raised herself from the chair.

"Oh my," Ms. Sue sighed, "This is going to take longer than I had predicted."

Caroline was finally allowed to go back to her room. Ms. Sue had given her a white 12-button glove to cover her skinned right art. She has also given Caroline six one thousand paged books on the history of the world, each covering one of the six continents of the world. All had to be read by tomorrow. It was going to be a long night.

As Caroline opened her door, she realized that the other bed in her room was now occupied. When she saw who it was, Caroline almost dropped her books.

"No way."

Hayley, Tyler's traitor werewolf friend was sitting on the bed, chained to the wall behind her.

"Hey," Hayley mumbled.

Caroline was speechless, but only for a moment, "What are you doing here?"

"I have no idea. I'm supposed to be in New York."

Caroline just didn't know what to think anymore, so she just walked over to her desk, plopped the books down, and started reading about the history of North America.

About halfway through though, as she was reading about the Aztecs, Caroline looked over at Hayley and realized that she had fallen asleep. As Caroline finished the North American history, and moved onto South America, she heard Hayley wake up. Soon enough though, Hayley started clicking her nails together, obviously trying to make a beat and miserably failing.

"Please stop." Caroline finally said after about twenty minutes of the nail clicking.

"What?" Hayley pouted, "I'm just as bored here as you are."

"No," Caroline corrected, starting to get annoyed fast, "I'm actually studying. You are bored." Caroline glanced around the room. "Here," she tossed her History of North America in Hayley's general direction, "you might learn something."

"I hate history." Hayley complained, "Do you have anything else over there?"

"No, and I need these books to study."

"What you can't share?"

Caroline was so close to yelling, but all the lessons today from Ms. Sue about raising ones voice to someone unless you are without a doubt, above their class, whatever that meant. So she settled for marking her page, slamming the book closed, and turning to face the pain that was apparently now her roommate. "Look, I'm taking classes here and need to read all these books, and memorize their facts by tomorrow. I read fast, you obviously never even finished high school and therefore must read painfully slow. You get to start with North American history. Now please, be quiet and shut up."

Caroline turned and opened her desk drawer. There was a pad of paper and a pen in it. She quickly went over to Hayley's desk and opened the drawer to see that she had the same thing.

"Hey!" Hayley exclaimed.

Caroline just ignored her and grabbed the paper and pen, and actually handed her them.

"Here, if you get really bored. Write."

Hayley, who had been curled up under her blanket from her nap, finally let go of the blanket and took the paper and pen from Caroline. It was then that Caroline saw the bump in her stomach.

"You're, you're pregnant." Caroline whispered.

"Yeah, about twenty weeks along according to one doctor."

This was going to be awkward.

"That's cool." Caroline sighed. "Is it Tyler's?" She had suspected of him cheating on her when he was away, but she never suspected that she would see anything come out of it. He was half vampire now. Shouldn't the biological part of his body be dead?

"No, it's Klaus'."

That really caught Caroline off guard. Klaus? Of all people, Klaus had slept with her. The girl who had led him to kill almost all of his hybrids.

"Um, how? I thought vampires couldn't have kids."

"Well apparently a hybrid can because they're half werewolf."

Caroline wished she could go somewhere to try to comprehend all this information, but she couldn't. She was stuck in a room with a pregnant Hayley.

"Oh man." Caroline sighed as she walked back to her desk to continue reading. Her life couldn't make any less sense.

Please review and tell me what you like. That would be a great help in inspiring me and just for the record, I don't like Hayley very much so no need to worry. She won't be around for long, or will she? ;)
