Deny Me - KiKasa
"Good job today Senpai!" Kise beamed.
"Thanks." Was all Kasamatsu said as he started to put the gym equipment away.
"Do you need help?" Kise offered trying to take the heavier bag of cones that were used for the earlier foot work drills.
"I got it." Kasamatsu said. "You should go shower and change."
"I want to help." Kise purposely let his hands rest over Kasamatsu's.
"Go, before I kick you!"
Kise did as he was told. He wonders if Senpai is a block head like everyone says, or was he just denying all of his advances on purpose. Just the other day when he asked to spend the weekend with him he was told no, just to find out that Kasamatsu had spent it with Kobori and Moriyama.
He tried hard to show that he himself was available and that he was interested, but Kasamatsu ignored him. Yet, despite all this Ryota kept trying. He really liked Kasamatsu.
Even though their first meeting hadn't been the best, he slowly found himself able to think of nothing but his senpai. He worked to please him and a kind of sort of friendship grew from his efforts, but Kasamatsu was being reluctant in taking the next step.
It didn't help that the first few time Kise had asked for some of his time he found himself speechless when he was faced with those eye, and his face not being twisted in a scowl. He actually smiled at him for two seconds, before he pat Kise on the head and told him that he could tell him when he was ready.
"Senpai!" Kise managed to catch up to him before he left the building. "Are you sure you're busy this week?"
"Positive. I have things I have to do."
"Senpai…"
"Yes?"
"Do you not want to hang out with me."
"I never said that."
"It's heavily implied."
"We're friends right?" Kasamatsu spared him a glance.
"Yes, but I want to be more than friends." Kise was surprised that the words managed to escape his mouths.
Kasamatsu chuckled. Kise wasn't sure if that was a bad thing or not. He finally confessed and this was the reaction he got?!
"I think Moriyama would fight you for the best friend spot." He smiled. "I have to go this way. See you tomorrow at practice!"
And then he was gone and walking down the street.
Kise felt like crying. Seriously breaking down, as he watched his Yukio's back retreating quiet quickly. Maybe he was trying to find a polite way to turn him down, or maybe he really just didn't get what he was trying to say.
Either way he felt a sob break and tumble it's way past his trembling lips. He wiped his eye repeatedly trying to see past the tears. He had to be at work soon and he couldn't show up with red eyes.
I'm so sorry Kise *cried with him*
Is Kasamatsu being a block head or out right denying him? Is for you to decide.
