The two boys charged down the corridors, General Gold hopping back to create some type of fighting distance between them. His booted paws bounced off the carpet as he gripped his katana. The people inside the booths, the one Tamoe and Roshi were protecting, scrambled to their feet, all pressing their heads out the doorway. Jeana was in front, with her mother and father.

"Tamoe's brave." Mrs. Brief noted, the brunette watching her son charge a General of a twisted militia.

"He probably got it from Bruce." Jeana said, looking on.

Mr. Brief stayed quiet, a stern look on his face.

Roshi used his ki to fly forward, swinging his sword at the General. The canine quickly brought his blade up, the two steels clashing and ringing through the hallway. Tamoe slid past the two swords, coming in from the side and kicking General Gold in the lower back. He coughed in shock, the push on his sword weakening and allowing Roshi to overpower him.

The short sword pushed forward past the katana but the General spun around it, bringing the hilt of his sword into Tamoe's face and pressing him against a wall. Roshi attempted to regain his balance but a foot came up and booted him down the hallway, slamming him directly into the wall next to the door.

Jeana 's eyes widened, running over and helping Roshi up. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. Stay in the room!" He shouted, springing forward and firing off a volley of ki blasts. Jeana did exactly what he said, retreating to the booth. General Gold, who was still pressing Tamoe against the wall, had just back to clear the energy blasts. Tamoe dropped to the ground as the energy blasts soared past him and into a wall, detonating instantly.

General Gold held his sword in front of him, eying Roshi carefully. Roshi gripped his sword with both hands, his stance sturdy. "The Kikoukenjutsu Sword Stance." He said.

Roshi smirked. "Hah, you know it!" He shouted, moving forward. He swung his sword overhead, bringing it down in an arc. General Gold stepped back and jabbed forward. Roshi brought his sword upwards, the point of the katana colliding with the middle of his blade. The black haired pushed off and stepped forward, hand out to fire off another wave of ki blasts.

Tamoe was on the ground composing himself. "Come on." He murmured, quietly motivating himself to rise to his feet and get back into the fray. The second he did, he found himself under attack! General Gold stepped to the side, pressing against the wall as the blasts shot past him. "Come on!" Tamoe groaned in aggravation, diving to the side and pressing his front against the wall. The hallway was narrow, so there wasn't really much room to maneuver.

"You kids are annoying." General Gold muttered. The dogman stepped forward, unleashing a barrage of slashes, jabs and cuts. Roshi brought his sword up, doing his best to parry and block each strike. It was apparent that the General was a much skilled swordsman as Roshi was struggling to keep up.

Tamoe ran up from behind General, lancing his arm into his shoulder blade. The attack sent a shooting pain through his back and Gold stopped his assault. Roshi's face lit up. He cocked back his fist and gave the general a fist full, driving him forward. Tamoe repeated his punch, except in the opposite shoulder blade.

The General spun around to backhand Tamoe, but he ducked under it. Roshi turned to the people in the room. "Get in the corner of the room, I have an idea!"

Everyone obliged, moving from the doorway quickly. General Gold gripped his sword. He was losing to a two children, barely into their teens? No way. His eyes narrowed with anger, gripping his sword as he watched their every move. Tamoe was behind him and Roshi was in front of him, both in their stances.

The General turned toward Tamoe, charging him and slashing wildly. Tamoe was unarmed but he did his best to dodge. The blade cut at his skin, each slice burning like fire. He yelled out in pain; the cuts weren't too deep but it sent excruciating pain throughout his body.

"Oh no!" Roshi called out, his aura flickering to life around him. He flew forward quickly, closing the distance and brought his knee out, connecting with the back of General Gold. The man stopped his attack, dropping his blade and giving Tamoe breathing room. Roshi dropped to the ground and sheathed his sword. His icy blue eyes went to his teammate. "Force him into the room!"

Roshi began to punch and kick, knocking the disoriented man back and back. General Gold was tripping over himself, doing his best to dodge but to no avail. The fists rained down on him and soon he was against the wall adjacent to the doorway. Some of the civilians were at the door but they soon went back into the corner upon seeing the bruised General. Roshi gripped the man's shirt and with a powerful grunt, tossing him into the room.

The bipedal canine rolled into the room and Roshi came in after, looking to the huddled group of people and pointing to the entrance. "Get out now!" He shouted and they all rushed out. The Brief family was the last ones out, just before Roshi who took a couple steps back. The General was on the floor, a couple of scrapes and bruises. Outwardly, he didn't look too bad but the two children did a number on him.

Roshi took a couple steps into the hallway. Tamoe was knelt down at the other end of the corridor, grasping an arm in pain. His gaze was on the downed General but his attention was to the families who had once occupied the booth. "Go to the stairs and wait! I gotta make sure this guy doesn't follow us."

Mrs. Brief broke from the group instantly, followed by Jeana and Mr. Brief. They ran over to Tamoe, who was settling down against a wall. Mrs. Brief knelt down next to her son. "Are you okay, honey?" She asked, tears in her eyes.

Tamoe looked up, a weak smile on his face. "I'm fine." He said proudly and attempted to get up. His cuts strung in response, sitting him back down.

Roshi ran over to the Brief's family, the other families waiting patiently by the stairs. Dropping low to the ground, He brought both hands out in front of him then to his side. His hands cupped, the swordsman began to chant. "Ka..me..ha..me.." He whispered. A blue light began to shine from his palms, blinding anyone too close. "Ha!" He shouted, thrusting both arms out. A thin blue beam of energy fired out of his palms, pulverizing the wall just outside the door.

The wall came down, creating a pile of rubble and successfully blocking off the entrance to the booth. General Gold was successfully trapped.

Jeana looked at her little brother, kneeling down and smiling. "Good job, little bro." She said affectionately.

Tamoe's smiled turned into a grin. "Hey, Bruce isn't here so I gotta save your ass."

Mrs. Brief brought her hand upside Tamoe's head, her eyebrows knitting. "Hey young man! Stop cursing!"

Jeana looked around. "Hey, where is Bruce anyway?" The Brief family all looked around but the bodyguard was nowhere to be found."

Roshi turned toward the ground, taking a deep breath. "Sorry to interrupt. But he's down there fighting off some people. I know he's your bodyguard and all, but he's a little busy."

Mr. Brief nodded. "I understand. Apparently, there's something big going on here."

Roshi nodded as well. "Yeah, I'm as confused as you. Anyhow, we need to get you guys away from here and into the town." With that, He charged forward, leading the group out onto the tournament grounds and away from the mayhem.

Colonel Black brought his arms up, Bruce's fists slamming into them. The sheer force from the punch ripped the grass and dirt from under them, flying up around the two fighters.

"You're hitting a lot harder, boy." Colonel Black commented, pushing off and throwing his own punch. It passed through an afterimage.

Bruce came from behind, bringing his knee into the back of Colonel Black's head. The large man stumbled forward before spinning around, his arm swinging but only going through another image of the orange clad boy. "What the hel—" He couldn't even finish his exclamation before what felt like a bulldozer slammed into his face. Bruce's punch knocked the Colonel off of his feet, sending him back. Bruce himself landed on the ground, the red aura intensifying as he charged his ki.

Vyolen's eyes widened in amazement but the Namekian didn't allow it show any further. He looked at the dark skinned warrior with approval. "You just dominated him."

Bruce didn't respond. It seemed that he was struggling just to stand, his legs trembling slight. He took a deep breath, his aura intensifying even more. His legs spread out, digging deep into the grass under him as his arms went to his side. He cupped his hands and the veins on his arms bulged, his muscle mass increasing slightly. "Ka…me…ha…me…"

A bright azure light began to shine through the spaces between his fingers. His ki lit up his general, coating everything in a brilliant light. Vyolen had to cover his eyes to prevent behind blinded. The soldiers who were knocked out earlier, who was just coming to, grunted in pain before shielding their eyes as well.

Bruce's eyes widened, the vein in his forehead throbbed violently. "HAAA!" His arms shot out, the bottom of his palms kept close together as a large blue blast fired from his hands. He screamed at the top of his lungs as the energy attack, which looked like a large fiery blue ball with a tail, rocketed toward Colonel Black, who was lying down against the side of the ring.

The man was too slow. He got to his knees as the blast raced toward him, burning a trail in the grass under it. Colonel Black would be seen crossing arms in front of him, the Kamehameha engulfed him completely. Commander Red and General Violet raised their arms as the ki detonated, the ground jumping and shaking in response. Vyolen kept his footing easily, his arm still crossing in front of him.

General Violet was shocked by the sheer destructive power of the attack. "Do you think Black is alright?"

Commander Red smirked. "I'm not paying him to not be able to take something like that."

Bruce's Kaioken faded instantly, fatigue swallowing his body whole. His eyelids dropped as he felt to the ground, Vyolen rushing over and catching him. "I don't sense him. Hopefully that took him out." The Namekian said, holding the Turtle student up while looking in the direction. Bruce did the same, awaiting the results of his attack.

Colonel Black's ki came to their senses once more and Bruce sighed in exasperation.

"Damn it." Vyolen said.

The smoke cleared. Half of the arena of the destroyed but luckily the martial arts weren't harmed. Colonel Black was standing there. His long jacket was blown off, revealing his muscular chest. There was a metal plate over his right breast and another over his left hip, mostly hidden by his pants. From the forearm down, were limbs made out of black colored steel. There were holes in his pants, scratches and burn marks over his body. The hair on his beard and mohawk were slightly singed. Otherwise, he looked fine.

"That hurt." He muttered, cracking his neck.

Vyolen set Bruce down. He stood for a couple seconds before collapsing to the ground. The Namekian dropped into his stance. "Don't act you didn't feel that!" shouted the Namekian angrily.

Colonel Black smirked. "I said it hurt." He said before running forward. His fist came out, catching the Namekian in the jaw. The green warrior's head jerked to the side but he quickly righted him, bringing his own arm for a chop.

His hand slammed against the Colonel's neck but he didn't feel it. Instead, he grabbed Vyolen's arm with one hand and placed his other on the Namek's shoulder. With a powerful tug, he ripped off the Namek's arm from the shoulder down and tossed him next to Bruce.

Vyolen yelled in pain, purple liquid pouring from the wound. He hit the ground, holding the stump in pain. He looked up at the Colonel.

"Regenerate, Namek." Colonel Black ordered and Vyolen looked at him for a while. He grunted and in a splash of green liquid, a new arm formed. He panted, biding his time.

Colonel Black stood over the two, looking down. "Now, I'll handle you later. That boy has to pay for what he did to my favorite overcoat." The muscular man reached down for Bruce and Vyolen's arm went out, firing a large blast of golden ki. The blast enveloped the Colonel and sent him back.

He was unscathed. Black's eyes fell on the Namek, who was unnerved at what little damage his attack had down. The Namek jumped to his feet but the Colonel rushed him, spearing into Vyolen and dropping him to the ground. "I'm tired of you now." He said angrily, picking up his opponent by the Namek's vest.

Colonel Black began to punch Vyolen repeatedly in the face for a couple minutes, his metal fists smashing against his skull. Bruce laid there. He was awake but unable to do anything. Every muscle in his body ached. "Vyolen…" He muttered, struggling to his feet.

Finally, Colonel stopped. Vyolen's nose was bleeding purple and his right eye was swollen shut. "Good riddance, barbaric insect." The man said, tossing him toward the front of the Red Pants ship. Vyolen was unable to right himself into the air and slammed directly into the ship's front, slipping into unconsciousness immediately. His body felt to the ground with a loud thud.

Bruce turned toward the Namek, weakly holding his arm out. "Vyolen…"

General Black kicked him in the side of the head. "Shut up, boy." He reached down, picking him by the back of gi. Bruce looked up at his assailant, who smirked. This day had not gone as planned. His mind went to Jeana and Tamoe, along with the rest of the Brief's family. Sifu Kame, Marron, Roshi. He couldn't even protect the one who trained him. His eyes closed in defeat.

"Hey, Black!" Commander Red shouted and the Colonel turned to his leader. The man pointed to his side and Colonel Black turned to see a monk and a blond haired man with glasses, standing behind a camera, which was on a tripod. "Make sure you don't kill the boy. These fools are broadcasting this to the entire world so it'd be nice to show what's going to happen if this barbaric art keeps being practiced."

"Don't kill him is what you're saying?" Colonel Black responded.

"That's what I said. Just beat him up a little and leave him and Big green over there—" Commander Red pointed to the Namekian in front of the ship. "-Troops, round up the captured martial artists and bring them into the ship."

The soldiers, who were all standing and awake now, did just that. Bruce watched as they pulled away Double B and the other unconscious martial artists. A metal fist slammed into his temple, disorienting him. His attention went back to Colonel Black.

Bruce was being pounded. Punches struck his body repeatedly, each attack winding him. Finally, the assault stopped and Colonel Black dropped him onto the grass. He was bruised and battered.

"Do we just leave them?" Colonel Black asked, looking to his leader.

Commander Red nodded, watching as his foot soldiers dragged the martial artists into the ship, a hatch opening in the front. Bruce looked as well. His vision was blurred but he could see the martial artists being thrown into cages. "You monsters." The teenager whispered but a kick from Black silenced him.

Bruce groaned before losing consciousness.

"Come on, Black, Violet." Commander Red said, walking into the ship. The soldiers, some limping and bleeding still, were following after their leaders. Colonel Black followed behind the group of soldiers, not even looking back on the mayhem the Red Pants caused.

The last soldier was stopped by Commander Red. The red haired man looked at the man clad in black and patted him on the back. "Nice job taking that old man out, Wilson!"

The soldier known as Wilson smiled. "Thanks, boss."

"Now get your ass on the ship."

The Red Pants Army's ship hummed to life as the hatch closed up. Soon, the engine roared and the blimp-like ship went into the air slowly. Once it was high enough, the turbines began to spin and the battleship flew off slowly.

"Shut up!" Roshi whispered into Jeana's ear. He was holding the girl down, who was watching the entire fight from behind the wall separating the crowd and arena. They were supposed to go into town but Roshi was unable to just leave his friend to fight the enemy alone. The black haired swordsman knew his uselessness in the situation but kept put where he was, watching the fight. The people he was supposed to leading into town ran off on their accord, all leaving the island in the vehicle they came to return to their homes.

Jeana was hysterical and in tears. She saw Bruce's attack fail and the two warriors fall. She wanted to run and check on her bodyguard immediately but Roshi had to stop her. Bruce was his childhood friend so he had to restrain himself as well, knowing that he was just be useless in the situation.

Mrs. Brief watched in horror and Mr. Brief was holding Tamoe, who had succumbed to his wounds and fell asleep. It was surprising that the explosion created from the Kamehameha didn't wake him up.

Finally once the ship flew, Roshi let go of Jeana and the girl ran. No one has ever seen her move so fast, except when there was a sale at a clothing store. She scaled the wall and ran to check on the unconscious Bruce. She knelt down and began to shake him. "Bruce, get up!" She shouted but the boy was unresponsive. He was breathing, which meant he was still alive.

Roshi carried the other members of the Brief Family over the wall and over to Bruce. They crowded around him and Roshi just looked down.

"Let's get him back home. I'll call our doctor" Mrs. Brief said, taking Tamoe from Mr. Brief. Mr. Brief bent over and picked Bruce up, holding him up, albeit with a little difficult.

Roshi turned to the where the ship was, noticing the Namekian's body. "We gotta go get him too." Roshi said, his gaze going back to Mrs. Brief. The older woman nodded and Roshi flew over to get the Namek.

Jeana was crying her eyes out, knelt down on the ground. She looked around, taking all the chaos in and crying even more.

"Honey. We gotta go." Mrs. Brief said. Jeana nodded, not speaking a word and the family (as well as Roshi) headed to the parking lot. They would board their vehicle and fly to West City.

Hello, everyone!

For those who kept up with the story - sorry for not updating. I just haven't had the drive for the story and honestly, kind of forgot about it. However, for those interested, I have up to chapter twenty-seven written so if enough love is shown, maybe that'll motivate me to keep a regular updating schedule. For the sake of simplicity, I've decided to round the power levels to whole numbers. As for power levels, here you go.

Bruce (Kaioken 2x) 10,000

General Black: 15,000

General Gold: 6,000

Roshi: 4,000

Tamoe: ?

There would be a power levels chapter at the end of each saga. There, I will explain my power levels system for those who are confused. Until, read and review. I will try to keep a regular schedule so look forward to an update on Monday.
