Oh hello again! Yes, I'm still alive. Things just have been hectic since Thanksgiving. 1) I discovered I was pregnant with my fourth child and my husband and I have been trying to come to terms with the thought of a fourth child. Because this means we now have to not only get a bigger vehicle, but we have to also find a bigger house. And 2) on December 14th, 2017, my father was hit by a truck while on his motorcycle, and he was killed. As you can imagine, that was traumatic enough, besides the fact that my father and I haven't spoken in years and the last time I saw him, I told him to "Get the fuck off my property, you bastard."
...Yeah, so I'm dealing with that guilt. But I'm trying to distract myself lately so I'm forcing myself to at least right some, even if a small chapter, for each of my stories. Anyways, to the chapter!
"Alright everyone, quiet down."
The students tried their best to be silent, but they were too excited. This was a day they had been waiting on for years.
"First, I want to say I am so proud to have been your teacher these last few years. And it brings me much joy to say," the teacher paused for affect, "Congratulations , Graduates!"
"Ume Sichi, Sayuri Kowazaki, and Cho Akimichi. You three will be our village's first, all-female team, Team 4. And you will meet your perspective sensei at the Dango shop." Sayuri ran and hugged her two new teammates. Ume tried to shrug the blonde off and Cho just looked uncomfortable.
Cho had dark green hair, brown eyes and was a little on the chubby side. She was usually very quiet and sat in the back of the room next to Mishi. Though she was a member of the Akimichi clan, she was one of the best during drills and exercises. The girl seemed to truly enjoy exercise just as much as she loved food.
The teacher looked over the paper, "Team 6 will be as follows; Shiro Tatsuya, Itachi Uchiha, and Mishi Nagano."
"Aww," Shiro groaned, "Why do I get stuck with the babies?" Shiro yelped and held his hand to his throat after a kunai flew past him and embedded itself into the wall. A little blood was on his hand as he pulled it back. He glared at Itachi, who still had his hand up from where he'd thrown the kunai, sitting across the room.
Mishi growled low in her throat from her spot in the back. "I can see me having to seperate them two a lot."
Cho patted her on the shoulder, "I know the feeling. Sayuri and Ume are polar opposites and now they're on a team together? Recipe for disaster."
Mishi peeked between her fingers at Shiro who was attempting to hit Itachi, but Itachi was easily blocking each punch. "Ditto."
The teacher sighed, before telling them that they could meet their new sensei on top of the Hokage monument.
Author's Note: I'm sorry this is so short. I really wanted to make it longer, but I just couldn't break through the fog of these past few months. I'm sorry. But, I got a new phone for christmas that can be used as a hotspot, so as soon as I write a new chapter, I can post them now. And I know I've said things like that before, but unless we can no longer afford $35/month for my phone or I like, drop it in water, we should be good.
