Hey guys just so you know I put a poll up about what my next weird couple should be with some of choices I thought would be fun to write about so if you want you can vote on that and if you have another odd pair you would like me to add to consideration feel free to message me about it. Anyways this is a short chapter with alot more importance then you may believe at first glance. Thank you so much for reading and leave me a comment to let me know what you think!
Morning came, and Tommen woke to being washed with by his wife.
He moved to get up but she stopped him. "Rest darling please." She told him she grabbed the water cup giving him a drink of it. "Are you hungry?"
"Sansa what is going on?" Tommen asked.
"Your leg got infected, you were sick, Qyborn cleaned it."
"He also from the feeling of my leg cut the 'infected' area."
"Do not be grumpy I thought I was going to lose you!" She cried holding him tightly.
"Hush don't cry."
"Qyborn said that could happen, being especially emotional, it maybe apart of my recent need of you as well." She said whipping her tears away.
"What?" He asked.
"We are having a baby."
"What?" He asked with a happy grin he put his hand to her stomach. "I love you Sansa Stark."
"I was so scared you would die without knowing how much I love you Tommen Baratheon." She told him with a smile.
He moved to get up again. "I want to tell everyone." He said happily.
"Tommen please, you need to rest." She told him.
"I'm fine, I need to meet with my small council, I need to make sure Oberyn Martell hasn't killed any close family members of mine." He said getting up.
"Your life is more important then that." Sansa said pulling him back to bed. "I will meet with the council, I will make sure the Martell's are behaving-" She started but Tommen pulled her onto his lap with great ease.
"Oh if I'm staying in bed you must keep me company my queen." He told her making her spine tingle his hand aimlessly wandered up and down her side she leaned down to kiss him but as there lips were seconds away the door opened and they both looked to it.
"If only you had some very loyal people who could run things with out you." Tyrion said walking in with Jamie
"Maybe uncles they could trust who were the hand of the king and the captain of his kingsguard." Jamie added laying raven scrolls on the table next to our bed.
"We can handle one day with out a king and a queen, we handled 15 years without Robbert being a king." Tyrion teased.
"Thank you both of you." Tommen said but he was looking at sansa.
Her eyes never left his as she said "Yes it's very kind." Quietly and without a thought she brushed his blonde hair back.
Tommen smiled. "But they must go now so we must bid them fairwell." Tommen said.
"Of course." Tyrion said and they both turned to leave.
As soon as the door shut their lips met they kissed each other longingly, in one kick move he turned her to straddle him and she pushed him down to lay against the pillows, his hands reached up opening her dress to feel her breasts.
"Mmmh Tommen are you sure we should?" She said breathlessly as he kissed at her chest.
"Of course we should."
"B-ut you need to rest." She said softly.
"I'm fine" He said against her chest.
"T-tommen the baby." She reminded.
He stopped nodding falling back against the pillow. Sansa got off of him putting her hand under his trousers.
"Y-you don't-" Tommen started.
"You won't be a good napping companion until you have so hush." She said with a soft kiss on his lips.
When he felt like he was going to burst at the seams he pulled her hand up. She went to sleep cuddled against him but he was still restless and ran his fingers through her red hair while he read a book. His mind wander though to their baby, he could imagine a little girl who had Sansa's red hair or maybe a boy who he could bounce on his knee.
"Read to me." She told him when she finally stirred, and he did.
She reached over him to grab a raven scroll with a direwolf crest on it assuming it would be from Arya who wrote her more and more these days.
Tommen noticed her frown.
"What is it my love?" Tommen asked.
"It's Robb." She said reading it over again memorizing the raven scroll to heart as terrible as it was.
"Is he alright?" Tommen asked concerned.
"Little Eddard died of the pox."
"We should go to him immediately."
"You know I would love that Tommen but I don't think we can with the Martells here to see us, we don't want a war." She said softly.
He held her to his chest and they laid still in each other's arms to comfort one another.
"We should both write him." Sansa finally said.
Tommen nodded before kissing her head. "He would like that." Tommen agreed. Though they both grieved for Robb another thought passed through Tommen's mind. Robb Stark no longer had an heir and was wifeless, every woman in the seven kingdoms would want to be his bride and everyone that knew Tommen and Sansa would want to be given the opportunity.
