The chapter is finally here :D I might go a little OOC later on, I'm not sure. But I hope you like the chapter since it took me a while to right down but I finally got it done

Third person P.O.V

"Hello, Alice. It's been a while, hasn't it?" Nightmare's cheery voice said from above the girl. Blinking in surprise Alice quickly glanced around at her surroundings before looking up at the incubus.

"Nightmare?" She asked, wondering exactly when she had fallen asleep. The last thing the girl could remember was talking to Julius back at the Clock Tower.

After paying for the banana Alana stole Alice had returned to the Clock Tower confused and upset. While upset that Alana didn't want to talk to her like she was hoping for she was far more confused about the coins that were given to her. Or, more specifically, the dates that were on the coins. Alice had come into Wonderland in the nineteen thirties but the coins were clearly from the future. Did … did this mean her chance to return home was gone? Had Alice been in Wonderland for so long that she could never return to her proper time period again?

"Oh? What's wrong, Alice? You're thoughts are really jumbled. Did something happen?" The man asked, floating lower so he was in arms-length to the girl. Said girl crossed her arms against her chest and cast the demon an irritated glare.

"I thought I told you to stop reading my mind." She scolded, puffing out her cheeks. Nightmare chuckled and teasingly patted the top of her head.

"Hehe, even without reading your mind I can still tell that something is upsetting you, Alice." The incubus teased, pulling his hand away before the girl had a chance to swat it away. Alice grunted before looking away from the man with a sad sigh.

"Is it that obvious?" She asked gloomily as her thoughts unconsciously went back to what she witnessed Alana do and the money. Towards hearing Alice's thoughts Nightmare's expression dropped into a frown and his eyes hardened slightly.

After talking to Alana and witnessing her nightmare the incubus wasn't surprised to learn how distant she seemed to be. However, what did surprise him was that she was caught stealing something, even if it was something as small as a banana. Clearly there was more that met the eye with this new girl; including being kinder than she let on. If Alana was still sleeping by the time he was done talking to Alice he'd have to pay her another visit. At least this time, since he was more aware of her presence, he'd be able to tell if she'd start to nightmare.

The thing with the money, however, was somewhat of a bigger issue. Nightmare was well aware that the girl had come into Wonderland with a backpack. It had been one of the few, clear, memories he had been able to pull from Peter's thoughts of her. However, while he knew she had a backpack the incubus was unaware what was in it. So he had no idea that Alana had money from her world, or that the money was dated with certain years.

The incubus never intended for Alice to find out that Alana was from the future back in their world. Sure, their clothing styles might be different but Wonderland had a verity of different styles. So, while Alana's clothing was considered odd, it wasn't abnormal. The fact that she had money on her, however, was something completely different. It was something Nightmare was going to have to take care of.

"Alice," Nightmare called softly, floating lower so he was able to grab her chin and gently lift her head to face him, "don't worry about silly little things like that. Just give Alana a little bit more time to adjust to what's happened to her. Things will get better soon." He promised soothingly, gently rubbing her chin as he stared directly into her eyes.

Alice's eyes glazed over as her body wobbled and her mind went fuzzy; if Nightmare hadn't been holding onto her she might have fallen over. It only took seconds to for him to alter her memories of the events with Alana. He felt bad about having to tamper with her memories but it was for the best. If he continued to allow Alice to remember that Alana was from the future it would only complicate things. So, to make sure this kind of thing didn't happen again, Nightmare knew he'd have to pay Alana another visit.

"Ah, it looks as if you are waking up. Remember Alice, things will get better, just give it a bit of time." The incubus advised before Alice disappeared from the Dream Realm. Well, now to give Alana a visit… or not, seeing as she was about to wake up.

'I'll have to speak to Alana later. For now let's see if I can dig up any more information on her.' Nightmare thought as he looked off to another end of the Dream Realm. Since Alana was going to wake up soon it would be difficult to spy on her; luckily the demon knew of different ways to gain the information he wanted.

Alana's P.O.V

I shivered as a cool breeze woke me from my sleep. When I blinked open my eyes I saw that I was still in my hotel room and the book I had been reading was still in my hand. To be honest I couldn't remember falling asleep or what I had dreamt about; I couldn't even remember putting my dagger away. Actually, I think I was still wearing it. Either way, the last thing I could remember after Alice caught me stealing was returning to my hotel room to be alone and read. So I'm sure I didn't open the window or turn on the air conditioner, if the room even had one that is, that caused the breeze.

Just as I was about to sit up and look at the window I heard a small jingling sound. It kind of sounded like someone was jingling keys, only the sound was smaller and quieter. I knew where ever the sound was coming from, it had to be close by. For a brief moment I thought it could be a hotel maid pushing a cart down the hall. However, when I realized I couldn't hear the actual cart being pushed, or anyone knowing on doors for house keeping, I dismissed that idea. So I was insure what had made the jingling sound but the more I tried to think about it the more tired I became.

'Maybe I'm just hearing things because I'm still tired.' I thought and closed my eyes as I nuzzled back into my pillow. I didn't feel as if I was in danger and resting a little bit longer sounded like a nice idea; besides, that slight breeze was beginning to feel nice.

"Nyeh, I thought she was about to wake up." I heard a voice mumble as, much to my shock, a finger poked my cheek. My eyes shot open and I jerked up in bed as I slapped away the hand, turning to face the person who had spoken and touched me.

The very first thing I noticed was the pink hair and matching pink cat ears. The second thing I noticed were his yellow, cat like eyes; one of which was hidden behind a patch of hair. The third thing I noticed was how close he was leaning in as he stared at me. I was so surprised by his sudden appearance that I found myself jumping backwards and nearly falling off the bed because of it.

The hell? First I get kidnapped by a strange, temperamental rabbit eared man and now some cat boy breaks into my room? Just how many animal people did this world even have? More importantly how did he get into my room when the door was locked?

I was shaken from my thoughts when I heard the jingling sound again. When I darted my eyes toward the source of the sound I saw a long, wiggling, pink tail behind him. Attached to the tip of the tail was a small chain fish piercing, which would make a small jiggling sound as it was moved.

"Hey, you're Alana, right? The other foreigner Alice told us about?" He asked excitedly, drawing my attention away from his tail and back to his face. I flinched and nearly fell off the bed again when I noticed that he had leaned in even closer; his face now only inches from mine.

For the first time in a long time I have to admit I was speechless. Even though I was a rather open minded person there was only so much I could handle. Getting kidnapped and brought into a strange world by a rabbit eared man was confusing enough. Then I have a dream about a man who saves me from my nightmare; which I'm still not sure was real or not. Now a cat boy, who I noticed was wearing black leather clothing, had somehow broken into my room. Perhaps I should rethink my situation a little and consider I've either gone crazy from living off the streets for so long or am dreaming.

"...Huh?" I finally managed to ask. Seeming unaffected by my previous speechlessness the boy leaned away from me and reached for the vial I had put on the side table next to the bed.

"Alice mentioned that another foreigner was in Wonderland and I'm guessing that's you. After all you have a face and not just everyone gets one of these." He told me with a smile as he held the vial in front of him so he could inspect it. I noticed his ears twitch as he shook the vial, as if something was still inside it, as his tail swayed behind him.

Well at least that made sense to how this guy knew my name but how he got into my room was another question. Well, that and why he was in my room. I had made sure that the door was locked and I was on the second floor so it wasn't as if my window could have been forced open. … And yet, as I glance behind the cat boy, I noticed that the window was wide open and it was still evening outside. Well that would explain the breeze but that just left the new question of if that was how he got in and just how he managed to open the window.

"Who are you and what the hell are you doing in my room?!" I demanded as I finally managed to find my voice. The boy looked away from the vial and his ears twitched as he looked at me in confusion due to my outburst. It only lasted a couple seconds, though, as he then smiled and pointed to himself.

"Who am I? I'm Boris Airay; the Cheshire Cat. I'm here because I wanted to meet you. When Alice told us that another foreigner was staying in this hotel I became curious. I never thought I'd get to meet one foreigner let alone two." He answered with a wide grin as he put down my vial. I resisted the urge to sigh but brushed my hand through my hair and cast the boy a glare.

Was he serious? Did he really break into my room while I was sleeping just because he was curious? Why would he even bother doing such a thing? Moreover just how did he get into my room when I was on the second floor? I already found out it was through the window but that didn't take away the fact that I was still on the second floor. More importantly why hadn't I kicked him out yet? Maybe I was just too shocked to have thought of that.

"Well, you met me, so now you can leave the way you came in." I replied unhappily and rounded the bed to get the vial from the table. As I did so I barely missed the boy... erm, Boris, pout.

To be perfectly honest I actually really like cats. Despite not being a vegetarian I've always liked animals but, if I had to narrow it down, I'd say cats were my favorite. I had always been the cat person in my family but we didn't get them as pets very often. We didn't find out until I was eleven years old but my dad was allergic cat fur. The reason we didn't find out sooner was because it was a minor allergic reaction that slowly grew stronger. So the last cat we had was when I was ten and she was a tabby named Lilly.

However, while I really like cats, I was unsure what to think of the cat boy; besides being angry that broke into my room while I slept. His black clothing was lined in hot pink, which matched his hair, ears and tail color. His ears had at least three piercings each and he was even wearing a choke collar which had a chain attached to that lead somewhere into his shirt. In all he looked somewhat like a punk and, if it wasn't for the fact that I saw them move, I might have thought the tail and ears were fake. Oh, and did I forget to mention he also had a furry pink stripped boa around his shoulders?

Boris's P.O.V

I'm not sure why but I got the feeling that the girl didn't like me all that much. I wonder why that was. After all, it wasn't like I put my gun to her head or went through her personal stuff. Alice hates it when I do that to her; going through her stuff I mean as I'd never threaten her with my gun. So I wonder what I did that put the foreigner in a bad mood. Was it because I touched her vial or poked her cheek?

"I don't want to leave yet though; we just met." I argued and leaned in to sniff her as she picked up her vial. Hmm, she sure smelt strange like Alice but also really different from her; kind of earthy.

"I don't care... and stop doing that!" She demanded as she flinched away from me. Confused I pulled my head away from her and felt my ears twitch as I tilted my head.

"Stop doing what?" I asked, wondering what she could have meant. As if I had done something bad Alana pulled away from me even more.

"Stop sniffing me and stop twitching those ears." She clarified, clearly looking disturbed but it only confused me more. I was only doing what was normal for a cat and my ears more or less moved on their own.

"Huh? But I'm a cat; that stuff is normal for me." I explained and watched as she made her way towards the door. I saw her shake her head as she reached the door but looked back to glare at me with her green eyes.

"Well, whatever. If you aren't going to leave, I will." The girl growled as she then opened the door and slammed it behind her as she left. I stayed silent for a moment and listened to her walk down the hall until I couldn't hear her anymore.

After a few seconds I made my way over to the window and looked out of it. I could see that Alana had left the hotel and was now walking down the street. Even from up here I could see the scowl on her face, which made me grin. Hehe, just like Alice she seemed to get annoyed easily and wasn't afraid to say what was on her mind. Still I could tell that there were clear differences between the two girls but just how different were they from each other.

With my grin widening I climbed onto the windowsill and chuckled. Well, if I wanted my questions answered there was only one way to get them. Besides, the old man wouldn't be expecting me home for another two time changes so I had to kill my boredom somehow.

I hope you enjoyed ^^ I'm sorry if you think Boris is a little OOC. I had to remind myself that he is friends with the twins and these guys "play" by trying to kill and attack each other. So his personality was a little tricky. Also, there is no proof that Alice comes from the 1930's; that is just what I believe.
