Disclaimer: You ever wake up in the morning and realize you own nothing of Kim Possible? Well I sure I did, but the story idea- All mine!
:: Predation in the Halls – The Hunt ::
Ron's lungs finally had a chance to inhale some much needed oxygen, as he heaved inside the Smarty Mart megastore. He leaned on the nearest wall to relax, letting his eyes rest, and remembering the reason for his quick panting. The teen sighed, engraving a new idea into his head. Note to self: If KP wants to tear apart Bonnie's face or anyone's face for that matter, then who was he to stop her? Let her destroy the person. Probably had it coming anyways. And better them instead of him.
"Ronald!"
Opening his eyes, he spotted a familiar Smarty Mart employee walking towards him, that had slowly grown accustom to his visits. A short large man, missing much of his hair, who seemed overjoyed to see his favorite Smarty Mart shopper.
Ron's breathe finally caught up with him and he leapt back into action, "No time to chat Oscar! I'm running for my life! I need to find some weapons to defend myself!"
"Ah, well then, you want aisle 24 – Survival Kits & Things!"
He nodded at the direction the man pointed at and left him behind in a trail of dust. Oscar barely saw Ronald leave when another familiar face entered the store. His best friend Kim and she looked contently determined. The hero girl whipped her head in many directions, leaning on her tippy toes, to see past all the other shoppers in the story. She then spotted Oscar and smiled warmly.
"Hi Oscar... did you see where Ron went?" she asked.
The man nodded, "I sent him to aisle 24. Something about needing to defend himself or something? I don't know. You kids today and your imaginations," he remarked, pointing at the direction where Ron ran.
"Yea we sure have some crazy imaginations," Kim did a small twirl with her finger at the side of head to further sell it. She then jumped to try and spot Ron, "So which aisle again did you say Ron run to?"
"Aisle 24," Kim waved thankfully while running past him, in an even faster pace Ron had left in, and avoided the average shopped in every step of the way.
Oscar chuckled, shaking his head, "Those two are definitely an interesting pair."
...
The sidekick almost reached the aisle, until another body grabbed him from behind, in a tight bear hug. With great force, he was pinned him down. And quickly he could hear a gentle purring and feel a small wave of heat touch his back. The person behind him, squeezed tighter, trying to squash his attempts of escape.
"Mmm, gotcha Ronnie," Kim teasingly told behind his ear.
"K-KP?" he breathed frightened, hoping to fight off her hug, "What brings you to S-Smarty Mart?"
Kim licked her lips, "Oh you know. Just thought I pick up a new Ronnieroo," she giggled.
"Ronnieroo?" Ron swallowed, looking for a means of escape.
"Yea a Ronnieroo. I heard you could cuddle and do other things with them. Especially at night... all night." Kim breathed gently on his neck, barely holding back her lips, "And I can't wait to take you home."
Breathing heavily, Ron struggled in her hold, rolling them in the nearest aisle, Aisle 15 – Bathroom Appliances & Stuff. However, Kim's hold proved stronger than usual. And the teen knew from past tickle fight experiences, Kim's strength, and normally he could escape her grasp. But this time, her strength trumped his. He could not get her to let go.
Twisting and turning, and with a final push, they rolled into a shelf, knocking down some items. Random bars of soap fell on them, and Ron struggled again, hoping the slippery substance could be enough to free him. Kim not wanting to lose her 'meal,' tightened her hold, but at the last second, Ron slipped through her arms, and ran out the aisle in a hurry. Leaving a heated Kim in both senses of the words, alone and growling.
Slowly getting up, Kim pulled out her kimmunicator. She scrolled through a list of functions her gadget had downloaded since the time she connected it to a Smarty Mart terminal. She was determined not to let Ron get away that easily.
Sliding on one foot, Ron reached his designated stop - Aisle 24, and quickly began rummaging through the countless supply of items on the shelves. He picked a survival gear bag and began filling the sack as fast as his hands could, swiftly checking the things he grabbed.
"Let's see rope? Yes. Face paint? You bet! A bag of marshmallows... ? Sure why not!" Ron pulled the bag over his shoulder, counting everything between his fingers, "Rope – Paint – Electronic Lantern – Marshmallows – a journal," the list went on, "Ok. This should be enough for me to hide from Kim, until whatever is wrong with her goes away. Now where to...?"
Suddenly the sprinkler system went off; drenching all the customers in Smarty Mart, in a hail of water. Everyone panicked, screams scattered everywhere, and in a hail storm, all abandoned the store, including all Smarty Mart employees. Ron would've gone with them, but suspected Kim would have jumped him, the second he gave away his post. The random drizzle probably had something to do with her anyways. So instead, the blond waited out the hysteric running, watching as the store becoming a ghost town in record time.
And within moments, the fail safe fire drill protocol passed. All the doors within the store locked, leaving him trapped with a craze best friend. And those very same doors wouldn't open for a few hours, fire or not. Ron only knew this, since Smarty Mart was like a third home, second to the Possible home.
Great now trapped inside the store and soaked to the bone, Ron wiped away the wet hair away from his face. He took off his red jersey as it stuck too much to him and his half drenched black turtle neck mission shirt would be enough to suffice his attire. Besides now the shirt would weigh him down. Something the teen did not need.
Ron slipped the bag over his shoulder, looks like he'll be hiding in the store instead. "At least things can't possible get any worse."
Shut!
The lights in Smarty Mart all started to go off one at a time, until poof! Creepy darkness surrounded his entire vision! His muscles tensed up from the sudden blindness, clutching the bag around his shoulder as they did. Using all his will power, Ron held back a girly cream, "Aww man."
He quietly slipped off the bag, and pulled out the battery powered lantern from his bag. Turning on the little toy, and once again having his range of vision back, but only severely handicapped. He could only see a few feet ahead of him and the barely readable outlines of some items in the store. The poor teen sighed; he was alone in the dark – with a crazy Kim on the loose – out to get him.
Not badical.
Forcing his legs to move, knowing Kim would surely find him if he stayed put. Ron ventured out the aisle, towards what he guessed was 'Missy's Fashion' area. A place filled with discounted clothes, perfect for the terrified teen to hide in.
Elsewhere, Kim was busy walking through the darkness, trying to sniff the blond out. She had hidden from the sprinkler system, underneath a large pile of towels, courtesy of Aisle 15! And then had pulled herself together, wanting to hunt down her meal. She lifted her nose highly in the air, her borrowed mystical monkey power instincts kicking in, and could get a distinct whiff of his aroma.
Twitching her nose in excitement, Kim leaned forward, following the scent, "I can smell Ron. He's still in the store. Soon I've have –!" The hero girl bumped into a deserted shopping cart, falling over the cart. She grumbled, blowing a stray strand of her hair away from her face. Getting up, she breathed slowly, dropping her eyelids for a quick sec. Then all too fast her green orbs turned blue and her vision of the dark became much clearer. Not 100 percent clear, but bumping into random objects would no longer be a problem.
Pleased with the results, Kim moved much quicker in her search for Ron, being all silent about it. Her steps were light and breathing calm. She peaked around all the corners, until his scent became increasingly strong in one particular aisle.
She stopped! Quickly hiding behind a shelf wall, Kim licked her lips before jumping out in surprise, "I got you now Ron!" she yelled, but to only meet no one there.
The hero girl blinked, sniffing the air again; the air told her that he was just here not too long ago. But why was his scent so strong here? The redhead looked around and found his shirt on the floor – his red jersey! She grabbed the familiar article of clothing and inhaled deeply the fabric, rubbing it on her small nose. It smelled just like him and Kim loved that!
Wanting to hold the person from where the smell came from, Kim resumed her hunt. Throwing on the shirt, ignoring the wetness it had.
...
Ron never ran so fast in his life, as he pushed through the articles of clothing carelessly, bumping every so often into a clothing rack. Hearing Kim cry out his name in hunger, was all the reason he needed for him to book it. He ran until he reached a wall. Then looked behind his shoulder to see no Kim and only 3 feet of light. He paused, breathing rapidly and holding his hand over his chest, just waiting for Kim to jump out the shadows. But nothing happened? Maybe he got away? Or maybe... maybe Kim was toying with him? Either way, the teen was scared.
Ron leaned on the way, falling onto the floor. Feeling his heart race. Grabbing his survival kit, Ron rummaged through it – searching for something that could help him. First he pulled out a journal he took for the hell of it. Looking at it, Ron shrugged, pulling out a pen from his survival kit.
Log Date 1 – I'm scared...
My name is Ron Stoppable and I know this is going to sound crazy, but I'm running from my best friend Kim. I don't know why or how it happened, but it just did! It's the moodulator sitch all over again! And now I'm stuck here in a blacked out Smarty Mart with a crazy KP on the loose. I'm scared. It's dark. And Kim's not going to stop.
But I must keep running! I can't just give up! Still, though... Out running Kim is not going to be easy. I could already picture her, jumping from the walls, and grabbing me by the shirt. Pinning me and doing naco knows what to me. In other words, I have to run! Even if the odds are against me.
But until then, I got no choice, I'm on the run. Hiding from my best friend. Oh cruel fate! I didn't think I would go down like this, being hunted down by Kim. Honestly I didn't see it coming. Being taken down by my pregnant best friend, should that be weird? Well this whole sitch is weird, but...
Damn it! I'm rambling when I should be running!
...
If I don't make it, please... someone feed Rufus. He likes cheese and Nacos, from Bueno Nacho.
Log Date 1 – End.
Ron closed the Log book, stuffing it into his survival kit. Alerted, he began to search the bag again desperately and found the rope he had taken earlier. The teen studied the rope, wondering if he could use it in anyway?
"Great, what am I going to do with this?" he asked himself, returning back to his search, "Let's see I got a knife and a power bar? Maybe I could cut the rope and tie something up together? But what? A trap? No. Kim wouldn't fall for that... unless if it was a trap-trap!" Ron got up all excited, moving close to the bottom of the clothing racks. "If I tie these knots here and put the paint on the edge of this clothing rack, then when KP comes by and trips them, I will know where she's at. Booyah!"
The teen got to work in a quick neck pace, eating half his power bar and tossing it aside. He only stayed at the spot for less than a few minutes before he left. Ron decided to head North, towards where the pet department was at – Aisle 16. If he could hide anywhere, it would be with all the confusing animals. But this time he decided to take the long route and go around the entire clothing department, trying not to bump into anything as he did. Any wrong moves and Kim would hear. And the thought of what she'll do to him, made his insides shake.
Passing through each aisle carefully, Ron finally made it to the pet department. The light from the toy lantern reflected off most, some being dogs and cats, other being not so common household pets, such as Zebras and Gorillas... even evil monkeys. Gulping, he patiently tip toed through the animal cages, not wanting to alert and disturbed the loud beast, and give away his secret location. Ron actually thought about it. Why exactly did he choose to come here again?
...
Kim's steps only got faster and faster with each step, until she practically ran throughout the clothing section. However as soon as Ron's scent got a bit stronger, she slowed almost immediately, taking her time. The girl could smell his odor strongly and she felt a heat rise in her body. The sudden heat rise was Ron's fault and she quickly becoming anxious to make him take care of it. Without noticing, too preoccupied at all the things she could imagine Ron do to make it up to her, Kim tripped on the rope trap Ron laid and a couple of paint cans fell. A loud metal clicking sound echoed through the darkness of Smarty Mart, alerting our poor sidekick with a shock to his nerves. Enough actually for him to bump into an animal cage, and just barely enough to spook the defenseless cow.
Mooooooo!
"Oh no."
Leaping up from picking up the distress cries of a cow, Kim's monkey senses went into high alert. All the pores on her body shivered and her heart beat ruptured her inner core. The soft shade of blue in her eyes, tingled darker. And her palms shudder with dying anticipation. High on mystical monkey instincts, the hero girl charged for the direction where the sound came, effortlessly dodging all the clothes racks. In moments, Ron's smell intensified. And she started to see his silhouette of a outline in the small beaker of light surrounding him.
Oh yea, Kimmie found her prey!
Since Ron hadn't noticed yet Kim, he tried to quiet down the cow, who instead wanted to moo even louder. Stupid cow! Giving up on a impossible task, Ron felt the hit of a unknown fruit to his head. Looking down, the teen spotted a banana and decided to look backwards towards the direction of the fruit thrower. It came to no surprise that a monkey threw the yellow fruit at him, from a cage above his head. Darn monkey, what did he think he was doing, wasting fruit. Bananas don't just grow on trees!
Grumbling, Ron barely heard the soft cries of urgency from the monkey. It called out in a low monkey screech, which was most majorly odd? Didn't monkeys love to be loud and rambunctious? Ron raised the banana to the monkey, figuring he wanted his food back, but he didn't take it. Instead the little monkey kept jumping within it's cage, pointing at some random direction. Taking a moment to understand him, Ron turned the lantern and his gaze towards the right, but saw nothing his 3 feet light could provide him. Ron rolled his eyes. The monkey was just probably crazy.
Still...
The little guy kept lowly howling at him in that direction. And soon more monkeys in the pet department kept jumping in their cages, even the gorilla in the way to small cage roared out quietly. Staring so stunned by their antics, Ron decided to look one more time towards the direction they were all pointing at. He couldn't see anything at all in the shroud of darkness, but still insisted to focus his eyes. Little by little, the howls grew louder until finally a lone petite figure jumped into his radius of light, and lunging at him with her fangs shining in the light, her eyes drowning in deep oceans of blue, and... her tail?
"Gotcha Ronnie!"
...
"Ok as Kimmie would say. In that sitch how demanding would she be, Monty?" Shego asked, sporting an earth shattering grin, all the other villains joining in as well with her. Monkey Fist looked at all the interested eyes and rose up from his seat, and leaning forward on the table.
"Well?" he mussed, chuckling lowly, "As I said. Kim Possible's borrowed monkey power will change her depending on her mood and emotions. And if she wants the poor sidekick and he refuses to let up. Hn, I could only imagine how much mystical monkey power would be coursing through her veins." Monty fell back onto his chair, kicking up one leg over his other, "I would guess she would first try the direct approach...?"
Ron narrowly dodged Kim's lunge, falling to his side, dropping his bag of supplies on the floor, and every simian crying out for the poor bastard. He got up as quickly as damn possible and ran off to any location on the store. Just him and his trusty toy lantern. Kim, having landed on her elbows and knees, quickly gave chase, and jumped from cage to cage, in pursuit of her meal.
"And if that didn't work? I would suspect she would give him an ultimatum. A deal of some sorts?"
Hiding in the ball pit of the toy aisle, Ron held his breath in, watching Kim search for him through the giant hall. He had dropped his toy lantern in the middle and could vaguely spot out Kim's figure lifting her nose up in the air, and search high and low for him. Luckily for him the toy aisle consisted of a giant plaza of toys. More than enough for him to find a hiding spot, like the ball pit. At least for a little while.
"Come on Ron! I know you are hiding here somewhere, I can smell you," Kim assured her meal, "We both know I'm going to find you. So why don't you make this easier for me and just come out. I promise I won't bite," Kim smirked, "too hard."
Drakken twirled his fingers, "And what if Stoppable doesn't take the deal Monkey Fist? What then?"
Thinking hard about that, the English lord shrugged innocently, "Well if that fails, she could always lure him in with a some suggestive 'ahem' temptations. As I remind you, Ron Stoppable too has the mystical monkey power and with that, the monkey instincts buried deep inside him."
Kim smiled playfully, still smelling Ron's strong scent in the toy plaza. If he couldn't be sold out, how about lured out? Be tempted?
She made her way to the toy lantern in the center, knowing Ron would so pay attention to her walking into some sort of light. She stood in the middle, not able to see Ron yet, but smiled anyways. Ron could only watch as Kim slowly started to dance in a slow rhythm, using her new tail to do a small twirl around his shirt? The teen blinked multiple times, now just realizing Kim wore his wet red jersey. And before he could wrap his thoughts around it, she took it off, revealing her drenched undershirt.
"What's Kim doing?"
Grinning wider, Kim slowly pulled off her other shirt, tossing it playfully on the floor, left dancing there in her pair of tight jeans and red bra. Ron's breathing and heart picked up in pace and a primitive urged started claw at his mind. What's Kim doing!
Kim slid to the floor slowly, breathing deeply in and out on purpose, to allow her somewhat soaked stomach to rise up suggestively. Her tail gently rubbed her stomach in light circles. Ron wanted to look away, but just couldn't, the inner monkey urges grew twice as strong.
Then Kim's arm trailed to her pants, lightly unbuttoning the top, but stopping mid way, "Oh gosh," she cried out in a husk tone, "I'm so tired and hot. Ron... can you hep me get into something more comfortable? These clothes are so constricting!"
Monkey Fist rubbed his hairy palm, "By then I would suspect Stoppable to give in. There's almost no chance of him being able to resist the temptations the cheerleader would give him. His monkey side wouldn't allow it, not in his lifetime."
Amy raised her hand, waving it like a lunatic, "Just out of curiosity love muffin," Monty frowned, feeling disgusted for DNAmy calling him that, "What happens if Kimmie couldn't temp Ronnie? What then?"
Everyone stared wide eyed at Monty, wanting to know the answer to her question. The room grew dangerously silent, and Fiske could see the looks of curiosity swimming frantically in their villainess eyes. Truth be told, Monty had to wing it here. What would Kim Possible do to get what she wants? "Well I would guess she would say something so life changing that it would make the Ronald stop dead in his tracks. What she would say, I would have no idea..."
Ron almost ripped the collar on his shirt, as he teeth tugged down forcibly on the black threads. Every damn instinct running in his blood demanded he get out this ball pit and give himself over to Kim. Let her have you. Why fight it? But he fought those monkey instincts and he fought each one hurtfully, bending the light metal wiring of the ball pits to his whim. The pressure hurt so badly in his body.
Wearing nothing but her small soaked underwear, Kim's arms touched all parts of her body. And her monkey tail, that Ron for some reason could not find sick and wrong at all, curled around her small waist, and through her glistening breast, lightly trailing up her neck. His so called trusty lantern's light only made her harder to resist her. Damn traitor!
All his instincts tugged at him to leave the ball pit. His human side, which he found harder to listen to, wanted him to remain put. Damn it, another minute of this inhuman torture and he knew Kim would have him. But no. Ron had to get out of here. Fighting down every monkey urge in his body, Ron slowly crawled out the ball pit in an opposite direction, avoiding Kim.
Kim immediately picked up Ron's wandering scent and did the last thing she had left in her arsenal.
Shego hmph'd, catching the attention of her boss, "Shego do you have an idea of what Kim Possible would do?" The raven woman smirked, filing her nails in silence.
Oh yea, she had one idea.
...
Ron only had made it a few steps before the cruel sounds of crying echoed through the toy plaza. The soft cries hit his inside so hard, that Ron found it difficult to utter a simple thought. All he could do was listen to Kim sob, sniffing every second, and her strong animal demeanor quickly vanishing.
Crying? Crying! She just had to cry!
The sidekick clutched his fist. He didn't know what to do. Guilt grasped his neck and urged him to go back. If not because it's the right thing, but only to stop her undying crying. Those soft sobs pulled at every string in his gentle heart and they pulled hard.
But Ron had to be strong, he had to be powerful, he had to be–
"I thought you loved me?!"
Now Ron could feel his insides destroy him and his monkey and human instinct clash together. How the hell was Ron Stoppable suppose to answer to that?
A/N: And no those 'two' stories don't relate to each other. Just thought I make it clear for anyone who didn't get that.
Once again 'Uberscribbler's chapter name idea 'Predation in the Halls' gave me the idea to further continue the hunt and get this chapter out much earlier than the usual one month waiting period. Everyone give him a hand! I said give him a hand damn it!
I only used the Log Date thing because it has its place in this story. And because I can!
Also, I think I've updated too much this month? By the way, what do you readers think if I change this story's name to 'A Little Orange'
