The travel party all looked at Bulma with wide open eyes. Some of those eyes had traces of both anger and desperation. Vegeta seemed to be the one who looked like his rage was near to be broken.
"So you are telling me that we have traveled for eight days in space. Those first five days, I have been talking honest nonsense because of that damned rope, and we get our ass handed to us by some mystery man in a tuxedo, and you mean to tell us that you didn't take that blasted radar?!" Vegeta yelled at Bulma.
"I'm sorry! This is a lot of pressure when it comes to trying to build a ship for you pea-brains!"
"And it wasn't just simple common sense just to get the radar," Chichi asked.
"What's done is done. We have to find a way to find the Dragonballs," Krillin tried to sooth the tension.
Everyone thought for a moment, so that they may come up with a plan to find the Dragonballs.
"Wait a minute. Freiza is here for the Dragonballs, so what if those other groups must be either Freiza's lackeys," Vegeta came up with an idea.
"What if they are the Namekians," Gohan brought up.
"Yeah. Maybe they already have the Dragonballs secured in their hands," Gojon suggested.
"Or Freiza could have them in his hands," Bulma pointed out.
"We would know already, if someone didn't forget the radar," Vegeta pointed out.
"Give me a damn break, will you," Bulma responded.
"Both of you shut up!"
Everyone turned around towards Goku staring outward toward the direction that Freiza was located. The fighter seemed to have very serious stance as everyone was trying to come up with a plan of action.
"We need to find out if those groups of energy signatures have the Dragonballs. We split up into teams, and check them out," Goku gave out the plans.
"Who will be going towards where Freiza is," Chichi asked.
"I'm not going to let you guys get into any danger, so I guess I should take up that part," Goku volunteered.
"Hmm. You are crazy enough to think you will be going up against Freiza alone," Vegeta said.
"I didn't say anything about going up against this Freiza. I meant that we keep a look out if Freiza has any of the Dragonballs. We keep our energy low, so that he won't pick us out on their scouters you told us about," Goku pointed out.
When Goku brought up the point about the scouters, an idea slammed into Bulma's mind.
"Wait, I got it! The scouters! I can use the scouter that belonged to Vegeta, and I can set to search for the Dragonballs," Bulma explained an improvising plan for the lack of the Dragonball radar.
"Hold on! I was planning to use the scouter to intercept on Freiza's communications. As much as finding the Dragonballs are important, I need to intercept on the communications," Vegeta pointed out, as he took his scouter and pressed on it to listen in on the communication line that would be stationed on Namek. However, there was only static on the line. "There is nothing. It can't be any interference from the planet's atmosphere, so somebody must have somehow disturbed the communication net.
"Despite that, I need that scouter," Bulma repeated her demand for the scouter. Vegeta could only grunt before he handed the scouter over to Bulma.
"When will you have the scouter ready," Krillin asked.
"Hard to say. It is prepped to track certain signatures, so all I need to do it is set it to searching for the Dragonballs.
"Alright then, we need to see what those other groups are," Krillin said.
"Hey, wait a minute, there are some power levels coming this way from one of the other groups," Gojon pointed out. Everyone who was able to sense power levels scanned the area ahead, and it was true, there were three energy signatures headed their way.
"Krillin, Chichi, take everyone to hide above that ridge. Me and Vegeta will wait here to see who they are," Goku informed his wife and best friend.
"But Dad, can't me and Gojon stay with you," Gohan asked.
"Not now son. I want you and your brother to make sure that your mother and the others are safe, okay," Goku responded to Gohan. Everyone listened to Goku, and they hurried on their way with the plan.
Everyone, except Goku and Vegeta were waiting above the ridge to keep a lookout to see who it was that was coming. They could see the ship and the two Saiyans from where they were laying low from, and they also had a view towards where the unknown energy signatures were coming from.
"I don't see anything," Bulma said.
"Quite. They are coming," Chichi replied to Bulma.
It wasn't long until they could finally see who it was, and to their comfort and surprise, it was three Namekians and they looked just like Piccolo concerning the green skin and other sorts of similar anatomy. Vegeta has seen many different types of aliens before, and he could tell whether they were harmless peasants or warriors to be reckoned with, and these three Namekians were fighters.
The Namekians landed right in front of Goku and Vegeta. One of them seemed to look like they had recently seen some action, and he looked towards Vegeta and his eyes widened when he noticed the armor he was wearing.
"Are you one of them," the Namekian asked in a very serious tone.
"What?"
"You have the same armor as those raiders that have been attacking our people. Are you one of them," the Namekian demanded for answer.
"I'm not with them. Matter of fact, I hate their guts," Vegeta answered.
"Hmm. We sensed other power levels. Where are they," the Namekian fighter asked.
"They're hiding. We just needed to know if you were friendlies," Goku said.
"Our Grand Elder informed us about a force for good that would be arriving on our world. That must be you. Bring your friends along with us. There is a team of raiders that are on the loose searching for the sanctuary village for our people," the Namekian said. The two Saiyans looked to each other to see if they should accept the Namekian fighter's invite. They both nodded heads towards each other, and Goku looked towards the ridge that the others were hiding above and he gestured for them to come down.
The others flew down, or at least carried Bulma down with them as well. The Namekians seemed to be very suspicious to paranoid, but they had good reason to since their people were being attacked and killed by strangers from the outside.
"Woow! They look a lot like Piccolo," Gojon commented.
"You have seen one of our kind before," one of the Namekian fighters asked.
"Yeah. The planet we're from, Earth, had a Guardian that was Namekian named, Kami, and his other half, Piccolo," Krillin said.
"So I see. Lord Guru should be more than happy to meet you all and discuss about certain matters," the same Namekian that talked to Goku and Vegeta responded. As they were about to follow the Namekians to the sanctuary area for the remaining Namekians, Gojon suddenly got a migraine headache that was caused by the sudden heightened volume of the surrounding sounds. The refugee child quickly covered his ears in pain of trying to stop the headache.
"Gojon? Sweetie, are you okay," Chichi kneeled to Gojon's level, as she noticed her son's gesture of pain.
"Yeah… it… just a headache. I'm fine, momma," Gojon answered. Chichi was a bit worried of Gojon's health, but she maybe being paranoid as a mother. She allowed it to pass.
Meanwhile…
Freiza was having a rough time, plain and simple. It was bad enough that he had to worry about the fact that there are assassins that are out to search and kill him, but then in one of the Namekian villages' one of the Nameks realized how they needed scouters to sense power signatures. They destroyed the scouters, and now they were blind and have no knowledge on the whereabouts of the other Nameks. Not to mention, the Nameks turned out to be a lot organized than what he had expected. The natives managed to gather up every Namekian village and evacuate to an unknown location.
The warlord had sent out Dadoria and Zarbon with a few of the men to find that Namekian refugee site, while he needed to call in his special force, the Ginyu Force. Freiza was unsure of when his father would arrive on Namek, since his father did make it clear that he was on his way to Namek to get Freiza out, but Freiza needed the Ginyu Force to get there faster and sooner so that they may provide new scouters and help out in the hunt for the Dragonballs.
Right now, Freiza walked into the communication room, and there seemed to be chaos going on with the technicians as they were trying to keep communications on due to their improvising by using old communicators after the scouters were destroyed.
'Note to self; make order for the engineers to come up with other equipment for communications,' Freiza told himself, and he looked to the technicians, "Patch me through with the Captain Ginyu on Planet 1938."
"Yes my Lord."
It took a while for the line to get connected with Captain Ginyu, and Freiza finally could see the indigo skinned alien with two horns on his head standing in the screen.
"Yes, Lord Freiza," Captain Ginyu addressed Freiza.
"I need you and your men to be arriving to Namek. Bring new and updated scouters," Freiza ordered.
"Yes, Lord Freiza. Although, your father had contacted us to head over to Namek, just a few seconds ago. He ordered us to assure that you were to either leave Namek or assure that you were safe," Ginyu informed Freiza.
"Did he now? Asking our worthy mercenary to assure I am safe. Well you are coming either way, so I hope you will bring the extra scouters."
"Well do, Lord Freiza. Captain Ginyu out," Ginyu shot off the line.
Freiza turned to one of the technicians and said, "Get a hold of Zarbon. I want a set rec."
"Patching him through. Zarbon, this is Command Ship, do you copy," the technician spoke into the radio.
"This is Zarbon. What is it," Zarbon spoke through the communicator. The technician handed the microphone to Freiza.
"This is Freiza, how is the search for the Dragonballs?"
"Err… there have been… difficulties," Zarbon said.
"What sort of difficulties," Freiza asked in an irritated tone.
"We ran into a village that was on the progress of evacuation. It was Dadoria's idea of attacking the village," Zarbon summarized the story.
The village attack…
The strike force led by Zarbon and Dadoria made their way to attack the village.
"Keep the elders and children alive. We are going to need them as leverage," Dadoria informed the men.
They charged at the village and shot at the young adult Namekians dead. The children ran for cover either behind the elders or inside their houses. The elders tried to provide cover for their children, but Freiza's men were closing in on them. The grand elder for the village, Moori, kept to two young ones close behind him.
The invaders had the elders and children rounded up. Zarbon and Dadoria looked around to the elders.
"We were lucky to find you. It would have made Lord Freiza very upset to know we had lost the last Namekian village. Now tell us, where are the other Namekians," Zarbon asked, but the Namekians stayed quite.
"Alright then, let us do it here and now. Where is this village's Dragonball," Zarbon changed the question.
"We won't give you the Dragonball," a young Namekian yelled out in resistance.
"If you want to go that way," Dadoria said, as he walked to one of the elders and grabbed his throat.
"Tell us where the Dragonball is, or this old geezer dies," Dadoria threatened, but before any of the villagers could react, three of Freiza's soldiers were shot dead from behind.
From the outskirts of the village, a Namekian war party attacked the raiders that had been terrorizing their people. The one leading these Namekian warriors was their greatest fighter, Nail.
They easily took out the soldiers of Freiza, but Dadoria and Zarbon were able to give the Namekians a fight. At least that was the issue until Nail took it upon himself to take out Dadoria and Zarbon. The Namekian fighter charged towards Dadoria and knocked him down.
Dadoria thought that he was just taken by surprise, so he got back up to finish off Nail, but he would be proven wrong that Nail is a lot stronger than the other Namekians. Dadoria threw a punch to connect on Nail, but Nail easily grabbed the punch and used his other arm to break the joint of Dadoria's arm.
"Arrrggh!" Dadoria yelled in pain. Nail looked directly into Dadoria's eyes, and fired an eye beam through the pink henchman's eyes. Zarbon knew that he was outnumbered, and the Namekian that killed Dadoria would certainly give him a fight even with his second form. So his best option was to retreat and fight another day.
Present time…
"I had to retreat. I would have ended up like Dadoria," Zarbon explained himself.
"You had the right to die. Making a stupid decision of attacking the village when you could have easily tracked their movements to the others," Freiza growled.
"My Lord…"
"Silence! Not another word. You will find the other Nameks, understood."
"Yes, Lord Freiza," Zarbon answered before he shut of the line.
Freiza slammed the microphone to the wall in anger, knowing that it was only a matter of time before those assassins would locate him and kill him. He only had three Dragonballs under his grasp, and now the Namekians were somewhere hidden away from danger with their warriors out for blood against his men.
"Lord Freiza, how would you wish to proceed," a foot soldier asked.
"Send out scouts, to search for the Namekian refugee camp. Where ever they may be, the Dragonballs will be there," Freiza ordered.
"Yes my Lord."
Meanwhile…
Gojon looked around to see all the Namekian refugees all gathered around to see the new comers that Lord Guru sensed was coming. They all looked very suspicious to these new comers, since their people were endangered by these invaders. Although, he really wasn't feeling so well due to the sudden migraine headaches he would be getting.
"Hey, bro, you sure you're alright? You are starting to look a bit irritated," Gohan asked his brother.
"I'm fine. It's just a headache," Gojon tried to remind his brother.
"Well it's not normal. I remember you have never gotten a headache before. You haven't gotten sick before," Gohan said.
"You haven't gotten the chicken pox either," Gojon remarked.
"Yeah, but this is you we're talking about."
"Just let it go, Gohan," Gojon said, as he rubbed his ears.
The Namekian led the Earth convoy towards a large rocky pillar where there was a building on top. Just outside the doorway, the Namekian warrior, Nail, was standing guard. The Namekian fighter that was leading the current Z-Fighters and supporters, went up to Nail and started to speak in Namekian language.
"What are they saying," Bulma asked.
"You ask too many questions, woman," Vegeta remarked to Bulma.
"Screw you," Bulma responded.
"No thank you."
Nail and the other Namekian had finished speaking, so Nail looked to the visitors.
"Lord Guru would wish to speak to you," Nail said to them.
Nail led them all inside the building for them to see a larger and older Namekian that looked to be the grand elder to them all. From the looks of it, he didn't look too well in health. It was as if age was getting to him.
"Aaah. You must be the ones that have come to help my children," Guru spoke in a peaceful yet powerful tone of voice.
"Well. Not exactly. We came here to bring back our friends that were killed in battle against the Saiyans on Earth," Krillin answered.
"How is it that you know about the Dragonballs?"
"The Earth Guardian, Kami, was Namekian. He came to Earth a long time ago," Goku answered.
"Oh, the child of the Dragon clan survived his journey. I remember now. When the great drought came upon Namek and nearly killed my people, the Dragon clan thought it best to send one of our own to insure the survival of our kind," Guru explained.
"Yeah, well he passed away alongside his other half, Piccolo," Bulma said.
"I see. Please, come forward, so that I may scan your minds to see what you speak is true," the Grand Elder suggested. Goku and Krillin were the ones to step forward first, and the Grand Elder placed his hands on Goku and Krillin's heads. It wasn't long until he learned that their statements were true.
"What you say is true, and your need for the Dragonballs shall be granted. Nail, tell the other elders to provide their Dragonballs to our new friends," the Grand Elder said.
"Yes! Thank you, Grand Elder, sir!" Goku cheered, as everyone else, minus Vegeta because he thought he was too proud to cheer for the help from a Namek, and Gojon suddenly got a massive attack on the eardrum from everyone's cheering.
"Stop… Stop yelling…" Gojon was grinding his teeth from the pain in his ears. It was no longer just the cheering that was hurting Gojon's ears, but he started to hear the Namekians from outside the building. Then he could hear birds chirping, large animals of Namek battling each other for territory, then he could hear other beings that couldn't be Namekians.
"I don't care if your manhood was shattered from your last fight from the Namekians, I want you to find the Namekians and the Dragonballs!"
"Lord Freiza, I cannot locate them. I could run into the Namekians and they could slaughter me."
"I don't care, get it done! Or I will order Recoome to sodomize you once I convince him that you are a woman!"
Gojon was on his knees, and he didn't even that his family and friends were all trying their best to see find out what was wrong with, since his eyes were shut closed from the pain and his hearing was going everywhere around the planet.
"STOOOOP!"
With a lion's roar, Gojon yelled in hopes to trying to stop the noise, and through that, his eyes opened wide open. With that, a gaze of red flaming energy fired out from his eyes.
Everyone around him only had a second to react from the sudden blast of energy firing from Gojon's eyes. Luckily, there was nobody in the way of Gojon's view of eye sight, but the laser fired out breaking through the building's walls. The Namekians outside were spooked seeing an energy blast being fired from their Grand Elder's palace. However, the Namekians were not the only ones that saw the blast.
Zarbon was in a hurry to find the Namekians, since his life depended on it. He had scoured as far as he could, but there was no trace of the Namekian's whereabouts.
"I'm a dead man. I might as well hide under a rock, and hope to the Gods they give me mercy," Zarbon said out loud, but then he saw a stream of red energy shooting out in the distance. "That is obviously not Freiza."
Zarbon was silent for a moment until he could finally comprehend the conclusion.
"HeheheheHAAAHAAHAHAHA! I'm not dying today," Zarbon celebrated, and he quickly got onto the communicator. "Lord Freiza, do I have great news for you!"
In another star system far from Namek…
There was a large ship that had landed not too long ago. The passengers of the ship were of different races. Some looked a bit insect like, fish like, mammal like, etc. They all followed the orders of one man, or at least followed his orders due to the muscle that he had under his control. He and his son were one of the few remaining Saiyans left after Freiza's destruction on Planet Vegeta. His name was, Paragus, and his son's name, Broly.
"Sire, what do you wish to do," one of the mercenaries asked Paragus.
"Set up base on that hill up there," Paragus pointed out.
"Yes, sire. Another thing I should bring up, sire."
"What is it?"
"Some of the men are terrified. After hearing about the Icegins, Lord Cooler was killed, and King Cold almost getting nearly killed, they are all scared of running into the same soldiers that killed them," the mercenary explained.
"Yes. King Cold and Cooler. Well I'll remind you, Sanrok, that their power is nothing compared to the power my son holds," Paragus said.
"But sire, only one of those assassins were able to massacre all of King Cold's men and beat King Cold himself. There are reports that there could be dozens of them! May I bring up the fact that we are in the borders that used to belong to Cooler and now he is dead."
"Calm yourself, before I make you calm down," Paragus threatened Sanrok.
"Err… yes sire."
Paragus looked back towards the starting process of the building of the palace that he will have future plans. However, there would be a bit of a disturbance to the work, as there were three objects entering the atmosphere of the planet. The Saiyan pulled out the scouter he had for back up, and he pressed on the button to scan the power level. However, the scouter could not get a proper reading because the power levels were very low and far out.
"No. Not now," Paragus murmured to himself.
The three objects changed direction towards the hill where the palace was set to be built on, and the landing impact caused great collateral damage to the men Paragus had stationed there. The men that were still in the ship saw what had happened, and they were well aware of the organization that easily killed Cooler and nearly killed King Cold. Now they could be facing three of them.
"All men, report outside the ship. Prepare defenses," Paragus' voice was heard in the intercom of the ship.
Paragus couldn't get a power level on the new comers, and from what he could see, there were three figures walking out of the fires from the landing impact on the vehicles set there. The Saiyan then knew that he needed to bring out his only trump card if his intended plans were to survive. He lifted his hand towards his ship.
"Come out here, Broly. Your power is needed for good use."
He heard the wind whistling, as if there was a large incoming missile, but he knew better that it wasn't a missile incoming. Paragus saw three humanoid figures landing right at the time he turned around to see them. They had armor that a lot different compared to the armor the Cold empire would have their men would wear. The armor seemed to be similar to middle aged knight armor, but obviously a lot updated. There were two men, one was very large and the other one seemed to be fairly average height but seemed young to his early twenties. The third was an above average height woman with snow white hair.
"You have illegally trespassed into Kryptonian borders," the woman said.
"You will identify yourselves, and be trialed," the shorter man said.
"Hmph. On who's authority," Paragus challenged three of them.
"In Dru-Zod's authority," the shorter man responded.
"Private Mak-Va, you will address him by, General," the woman corrected the one named Mak-Va.
"Yes, Colonel Mala-Zod."
Paragus looked to the side of him to see that his men were gathering up to face them, but they looked scared senseless. The woman, Mala, studied Paragus' men, and she knew they were scared.
"I can see your men are afraid of certain death," Mala said to Paragus.
"Yes it seems so, but I still have something very good to use against the likes of you," Paragus responded, as he held his hand outward to the three, finally identified, kryptonians. "You will be the victims to the Legendary Super Saiyan!"
The ground started to rumble as if there were an earthquake, and from the ship, they heard loud a yell coming from the ship's entrance. Then there was a loud boom that caused the ship to explode from the inside. The force caused Paragus and his men to be blown away, but the kryptonians were not moved at all by the force. They could see a humanoid being surrounded in a yellow-green aura, and the figure was as large as the large kryptonian.
"Colonel Mala. Your orders," Mak asked with a bit of nervousness, as he was still new in the field of combat.
"Neutralize this so called, 'Legendary Super Saiyan.' He has never faced Krypton's finest," Mala said, as she popped her knuckles.
The Namekians are hiding in sanctuary from Freiza's men, and Freiza has called for the help from the Ginyu Force. Dadoria was killed easily by Nail, and Zarbon has been in a hurry to find the Namekians. Lord Guru is willing to help our heroes, but Gojon seems to be having some certain issues concerning his sense perceptions. Does it have to do with his heritage? Now Zarbon has been able to find the Namekian village due to the sudden energy blast from Gojon's eyes. And it seems there is a bit of other problems concerning the other Saiyan, Paragus. He has run into these so called, Kryptonians, and now he has resorted to bringing out his son, the Legendary Super Saiyan.
Okay, now I thought it best to have a little extra scene concerning Broly and the Kryptonians, because I thought to myself and it looked like this story was more of Dragonball Z rewrite with different set of events.
Also, I will start here, I will ask for any OCs for Gojon to be paired up with, and I'll see what I can do.
Selias- Yep, it seems that Paragus and Broly have run into certain soldiers for the General. I am well aware of the three suns, and as you can see it has started to come into effect. Hope you love this chapter.
Ryan.w123- Yep, it is blue kryptonite, and as I told you in PM, it is not Doomsday. If it were Doomsday, everyone on Namek would be having a shit sandwich without the bread for lunch.
Sinatry- Yep that was the Phantom Stranger. As you can see, the Kryptonians are here and alive. Just wait. Just wait.
Ashbringer36- Sorry, no Darkseid here. Just the precise attack of Krypton's force. Yep shame on Bulma. I well keep that in mind on the Captain Marvel candidate. Thanks for the idea.
BulmaVegetalover- I will do my best. Yes, I will see what I can do with OCs. Is Broly the answer to the DBZ movies?
The Man of Time- I'm glad you feel that way. Apokolips? Maybe. Maybe. Well, it is just that they have never tested out the indestructability of the bracelets. But don't worry, we'll get there.
