Here is the next chapter! IT is the longest chapter and I had started it right after I had posted the previous one, getting over 1,000 words in a day (I usually get that much in a week).

I would love to thank my only current reviewer, and all the ideas that they have given me. Even though I don't know much about history, I will try ad research what I can for you. (I didn't want to mention my reviewer's name because I don't want to worry about spelling it correctly, or if they would like for me to mention them at all.)

Well, I will let all of you get on with the chapter, enjoy!

Veronika waited in the airport, keeping her eye on the arrival board. She remembered the results of telling the others about this development. Tia had been slightly frightened, Emilija was excited, Henri was okay with it, and Zoe didn't care. Veronika remembered their reactions clearly.

It was dinner and Veronika had decided to tell the other three at that time. She waited until everyone was done and then told them the news.

"Mark is going to be arriving tomorrow, I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner." She had gotten four individual stares from the teens, before getting an answer.

"Are you serious? Mark is freaking creepy, it always feels like he is watching me!" Tia started to freak out, claiming that Mark was stalking her. Emilija looked at the older girl, and rolled her eyes.

"I think it will be fun having someone new around the house. Mark is my favourite person from your family Veronika." Emilija was bouncing in her seat, and had a wide smile on her face. Tia had already left the table, and Henri had finished washing the dishes. Zoe was reading a magazine, and didn't even look up.

"I don't truly care. This doesn't change very much of anything." Zoe stood then left to the room that she shared with Tia.

"I think it will be nice having another male around here, then there won't be so much estrogen in this house." Henri put the towel he was using on the side of the sink and walked out of the kitchen, after stating his opinion. Veronika and Emilija were the only two left in the kitchen, and Emilija was working on the little bit of homework that she had. Veronika smiled, knowing that it was too late to turn back now.

Veronika blinked out of her memory, and looked to the arrival section of the airport. The plane that her brother had been on had just arrived and she was looking for him. Veronika stood from her seat, and looked for the light beige-blond hair that her brother had. She soon spotted him talking to a blond female that was familiar to Veronika. The Russian female started to make her way over to her younger brother. He had seen her and walked in her direction, still talking with the girl.

"Hello little brother. How was the flight?" Veronika hugged Mark, and he hugged her back. Veronika took note of the earthy smell that her brother had. She remembered that he worked on their farm along with their older sister.

"The flight went well, Sister. I got to sit beside Miss Della here." Mark motioned to Della, who gave a small wave. Veronika looked to the blond female, and smiled. She hugged the female too, after letting go of Mark.

"Your back Della. Charlotte will be happy to see you. Did the movie go good?" Della hugged Veronika back and let her head fall onto the taller girl's shoulder. The two of them were like sisters, and Della liked the scent of the other woman. Veronika always smelt like sunflowers and beer with a hint of vodka.

"The movie went well, thanks for asking, Veronika. How is the flower shop?" Della pulled away, and the three walked toward the exit. They walked to where Veronika had her small car parked.

"The flowers are good. Do you want a ride?" Della nodded, in response to Veronika's question. Veronika put Mark's bags into the trunk, and let Della put hers on the backseat.

"So, what have I missed out on?" Della leaned forward so her face was in between the two front seats. Mark looked over to Veronika, wanting to know what was up with the town as well.

"Well Oakwood Apartments burnt down. Olivia and her family are living the Lillian hotel currently. The school year is almost over, and there are some visitors." Veronika kept driving, hoping that she remembered the way to Charlotte's house. The car was silent or a few seconds, until Della broke it with her quiet voice. "Visitors? Where are they from?"

"Well, from what I was able to hear, they are each from a Nordic country. One from Denmark, another from Norway, one from Iceland, one from Finland, and the last one from Sweden. I got to meet the Danish one and the Norwegian one at the bar yesterday." Veronika turned down Residence avenue and searched for the pale blue house that belonged to her English friend.

"I hope everything turns out okay for Olivia and all them." Veronika looked at Mark through the corner of her eye, he was looking out his window, watching everything go by.

"I think they will. Olivia and her family are strong people. Here we are, your stop Miss Della." Veronika had pulled into the driveway of Charlotte's house, and Della thanked her for the ride, and got out. She had all her stuff with her and waved as Veronika backed out of the driveway.

When Veronika and Mark got back to Veronika's house, Emilija was there to greet them. "Hello Mark, how are you?"

"I'm good." Mark patted the Latvian's head and walked into the house, heading straight for his room. He left his bags on the bed, and looked around the room, taking notice that it was the same from he had last come for a visit. He turned to the door and left the room, his light blue scarf flowing behind him. Even though it was summer time, Mark wore the blue scarf that his sisters had given him. Mark went to the kitchen, where food was being set on the table. Everyone was already sitting down, except for Veronika who was putting plates of food on the table. The only seat available for Mark to take was one across from Tia, who refused to look up.

Dinner was silent, and was over quicker than usual. When Tia left the table, Mark had also gotten up. He watched her from around the corner, wanting her to love him like he loved her. Without realizing it he started to mutter 'Love Me' over and over under his breath. Tia had heard him and tried to walk away, but he kept following her. She was safe when she entered her room and closed her door. Mark was unhappy, but left to his room nonetheless.

(Della's Point of View)

Della walked up to the front door as Veronika drove away, she was nervous, she hadn't seen them for almost a full year. She reached the door, and gripped the handle of her suitcase harder. Taking a deep breath, she reached for the doorknob and twisted it, opening the door with a slight creak.

"Hello? Marylyn? Charlotte? I'm back!" She called into the warm home, coming in and closing the door behind her. There was silence for a second before she heard a thump, and scurrying feet. Spoons ran in, with Marylyn following her.

"DELLA!" Marylyn gripped Della in a death hug, refusing to let her go. Charlotte came into the hall from her room. Charlotte was wearing a dark green dress and looked like she was going out, even though it was only five thirty. The Englishwoman smiled and joined in the hug. "Welcome home, love."

"What about me? Do I get to join in the group hug?" Pierre came out of the bathroom, and gave a mock pout. Della smiled and motioned for him to join with her free arm, the other one trapped between Marylyn and Charlotte. Pierre joined in the group hug, and the four of them stayed like that for another minute. When Charlotte pulled away, the others pulled away as well, fixing themselves.

"Della, you should have said that you were coming back today. Pierre and I are going to a dinner party that the mayor is throwing. You and Marylyn are going to be here for the night, unless Marylyn is going to Bree's, then you will be on your own for the night." Charlotte had walked towards her room again, fixing her hair into a fancy side braid. Pierre went to his room, and Holly flew out flying around Della's head. Della laughed and held out her arm, she was wearing a leather jacket which helped to protect her from the bird talons. Holly landed on Della's arm and cooed, making Della pet her head.

"That's fine. I'm tired, so I think I will just relax tonight, even if Marylyn decides to stay." Della sat down on the couch in their living room, sagging down and yawning. Marylyn sat beside her and rested her head down on top of Della's shoulder. Della smiled and let her head rest on Marylyn's head, closing her eyes and unknowingly drifting to sleep.

(Isla's Point of View)

Isla had been skyping Tia, who had told her about Mark coming to visit. Isla was sitting on her sister's claimed bed, while Deniela was cleaning the bathroom.

"I don't know if I will be able to stand having him around. I don't even know how long he is going to be staying for. What do you suggest I do?"

"I think that you should just try and be nice. I mean that is what Olivia told me to do when I was faced with something I didn't like."

"Yeah, that might work, but every time I try to be nice he stalks me, and clings to me. He is obsessive, and it is kind of creepy."

"Well, I have no other ideas." The door to the room opened and Isla could hear Olivia talking to Katrina and Bea. "I have to go, Olivia's home."

"Alright, it's almost dinner time, and I have to finish my homework."

"I hope everything turns out alright. Talk to you later?"

"Yeah, later."

Isla signed out, and closed her laptop. She looked down at Olivia, who had started to sort through the boxes by the side of the bed. Isla watched as her older sister pulled out dresses, then tossed them back into the box.

"Are you going somewhere, stóra systir?" Isla watched the older blonde for another few seconds, before picking up clothes from the boxes that interested her.

"Yes, I am. Deniela, Bea, Katrina, and I are going to the Mayor's dinner party tonight. You are going to be across the hall with Emil and his brothers." Isla let herself relax after the last sentence. She had been a little frightened when Olivia had said that all four of the older girls were going to be out, but was then reassured when Olivia said that she wouldn't be alone.

"Is it going to be an overnight thing?" Olivia looked up at Isla, who was looking at a loose tank top designed as the Icelandic flag. Olivia looked back down at the box of clothes and sighed.

"I think it will be. You might as well pack an overnight bag." Isla nodded absentmindedly, and slipped off her plain plum-purple t0shirt and putting on the shirt that she was previously looking at. Isla stood up and grabbed her school bag, emptying its contents onto the bed, then sifting through the contents of the boxes, and pulling out things that she liked, and that fit her. She finished packing her bag and set it by the door. Isla then sat on the couch, looking through the notifications on her phone.

"Isla." Said girl looked up, and stared right into the dark blue eyes of Bea. Bea stood in front of Isla and had her hands behind her back.

"Here." Bea brought whatever was behind her back forward and presented it to Isla, who broke out into a smile. Bea had made the other girl's guitar like she promised and embellished it with the flag of Iceland on one side and the Norwegian flag on the other.

"Thank you so much!" Isla jumped up and hugged the taller girl, bringing the blond swede down into a tight embrace. Once Isla let go of Bea and took the guitar, looking it over and tuning the strings.

When it was time for the four to go, Olivia escorted Isla across the hall, and gave simple instructions to Tino, who had answered the door.

"Amusing her is simple, she is a pro at chess, she loves reading, she can play guitar and sing, and she has her blog. Have fun. Bye Isla, be good."

Isla was currently updating her blog. The room that the five men had was almost the same as the one that she was in, but there were more beds. She was sitting on one of the beds, occasionally looking up and keeping track of what everyone was doing. Lukas was reading, Emil was eating licorice, Berwald was also reading, Matthias was watching television, and Tino was also watching the show while resting against Berwald. Isla slowly stood from the bed, and quietly crept up behind Lukas, just to see what he was reading. She folded her arms on the back of the couch, rested her chin on her forearms, and sat on her knees. She had a full view of the book, and no one detected her yet. The book looked like some sort of spell book, written in Norwegian.

"You like magic?" Her question made everyone jump, even Lukas was surprised in the slightest of ways. He turned his head and pulled back a bit, not liking her closeness.

"How do you know it's about magic?" He wanted to know, because he had assumed that she didn't know Norwegian, or anything about magic.

"It is the same one that Big Sister had. She taught me how to read it, and some of the minor spells had worked. You see that one there?" Isla pointed to one of the spells on the page. "That one can change a person's gender for a month, and the one beside it can make a person see through another person's eyes. It's quite interesting, especially the history behind most of the spells. Sadly, Sister's book got destroyed in the fire."

Isla got a lot of stares in return for the information. Lukas went back to reading, and the others went back to what they were doing.

"Do you remember where all the spells are in the book?" Isla looked at Lukas who was still looking through the spells.

"Sure. Which spell are you looking for?" Isla stood up and went around the side of the couch, and sat beside Lukas.

"A memory spell." Isla looked at Lukas, then took the book, flipping through the pages. "Do you want a spell that can take away memories, or something that will help bring them back?"

"Bring them back." Lukas watched as the icy haired girl look through the book. She looked so much like Emil that it almost hurt.

"Here, this is one that is the best for retrieving lost memories. The only catch, is that it will only work if the memories were lost naturally, like through medical conditions or something like that. If they were stolen with magic it won't work. The spell under it can help collect stolen memories. That's all that there is in this book, I hope it works for you." Isla pointed to the spell and handed the book back to Lukas. Lukas looked over the spells and nodded, getting up and going to one of the beds. Tino then stood, looking at the time and moving to the kitchen.

"Is there anything you prefer to eat Isla?" Tino turned to the only female in the room, and asked her his question. She tilted her head and shrugged. "Not really no. I like trying new things."

Tino nodded and got to work, making something. Isla hummed as she tried to make sense of the show that Matthias had on. She blinked, feeling like something was staring into her soul. She turned to the right and she caught Berwald analyzing her. She turned and smiled, watching as his face had a slight shocked expression, but then it turned back into the normal glare-like expression.

Isla turned back to the television, but then a black and white figure caught her eye. The figure was sitting on Emil's head and ate some of the licorice that he had. The figure was a puffin, and Isla let out a small squeak. Almost every head turned to her to see what she was squeaking about.

"A puffin?" Isla leaned forward to get a better view, and the Puffin flew up to the arm of the couch, staring right at Isla.

"Can I pet you?" Isla asked the puffin the question, like she did with every animal. She had a firm belief that most animals could understand what she was saying and sometimes she could hear them respond. The puffin ducked his head down and allowed Isla to pet him.

"His name is Mr. Puffin." Emil said from his position on the floor. The male was looking through his phone, occasionally sending someone a text message.

"My cat's name is Puffin." Isla mumbled distractedly. "You're such a beautiful bird."

"Why thank you, Sweetheart." There was a collected intake of breath, and Isla could feel the stares of four sets of eyes. She giggled, and kept running her finger over Mr. Puffin's back. She looked up, and smiled at the worried faces.

"You're not going to freak out?" Isla shook her head, and Matthias just about bursted. "A bird just spoke and you're not freaking out!"

"Nope. I always felt like animals spoke to me, so this is nothing new to me. Except maybe for the fact that it wasn't just me who heard him speak." Isla heard a few sighs, and let herself smile. Mr. Puffin decided to sit in Isla's lap, making her sit up. He started to tell her a story, with him as the main character. The story sounded a little made up to Isla, but she nodded and responded like she would with most people.

After that, the six of them sat and watched a movie, while eating the soup that Tino had made. When the movie was finished, Isla had started to hum a song while looking through her social media pages.

"Hey, Isla. You can sing, right?" Isla looked up at the Danish man sitting on the chair to her left, and nodded. He had a wide smile on his face and it looked like he was planning something. Isla sighed, slightly annoyed, and stood. She placed Mr. Puffin on the arm of the couch, and went over to where all her stuff was. Her guitar laid on the ground in it's case, waiting for her to play. Isla picked up the guitar and slung the strap over her shoulder, strumming it lightly. She went back to the group and sat on the floor, leaning against the couch.

"Lately I'm feeling stupid and crazy, 'cause I saw him with his new baby,

and he treats her like she's the one"

The beginning was slow, but Isla made it mesmerizing. Her tone, and the way that she let the words flow, made the song sound professional and practised. As she went on the music and the lyrics became a little more fast-paced.

"It's not that I want him back, ain't trying to be mean,

But I bought him brand new clothes, and burned his skinny jeans,

And she'll never know, that I made him better for her"

Isla jerked her head, trying to keep her long hair out of her face. She kept her eyes down, looking at the guitar strings. She felt someone pull the light-coloured strands of hair away from her face, and she let a small smile make its way onto her face.

"So, give some credit where it's due, give props to you know who

I gave him swag, I made him cool, he used to be a fool"

Isla closed her eyes, imagining the boys of her friend group, and the way that the girls had helped them get girls to talk to them.

"So, give some credit where it's due, give props to you know who,

You know who,

Give credit where it's due... Hey!"

Isla was so far into her mind, that she didn't see the astounded faces of the men that sat with her in the room. She swayed lightly along to the guitar, and the words she sang.

"Oooh-wee, he holds her hand at the movies, never stares at other boobies

I bet she thinks he's the one (yes she does, yes she does)"

Isla even sang the backup singers part, adding it in a little quieter. She opened her eyes and stared at the blank television, her thoughts and mind still not completely in reality.

"She should be thanking me and sending me some flowers

I taught him everything, now he can last for hours (Yeah)

She'll never know, that I've made him better for her"

Tino was watching in awe and had a huge smile on his face. Berwald had braided Isla's hair and sat behind her on the couch, listening intently. Lukas and Emil both had their eyes closed and had serene looks on their faces. Matthias was watching Isla wide eyed and had his mouth hanging open, he was in a state of shock.

"So, give some credit where it's due, give props to you know who

I gave him swag, I made him cool,

He used to be a fool"

Isla kept singing, not caring about the states of the men around her, she was completely stuck in the music.

"So, give some credit where it's due,

Give props to you know who

You know who

Give credit where it's due... Hey!"

Isla started to sway along to the music, and she smiled. Tino was the only one who saw the smile, and he thought she looked like a kid with the smile, and not an over-stressed teenager.

"Yo... he used to be whack

But I made him all that

Well shit, if you think of my last name

I guess my trainings where it's at

Had him brushing his teeth, even flossing...

Got him looking like Ryan Gosling

I guess that makes me pretty awesome

But I wasn't in love so I tossed him..."

All five of Isla's current caretakers were taken aback by the sudden rapping, and the fact that Isla could even rap in the first place.

"So, give some credit where it's due,

Give props to you know who

I gave him swag, I made him cool,

He used to be a fool"

Isla repeated the chorus and the song went on.

"So, give some credit where it's due,

Give props to you know who

You know who

Give credit where it's due... Hey!"

Isla closed her eyes, and added a bit of sass to her voice, letting her accent slip in a bit.

"Give me that credit... baby baby

Give me that credit... baby baby

Give me that credit... baby.

'Cause you know who...

Give credit where it's due

You'll never know

You'll never know, he wasn't like this before...

You'll never know

You'll never know, unless you're hearing this song"

Isla finished the song, and opened her eyes. She was surprised when she heard clapping and blushed a little when they complimented her. She stood up and yawned, thanking Berwald for braiding her hair.

"I would like to go to bed now, if you don't mind." Isla rubbed her eyes and let out another huge yawn.

"Of course, you can go to bed. We don't mind. You can use Emil's bed." Tino pointed out Emil's bed, and Isla took her bag and changed into her pajamas in the bathroom. She climbed into the bed, mumbling a small good night in Icelandic and Norwegian. As soon as her head hit the pillow she was out like a light. Playing the guitar and singing had taken its toll on her and made her tired, but what she didn't know was that Lukas had tried one of the memory spells on her, hoping that it would work. Isla sighed in her sleep, as if she knew what was going to happen.

The song I used was Credit by Meghan Trainor, which I do not own.

I hope you like the chapter and I would love for you to give me some feedback on what you liked or disliked, and what you would like to see in upcoming chapters, or if there is anything confusing. (If I don't know that something doesn't make sense to someone, I won't try to explain it later on, because I think it makes sense. So, if there is anything that makes no sense, please tell me and I will explain it at the beginning of the next chapter.
