"Before we get moving on this one, care to tell me how you survived dauntless initiation?"

"Later." He replied.

Charlie shrugged, "alright. Bring it on."

Eric rolled his eyes. The room spun once again and then was still. In front of them stood a large crowd of people with their backs facing Eric and Charlie.

"Crowds? Same."

"Any brilliant ideas this time?"

"Aww, come on. Brilliant ideas are like a second nature to me. I have a small list of ideas in my head, no of which you're going to like."

"Which will take the least amount of time?" Eric shot back.

Charlie gave him a smirk and shouted, "GROUP HUG!"

She grabbed the wrist of a man about her height. He looked to be about eighteen. He had long, shaggy, dark brown hair. His eyes were brown and sprinkled with specks of green. The name tag on his chest read "Taylor."

Eric ended up in the middle of about the twenty eight boys and girls, all who seemed to be about Taylor's age.

"This is your great idea?" Eric cringed.

As if on cue, the room spun again and they were back in the simulation room once again. Charlie looked over at Eric, a smug look painted on her face. Eric rolled his eyes and headed towards the exit. Charlie lightly laughed and followed him. No way was Eric going to let Charlie get away with thinking she'd outsmarted him in his own fear landscape. He looked at the clock. 2:14Am. Perfect. Eric turned and headed towards the Chasm without looking back, praying Charlie would take the hint and follow him. He walked down and to the bottom of the Chasm. The sound of the rushing waters calms him. He gets to the bottom where two small rocks sit on either side of a larger one, resembling a table and two chairs. On the large rock, sits Max's masterpiece. The rock is covered in a black table cloth with silver flowers painted on it. The center of the table is decorated with pink, red, white and black roses. In front of each chair is Eric's mom's beautiful blue goblets and china from her wedding. Next to the roses, an eight tier famous Dauntless cakes stands tall and proud. The pink and white roses that decorate it jump out from the jet black background. On the floor next to the table, three elegantly wrapped presents wait, wrapped perfectly in silver. Eric hadn't forgotten what today was. The landscape was simply to get Charlie's mind off it and to give Max and the others time to set to up for him. They had gone above and beyond what Eric had expected and he owed them big time. He smiled to himself as he quickly stripped out of the old black skinny jeans and t-shirt he had on and into the black slacks and button down shirt Max had left him under the table with a note that read, "Don't fuck this one up too."

He had thrown his old clothes onto the farthest rock when he heard a small gasp behind him. He turned around and his face dropped like a stone.
