Rufus Turner: So, we partnering on this, or not?

[Bobby gives him a shocked look]

Rufus Turner: C'mon, man, it's not rocket surgery. We're here. Let's do this. Just like ol' times.

Bobby Singer: As long as I get to drive.

Rufus Turner: [laughing] Hell, no.

-Supernatural Season Six Episode Sixteen

"So," Stephanie said as Jason returned with his coffee, "I was thinking."

"Don't hurt yourself," Jason muttered under his breath, but made a 'go on' motion as he sipped at his coffee. It was strong and could potentially dissolve a spoon.

"Well," Stephanie said as she picked at the crumbs of her waffles, "you and I grew up with this shit right?" Crime Alley was more than a cesspit of crime and poverty, it was also a gathering place for monsters, demons, and more. "I know that a few hunters have permanently moved to Gotham- the Regents, Enriquez's group and I hear that Tell and Garcia moved down there too. Even some of the costume criminals hunt, well, mainly Riddler and occasionally Penguin. Plus, we've both hunted before, right?"

"Yeah," Jason confirmed.

"So who possessed Dickie?" Stephanie asked, signaling the waitress at the same time for Jason.

Oddly, Jason flushed, "Gabriel. He consented, the idiot."

"Really," Stephanie asked interestedly, "Isn't Gabriel dead?"

The waitress stopped at their table. "Hi. Would you like the check?"

"No," Jason addressed the waitress, "Homefries and a chocolate shake please."

"Same here," Stephanie piped up. "What?" she said defensively to Jason, "I'm a growing girl!"

"Almost," Jason said a little defensively as soon as the waitress was out of earshot, "but not quite. The little fuck's like a cockroach."

"Okay," Stephanie said slowly, "This is weirder than normal, but. Okay. How do we get Gabriel out of Dick?"

"That," Jason admitted slowly, sipping his cooling coffee, "I don't actually know."

Twenty thousand miles away, two old men were fighting over the radio. Rufus Turner- who was nursing a hangover- wanted it off. Bobby Singer, feeling contrary and slightly evil, wanted it on. Preferably on something loud and annoying.

"Bobby," Rufus complained, holding his head.

"Rufus," Bobby mocked. He had no sympathy, as the other man had done the exact same thing to him so many fucking times. He cranked up the music to it's a maximum volume. Rufus gave him a filthy look and turned it down to a less ear bleeding volume. Rufus then took a swing out of his flask. Bobby rolled his eyes.

"So, who are we seeing again?" Rufus wondered out loud, holding his cold flask of Johnny Walker Blue to his aching head. The headache he had reluctantly stopped its onslaught.

"Nygma," Bobby replied. They were approaching the outskirts of Gotham City.

"Riddler?" Rufus asked, surprised, "Ain't he in Arkham?"

"He escaped jest last week," Bobby replied, making a left turn. The neighborhood to the right was wealthy, while the street he was on started middle class and got steadily worse.

"And we're going to see him," Rufus said skeptically, though he was starting to crack a grin, "Unannounced."

"What? Should I've called?" Bobby asked as innocently as possible while fighting off a snigger, "We're old dear friends, afterall."

Rufus lost it. "Dear friends," he wheezed out.

"Well," Bobby said, not looking at Rufus, "I would say frenemies, but I ain't a preteen girl."

Rufus started laughing again- it sounded like a mix of drunken hyena and angry wet cat- and took another swig from his flask.

Eventually, Bobby stops outside a house that is seconds from falling over, and has weeds peeking out from the cement path that leads to the front door. A loose tile slides off the roof and shatters on the ground. They approached the rotting door. Rufus started to bang on it. It was yanked open in short order, and shut just as fast as Edward Nygma saw who it was.

"Don't be like that Edward!" Bobby yelled through the door.

The Riddler said something foul, opened the door, and blocked the way in by leaning on the doorframe. "Whatever it is, whatever it may be, the answer is no." He said this with a resigned air of someone that knew that they would be forced to change their minds very soon. He stood aside to let Bobby and Rufus in, and shut the door after them.
