A/N: alright here is the second part of the last chapter and again I am really sorry for the shortness of the last chapter but I was falling asleep as I was writing and I was running out of ideas.
Clary:
As soon as I saw Jonathon launch himself at me I lifted my swords up to meet his swords before they reached my chest, where he aimed them at. I pushed him back with renewed strength and watched as he stumbled back slightly.
"Looks like someone has been busy these past two years training; I'm impressed little sister, but not enough to worry that you are going to beat me. Let's not forget who I am." Jonathan said with a smirk.
"How can I forget who you are with you reminding me about every ten seconds!" I grinded out while attacking him with my swords.
He let out a short laugh and blocked all of my strikes at him without even breaking a sweat. I let out a frustrated yell and twisted one of my swords so that it would entangle with his, and pressed down hard so that he would let go of it. He gave out a slight gasp and I let a small smile out at that. I straightened my position and jumped up to kick out my barefoot and kick him in the chest. He went whirling back into a tree and slid down to the bottom. I landed on the ground crouched on my feet and watched him as he slowly got up. I picked up his sword and tossed it back towards where I knew that Jace was waiting and just watching. Jonathan got up and looked at me with a look of murder upon his face. He walked towards me and pulled a massive sword that was attached to his back into his hands.
"Alright, I tried giving you a chance to come with my peacefully without anyone getting hurt. Now, it's time I do things by force and the fun way. Any last words to your sordid lover, Clary?" he asked me with his pitch black eyes pulsing.
"Actually yea I do, hey Jace?" I called out to him.
"Yea, Clary?"
"How far can you throw someone my height?"
"I don't know probably all the way back to the rink, why do you ask?"
"I was just wondering whether it would hard enough and with enough force to knock some sense into demon boy over here." I said running towards Jace as I was talking.
Jace's eyes widened and as soon as I launched myself into his arms he positioned himself so that he could throw me, and threw me with a powerful thrust. I held my swords out and grabbed onto Jonathan and scrambled to his back. I swung my sword in an arc and heard it make contact with Jonathan's skin and felt him writhing beneath me. I jumped from his back and to the ground as he turned around to look at me. He took a step forward and pointed his hand at me, and in a flash it was gone and on the ground.
"Jonathan, look! It's déjà vu for you! Your hand is cut off again and is on the ground!"
"This isn't over yet Clary, you will come to me sooner or later and I am betting on it being sooner than later." And with that he disappeared into the shadows.
I let out a deep relieved breath and walked over to where Jace was waiting. He smiled at me as I approached and before he could say anything I slapped him.
"Ow! What the hell was that for?" he yelled as he held his face.
"That was for leaving me alone and making me fight my so called brother all alone." I yelled at him and slapped him again.
"Ouch! Well what was that one for?"
"That one was for being stupid enough to let your guard down while talking to me so he was actually able to fight with us." I slapped him again.
"Ouch! Okay what was that one for!"
"Nothing, I just like slapping you, your face makes a weird sound when it's being slapped and it's quite entertaining." I said with a small giggle.
"There is something dangerously wrong with you. I think I should have Magnus check you out." Jace said.
"jace I am fine, just a little agitated I guess, but that will pass in a minute as soon as I see ice."
"Yup, definitely something wrong with you."
"Oh, shut up!" I yelled at him and stomped away.
I heard him laughing while he was walking behind me as we made our way to the ice rink where everyone was surely waiting for us. I saw the ice rink up ahead and started to smile slightly as I saw Aaron waiting there with everyone else. I sheathed my swords on my back and ran towards them. Aaron looked towards me as he heard feet running and I launched myself into his arms. He picked me up with a laugh and twirled me around in them. He set me down, but I still had my arms wrapped around his neck. He laughed a little and I gently unwound my arms from around his neck. I looked at him with a confused look but he just shook his head at me telling me that he would tell me later. I nodded slightly and went to the edge of the rink where I put my boots, to take my skates off. I slipped them off and carried my skates back to where everyone was standing.
"Alright, is everyone ready to go?" I asked them.
"Isn't there something you wanna tell us, Dollface? Anything at all that happened while you were talking with Jace, anything, oh I don't know, demonic brother like?" Magnus asked me.
"Demonic brother like? Are you asking if I saw Jonathan because if you are then you must be nutters because I haven't seen Jonathan." I said lying, knowing ful well that I am a terrible liar.
"Why are you lying to us Clary, Jace told us everything that already happened, so why deny?" Alec said.
"Well, I was going to tell you once we were safe inside the Institute, but apparently someone found it necessary to tell everyone themselves." I said with a pointed look at Jace.
"I knew that you wouldn't tell them right away, so I figured that I would tell them what happened and then you could just tell them what you wanted." Jace said.
"Or you just wanted to see Clary mad at you and wanted her to kick your ass." Izzy said.
"Tomatoe. Tomato." Jace said.
"Clary, please tell me that you are going to kick his ass, I've been waiting for someone to do that for the past two years, and now I finally get to see it happen."
"Oh don't worry Izzy I plan to, but unfortunately, now, because someone had a big mouth, I think we need to discuss what our next game plan is. Come on, we're going to the Manhattan Institute instead of the New York one; it'll be easier for us to plan easier." I said.
"What's wrong with our institute, it's the same as all the others?" Alec asked.
"They may all be the same, but your institute hasn't received the Clary Fray treatment." Rachel said.
"What the hell is the Clary Fray treatment?" Magnus asked.
"The Clary Fray treatment as we have dubbed it, is her using her rune power to make the Institute more able to plan things better and to a more effective state. She really is brilliant. She even made a rune where on the meeting table there is a light showing where all the demons in New York that is under our jurisdiction are at all times, It sure saves us time of tracking them down." Rick said.
"So, she basically made it more mundane?" Alec asked.
"Yea, Alec I guess you could say it that way." I said.
"Alright then, let's get moving!" Magnus said.
I gave a small laugh and led the way towards the Institute. It was only a ten minute walk from the park to the Institute so as we were walking, everyone was talking getting to know each other. But the two that surprised me the most were Aaron and Jace. Aaron knew what Jace did to me and how much he hurt me, so it was somewhat of a surprise to see him acting civil towards Jace, and I distinctly remember that Jace was always hostile towards any dude that would talk to me. It took him a while to even get used to Simon being my best friend and that there was nothing romantic going on between us. I shook my head and continued to walk and talk with Simon. Up ahead of us, I saw that Rachel and Izzy were busy talking, probably about me and the fashion trips that we are all likely to go on to get me more in touch with my feminine side. I rolled my eyes and Simon nudged me in the side. I looked over at him and saw him giving me a wistful smile.
"I zoned out again didn't I?" I asked apologetically.
"Kinda, but I'm used to it by now. Besides, you wouldn't be Clary, if you weren't yourself. That's why we love you and missed you like crazy. Please, don't leave us again, Clare, you don't know how worried we were about what happened to you. We thought that Jonathan had come back and took you with him; we all know how badly he wants you." Simon said.
"Simon, I know that my choice wasn't really a smart one to make, but you didn't know how I was feeling when I saw what I saw. It was a spur of the moment decision but I am sorry, I missed my nerd buddy. It wasn't the same without you around, but I survived. I'm really glad you guys are back in my life again though." I said.
"And we are glad you're back too, it seems like someone else is glad to see you again as well."
"Who?" I asked.
Simon smiled and pointed towards the Institute door. I turned towards the door and saw someone that I didn't think I would see for a little while.
