"Dirty laundry
Never made me blink one tiiiiiiiime
Unconditional! UNCONDITIONALLY
I will love youuuuu unconditionnaaallyyy
There is no fear NOW
Let go and JUST BE FREEE-"
A muffled chuckle brought Bella back to reality. She turned to glare at Edward—arrogant, selfish, annoying little Edward. If she had been standing, her hands would at her hips. "What?" She barked at him. She would not be laughed at by a fresher.
He grinned at his Bella—gorgeous, kind, studious Bella with perfect pouty lips that he wanted to kiss. "Nothing, love." He held his hands up in surrender.
Bella rolled her eyes. "Right. Nothing. Whatever Cullen." She huffed lightly and snuggled into her blanket. Edward dreamed of the day when he'd be able to replace that blanket.

Confetti. Pink Paper. Elephant. Trumpet. Big wave. Submerged. Drowning, drowning, drowning...
Can't reach. Heavy. Can't breathe. Air. Need air.
He gasped, blinking rapidly until he realized that he was out of the water. Alice glanced at him through the rear-view mirror, worry evident in her face before the end of her lips quirked up into a teasing smile.
What? Edward wondered as he stretched lightly and froze in surprise. There was something against him, holding him down. Bella. She was leaning against him and somehow his arm was around her, holding her close.
Bloody hell.
Should I move?
But she's not even awake. She'll never know.
Alice does.
Alice already knows you like Bella. It doesn't matter.
Right. It doesn't matter.
Edward took deep breaths to calm himself. Nothing to worry about. Edward adjusted his arm, the one that was around Bella, before dropping his head back against seat, willing sleep to drown him again.

"Edward, go with Bella to pick up the grub." Alice's voice left no room for argument.
Bella rolled her eyes as she stifled a yawn. Alice had been trying to set up Bella with Edward for a while. Bella don't see the point. He doesn't like her, not like that anyway. Maybe he used to have a crush on her when they were in high school, but it's been years now. They weren't the kids they had been back then.
Bella grabbed her bag as Edward stumbled out the car and she didn't wait for him as she walked to the roadside restaurant, The Harvester.
Edward jogged to catch up with her though he'd enjoyed the view from behind. Gone was the petite beauty he fell in love with. Bella was all curves and smarts nowadays and he'd lying if he said that didn't turn him on. It had been five years since their first road trip together. They'd gone to visit London as friends.
A lot had changed since then. That shy, awkward Edward didn't exist, not anymore.
With a new surge of confidence, Edward grabbed Bella's hand before she entered the restaurant and asked if they could go for a walk.
A/N: I'd love to know your thoughts. Take care! xoxo
